this season is named Zang Hua Yin, or 葬花吟. This is the name of a song that is featured in most modern adaptions of Dream of the Red Chamber, being adapted directly from the book(s), being based on Lin Daiyu's Elegy mourning dead flowers. The song's title itself translates roughly to The Song for Mourning Flowers or The Song for Flower's Funeral.

The EGO. is named. after Lin Daiyu. So far this is the most explicit that a reference has been to the source literature in any EGO names so far. But what, why, how and where?

First we go over my main idea, relating back to the preface about Daiyu, and then I'll go over some other theories I've seen.

This EGO is Hong Lu's, or Lin Daiyu//her equivalent's. Lin will die in the chapter, as she does in the end of the story.

recall the name of this season. Roughly 'The Song for a Flower's Funeral'. Jia Baoyu was a stone, one who held water that nourished a flower, later, that flower was reincarnated into Lin Daiyu. Lin is the flower. Specifically Lin is associated with the colour red, being a Crimson flower before her life as a human.

The only colours in this ego are Red and White, with two exceptions, the Jade eye, and the Jade rings on his horn.

I want to also make a disclaimer, I have not slept in ~28 hours, and have been looking at this image, cross referencing notes, and scanning all prior knowledge I had, for the past hour or so.

When they find me dead with the words "dept of tears" scrawled on my walls in blood, you know what happened.

And now for something that is like 90% me actually losing my mind, Library of Ruina spoilers.

Same style of Robe, same wreath(?) thing around and over their head, same base weapon of the Guan Dao. If my theory is right, they both lost their partner (potentially both due to their inaction and lack of motivation)

We can also see that they (before full manifestation on Xiao's part) both have the same singular dragon horn.

we can also see in the background of the art what seems to be a Long (Chinese dragon) arm. In reality, the simple fact that they are both very heavily based on the Dragon is enough to explain away basically everything that I see between them, but also I just think that it would be really cool if I did actually predict like a year ago that Hong Lu would manifest full EGO in his canto~

Other theories I've seen.

Yin/Yang aberration. I don't see why not? There's the same dragon idea that I rambled over for a while, could also potentially relate back to the idea "However, the world is more than simply warmth and light.", being balance of the good and bad nature of existence. This also could relate to how Yin and Yang are feminine and masculine respectively, Yin (black) being the calmer, grounded aspect, while Yang (white) is the assertive and energetic one, which could reflect Baoyu and Daiyu, or Daiyu and Baochai.

the clothes look like they're melting. This wasn't followed up with anything but i'm assuming they were alluding to Melting Love?

no...? I don't think so at least? I don't think that it fits this art... at all in any way shape or form.

It's just a new abnormality: If Daiyu is an abnormality then my guess and this one can be correct? Anyways this is the most likely as we don't really have any Dragon abnormalities so far
