A Tup from @trudemaethien’s excellent fic Edeemi, Baby, One More Time that I drew back in May! I didn’t have a Star Wars tumblr at the time and wasnt planning on posting it anywhere so I forgot about it until now, but I had such a fun time playing around with lighting effects and his expression!

I really love their mer universe and I’m especially fond of Tup’s POV in this fic. It’s such a good job of expressing the confusion and frustration of communication barriers and reasonable, best-intent misunderstandings between all of them, while still leaning into the positive aspects of discovering the world and representing it from slightly different perspective than people normally take 10/10 highly recommended

lord its so dark in here the sahara desert of tsaritsa content you are like a shining oasis. your characterisation of her compels me & mihoyo would be hard pressed to top it imo.!! caaaaan i humbly request yr thoughts on her first meeting w a reader of any kind, or maybe even multiple kinds (sagau, sagau god au, isekai, etc) if you so desire...

it really is like a desert here. being the fan of a character we aren't getting until the last damn nation is driving me up a wall but i will persevere bc if nothing else i support morally bankrupt women in media. we r in a severe drought over here but i do my best. unfortunately nothing i say is ever coherent so pull out your translation notes its abt 2 be messy

also this got out of hand but thats bc first meetings w the tsaritsa are tricky to write + a LOT of her characterization lies in deeper exploration then just surface level yknow...NOT A DIG AT YOU this is just my excuse for rambling. gently pats the tsaritsa she can hold so much complexity i do not have the word count to delve into it completely :]

gonna talk cult au for a bit here though because that's 99% of my content. and honestly? she thrives in sub au's of the cult au like villain au + imposter au. it's basically made for her. i mean, early days, the imposter au had been going around for a little while but one of the first few ideas was the Fatui taking reader in so like. it kinda technically actually was. pretty sure cult au Tsaritsa popped up because of the imposter au. a lot of it's writers kinda left though which. man am i getting old or.

anyway.

there isn't much of a chance her first impression is all that positive. at best it's usually neutral, imo, but rarely if ever positive. specifically because i view the Tsaritsa as someone who isn't as fanatical as most of the acolytes typically are towards the creator. she's not exactly going to worship the ground you walk on unlike a certain geo lizard. which is partially why i think she thrives in the sub au's i mentioned.

imposter au, for example. she meets you at your lowest. there's no gaudy extravagance or pampering from the acolytes waiting for you because your own acolytes have turned on you. for all intents and purposes you aren't a "god" at all. which is why i don't think she meshes well with normal cult au reader. the Fatui are made up of outcasts, basically, and imposter au slots right in just perfectly. you're weak, at your lowest, when you meet the Fatui in the imposter au. and the Fatui can help you, too.

a mutual exchange, really. the Tsaritsa sees a tool she can use to one up the rest of the nations and especially Archons, and she has no qualms about you using her and the Fatui in turn. you both want something out of it, after all. whether you just want to be safe from the rest of the acolytes, or you want revenge, or whatever else..she'll give you the power to fulfill it, and she gains the strongest piece on the chessboard when all is said and done.

the best way i can describe the first meeting is "practical", i suppose. she sees an opportunity in you. the ultimate gamble. because if she "saves" you, and you dont trust anyone else because they tried to kill you, well..she holds all the cards, doesn't she?

but the Tsaritsa, imo, is just as capable of being just as fanatical towards you as anyone else. she just won't worship you as the creator. but as yourself? clawing your way back to your divine power and taking back what belongs to you? the Tsaritsa is, to me, a character who's character flourishes in long-term fics more because she changes a LOT between "just met reader" and after having been with reader for some time. she's practically apathetic at the beginning but a lot of her character, in my characterization, shines through LONG after the first meeting.

I've been thinking of that one piece you did with Faux putting on the Cyberhead esp what u put in the tags abt the idea that Faux comes back as Red postgame. I usually go with the theory/HC that an ai was made for red but your idea is super interesting.

like it would make sense for Faux to go by Red now bc outside of the law/police force the BRC, DJ Cyber/Futurism and the other rival crews most likely hate his guts now ( along with like the civilians that had to witness the events of the storymode ) i'd love to learn more abt this au/headcanon btw!

eyyy! i also share the hc that red comes back with an ai, its pretty neat! i kinda swap between the red ai hc and the red!faux one to be honest

i started thinking more about faux and just his overall situation and read waaay too deep into his character/actions so i became this while thinking about the hc/au

ill slap it under a readmore, unsure if its considered spoilers but it is post-game

so the idea is that after the game escher finds faux's head/body and put him back together. the two talk it out, and he gives faux the option to start new, much like how he did with red earlier in the game. knowing this is his last chance to finally get rid of his roots; to finally get away from the police, he takes it.

knowing that everyone hates him or is after him he dons a fake cyberhead from escher and starts a new identity. he hides away from everyone and never talks, not wanting to get close to anyone and be betrayed again (or to get involved with others, he doesnt need another target on his back). he slowly changes into a person who enjoys being a writer for the sake of it again like he used to, the chains of his past slowly coming off of him.

does he end up running into BRC or the other gangs later on? possibly, im unsure on how that would play out, although he might be given a chance if he seemed genuine in wanting to/has changed. (thats assuming they figure out its faux in the first place)

As much as I'm sworn to my oath, i am still human. You've been teasing me all morning, my sweet prince. I grow restless. You followed me to this secluded part of the castle and began trying to get a hand under my armor as well hear the guards rounding the corner. We dodge behind an old tapesty.I clasp my hand over your mouth and press you into an alcove in the wall with my body. After they pass, I notice you rubbing yourself against my thigh. Without removing my hand from your mouth, i start nuzzling your neck, taking little nibbles and licks. You start squirming and grabbing onto me as i use my other hand to wander across your chest and down to cup you between your legs and squeeze.

Ah well what's the point of having such a lovely devoted knight if I can't tease them a little. Truly it should be considered an honor to be the object of my attention! I am nothing if not a creature of indulgence, so when my little invitations are not acted upon I decide to take the initiative.

My familiarity with the castle and your patrol route make it easy to corner you somewhere more private. Doffing your armor is time consuming, and a half-naked knight is not exactly inconspicuous, so I settle for snaking a hand between the plates to reach whatever cloth and skin I can. In my haste I barely notice the approaching round of guards until there's a hand on my mouth and I'm pressed between the cobblestone walls and your metal frame. Vigilance and quick reflexes are attributes any competent knight should have after all.

The initial suprise, and then the humor surrounding our cliche position, quickly make way for a reinvigorated flare of desire. Even through the hard planes of your armor, how can one not appreciate your imposing physique? To have the length of your body wholly cover my own and to be protectively bracketed by your strong arms. I can barely wait for the footsteps to pass before I start to move against your thigh. Small shifts at first, but the friction feels too good not to move with more purpose.

When you first started to shift to the crook of my neck I felt a little indignation that you kept your hand in place. But with each nibble and lick I shudder, and the only thing keeping every pleased noise I make from echoing in the chamber is that damned hand. With words and lips no longer at my disposal I try to make my appreciation for your attention known in other ways. I shift my head to the side as much as possible to give you better access, while one of my own hands finds it's way up the nape of your neck and into your hair, alternating between pressing you closer and gently grasping at the strands in encouragement. I'm still unsure of just how much you're able to feel underneath the armor and the padding, but I still seek to caress the planes of your body, settling finally on your hip to give my grinding movements a little more leverage.

Your own hand wandered down my chest, rising and falling with each shuddering breath. Your other hand is not enough to muffle the gasping moan I let out in response to the warmth suddenly covering my cunt and the upward press of fingers. If your gauntlet was removed you'd be able to feel the wet spot that has managed to seep past my fine cloths. After that it takes little time for each thrust of my hips against you hand to become more and more frantic until I'm collapsed against you trembling.

It's takes a couple beats to recuperate, but I remove your hand from my mouth and take it gently in one of my own, delicately kissing your wrist in gratitude. Shifting then to cup your face, placing sporadic pecks before finally kissing your lips. While I am quite satisfied, there is something else I desire from you. Such an adoring knight should have their efforts rewarded, and I am generous when I wish to be. I shift a hand to settle to the straps securing your codpiece, looking for affirmation to continue.
