my partner picks us up chipotle on his way home on fridays, but when i ask for a burrito he has a tendency to either misread or just mentally bluescreen while ordering and come home with two bowls instead. similar mix-ups happen with sides. which has led me—with his full support and encouragement—to communicate my order in increasingly creative/deranged ways

went to the river again this morning, it's my new favorite place

#i know the second and fourth ones are absurdly dark and the lighting is bad😔#it was really early when I took the first one and the lighting was pretty #and then I got distracted by the joys of beautiful nature and walking with my coffee for two hours #and then it got super cloudy and gray and dull out so my other pics suck :) ❤️#tay's tag #I do really like the first one though. it reminds me of my papaw's house.#and the printed photos somehow end up way better than the ones I directly upload via SD card?#so I try to print my one favorite photo from each outing because otherwise I'd just hoard film and never actually use it.#I need to set rules for myself to actually enjoy the things that I bought 😭#pros: I'm great at saving money and spending responsibly. cons: I got TOO good at it and now my therapist tells me to chill out.#but anyways it was really nice.#there were a few boaters out on the water but it was suuuuper empty overall.

YES! this is pretty similar to Apt 212 by @the-scriptress (they're coworkers AND neighbors and I'm truly obsessed with this fic, I read it all in one night, and it has sly and all-knowing manager Solidad!!!). So there's a fic rec.

But also, it's just such a good concept as a whole??? I feel like May and Drew's banter translates so well to all sorts of AUs. They have the range!!!! Office AUs especially, I'm surprised there's as few of them as there are. Drew leaving sticky-note rose origami for May, Solidad teasing Drew about it, May seeming kind of ditzy at first but then really finding her place with the company over time, Gary and Ash's disruptive office prank wars, like it all just falls so perfectly into place honestly??? I need more office AUs 😭 it works SO WELL
