Total Solar Eclipse in Aries: Predictions

✰ my masterlist This eclipse season is highlighting themes of forgiveness, both towards others and towards ourselves. It's time to turn a new leaf, and to take responsibility for mistakes made within the past. Doing this will allow a particular area within your life to transform. In October 2023 it may have felt like you lost something. Whether that was a friend group, a career opportunity, or a romantic relationship depends on your chart. However, because this solar eclipse is conjuncting the North Node, it will feel as though you have gained something. Issues from October 2023 will find a resolution.

General predictions:

Taurus Full Moon Horoscopes

Who’s Impacted: EVERYONE, but esp. Taurus and the other fixed signs. 

Takeaway: An electrifying conclusion, shocking disruption, or groundbreaking culmination of the things you’ve been building since May 7, 2024.

     Friday’s full moon might just change everything. That’s right, the 11th full moon of 2024—this one in the fertile, stable, security-loving earth sign Taurus—is a big, loud, potentially disruptive full moon that wants you, me, and everyone else to wake up and do things differently. Yes, Taurus is the sign of exaltation for the Moon (meaning the Moon really loves being in the fixed sign), but you shouldn’t expect this full moon to be nice and easy. 

     Why? Well, the 2024 Taurus full moon is conjoining rabble-rouser Uranus (also in Taurus), which is just about to perfect its headline-making opposition to the Sun in Scorpio. Tbh, I feel like we’ve been seeing the effects of this full moon / Uranus-Sun opposition play out in politics, with the recent Trump cabinet nomination of Matt Gaetz (a Taurus) for Attorney General. That nomination has been deemed “controversial,” “shocking,” and poetically likened to a “thunderclap”—all of which are astro-SEO keywords for Uranus. (Btw, Uranus is the planet of shock, awe, controversy, and unexpected news.) 

     But there’s another shocking element to this full moon that has nothing to do with politics: it is the LAST TIME we will see Uranus conjoining a full moon in Taurus in our lifetimes. Why? Because next year, Uranus moves into Gemini. It moves back into Taurus in Nov. 2025, and stays there until April 2026, but we won’t see a Uranus in Taurus conjoining a Taurus full moon again in 84 years!  Ditto for the dreamy sextile from Neptune in Pisces and the loose trine being made to the full moon from Pluto in Capricorn. 

     Pluto enters Aquarius FOR GOOD on Nov. 19, thus marking the official 20-year foray into robo-land and AI rulership. (Just kidding. I hope.) Tips on Capricorn & Aquarius Seasons, Plus More About Me: Let's Chat

TLDR: Vertex, Solar Returns, twin flames, “empty” houses, 12th & 10th Houses, Pluto, Lilith.

Capricorn Season was so grounding and inspirational that I instinctively shamaned into and explored within the Earth; the depths, the mids, and the heights of my life. As an earthseed (not a starseed), with Virgo Sun / Moon conjunct (as close as possible; thoughts and feelings aligned) within my 6th House (day-to-day routines, overall health) stellium (grouping of planets conferring amplified traits), this season tends to do that for me. (An earthseed is a person who was created out of lifetimes spent only on Earth, and a starseed is a person who was created out of lifetimes spent solely, or partly, on other planets).

Aquarius (air sign) Season now, is more about assessing how I'm going to think and feel going forward, with the shadow work I find myself amidst… It tends to be a less emotive season for me, so it provides a respite from intensity; a return to my native groundedness, and yet, more opportunities for social explorations; Aquarius loves networking and organizing social groups, particularly for socio-political causes. Aquarius has good intuition in regards to situations such as the recent Miami mall aliens reports. Move over, tunnel-vision goats, those charismatic space hippies are taking over.

My primary natal Aquarius is Dark Moon Lilith in the 12th House of the esoteric, illusions / delusions / addictions, intuition, and secondary is South Node; angle holding past (mysterious, for me, with the 12th House involved in my primary Aquarius placement) energies of this lifetime.

Capricorn (ambitiously driven) energy is mysterious for me; neither found in my natal chart even through Arabic or Hermetic Lots / Parts, nor in asteroids, or dwarf planets which I have had the opportunity to study as of yet. I also haven't looked into fixed stars yet, though I know that Vega is in Capricorn, so I have a new avenue of exploration. I feel comfortable with this distant energy, and yet still curious. That’s because, when we have a lack of certain signs, or “empty” houses in our charts, it’s because those tend to generally be areas where we have less, or no difficulties in life. Although, we are still effected by associated energies through transits. That will be Pluto, which is native to Capricorn (practical, grounded, achievements focused) and also the 10th House (career, Dharma), which has regular association with both Pluto and Capricorn.

My Solar Return chart (opportunities for personal growth and fun, from birthday to birthday) for the year has Pluto (time differentials within shadow work, spiritual leaders & the masses) and my Vertex in Capricorn in the 10th House. I look forward to exploring this practical and ambitious, cardinal (beginnings) earth (grounded) sign closer. I will enjoy this year of both learning, teaching, and progressing on my path.

The Vertex is an angle which holds (and sprinkles some of it's energy within the houses on either side of it) cosmic energy which feels fated, and is often associated with romance.

Along with my current personal transit of Pluto opposition Venus (complicated romantic situations; commonly leading the inexperienced into believing in "twin flames") until the autumn, this should make the year interesting. I have enough experience in romantic or possible romantic situations by this point, that I will not become caught in any such energy vampiric situations as I have in the past with soulmates. If you’re in such a situation, I cannot stress enough the importance of a regular practice of cord removal and dissolving. This is necessary, at least for a period of time, whether or not we are still in contact with the person (or people, if having had multiple such complicated entanglements). I have no concerns for how I will handle this, as I’ve healed past my previous soulmate relationships, and never bought the “twin flames” scam which so many cults and cult-like groups push.

Sun in Aquarius

January 20, 2024 - February 18, 2024

This is about to be a monumental, life changing time for the collective. Everybody is going to be working towards innovation, change (maybe even destruction), and advancement. The conjunction to Pluto from 29° to 0° will be pivotal. You may be feeling more carefree, more open, and more aligned in general. If you’re not thinking big already you need to start! My main concern is for the people who are doing too many things at once. Hone your attention on the one/few things you find most important and give that all your energy. Aquarius season will be pushing out the old, and coming in with the new.

Election Day in the US today, an event that has the whole world watching since power (Pluto) on a global scale lies so disproportionately in the hands of the US government. Pluto is currently hanging out in the last little stretch of the last degree of Capricorn, and when it enters Aquarius again in a couple weeks, it will be the third and final re-entrance (following some chaotic retrogrades!) to Pluto’s new zodiac domain ♒️ for the next 18 1/2 years!

I also find it very fitting that the Moon is in Capricorn ♑️ today, placing an emotional spotlight on topics of authority and corruption, and probably giving many people thoughts that it all feels too close to home. 🌙 I meant what I said in this former post, that I have come to associate all outer planets in Capricorn, starting with the ones that were big in the charts of us Pluto in Scorpios/millennials, with various corporate interests and developments, on a world scale. And PLUTO in Capricorn has felt like the big summarization of it all; specifically it has involved much revealing of corruptions that have accompanied this corporate rise of power. 💀

Pluto’s aspects today also make a ton of sense to me given the current events! Pluto is still tightly opposite Mars (ppl are riled up! 😤), but also trine Uranus (that’s the hope of change in the direction of progress!) and in harmonious aspects (sextile and trine) with the Nodes “of fate”. I’m also noticing that the Scorpio Sun ♏️ today has only a trine to Saturn. In the sign of power ♏️ that Pluto rules, the Sun is casting a light on new structures and authorities. 🪐

I also checked the astrology of presidential Inauguration Day in January 2025. Found PLUTO IN AQUARIUS tightly conjunct the SUN 🌞, freshly in Aquarius.

Don’t underestimate how incredibly significant Pluto is, especially on a societal or global scale. The final frontier of sorts, nothing ever transforms in our world without astrology that shows Pluto’s involvement.

Pluto in Scorpio gen-

I think it’s largely gonna be up to us to try to clean up the mess from Pluto in Capricorn. While corporations ran wild with the most insane power they ever had during Pluto in Capricorn, I also see that Pluto over those years has helped to reveal what was being buried from us, making the general public aware about all this corporate corruption.

I hope that Pluto in Aquarius, the sign of society’s water bearer, can ultimately help pave the way to societies where the power is at least a little more in the hands of the people. And we need the influence of people with Pluto at home♏️ in their charts to achieve this (the generation also known as millennials that are getting old enough to become politicians or hold other high ranking positions in society).

I think it’s really interesting that there was such an emphasis on other outer planets in Capricorn during the Pluto in Scorpio period when millennials were born. Neptune was in Capricorn over the vast majority of Pluto in Scorpio, and Uranus was in Capricorn for over half of it. Saturn in Capricorn also happened during about the middle range of Pluto in Scorpio, and Saturn’s meeting with Neptune and/or Uranus during these few years provided another influence to increase the desire and advantage of people in this generation to change the structures we have known.

Maybe all this understanding of Capricorn’s influence with generational planets that reflect society, can help those of us with Pluto in Scorpio to remedy the mess that Pluto in Capricorn made society so aware of.

Pluto in Aquarius will square the Plutos of all of us with Pluto in Scorpio at some time during its transit over the next 19 years. But no seriously substantial transformation in society has taken place without people being pushed to action by *tense* dynamics.

Get ready to be the change you want to see, fellow Pluto in Scorpios/millennials! And screw anyone saying we don’t have what it takes! The planet that transforms societal corruption is AT HOME in our charts! And I already see the ways millennials are not only helping to transform society, but the ways that so many are transforming their family lines; which is where it all starts. There’s a reason we’re called “The therapy generation”. It definitely seems to me that we are the first generation to put as much deliberation as we have towards generational trauma, and how to heal it. ❤️‍🩹

How to Survive 2024 Mercury Retrograde in Virgo & Leo

     There’s a decision every astrologer must make in their forecasts: to be real, to be Pollyanna, or to be doom-and-gloom. I aim to be real and proactive, with a tinge of Pollyanna optimism about astrological transits, because I don’t believe astrology is here to ruin or run your life. In fact, I believe that when armed with the themes and potential struggles of planetary transits, you can better work with them, you can use them to better your life. But above all else, I believe YOU have power over your own life. I don’t believe the “stars” dictate your decisions anymore than your Mom does (unless you’re a Cancer, of course). 

     That said, I don’t want you to fear this (or any) Mercury Retrograde. This is a transit that happens three times a year; which means it’s a normal part of the astrological cycle. That also means that it isn’t something to fear, fret over, or fuss about. (I mean, it’s happening in Virgo, so there will likely be some fussing—but you know what I mean.) Will it be a little messy? Probably. Is it still an opportunity? Abso-fucking-lutely. So, let’s unpack why this is, shall we?

Mercury Retrograde in Virgo: An OS Overhaul

     Virgo is the sign of precision, detail, and efficiency. It’s like that diligent system admin who’s always optimizing, debugging, and fine-tuning every aspect of the operating system of your life. When Mercury is in Virgo, it’s like having a high-speed processor that makes everything run seamlessly. But during Mercury retrograde? It can feel like your OS decides to install a series of untested updates. They can wreak havoc on your once-flawless system—if you ignore the notifications blaring in your face about upgrading. (That’s mostly for me, because I’m the WORST at upgrading my apps.) 

     How to avoid havoc? First, run a diagnostic check. Just as you would run a diagnostic on a glitchy OS, take time to assess where things are going haywire. Identify areas of your life that need extra attention and care. If things feel overwhelming or convoluted, it’s probably because you’re trying to run too many programs. So, close all those browser windows and clear the cache. Your mind can quickly get bogged down with too many details, too many projects, too many thoughts. Clear the mental cache by taking breaks, slowing down, or simply stepping away from overwhelming tasks. Fresh eyes can solve many problems. 

   When Mercury Retrograde hits Virgo, perfectionism panic is practically inevitable. Your inner critic might go into overdrive, spotting flaws everywhere, even where none exist. (Olympian Caeleb Dressel, who has natal Moon & Mercury in Virgo, talked about his OWN experience with this inner critic.) This hyper-awareness can lead to analysis paralysis, where decisions you usually make in a snap suddenly feel like life-or-death scenarios. And don’t even get me started on tech tantrums—your meticulously planned schedules and lists could go haywire thanks to those pesky tech glitches. But remember: it’s not all doom and gloom. This is a cosmic nudge to let go of the need for everything to be perfect. Because spoiler alert: it never will be.

here are the next few astrological events i would consider extra serious, in case you like to mark your calendars or be otherwise prepared.

pluto into aquarius for real - i say for real because it's the last time we will see the ingress from capricorn to aquarius in any of our lifetimes, after much retrograding back and forth. global themes of technology humanitarianism, and perhaps revolution come to the fore in ways we've previously never even dreamed of.

mercury retrograde - the last retrograde of mercury for 2024 is ensconced in sagittarius. honesty is the way to go. people who don't know or think about astrology are going to be accidentally blabbing, even when they mean to be discreet. so keep your ears open and if you don't want the truth to get out about some matter just stay silent instead. no facades succeed in this time.

mars retrograde - less frequent than other retrogrades, the retrograde of this old malefic can be hard - especially around the station points. above all stay safe. also stay calm and stay kind! not everyone will do so - that just means it's extra needed, it doesn't mean we should all join the ranks of such people.

neptune direct - this happens practically immediately after the retrograde of mars aforementioned so be wary of deceit and manipulation and avoid doing such things yourself. be also very careful with substance abuse or even overindulgence and under no circumstances should you (ever but especially now) get in a vehicle intoxicated or with someone driving who is. maximize the good vibes of it by recording and being aware of your dreams, and daydreams. there will be messages in there almost for sure.

mercury direct - normally i like to do the mercury retrograde/direct stations in separate posts but so much happens in such a brief period that it's not super practical to do so this time. just as with the retrograde station, watch for freudian slips and accidental blurting of secrets. don't let it be you, and get what info you need when it happens to others. honesty is the best policy here but silence is also golden.

jupiter square saturn - kind of a difficult square for the yuletide season. this is a very social square. not in the sense of being particularly extroverted, but in that it won't happen so much on the personal level but within our tribes/communities/other social groups. the need to expand and the need to constrict must somehow be reconciled. it will take more than one person to figure out, but we can each do our part.

chiron direct - just before the dawn of the new year, the proverbial wounded healer resumes prograde forward motion. this station may bring healing revelations, new friends and helpful community members, or just a renewed motivation for healing and rebuilding after any traumas you've sustained, no matter how old or how new they were.
