So, I recently managed to unlock Dagath. And I find her fascinating from a character design perspective, because of the extremely specific needle they had to thread between the gravity and themes of her gothic-horror-inspired backstory of sexual abuse and dehumanization, and having to meet the default-level horniness-quota necessary for Digital Extremes to sign off on a female warframe design. And how they manage to do both at once is really interesting.

She's got the same pinup build as the majority of the female frames, if not more of one, but her secondary sexual characteristics are sculpted out of exposed bone rising from exposed flesh- and, judging by her kaithe-head pauldron, it might not even be her bone, she seems almost like she's been nina-tuckered with her horse. Like all warframes she's pulling the "technically naked" trick, but she's got a further dichotomy between the parts of her skin that are supposed to evoke a stitched cloak draped for modesty, and the absolute horrorshow of what it's draped over- red and white patches positioned to invoke a flayed corpse. Her legs strike a really clever middle ground I've never seen done before, in that depending on the angle they're either aping the silhouette of a woman's bare legs, a woman in stilettos, or ungulate hindquarters that have been mutilated until they can pass for those first two things- stray spikes of bone coming out the back of her calves, etc. And of course the circumstances of the violent removal of her face plays into the whole metaphor so blatantly I don't see a point in spelling it out again- game itself is only slightly less subtle than a neon sign with that one. 10/10 character design all around
