I’m just as guilty of letting life take over and feeling guilty for missing conversations, trends, and notifications from all my precious vode. But imma uno reverse here because you use my own advice against me:

we love you, it’s amazing to be so engulfed in everyday life, I adore being able to be I contact with you whenever we have our down time. Growing up to adult can suck sometimes but that’s how the meiloorun rolls <3 as always take your time, mental health means the most. for when you’re ready and even if you’re not, I will always love seeing your art in any form just as much as when I can catch you online. Just known I appreciate YOU and who you are

This is me after coming back to Tumblr after a 2,5 week break that was supposed to only last 3 days

Hey hiii how are you all doing but seriously what year is it

I'm sort of alright, my brain's the usual mess, nothing out of the ordinary. I had intended to draw during my vacation but I had to catch up on so much adulting and then somehow depression and anxiety made it really really hard to come back here (due to previous experiences with social media). I don't know why because I love all of you and this place but somehow my brain was working against me (what's new).

I was super overwhelmed during my last workweek because I wanted to finish everything before my two weeks off, which I failed to do so guess who has been working during their vacation (Well of course I know him. He's me.). But now I've finally found the courage to return with like, 1,5 days off left before I have to get back to work, ahahaha classic Lupe #procrastinator

I seriously have no idea how I'm gonna catch up on 18 days of missed notifs, so I full heartedly apologise if I missed a message or tag, please feel free to tag me again if you think I should see/read something. I have no idea how active I'll be the upcoming weeks since I know work's gonna be a lot (my boss gave me all sorts of new responsibilities before the old ones are taken care of, so I have no idea how I'm gonna fit that into my workdays)

Also massive apologies to @eobe @aknightreaderr @writersnook11 for disappearing like that, and a forever thank you to @ghostymarni for trying to keep me sane (I would be saner if Bluesky let me DM you pictures but oh well)

I was smacked in the face with Inspiration™, so have a new clone OC!

This is Sergeant Bear (RC-2118), a commando medic with the 41st Corps. More about Bear below the cut!

Thanks to @orangez3st and @craziest-in-the-guild for listening to me yap and helping me figure this guy out!! 🥰

- Sergeant RC-2118, or Bear, is a Commando medic that's part of the 41st Corps

- He was primarily trained by Walon Vau on Kamino, and developed the personality to withstand Vau's methods (i.e., he's mean as hell)

- Though he's very capable as a Sergeant, he prefers his medical duties to his leading duties

- All of his original pod was killed on their first deployment. Bear suffers a lot of survivors guilt that only gets worse - every squad he's been placed with since has suffered at least one death after his arrival. He begins to get the reputation of a bad luck charm.

- Yoda and Luminara do their best to help him with this trauma and guilt, but it never quite works.

- Bear masks his insecurities and guilt by being loud, rowdy and rough with his brothers. He's the first to throw an insult or a punch and the last to give up an argument. He oozes confidence wherever he goes and can almost always get people to back down when he wants them to.

- He's very nearsighted, meaning he needs an enhanced HUD in his helmet and glasses when he's not wearing it. He wasn't born this way; he suffered a particularly bad series of hits to his head and his vision slowly degraded.

- Bear has a slower metabolism than the average commando, contributing to his bulkier build

- He tells people that he got his name because he fought a sand bear on Kallistas and won, but it's really because one of his pod brothers made fun of him for being as big and hairy as one.

- Bear is a strong believer in his Mandalorian heritage and culture and fully intends to assimilate himself to it once the war is over

- On that note, he tends to only associate with other commandos outside of duty. He finds there to be too much of a culture difference from commandos to regular troopers for his liking
