I suppose I still have to report when I see Taylor wearing the colors of the asexual pride flag, and she was still Bejeweled in purple, black, and silver this weekend after the show.

But, ultimately, all that matters is that she has found love. True love finally with Kansas City Ken. He may look like your friend's d bag brother who flirts with nerdy girls occasionally just to toy with them for his own amusement, but he's really the tender prince who flew to see her and stood where cameras could see him. sorry for being an aroace swiftie in your askbox but the post you reblogged about style and wildest dreams had an addition about champagne problems and I hope it’s ok if I ramble about how it’s such a perfectly aroace song (if it’s not or ends up too long feel free to ignore this)

so the whole idea of the song is this failed proposal with the man being super excited to propose and had his whole family there and everything the narrator kind of. Turned him down. It’s very clear the narrator doesn’t love him back like that.

there’s a part of the chorus (“Your mom's ring in your pocket/My picture in your wallet/Your heart was glass, I dropped it) the last line just sounds like this aromantic narrator is sort of like. Kinda blaming herself for this? (I didn’t get enough sleep if fellow swifties see this and I’m wrong don’t attack me)

and we’re not even talking about the bridge yet
