Ive been loving the tags on this and I want to expand on this animation wise (don't hold me to this im bad at keeping project promises) but I would've loved to have seen an Allura who through the help of supportive people is able to overcome her complicated feelings regarding keith and tries to show him that she wants him to stay with voltron and not go to the Blade of Marmora, who she has grown to trust but knows through knowing them and knowing keoth that this will only result in a bad situation for him. Keith who is convinced that no one could want him there refuses, insisting this is the only way for them all to move forward. At this point in time, Allura and Keith have trained a lot together, they have done sparring matches before but usually to train their skills and over bets and wagers. Allura sets a wager: they will spar, no rules, if she wins, Keith stays with them, and if Keith wins then he is free to go to the Blade of Marmora without argument.

The fight is brutal. Allura fights with a beam, Keith his BoM sword. Its brutal, they both fight harder than they ever have in a spar before. They both lose, and sit there, unsure how to move forward... episode end

I have the dumbest fucking idea for a scene of like Pidge deciding to train with Keith and being like wtf is up with these acrobatics and him offering to teach her and her having to admit she can't do a handstand or cartwheel cause she was always too 'busy' (scared) to learn and wouldn't even let Matt teach her so Keith starts with basics teaching her how to do a handstand and it's just their shenanigans for the next 10 mins of Pidge stalling, Keith telling her he's not gonna drop her cause she's like a bag of grapes after she insinuates he can't carry her weight and then Pidge going for it and yelling the whole time as Keith catches her legs and having to tell her to put her hands back on the ground and Shiro walks in but decides not his monkeys not his circus and walks back out

This is an au of if their outfits had not been so obviously the colour of their lions and if they’d eventually transitioning to something that fits more with their lions colour palette

I decided to have Keith be a lot more practical for living out in hot weather with a lot lighter clothing cause I don’t think he can be bothered with heatstroke (and yes Lance makes a wide variety of jokes from ‘glad we’ve got amelia earhart onside’ to ‘didn’t realise we needed help escaping from an Indiana Jones character’ or ‘hey what National Park were you a ranger at’ and finally ‘I think Laura Dern wants her outfit back’

Pidge I wanted to go for a more teal which is more in keeping with her brother’s palette but as @seypia pointed out her brother actually at some point wears in the flashback so that’s what I tried to go for

I’m having the og blue of Lance’s shirt be a more reddish purple, where its clearly pointing towards a more Keith colour like he’s trying to peacock as, rather than dressing more as himself

And Hunk covering up his more prominent yellow colour in his palette with a more violet colour, a much softer colour that would blend more into the background of the show as he’s unsure about this whole idea

I may do one of these in the shack with Shiro’s outfit change but this is what I have for now

Ik it doesn't align with canon but I do just see Keith as someone who if he is not doing kick flips in the Castle training room just conks out.

Like he eats his food, he does his missions, he does his probably 3-4 hour training a day and then he sits down and passes out snoring immediately.

And the problem with that is anytime someone needs to talk to him has to hope he didn't sit down on an excursion around the many layered and roomed castleship cause he could be asleep on a fucking rafter in the belly of the ship and it's gonna take them a solid couple hours to find him.

Love the idea of Veronica getting the opportunity to sort of parallel Shiro with the MFE pilots and I wish there'd been more travelling back to Earth content to see what else occurred when team Voltron disappeared from Earth.

Like imagine like 3 of your classmates disappear after washing out of a class and your school is being super weird about it all and then your mentor ends up being the sister of one of the people that disappeared. Do you talk about it? Do you mention it? Would she?

Like just an episode every couple of seasons that just explores the situation on earth for a while as we see things change rather than like just towards the beginning of the team getting back to Earth. Keep us linked to the stakes.
