Headcannon for how Shamura gave Narinder the gift and they subsequent behavior🤔

ENG: I don’t know how Shamura gave Aym and Baal to Narinder, but my headcanon is that they “opened the gates of Purgatory and left only the two children behind.” From Shamura’s perspective, I think they would be reluctant to meet Narinder again because they were the one who declared him a heretic, fought him, and imprisoned him. Of course, Shamura would feel guilt and regret toward Narinder, but since Narinder would likely be filled only with hatred for them, I believe Shamura thought it wise not to show themself and only sent Aym and Baal as gifts.

Another one of my headcanons focuses on the fact that when Aym and Baal, who were only three days old, stayed in Purgatory for 50 years, their bodies grew. I think Shamura must have been the one who continually provided the necessary food like breast milk and meat for their growth. If you ask how they obtained those, I think they got them through Forneus and sent them to Narinder as offerings.

That’s because in Shamura’s domain, the Silk Cradle, there are only arthropods, and their other siblings are also insects, amphibians, or fish—making it difficult to obtain something like breast milk, which is necessary for mammals to grow.So Shamura might have regularly gone to Forneus and ordered him to offer food like breast milk and meat. Forneus, having already lost the precious two children, ended up becoming their food supplier for 50 years.

Shamura is truly a terrible bishop... 🥹

🇰🇷: 샤무라는 나린더한테 어떻게 애임과 바알을 줬는 지 모르겠지만, "연옥 문을 열어서 두 아이만 놓고 갔다"라는 헤드캐논이 있어요. 샤무라 입장에선 나린더 다시 만나는 걸 꺼려할 거 같기 때문이에요. 왜냐하면 샤무라는 나린더를 이단으로 규정해 싸우고 감옥에 넣은 장본인이기 때문이죠. 물론 샤무라는 나린더에게 죄책감과 미안한 마음이 들겠지만, 나린더는 샤무라에게 증오심만 가득할테니 굳이 모습을 안비추는 게 현명한 선택이라고 생각해서 애임과 바알만 선물로 보냈을 거 같아요.

또 다른 헤드캐논은 3일된 애임과 바알이 연옥에 50년동안 있었을 때 이들의 몸이 성장했다는 것에 초점을 두었죠. 즉, 애임과 바알이 성장할 때 필요한 모유 및 고기 등의 음식을 샤무라가 계속 조달해준 거 아닐까요? 대체 어떻게 조달해줬냐? 라고 물으면 포네우스를 통해 나린더에게 선물로 보내줬을 거라고 생각해요. 왜냐하면 샤무라가 관리하는 지역인 비단 요람(Silk cradle)은 절지동물들밖에 없고, 다른 형제자매 또한 곤충, 양서류, 어류이기 때문에 포유류가 성장할 때 필요한 모유 등의 음식을 구하기 힘들었을 거에요. 그래서 샤무라는 포네우스에게 주기적으로 찾아가서 모유랑 고기 등의 음식 공양을 바치라고 명령했을 지도 몰라요. 포네우스는 소중한 ��� 아이를 뺏긴 것도 모자라서 50년동안 그 아이들을 위한 식량 조달원이 되었다니.

샤무라는 정말 나쁜 주교에요......🥹

(also as a note this early on Anthea, the Lamb, just assumes the twins are biologically Narinder's kits. The twins aren't actually blood related to him, but the lamb just took one look that first meeting after execution and assumed 'Yeah those two are his' and went with it. He's the twins' dad regardless though lol)

Narinder spent a lot of his time plucking mortals from the endless stream flowing into the afterlife, and having them tell the story of their deaths. Often they would be completely shocked, having died moments ago, but most comply when Narinder tells them its part of the requirement to pass onto the afterlife, a harmless lie to pass a few hours. In reality, Narinder was no more aware of what lay beyond the veil than anyone else. Death was and always will be an event horizon nothing returns from, revived souls entirely forgetting the afterlife.

Given thousands of years, he's heard quite a few stories. It's also a great way to get the news, and it was especially satisfying when one of his siblings disciples passed and he had a toy to play with. His favorites were always the bizarre and ridiculous deaths, as it should be no surprise the god of death appreciated a creative ending.

I love the Forneus and Narinder swap AU as a concept.

Big, Huge, Beautiful Goddess of Death. Seen as a mother to all who enters the afterlife. Welcome home. It’s nice to see you’re back!

The forbidden act that gets her imprisoned is a combination of things. Falling in love, getting into a relationship, getting pregnant, not accepting her husband’s MURDER, creating the resurrection ritual, making it possible for a mortal to be immortal.

Narinder is going through it. He falls in love with a different deity than his patron deity Shamura. He was Shamura’s most loyal disciple and witness. Until he fell in love and married their sibling Forneus. Shamura while fond of the cat would not stand for a mortal and a deity getting married and having kids. Shamura may have killed this AUs Narinder. Which causes Forneus to spiral and create forbidden ritual, ending in her imprisonment. Narinder blames himself heavily for what happened. His wife is imprisoned, he doesn’t get to help raise his kids. He just spends the rest of his immortal life wandering around selling things he finds.

Aym and Baal are a lot less sharp around the edges than canon. Being raised by Forneus and all. However this version of Forneus would teach them to fight, teach them to wield their magic they inherited from her. They are demigods after all. They become guides in the afterlife. Helping lost souls reach their destination. Usually their mother so she can send them to their new home. Some lost souls may be from those that have forcibly removed from their afterlife, like a resurrection spell, or forcing themselves out the theoretical door. Get your ass back inside the afterlife.

Forneus and the Lamb. Their relationship is very different than the canon lamb and Narinder. Forneus doesn’t want to sacrifice the lamb. She tells them outright that perhaps the only way to free her may be sacrificing themselves to her once they are powerful enough. But she doesn’t want to do that. She wants to find another way. And while she would rather not kill all her siblings, sadly their souls are connected to her chains. There is no saving her siblings like she can hopefully save the Lamb. (The only sibling she wants dead is Shamura, shocker)

The Lamb does end up finding another way. and she is freed without anyone dying. This way is probably the Lamb proposing the option of giving up the crown or them sharing the crown. Becoming twin deities of life and death.

Maybe giving the crown to Aym and Baal, and THEY become the twin deities of life and death. DECISIONS

What if instead of being resurrected and staying their age in the afterlife, the twins instead went back to the age they were when they were last alive (aka, lil babees)?

24. Narinder cares for the boys with all his heart, he just struggles to show it and purposely masked his care for the boys. I can’t say it because I’m currently making a small comic a little about this and I want to make a different one going more in depth about why Narinder is like this.

Okay so I both wanted a cool wallpaper and to imitate this scene in a comic art look. Even tho I kinda lost the plot on the comic look and ended up with more just an illustration. I want a cotl graphic novel is what I’m saying.
