I finally got around to watching the clone wars so here are some Ahsoka and Anakin headcanons that wont leave my brain

They both steal each other's stuff and complain when they catch the other one doing it 

As Anakin’s hair grows longer he finds himself looking for hair wraps or something to push it back 

And he stumbles on Ahsoka's stash he borrows them mostly when she’s off on a mission so she won’t complain 

But she suspects him of doing so cause they’re never in the correct spot he also steals some of her simpler hand wraps when he’s training 

Ahsoka's just as bad tho she’ll steal Anakin’s cloaks and shirts all the time cause for some reason the council failed to give her comfortable clothes  

It all comes to a head when Ahsoka is debriefing the council and Anakin and she stops and goes “Is that my head wrap?” 

The change of topic is so abrupt that no one reacts for a hot second 

And then Anakin goes into full-on defensive mode like “What? No your device must be defective cause this isn’t yours” 

Which Ahsoka calls him out because “Jedi’s don’t lie so just come clean sky guy I know that mine. And are those my kriffing hand wraps?! Take those off you’re gonna mess them up!” 

Anakin is still defending himself and Obi-Wan is stepping in scolding them for using this line for their petty and selfish arguments  

And then Anakin says “Wait snips is that my cloak” “Don’t change the subject just cause you got caught” “No no you can’t talk about getting caught you little hypocrite that’s my cloak!” 

Obi-Wan is still chiming in half-heartedly but he knows better than to stop a full-on argument between those two 

Especially when they’re throwing each other words back at them like “I thought you said I should keep warm” “And I thought you said I need a hair wrap with all this hair” 

The argument only ends cause Windu threatens to hang up the com 

After the debriefing ends Anakin calls Ahsoka back and the argument starts right back up again 

Ahsoka always gets ready with her music playing 

And Anakin in true big brother fashion doesn’t want Ahsoka to know he likes her music so instead he’ll just turn on their version of shazam and stands by the speaker in what he thinks is a normal fashion 

It always goes something like this “Master what are you doing?” “What do you mean snips I’m not doing anything” “Oh so you’re just standing in my doorway with your device on for no reason” “Yep” “Okay when well have fun”

And in bratty little sister fashion she turns off her music and lights and leaves him in the doorway 

Later on she makes a playlist of all his favorite songs and sends a link to it 

All she hears is a grumbled “thank you” from the other room 

Anakin also plays his music out loud sometimes and it took a small amount of time to realize the songs Ahsoka complains about the most are her favorites 

He adds them to their shared playlist and ignores her when she plays those songs more 

Over time they make a lot of joined playlists

Some to work out and train to, some to hype them up before a mission, some to wind down after a mission, some to play when they have nightmares 

It’s something that they both enjoy more than they probably should 

Obi-Wan jokes that some of those playlists will be the death of him 

Ahsoka runs abnormally hot to the point where she could wear shorts in winter and Anakin runs cold enough to be confused for a corpse  

Obi-Wan Padme and Ahsoka all agree that he needs to get checked out cause no way is it healthy to be that cold 

They're both fine in their rooms where Ahsoka can blast the AC and Anakin can turn the heater up as high as he needs 

But the common room is where the bickering happens such as “Jesus snips I didn’t realize we lived on Hoth” or “I’m so sorry master that every room can feel like Mustafar” 

I also know that they both get nightmares like Earth-shaking soul shattering nightmares 

Some where they get abandoned some when they can’t save each other in time and some where they have to kill each other  

Not a lot of words need to be said when Ahsoka wakes Anakin out of a dead sleep with tears in her eyes or when Ahsoka wakes up cause Anakin is checking in on her for the third time that night 

They both just grab as many pillows and blankets as they can carry so they can make the world's best pillow fort 

Obi-Wan has grown accustomed to finding them cuddled up on the floor while the credits of a shitty old movie roll in the background  

When they get older I feel like they unlock the childhood nickname status 

Don't get me wrong snips and sky guy are their normal nicknames and will never go away but those are mostly used when they’re out in public or on the battlefield 

When they’re around people they trust like Obi-Wan and Padme you’ll hear questions like “You good Ani?” or “Be safe Soka”

Took me some time to create their titles (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠) I'll probably start posting resident headcanons- basically how they act around the mansion and stuff ┐⁠(⁠‘⁠～⁠`⁠;⁠)⁠┌

For the credits for each of the character's creators, I'm not entirely sure that these are the actual creators (especially for Jeff's character) I only based it on Google results and other sources like reddit and Tumblr (⁠◠⁠‿⁠・⁠)⁠—⁠☆

Anyways, I'll probably be more busy in the next few days- school is coming up soon so there is a chance I might accidentally abandon this acc for some time (⁠⸝⁠⸝⁠⸝⁠´⁠꒳⁠`⁠⸝⁠⸝⁠⸝⁠) hope y'all enjoy this post!

So I've had this idea swimming in my head for a bit and I considered doing a fic about it but honestly I just want to do a headcanon write up for now at least. So narumitsu Franmaya post SOJ kids!

So I think after SOJ the elders in Kurain are going to start really getting on Maya's ass about having a baby. And it's getting really annoying. She been dating/married to Franziska for years at this point but I think they're solidly convinced she's having her "lesbian phase" and that once Pearl is of age and doesn't need looking after anymore and she's officially the Master of Kurain she's going to find herself a husband and settle down.

Maya fucking hates this. She wants them to properly recognise her relationship and while her relationship with the entire concept of having kids is very complicated, she doesn't want Channeling to die out so she condededs that fine, she'll have the damn kids but Franziska is being their mom.

Franziska has her own complicated ideas around legacy but is equally getting annoyed but she recognises this is important for Maya's culture and she doesn't dislike kids in general, she's been a good Tante to Trucy and while her relationship with Pearl is rocky she's thinks she's done a perfect job being her quasi step mother.

So they concoct a plan.

One day they sit Miles, Phoenix and Trucy down and say they're going to try IVF and they ask Miles to be the donor because in the absence of true male Von Karma DNA, honourary Von Karma DNA will do the job. Phoenix is completely on board because hes been listening to Maya complain about this for literal years and wants it to be over and done with for her. Trucy finds the idea hilarious because it promises to make their already insane family tree even more convoluted and she thrives in that chaos. She's also very aware that's she's presently the baby of the family and is a bit worried about her dad's empty nesting. Miles is honoured to be asked.

They do the thing. Then a few months later the Wright-Edgeworth's get a panicked phone call. Maya has just had a check up and has found out that she is pregnant with triplets. But one of them is male. 3 kids was going to be a lot anyway but there's enough people in Kurain that they can make it work. But Maya is very very aware of how weird the village is around men and really doesn't want her kid raised in that environment. And Phoenix and Miles, bleeding heart chronic adopters that they are agree that they'll raise the boy and Maya and Franziska can raise the girls in Kurain. So begins the chaos.

Miles does an insane amount of prep for the baby. He reads literally every parenting book he can get his hands on. He might as well have an honourary degree in child development after the amount of research he does. He calls up old contacts from universities he's taught at to get access to papers, he complies reading lists, he makes binders full of note, he goes completely overboard because he's going to raise this kid right. (I honestly think he did this when he first became involved in Trucy's life too but those stages of development are vastly different to that of a baby)

Franziska, does not. She is convinced she knows everything she could possibly need to in order to do this perfectly. Pearl turned out fine. These kids will too. Miles keeps sending her papers he's read and she will skim them, states that she already knew all of that and tell him he's over reacting. However she does do a good number of therapy sessions in preparation to get her head straight about what stuff Manfred did that was good and what stuff he did that was bad.

Phoenix is panicking and being way way too attentive of Maya. He's calling every few hours to make sure she's ok. Not because he's worried about the babies, though he is, but because his best friend/kid sister is carrying 3 human beings and he's terrified she's going to get hurt. He will cross the bridge of raising them when he gets there, he did fine with Trucy and he's kind of a dad by nature at this point.

Maya Hates being pregnant. She despises it. She can't do all the cool active stuff she's used to, Nick is being overbearing as well as all the other general stuff that sucks with being pregnant. She is not enjoying this and is actually kinda glad it's triplets because that means she has 2 female heirs an she never has to do this ever again. She is however also not stressing about raising them. She has some basics covered like making damn sure no one pits them against eachother and that they can chose among the pair of them who's going to inherit her title when they're good and ready. They'll need a certain level of spiritual training obviously but she's determined to give them as normal a life as possible and hopefully when they're old enough have them travel a lot with her and Franziska while Franziska is working.

This is a more complicated other headcanon but I think this is around the time Trucy starts properly coming to terms with the fact that the Gramaryes suck ass and she doesn't actually want anything to do with them. So she's kind of doing some soul searching and decides to take a gap year after school to figure out if she wants to be a magician or not by trying to define herself by something else. This gap year ends up manifesting by being an investigative assistant full time at the WAA while also trying out literally everything else she's ever had a passing interest in. She's figuring herself out during this time basically.

The babies come. Nick is incredibly overbearing during the labor. Franziska is just focusing on helping Maya through it and Miles is stressed the fuck out that this is happening and real.

And so Richard (after gumshoe), Sakura (named after the Pink Princess), and Brunhilde (named by Franziska because it means Armoured for battle which Maya thought sounded cool as hell) are born. The elders are very upset about how the names don't follow traditional fey naming convention but Maya doesn't care. She wants these kids to grow up knowing the exist outside of the village and giving Brunhilde a German name makes is even clearer that Franziska is her mother and nothing is changing that fact.

Maya and Franziska have a basically uneventful time raising the girls. The elders have been prepared for this for years. Maya goes by Mom/Mommy, Fran goes by Mama. As they planned they take them all over the globe with Frans work with Interpol. Maya gets to call it a holiday regularly and fobs off the elders by saying that they'll be better trained by being more worldly. She'll look after the kids as Fran works and when they go back to Kurain they switch and Fran will take cases in the japanifonia prosecutors office when the elders want to train them. They're a well oiled machine. Brunhilde ends up taking more after Fran and Sakura takes more after Miles. Brunhilde is actually really good at channeling but decides to let Sakura take the title because she enjoys it more. The elders are actually pretty glad about this because Brunhilde is absolutely terrifying. She got the Edgeworth glare which combined with supernatural powers makes her seem like something out of the Omen. Franziska and Maya couldn't be more proud. Sakura is a little more mild mannered but given her parents it's not by much. She's still a forceful presence but she's just typically a lot more easy going. She is genuinely passionate as hell about Channeling, she got Maya and Miles' autism and it's becomes her special interest. She's studious and devoted and really cares about what she does. She ends up doing a ton to revolutionise channeling when she becomes master and basically brings it into a new golden age. The two of them are close and their parents make certain to makes sure there's absolutely no bad blood there.

Miles and Phoenix have a slightly more chaotic time raising Richard. They're both workaholics and also running major legal bodies so figuring out how to make time to raise a baby amongst that is difficult.

They start with Phoenix taking paternity leave and calling in to talk with Athena. Trucy at this point is still in her final year so the office is quiet as hell and Athena HATES it. She needs a busy environment and being alone in the office is driving her mad.

So that last like a month before they just decide to baby proof the WAA and have Phoenix look after Richard while he's there. Athena likes babies (like come on, she does) but the crying is difficult on her ears so Phoenix gets her some very strong noise cancelling headphones and the pair of them come up with an insane series of methods of non verbally communicating. Phoenix and Athena barely have a braincell of common sense between them so they end up with various whiteboards all over the office to write stuff on and a nerf gun each to get each others attention.

One Apollo's first return visit from Kura'in with this as the new status quo Richard nearly chokes on a dart and he asks why they didn't just both learn ASL to which Athena and Phoenix both look at each other because the sensible solutions never even occurred to them. They learn ASL after that.

The first time they have to investigate a case Phoenix just straps up with a dad harness and takes the baby to the crime scene. This goes predictably poorly. Richard won't stop crying while they're talking to witnesses and Athena has to put on her head phones which means Phoenix has to write down everything the witness says to show her but his handwriting is terrible and he can't spell when writing so quickly so Athena keeps misunderstanding what's been said. Richard throws up on some evidence. They then get threatened by some goons which when Phoenix reports back to Miles about his day nearly gives him a heart attack.

After that one of 3 things happens. If Trucy is free, she'll either babysit her kid brother or investigate with Athena, if she isn't and Miles is free/just doing work in his office, they'll drop Richard off with him for the day where Miles has baby supplies ready. If neither of them are free, Phoenix will stay in the office and look after Richard while Athena has him on face time. That being said I'd give it 3 years before that kid's back to being dragged along to crime scenes. It's the Wright kid way.

I feel like the courthouse probably has a day care so they drop him off there during trials

When Richard is in Miles office is comparatively calm compared with the WAA. Klavier comes in to coo and sing him lullabies. Taka will sometimes take vigilant watch when he's sleeping. Simon will on occasion ask about his psychological development. But it's a lot more sane. When he's a bit older I'm reasonably certain that Simon will let him play with his katana at least once but other than that its fine.

Despite this Richard grows up to be basically fine. Weird girl energy as comes with the territory but they try to make sure he's has as normal a childhood as possible. He takes after Maya a lot which is either a biological thing or just kind of what happens when a considerable chunk of your devolpment is done in a WAA that is lacking Apollo. Miles is keeping a detailed track on all his development milestones and he's pretty far ahead but reasonably so. He's smart but he's not a Prodigy which they take to mean basically healthy. If and when he ever does struggle with something they're very good about telling him that's ok and that helping him improve while also making sure he knows it's not a moral failing to struggle. He's aware that Brunhilde and Sakura are his siblings but it's explained more as 3 kids being a lot to handle rather than the stuff about Kurain being weird. He sees them both regularly and all 4 of them love all 3 kids to pieces.

In terms of appearance as they get older, I think Richard has Maya's round soft features but Miles' grey hair and eye colour. Brunhilde is kind of the opposite, she's got the dark hair and piercing blue eyes but the sharp Edgeworth features. She also got his shitty eye sight and has glasses from a very young age. Sakura has grey narrowed eyes but round cheeks and dark hair.

Anyways, my headcanon is that Kristoph has a very particular "type" and most of the people he's romantically/sexually attracted to meet at least two (2) of the following criteria:

Dark-haired

Sarcastic and/or mean but with a strong protective streak

Fiercely independent

Extreme, perhaps irrational sense of loyalty to their cause and/or loved ones

Buff/Muscular/Strong/Athletic (or at least buffer/in better shape than Kristoph which isn't particularly hard to achieve)

Older than him (even if only by a year or so)

Therefore, I feel fairly confident in concluding that Kristoph might hypothetically be attracted to all of the following people.

Phoenix Wright (the prototype, the whole package)

Godot|Diego Armando (no longer dark-haired, but he was pre-coma ).

Simon Blackquill (not an "older" man but honestly his height/build would probably more than make up for it)

Shi Long Lang (hair isn't particularly dark but the rest fits)

Raymond Shields ( fits apart from not being particularly buff but might still be buffer than Kristoph )

Dick Gumshoe (not particularly mean and a bit less independent than the others but the rest fits)

Dhurke Sahdmadhi (not particularly mean/sarcastic but definitely gives off 'intense, don't f*ck with me' vibes at first)

Damian Tenma (also not particularly mean but definitely more than a little scary)

I don't know if this is a spoiler but I'll still warn even if it doesn't reveal any part of the game story.

During a mission when playing Echos it's possible to see Saint wright that Osiris is very good at singing! I wasn't able to get that out of my head since then. Like what kind of music does Osiris even sing? Was he naturaly a good singer or did he practice for it? If he praticed when did he start? During the dark age? If so did he just sing while studying? Also did he used Sagira as a speaker?! So many question.

Anyway, since I couldn't get it out of my head might as well ask if you have any thought about Osiris being a good singer.

Oh that sounds fun! I didn't play it yet, so I haven't heard it. I'd say that Saint's opinion about Osiris is nowhere near unbiased anyway 😂 (Out of them two I was always sure that Saint is the one who's into singing, he gives me a bit of a karaoke guy vibe salkedjfhgkl Also absolutely sure every time him and Andal secretly got wasted in the hangar instead of working, they would start singing sappy songs at a volume the whole Tower could hear) Can't see why not though, Osiris has a very pleasant voice! I don't think he was specifically learning how to sing or practicing in it, probably more of being naturally good. Also can't see him doing it like ~professionally~ or on purpose in front of a lot of people or even a group of friends - like we know Lady Skorri did, or how I headcanon Andal enjoyed doing. Being the heart of the party like that is on the exact opposite side of where Osiris prefers to stand. So to me it sounds like something he enjoys doing when he's alone (or with someone whom he wholeheartedly trusts) and in a good mood. Humming and talking to himself while studying/working is also a given imo.

Headcanons below!

Tim Wright:

He doesn't really understand why you're guiding him away from places at first, he gets annoyed at it honestly. Especially when it's Brian's, Jay's and possibly Alex's grave and or work you're leading him away from.

He might occasionally snap at you for it at first, but once he realizes what you were trying to do he immediately apologizes and thanks you.

I feel like once he started to get seizures more often he wouldn't want you around him due to the risk of Masky being the whole "Punch first think later" type, of course you'd probably still be sitting beside him making sure it doesn't become to severe in state

Eventually he'd start listening to you (Verbally and non verbally) and avoid whatever you're telling him to stay away from

Despite he, himself wanting to get down to the origin of The Operator and trying to stop it, he'd still kinda listen to you and avoid it (He doesn't want to end up like Alex or just not be able to regain consciousness when Masky comes out.)

Definitely listens to you when you try to keep him out of the woods, he knows what happens there and frankly, doesn't want to experience it again. (Despite him still probably finding some form of comfort in the woods.)

Notes: In which my headcanon for Larry’s birthday makes its debut (actually it comes from my friend so I can’t take all the credit; I merely absorbed it into my brain). If this is posted on the 4th, Days 2 and 3 will likely arrive on the weekend. Like the cool kids say: anarchy, anarchy! Anyways, established married Wrightworth mutually dating Larry, set post-SoJ just for timeline purposes but as usual with my more domestic stuff there aren’t any spoilers for AJ trilogy. Larry’s not having a very good time, but he has two boyfriends to spoil him at least. 

     No one could say that Larry never once considered the state he woke up in to be some awfully cruel April Fool’s prank. It was definitely a new one, for sure, but knowing his luck, it probably wasn’t completely impossible. 

The more he thought about it, though, it just didn’t add up. Yesterday afternoon, Larry had been struck with what he believed to be excessive air pressure from March drawing to a close to bring in April’s famous showers. He didn’t know exactly how that worked, but his boyfriends hosting him for the weekend didn’t correct him when he brought it up. 

In an attempt at tricking his body to put itself together in a decent condition, Larry took as deep of a breath he could through his congestion before groaning in discomfort as he slipped out of bed. 

It was April 1st, his birthday, and by gosh he was going to will himself into feeling well enough to enjoy it. A cold could wait until April 2nd; in fact, Larry would welcome it with open arms then, but he was not going to have a cold be his first birthday present when it was bad enough that his birthday every year was dedicated to being messed around with, deceived, and worst of all: not taken seriously even worse than during the rest of the year.

His boyfriends’ greeting him and wishing him a happy birthday upon his entry into the kitchen should have brought only joy and gratitude, but instead their usually comforting (and very attractive, might he add) voices hurt his head piercing through what he could only imagine to be pounds of cotton balls packed in his ears. 

“G’mrnn…” was as best as he could reply. 

“You could have slept in later, you know.” Phoenix informed him. 

If Larry had been as healthy as he was trying to portray himself as being, he would have thanked Phoenix for the suggestion, but instead he found himself growing annoyed. 

“Indeed, you could have.” Miles agreed, not noticing Larry beginning to clench his teeth behind a strained smile. “The only reason we’re awake is we wanted to start preparing your breakfast, but we realized we never got a chance to ask you what you wanted.” 

“So, what does the birthday boy want?” Phoenix asked innocently enough.

Ugh, ‘birthday boy’ sounded so childish, though. Larry didn’t quite realize how much he hated the term until just then. He took a deep breath and fought off the building irritation as best as he could before pondering what he could possibly want. It was then that he realized his stomach just wasn’t really asking for food right now. His appetite was simply non-existent. 

“‘M not hungry.” Larry shrugged. “I think I’ll wait ‘til lunch,” he said, trying to manifest that he would have at least a little more of an appetite in the afternoon, despite his looming doubts of that being a possibility. 

The weight he felt in his head was starting to affect his balance. Larry carefully took a seat on the chair next to Phoenix, pretending the movement didn’t come with a wave of vertigo. 

“Are you sure?” Miles asked. “You sounded quite excited about the fact we purchased a new belgian waffle maker when we picked you up from the airport yesterday.” 

Miles opened the cabinet storing the pancake mixes, pondering whether to make Larry something to eat anyway. He recalled Maya wondering out loud about Larry’s eating habits the last time the four of them had gathered, making him worry Larry’s new work schedule was interfering with his daily meals. Now, Larry was certainly not just skin and bones, but as one of his boyfriends, Miles felt some responsibility to make sure he was healthy. 

“Maybe later.” Larry rested his cheek on his hand, leaving the task of keeping him somewhat upright to his elbow on the table. He was actually surprised Miles said nothing about him doing so, but perhaps his birthday being today came with that kind of perk. “I’m just not hungry right now.” 

“Well, we can’t really argue about that, I guess.” Phoenix conceded, despite his husband now having to fight back any urge to further insist on Larry eating breakfast. “Is there anything you wanted to do today? Miles pulled some strings for the current trial so we’d both have the day off to spend the day with you.”

“Hmm, well, I uh…”  The more Larry tried to think of something he wanted to do, the less he felt like talking. His throat was starting to hurt more than it did when he first woke up. His eyes felt like they were ready to start closing, too. “Is there anything going on, like events and stuff?” 

He figured since Miles was so cultured and likely had a lot to say on current local events, that would buy him some time to rest his eyes and regain whatever energy he needed for the rest of the day. 

“The aquarium is hosting a sea otter show this month, I believe.” Miles placed his hand on his chin. “There’s also an ice cream exhibit at the museum downtown. So long as you don’t overdo it, we could take part.” He suggested. “I’m serious about not overdoing it, by the way. I’d hate for you to spend your birthday in discomfort.” 

Unfortunately, that ship already sailed, unless feeling like death warmed over didn’t count as discomfort. 

“I think they have some lactose-free options.” Phoenix added. “Or just dairy-free. Either way, Larry can afford to indulge himself some more if he’s interested in one of those.”

“Simply eating too much ice cream, lactose or no lactose, would likely be an issue in and of itself.” Miles shook his head. 

“Oh, come on. It’s his birthday! Another year older and wiser, you know.” Phoenix defended his suggestion. “Larry knows better than to really overdo things. Right, Larry?” He paused, awaiting an answer that never came. “Right… Larry?”

It was like the world had shut itself off.

The first thing Larry noticed when he finally came to was the familiar comfort of his boyfriends’ guest bedroom’s king-sized bed. If he was lucky, originally waking up feeling miserable was just a bad dream, but the feeling of a head rush that came from simply having his head elevated to a very specific degree suggested otherwise. 

He looked up to find Phoenix and Miles looking at him with love and concern. He wasn’t going to be spending his birthday out and about through sheer willpower, was he?

“Shit…” Larry hissed to himself. 

“I’m taking that’s what you’re feeling like right now?” Phoenix joked and, much to Larry’s surprise, didn’t even come off as annoying with that. “You fell asleep like,” he snapped his fingers, “that.” 

“You must have been exhausted.” Miles cooed, caressing Larry’s cheek with a cupped hand. “This cold’s certainly taken a lot out of you, hasn’t it?” 

“Was it that obvious?” Larry frowned. 

“Not really.” Phoenix said. “You were just pretty warm when we carried you to bed, and we saw the tissues piled up on the floor from presumably last night, so…”

“It was just simple logic, putting it all together.” Now it was Miles’s turn to be irritating, wasn’t it? “If you were hiding this from us intentionally, you have a lot of room to improve.”

“Come on, babe, he’s feeling bad enough as it is.” Phoenix placed a hand on his husband’s arm. “No need to rub it in like that.” 

“Yeah, Edgey.” Larry teased. He actually genuinely smiled for the first time since he woke up this morning. 

“You’re right.” Miles conceded. “I apologize. Today’s birthday menu will consist of your favorite tea with honey and lemon. How about it?” 

“When have I ever said no to tea from you, Edgey?” 

“Quite a few times, actually–” Miles stopped himself after receiving a playful nudge from Phoenix. “This time is a ‘yes,’ though?” 

“Of course.” 

While Miles got up to prepare Larry’s tea, Phoenix stayed sitting beside Larry on the bed. 

“Sorry you got a cold for your birthday, Larry.” Phoenix kissed Larry’s forehead, not at all surprised at how warm he felt. “Kind of throws a wrench in all we had planned for today, huh?”

“Don’t worry about it.” Larry coughed harshly, relieved he could just let it out instead of suppressing it like he had planned earlier. “Being born on April Fool’s Day means it’s gonna take a lot more to qualify for the ‘worst birthday ever’ than just a cold.”

“That’s true.” Phoenix nodded. “We went to school with some real assholes, didn’t we? If anyone tried to pull the stuff they did to you as ‘pranks’ today… Well, I bet you could count on Miles and me to press some serious charges.” He was only half-joking, since, like Miles, Phoenix also felt a sense of responsibility to care for the couple’s shared boyfriend as best as he could. 

“You and Edgey are great, you know that?” 

Larry, not thinking straight, pulled Phoenix into a kiss on the lips before his expression turned to one of horror when he had realized what he’d done. 

“Hey, relax.” Phoenix didn’t seem bothered at all. “Now you can say you got to give away your cold for your birthday. You know, getting rid of it by passing it on to someone else.” He chuckled. 

“Do you think Edgey will let me kiss him so I can pass it on twice as fast?”

“You know what? He probably would. Anything for you on your special day, Larry.”

I've been thinking a lot about the prosecutor wright au / the defenseworth au and I have so many ideas I'd like to explore. I'm just not sure if I'm really the one who SHOULD be exploring those ideas. It's not really MY au to be exploring and I don't know if it would be disrespectful to propose these ideas and headcanons for a story that isn't mine or one that I should really be trying to "make a story for" if you catch my drift.

Still though, I find myself with a plethora of plot ideas and story potential that if I don't release it from my system I very well might explode so I'll air them out anyway. Don't take this as what I claim the story SHOULD be and more of what I think would be an interesting direction for it to take given the source material context.

I'll explore these ideas more thoroughly in future posts, so look out for those. I'll be going character by character just talking about what I think could be a cool direction to take regarding story and character specific nuances.

Also specific mention about Siren. (I don't wanna be annoying and tag you bestie) DoctorSiren is the original creator of both Defenseworth and Prosecutor Phoenix specifically, at least the au versions I'll be discussing here-on-out. I have a huge amount of respect for her as an artist and she's one of my favorite artists so go check out her stuff, it's amazing!

And a mention TO her if she happens to find these posts, if at any point you'd like me to stop so that I don't interfere or conflict with your creative vision or boundaries you have for your stories I TOTALLY understand and will take down the posts no questions asked. I just don't wanna be that guy that tries to co-opt your art and writing. So just let me know if it ever becomes an issue!

Any headcanons you have about Phoenix Wright?

Well, as I am still getting through the original trilogy, I don’t really see headcanons to have much of a point. Phoenix is purposefully written like a blank slate so the player can project on him. In that manner, any headcanons made about him are more of a psychological analysis of self via proxy. Anyway, here are some headcanons:

He is half Japanese (in the localisation, anyway) - his mother is Japanese and his father is white, might be of Irish origin.

While he is not shredded, or have well-defined muscles, he is quite strong, especially core, backs and legs. He moves around heavy stuff often.

He has a very good memory and can “memorize” texts in the manner that he remembers the page and reads the text out loud without a single word passing through his brain on the way.

He’s finished the Art Major. His fallback plan if being a lawyer didn’t work out was to become police sketch artist and get to Edgeworth this way.

After every trial he calls his mum and tells her all about it. He keeps in touch with his parents

At some point during the college years he had to make a reproduction of a known painting (our art teacher back in high school loved that), and Phoenix ended up re-creating a painting of Barok van Zieks (teacher’s choice “I know you are studying law also, Mr. Wright, this might be of your interest.”), so now Phoenix has personal beef with him because he had to use a bazillion shades of lavender and it was not fun.

He’s a snuggly drunk and ugly weeper.

Nah. And I can’t promise it will happen in the future either. I don’t do “trends” or “-tober” events either. Sometimes I’ll do a few Shiptobers casually, but with no intention to do the whole month. The ask box is what I offer for interactives.

What about prompts?

I accept prompt suggestions, but may or may not complete the prompt. That is up to my own discretion.

Headcanons?

I get so into my stories that I forget what is a headcanon and what is not. Keep this in mind when interacting. I’d love to hear your headcanons about my stories!

Anything obviously canon-deviant will be noted at the top of the post if I think it will be problematic. However, if its obvious then... its obvious.

I found something unrealistic in one of your stories!

I probably put it there on purpose. Especially with the Ace Attorney series, A Man Named Terran, I’ll sometimes sacrifice complete realism. There will still be some degree of realism, but it may not be 100% guaranteed-to-work-on-Earth. Don't try it at home.

Do you have a Ko-Fi or Patreon?

No. Because I don’t expect people to use it, and I don’t really have reason to restrict things at the moment. If many people become interested, I might open a Patreon or something for exclusive stories and whatnot. Emphasis on the might.

Also, Paypal hates me so I have no way to take donations due to the sucker refusing to link to a financial account for withdrawls.

Do you make NSFW material?

Not intentionally. I prefer to keep material PG-13 and under. Sometimes I’ll make something that’s Mature/R-rated for gore/violence, but making that material M/R is not the intention. Usually my M/R content is related specifically to the UR-1 Incident from Dual Destinies, which is mostly where the game’s M rating comes from anyway.  

Spoiler Policy -

Official content like trailers and Direct content must have been published by the producer (Nintendo, CAPCOM, etc) before I will publish or talk about it. I don’t like to deal with “leaks”.

Gameplay/Story information will be released (with a spoiler warning) ONLY after the end of the day of release (Usually 8-9pm on the day a game releases)

But i never had a oneshot book so big though.

Okay, I'll explain a few rules here for requesting.

1. Do not request smut or sex between blood-related characters, PLEASE. NO. INCEST.

2. Be specific when requesting, don't just type character x reader, give me more detail on what you want me to write, this rule applies to oneshots, headcanons, scenarios and AU's.

3. This should be expected, but I'm putting this down here anyway. I do not write sex scenes with minors In them. Nor do I write minors with a character who is 18+, smut or not.

4. I can also write Polyandry / Polygyny, LGBT+ etc.

5. If you request sexual trauma or rape, I will NOT write It explicitly. Same with gore.

Shoes hit against the floor as the owner of them walked through the hallway, eventually stopped walking and went up to one of the rooms, opening the door upon hearing laughter.

"Auntie?"

A woman sitting In a chair next to a hospital bed walked up to the girl and hugged her.

"Crystal! Great timing, dear." The woman exclaimed, pulling away from the raven haired girl, pointing over to the hospital bed, "This Is Rei, she's one of the patients here, can you keep her company for a little bit while I take care of something else."

Crystal nodded, her lips forming Into a smile, "Sure." She said, to which her aunt gave her a thumbs up and left the room.

The white haired woman smiled softly, patting the chair Crystal's aunt was sitting In earlier, "Would you like to sit with me, dear?"

"A- Ah! Sure!" The girl hesitantly walked over and sat In the chair by the hospital bed.

She's pretty...

"Do you come to the hospital often?"

Crystal jumped slightly, "Ah...I do sometimes so I can visit my aunt..."

"Well, when you come by..Can you visit me? I would appreciate the company."

Crystal looked up, smiling once more, "Of course!"

Crystal's feet moved back and forth as she wasn't really paying attention In class and looking at the heterochromiac boy who's seat was In front of hers, he turned his head to meet her eyes, aware of her staring and raising a brow. Crystal quickly turned her head, her face was flushed red as she covered It.

He's so quiet...

Steps were heard going down the hallway,

"Don't talk to her, It'll make everything worse than what It Is."

Screw that.

Shouto opened the door, about to say something but widened his eyes when he saw a familiar face.

Crystal turned her head to the door upon hearing It open and her eyes widened also.

After a while of Shouto talking with his mother, reuniting with her and Rei explaining the situation of Crystal visiting her both of the teenagers eventually went together to go visit Rei who would often wink and say something along the lines of, 'You two have been getting close lately' or 'I'm so glad you both are friends'.

And that one day came.

Crystal handed the flowers In the vase to Rei, "Here you go, I hope you like them!"

Rei looked at the flowers and smiled, "Thank you, sweetie. How did you know I like these?"

"It was actually Shouto who told me..." Crystal rubbed her neck, which was as flushed as her face.

"Hm, that's sweet of him...Shame that he doesn't have a girlfriend yet." Rei sent Crystal a wink and the raven haired girl stumbled, her dark brown eyes widening slightly.

"H...How...Did you..."

"Mothers just know, get 'em tiger!" Rei winked again and Crystal came out of the hospital room, more redder than usual.

Shouto raised a brow, "Are you alright?"

"I- I'm fine! I'll just head back home now!"

"I can walk you back If you want?"

"S...Sure!" She squeaked, earning another eyebrow raise from Shouto, but the male said nothing as they headed out the hospital.

Crystal looked up at the sky, eyes widening once more.

"What's wrong?"

"I...I don't have an umbrella..." She admitted, looking at the dark sky as It rained cats and dogs.

"There's a extra one at my place, we can go there and I can get It for you?"

Crystal nodded, "Okay."

The two teenagers headed to the house, turning around and noticing Crystal was soaked from the rain, her uniform somewhat see-through and Shouto quickly turned his head, his face flushing slightly.

"I...I should get you some new clothes, you'll get a cold..."

Crystal looked down, noticing her clothing being wet she flustered, nodding, Shouto went to his room, grabbing a new shirt, It was a little big but he hoped that It would fit her, he came out. Passing the shirt to Crystal. "You can change In the bathroom." He said, the raven haired girl nodded, heading to the bathroom as Shouto searched for that extra umbrella, after finding It he headed to the bathroom, completely forgetting to knock and he opened the door.

"Hey, I found the umbrella and I'll place It nea-" He froze, pausing with his words as his face flushed slightly and Crystal jumped, putting her hands over her chest to hide the bra that she was wearing.

"Sh- Shouto?!" She screeched, stumbling a little as she tried to regain her balance from surprise, she was expecting the male to leave but Instead he walked Into the bathroom, standing In front of her.

"I like you."

Huh...?!

The girl wasn't sure If she should laugh or say that she liked him as well, he just said It with such a straight face which turned Into a pinkish hue after she stayed silent for so long.

Is this even a good time to say that...?

Crystal shook the thoughts out of her head, holding the shirt that he gave her earlier over her chest, she blushed and turned her head away. "I like you as well...But..."

"Hm?"

"Shouldn't we talk about this when I'm...Decent...?"

As If a delayed reaction Shouto's face turned as red as the left side of him, to which Crystal let out a soft chuckle.

"I..I'm sorry."

"It's fine Shouto." She smiled softly as the male headed out of the bathroom.

His lips were dry, maybe a little chapped as well.

The kiss was sloppy but It seemed like neither had cared,

Shouto pulled back and Crystal's eyes widened, "Uh...Shouto?"

"Yes?"

"Your left shoulder Is on fire..."

Levi:

At first he's just...'What the fuck is this shit'.

Eventually he'll get used to It since It's something that you enjoy.

But just because he's used to It doesn't mean he'll understand.

Eren:

He'll be extremely curious.

He'd genuinely be Interested and ask you questions.

Like, 'Why do you enjoy that so much?'

Way more understanding of It and might actually like It, unlike Levi.

Bakugou:

Doesn't give a shit at first.

Then later on he will eventually get Interested.

He'll listen to you talk about the subject...Sometimes.

Keeps getting emo and goth mixed up and you have to keep correcting him.

Keith let out a sigh, "The stupid things I do with you Is starting to make me question my mental state. Fine, lead th way."

Lance grabbed Keith In a hug grinning, "See?! Was that so hard?"

"Let's just go before I change my mind, fishbreath."

"Why you- You know what, whatever." Lance hmphed, slapping his blue fins across Keith's face as he swam off.

"Ow! Get back here!"

For fun and profit, my queer headcanons for Ace Attorney characters:

Phoenix Wright: Aroace trans guy. He's trans because his name's Phoenix. He's ace because the game series is called Ace Attorney. He's aromantic because having a girlfriend try to kill him in college traumatized him, and after working on it in therapy, realized that he simply did not want or feel the need to date anyone anymore. Since this does not ultimately negatively affect his life, he decided that it wasn't worth the emotional pain of trying to work through it. Perhaps he'll feel different in the future, but for now, he's aromantic.

Maya Fey: Aromantic trans girl. She's aromantic because I like her. She's trans because it genuinely enhances her narrative by reinforcing the lack of agency she has in her life, and how she can learn to reclaim it anyway.

Miles Edgeworth: Autigender gay aroace. Haven't decided where he is on the aroace spectrum, but he's all that AND gay because he has the vibes. He's autigender because I like projecting.

Diego Armando: Bi ace genderqueer. Bi and genderqueer bc the vibes are off the charts, ace because I think it's interesting and also because I feel like I don't have enough alloro ace headcanons in general.

Mia Fey: Bi nonbinary girl. Girl with left gender. What gender? Diego's earrings, probably. Bi because of her implied relationship with Diego and her accidentally implied relationship with Lana. Might also screw around and put her on the aro spectrum because I believe we deserve some more alloaros up in here, and because I think it could potentially make her relationships to Diego and Lana very interesting.

Dick Gumshoe: Aromantic and bi but in the kind of way where he knows Nothing about the queer community and has done no self reflection on it. Maybe also a trans guy bc I think he deserves to be but that would require him having some knowledge of the queer community and decrease the humor.

Franziska von Karma: Pan! But she knows even less about the whole thing than Gumshoe. Doesn't start thinking about her sexuality until Miles calls her up with a formal coming out notice, after which she hangs up and does 48 hours straight research until she collapses. That research was mostly because nobody is allowed to know more about anything than she does but it did lead to her figuring out she's pan so there's that. Still debating her gender because I think she deserves to be trans but also I think the idea of 'cis ally with a whip' is HILARIOUS.

Pearl Fey: I don't really have any set headcanons for her but I do think it'd be kinda neat if she was genderfluid, because it'd be interesting to see how that'd interact with her powers, and provides some really unique opportunities for character study.

Dahlia Hawthorn: Aromantic trans girl. I think aromantic serial killers have rights if written by me or other aros and I think it'd be neat if she and Iris both independently figured out they were trans. I think there's some really strong narrative potential for Fey trans girls.

Iris: Straight trans girl. Already mentioned the trans girl part, but I'd like to add that I think it'd be super interesting for Maya and Iris to compare notes on their trans experiences and help each other along the way. Also I think Iris deserves to be transhet because she has truly immaculate taste in men.

Oooookay, here’s my comprehensive list of companions - ALL companions, across Fallouts 3, 4, New Vegas and 76 - and their (headcanon) choices in wasteland pets. I’ll give a little explanation for each - particularly as many of these companions are transients and don’t have the luxury of owning a home to keep pets at. Also, I feel like most of the companions, while they might not necessarily like pets, would be somewhat fond or at least respectful of the pets of the Lone Wanderer/Courier/Sole Survivor/Vault Dweller, like Dogmeat and Rex. 

Bighorners

Lily Bowen: Everyone’s favorite super mutant grandma is already an experienced shepherdess in Jacobstown, and she’s more than willing to tear some night stalkers apart to keep her herd safe. If that’s not love beyond the norm for wasteland livestock, I don’t know what is. She’s probably given all of her bighorners names after the characters in the television reruns she used to watch on holotape in Vault 17, like Grace and Audrey and Lucille. 

Brahmin

Raul Tejada: Actually spent a decent part of his pre-war life living on a ranch, so he knows that most brahmin don’t deserve being labeled “irritable” just because people don’t know how to read their body language. I think he’d follow wild brahmin herds around a bit on a whim and keep them from coming to any harm, especially the little ones. He gives them names like the cattle he grew up with, Corazon and Gordo and Blanca. 

Rose of Sharon Cassidy: Doesn’t truck with the wild herds, but she knows that part of the success of a caravan lies with how well they treat their pack animals. All of her caravan’s brahmin have names - Penny, Magic and Sprinkles - and she’s careful to pair them up with drivers who are patient and work well with their various personalities. 

Cats

Butch DeLoria: While Butch ultimately decided to leave Vault 101 behind, I don’t think he would ever truly lose his fear of radroaches after what they did to his mom. Having a little friend to warm his bunk in Rivet City and pounce on intruders would probably set his mind at ease, maybe a black tomcat with one ear named Pepper. He might even gift his mom a kitten when he next comes to visit. 

Star Paladin Cross: I don’t think Cross much sees the use of an animal that doesn’t contribute to the community it lives in, like most of the Brotherhood of Steel. Cats, however, are excellent at pest control, even if the rats are bigger nowadays. I think she’d give the resident cats at the Citadel some pets in passing, and she’d smile when she has to extract playful kittens from inside her power armor frame. She’s especially fond of the cat colony’s matriarch, a scarred old tabby named Gemma. 

Curie: Upon her transition into a synth body, Curie is overjoyed with most animals and their new willingness to approach her for attention. She especially loves cats because she can pick them up and better feel their fur and purring. Her favorite cat is an orange stray in Diamond City that she calls Claude. 

Piper Wright: A companion for Nat when she’s out adventuring, an unbiased friend to bounce the latest opinion piece off of before going to print, and a lap-warmer for when you’re typing up the latest article about the exploits of the Minutemen - what’s not to like? The Wright family cat is a slippery, elegant calico named Sugar Bomb. 

Preston Garvey: While the Minutemen forts and settlements definitely lean more toward keeping dogs around for security purposes, I think Preston likes his pets quieter and less likely to bowl you over in excitement. The one most likely to sleep with him in his bunk at Sanctuary is a grumpy gray gentleman named Anchovy. 

Deathclaws

Veronica Santangelo: If anyone is crazy enough to swipe a deathclaw egg from a nest and try to hatch, rear and train a personal killing machine named Izzy, it’s Veronica. This will probably just alienate her from her Brotherhood chapter even more, but I’m sure she would take special care to make sure that her usual Mojave Wasteland haunts take a peek through a scope to see if the approaching deathclaw has a human on its back before taking a shot. 

Dogs

Clover: I don’t think Clover gets out beyond Paradise Falls much, so the only animals she’s used to are the dogs the raiders bring around when passing through. She probably has favorites among the usual visitors and enjoys tossing them bits of meat when she’s allowed to get away from Eulogy and Crimson. If liberated, she’d probably get at least three of her own dogs to watch over her while she sleeps: One small dog to carry with her, a Pekingese or Pomeranian descendant named Coco, and two large dogs to follow through on intimidation and protection, a mastiff named Rock and a Doberman descendant named Roll. 

Jericho: Jericho doesn’t deserve a dog but he’d probably have one around anyway to sniff out caps caches and hidden loot after he’s shot everyone in the vicinity. Some slinky beagle mix named Dewey, probably. 

Fawkes: I don’t think Fawkes would be picky at all about what kind of dog he’d have. He strikes me as the type who would adopt any half-friendly mutt he ran across. I do think he would have a bit of a soft spot for friendlier mutant hounds, though, and maybe view their mutated circumstances as similar to his own. He’d also be absolutely amazing at playing fetch. Just imagine how far he could lob a stick or ball. All of his dogs would have literary names too, like Byron and Agatha and Edgar. 

Craig Boone: Though he’s a bit of a prodigy at sniping, Boone knows his limitations when it comes to spotting hidden enemies on the horizon. I can see him having a hound dog at his side to find the more elusive ones and help him get rid of them faster. Maybe a bloodhound mutt named Bravo. 

Cait: Doesn’t like people, but she adores dogs. Having had the life where she’s been abused, exploited and forced into slavery, she’s keenly aware that those like the ones who took advantage of her treat dogs much the same. She’s very protective of any dog she encounters and is very likely to punch you in the face if you so much as look at one wrong. She’d probably name any pup she adopted Lucky. 

Hancock: Honestly, he’s just a fan of any animal that is happy to hang out with you whether you’re drunk, high, fighting raiders or patrolling downtown Boston. The Goodneighbor strays know him as the guy who always has mirelurk jerky in his pockets. His favorite is a rough-and-tumble, black-and-white spotted cattle dog descendant that he cheekily calls King George. 

Robert MacCready: He’s not quick to trust dogs, but once he’s sure they’re not a threat, they’re one of the few critters around which he’ll relax completely. He’s still a little wary of them around Duncan, but any dog that’s a part of his family is more or less his son’s permanent babysitter. 

Nick Valentine: Dogmeat is also basically his dog. The two have a history of working cases together, with Dogmeat just turning up whenever a trail goes cold and leading Nick to the evidence he needs to reopen his investigation. Nick doesn’t know how or why Dogmeat does it, but he’s not about to ruin a good thing. 

Strong: I don’t think he would turn down a ferocious mutant hound as a friend. He’d probably feed it mole rats and call it something like Killer. 

Foxes

Beckett: This former raider has a love-hate relationship with a fox that keeps going through his trash. He affectionately calls him Lil’ Bastard. 

Sofia Daguerre: Having crashed back to an earth she doesn’t recognize, I think Sofia would be tickled that the foxes of Appalachia have basically stayed the same despite the bombs. I can see her leaving dinner scraps out on her porch for one that she sometimes spots in the foliage, and slowly coaxing the critter to come into the light. She names her Scarlett once she finally convinces her to eat out of her hand. 

Mega sloths

Settler forager: I would not be at all surprised if this man ran into a mega sloth in the Mire and decided to try befriending it. The creature, probably surprised at this old guy’s nerve, decided to accept the handful of leaves he offered and grew slowly more fond of the guy’s persistence. It doesn’t know its name is Fergus but it does know that if a human is wearing overalls, it’s probably not a threat. 

Mole rats

Deacon: Alright, hear me out. Deacon has a fondness for underdogs, and mole rats are about as underdog as they come. I think Deacon thinks these little guys are cute despite their wrinkles and buck teeth, and I think he sees the value in having a tunneling pet that likes to collect shiny things. One of his deep cover hideouts is in an old tunnel system in the northern Commonwealth, where he hangs out with a young mole rat named Henry. 

Owls

Raider punk: This radio operator got wind of an abandoned nest of owlets in Appalachia early on in his career and, being the nearest to the report, decided to rescue the little guys. Now he has three owls that occasionally drop in at his camp to hoot and accept handouts: Nona, Decima and Morta. While he’s still fond of them, he’s usually disappointed that they aren’t the Mothman coming to visit. 

Rad chickens

Yasmin Chowdhury: Ever the opportunistic cook, she picked up the practice of raising chickens from the settlers at Foundation and has four hens of her own: Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme. The “ladies,” as she refers to them, give her a constant stream of eggs for omelets. 

Ravens

Settler wanderer: This gal has an affinity with birds, who are always on the move like her. She admires their ability to be untethered and let the wind take them far and wide. Nevertheless, she likes to scatter corn when they come close to her on the road, and formed a sort of friendship with a particularly handsome specimen that she calls Tornado. 

Wolves

Old Longfellow: This guy is the epitome of the meme about dads not wanting pets and then instantly falling in love with whatever animal enters their life. He probably found an injured wolf pup in his travels around the island and took pity on it, nursing it back to health in his cabin. It’s still got a bit of a twisted paw, but follows him around and listens like any other dog and answers to the name Lamoine. 

Yao guai

Porter Gage: I bet this guy adopted an orphaned bear cub and raised it by hand. Now it’s so big that even if Gage thinks he’s an easy target for other raiders due to his age, he’s much less likely to get singled out than he thinks because he has a yao guai following him around like a puppy. The bear’s name is Fuzzy Wuzzy. It has no hair. 

No pets, thanks

Charon: Too likely to accidentally wind up in the line of fire. 

Sergeant RL-3: Too easily corrupted by Communist influences. 

Arcade Gannon: Too much time spent getting in your way. 

Codsworth: Too likely to make messes. 

Paladin Danse: Too many wasted resources. 

X6-88: Too much of a liability. 

Ada: Too easy to lose when on the move. 

Solomon Hardy: Too unsanitary.

Okay serious maybe controversial headcanon time so Jason/Piper fans, feel free to skip

Piper suffered a serious case of compulsive heterosexuality thanks to Hera and Aphrodite. While Jason was one of her best friends, Piper didn't like him the same way he liked her or the same way she now likes Shel. She felt obligated to stay in a relationship she remembered (even though she knew it was the Mist) and felt obligated to have a boyfriend because of her mom

Like Jason and Piper were a cute ship, but it definitely wasn't the healthiest of ships. Maybe it was just how I read it, but Piper spent most of their relationship being insecure about the status of their relationship or trying to justify its existence. Like there were definitely cute moments, but most of those I read from Jason's POV

Basically they both deserved better for a whole bunch of reasons

Jason wholeheartedly supports Piper and her sexuality btw (even if it stings a little bit being told your ex might never have been totally attracted to you). He even attends with Piper and Shel to their first Pride after their break up

Piper hates hates hates the words f*g and d*ke because it's what bullies used to call her at school and even when she didn't know what it meant, it still leaves a sour taste in her mouth. She can't even tolerate other queer people saying it

Piper never wanted to stay in the closet for long because it felt like her entire life was spent locking parts of herself away so the moment she realized she was gay she just went with it because fuck everyone else, her mother was the goddess of love- she knew what she was doing

The Aphrodite Cabin has a set of albums where they collect pictures of cute celebrities. When Piper came out, most of the Aphrodite cabin crowded her with these albums, trying to figure out her type

Technically, Piper didn't come out; she just entered the cabin one day blasting to Girl in Red

Piper didn't officially come out to Tristan, she just brought Shel over and introduced her as her girlfriend

Kristoph Gavin Character Analysis I

Part 1 of... fucking infinity, I hate this bitch so much lmao.

Well, it's Halloween time and I just thought, why not. So let's answer this question.

What makes Kristoph Gavin a scary character/villain? A soft spoken gentleman with a deadly secret... the Devil, who lives in his hand, that crazy evil scar thing, his creepy music theme... damn, he’s a scary dude. But scariest of all? His psychology, as we all know. (This is mostly gonna be headcanons. but ya know what, I have a license (hands you a piece of paper that says ‘i can do what i want’))

Kristoph seems like a person who is very aloof, particularly when it comes to personal relationships. At first he kind of just seems like the typical anime glasses guy whose main emotion is like whooa he does the glare thing with his glasses sometimes. But... what is he really about?

You know, let me digress for a moment, what's really interesting to me about the AA characters is how much depth they have in their writing. Case in point, Adrian Andrews. There's a character who you assume is just going to be the typical "anime glasses girl" who is a career woman who don't need no man, and is very aloof, cool, and as she says, not concerned with irrelevant topics or things. Later you learn about the true depths to her personality. The fact that she is codependent, that she needs other people telling her what to do in order to survive. Just because she masks these emotions doesn't mean they don't exist. I felt that really gave a lot of depth to her character and added another dimension that stories in this genre don't often address as boldly or fully (especially when it comes to a female character). So the quality of the writing is always really top notch with only a few exceptions. Take this as context...

Now getting back to Kristoph Gavin. Typical anime glasses dude, right? But no, though. One of the reasons why he's so interesting to me is how his emotional understanding of personal relationships really works. Or seems to, anyway. Based on the endgame testimony and his crimes, Kristoph Gavin is extremely dangerous because, should you get involved with him in any way, he will never, ever let go of you, ever. Once you are entangled with him he wants you to stay entangled, not unlike an overbearing parent who refuses to let you go. It's partly that he thinks he knows what's best for you (that is, to stay completely loyal to him). And also partly... because he is pretty dependent on what other people think of him. So he needs to keep them around him closely.

Kristoph's biggest fear was his lying being exposed for what it was. That Phoenix was really the honest, straightforward attorney, and not him. Kristoph would do anything to perpetuate his own false reality. He kept it going for seven years. His absolute worst fear of all was losing his reputation. Being seen for what he truly was in front of others. He could never accept that. That fear drove all of his murders. Fundamentally, he sees himself as benevolent... when nothing could be further from the truth of how he was hurting everyone who had the misfortune of crossing his path.

Kristoph has a need to perpetuate this false identity of himself above all else. A very adjacent second goal to that is to keep all of his personal associates very close and under his control in order to keep the first goal intact.

Reject him and he will stalk you until you are dead. By his hand, or otherwise. Slight him, and he will get you at the first opportunity, case in point, Zak Gramarye. (He only had to get a quick glance at the guy and his fate was sealed. Turnabout Trump is a chilling case.) Replace him, and he will tear your life and livelihood up into little itty bitty pieces. He will then continue to stalk you aggressively for seven years while pretending he is your best friend. Case in point, Phoenix Wright.

Create false evidence for him and you become a loose end. So does your daughter. Like I said, just don't get involved with him. If he feels threatened, Kristoph Gavin will not hesitate to end you. It's definitely an obsession. I mean the first word that comes to people's minds when it comes to Kristoph usually isn't "obsessed", because he gives off the aura of being calm and uninterested. But he is, he's obsessed. You have to be obsessed to do what he did. This shit consumed his every waking hour, and that's what he won't admit. That he was so sick, he completely lost the plot. Phoenix was already living in his head rent free the day he ordered the forgery. And even though Phoenix wasn't physically present at the Misham trial and was only watching everything by video camera, you can bet Kristoph was seeing Phoenix. Hallucinating him, images of him. Probably multiple images of him. That's how obsessive. Imagine letting something or someone control you to that extent. Imagine thinking that you're so important, that Phoenix taking Zak Gramarye's case at all was meant to be a slight against you personally. (It's funny because Phoenix mentions not even knowing Kristoph at all until after the disbarment. So Kristoph's own logic in thinking that Phoenix was just out to shame him absolutely doesn't track. Ob-sessed, dude.)  

It's actually pretty astonishing that someone like Apollo made it out alive. On a side note, I really think Kristoph enjoyed having someone to mentor. He sought someone like Apollo out. Someone naive and new to the field for him to indoctrinate. And maybe I have a post about that later, cuz that's a whole 'nother barrel of monkeys right there. (It kind of involves Apollo’s naivete (also, daddy issues, hello.) being a huge reason why he would gravitate towards having a mentor known for having a “caring” personality. And I think Apollo genuinely liked that about him, which makes the end result so much more awful for Apollo to deal with because to him, that was real.)

But now think of Klavier, right. Being forced to grow up with that. To live with that your entire life. To have a familial relationship that is that smothering, that suffocating, that strangling. That controlling, to criticize every single thing that you do or say right down to the way you say it. And remember... He's never letting you go. I would go on a world tour as a rock star, too. Anything to be anywhere he isn't. This is horror movie tier stuff. (now im imagining a horror movie trailer for aa4 focusing on gavins stuff... eep!)

And Kristoph Gavin markets himself as someone who simply doesn't care. He's the coolest defense in the west and he doesn't care for what you may think about it. Except... he does care. It totally consumes him. Your perception, your opinion, is everything to him. He has shitty self esteem, deep down, because he knows Phoenix is better than him. And tries to mask it with narcissism as the two duke it out. Appearances are everything, evidence is everything. What people think is true is the only thing that matters, truth doesn't. And it makes sense that his closest contacts and associates are the targets for his constant narcissistic abuse and gaslighting. Their opinions matter even more than the common crowd - of course, Kristoph hates them. Which makes it even worse for him when the jury decides unanimously that Vera is innocent (and by implication, he is therefore guilty). The jury verdict was kind of like the ultimate confirmation that guess what, the evidence doesn't matter. The common and boorish masses have passed judgement, no matter how "mindless, emotional and irrational" they are, even they can see behind his crappy little facade. Even a blind woman like Lamiroir can see that insecurity; even a common person can understand it just by looking at the facts. That's what absolutely wrecks him... that his “poker face” couldn’t hold a candle to Phoenix’s. And he loses the “hand” again (because of his “hand”... get it??).

The identity that he needs to maintain is part of how he sees himself in his mind. As Phoenix's protector, not as his stalker. As Klavier's benevolent big brother, not as his abuser. As Apollo's teacher and mentor, not as someone guiding him into ruin. He lives in a false reality.

Try to bring this up in any way, shape, or form and he will write it off. You're just imagining things...

Because at some level, Mr. Black Psyche Locks himself doesn't even realize. (I feel like that might just be basically canonical fact, based on Pearl’s explanation of how black psyche locks are supposed to work.) That’s pretty freaking terrifying.

At the end of the day this is a big part of the reason I think his character is just so interesting. In a very messed up way, Kristoph is one degree away from being such a good person. He could've been obsessively protective of Klavier - the way a big brother is supposed to be - instead of abusive, could've actually been very caring of Phoenix instead of manipulative. Terrible people can have good traits, just as good people can have awful traits. His attention to detail and understanding of psychology (like getting Vera those gifts she would like so much) could've been used for genuine good. He could've been someone who cares deeply about other people because he does care deeply about other people. But only in terms of their relation to himself, what do they think of him, how are they useful to him.

Maybe this is why I kind of like his character. Intelligent, semi-neurotic protective characters are just my ish. But, no, he has to have a narcissistic bent that skews everything into complete abuse. That’s what makes him awful... that he’s devoid of a moral compass or true compassion for other human beings.

So in closing, fuck off, Kristoph Gavin.

Postscript, he's also such a good foil for Phoenix for this reason. Kristoph does everything for himself. Phoenix does everything for Trucy, because he's a dad and he understands the weight of what it means to really care for someone. Kristoph couldn’t understand motives like that. And Phoenix can't help it if he's an order of magnitude smarter and more mature than Kristoph is. He was just born like that. Classy as fuck. You know what, Kristoph Gavin is like the dollar store version of Phoenix Wright as an attorney. Has many of the same functions but actually doesn't have a leg to stand on and will fail you when you need it. And is revealed to just be a cheap knockoff of the real thing.

oh hello stranger 😳never seen u before 😳😳😳 this is a super cute concept ashskdkd, I decided to use a headcanon format for this one if that’s okay! also I smooch u for asking for Apollo bc I fricken love him, I’m always happy to fill the void with more Apollo content.

You’re a big sibling to Trucy, you had been adopted a bit before her by Phoenix back when he dealt with a case where you lost both of your parents. His heart bled too much for you to leave you behind to be lost to the foster system.

You work with Trucy often with her magic tricks, often making sure she didn’t do anything to get herself hurt or anything. You had your own hobbies of course, but you did enjoy working with Trucy at the now Wright Anything Agency.

Apollo sort of had an eye for you since the beginning. You were similar to Trucy in many ways, but a bit more level headed and mature (and around his age, thank god). The way you kindly offered him help with his work when he knew any other person would rather do anything else... it made him feel looked out for. Surprisingly enough, when you did help out, you offered good insight and interesting new angles to take the case. You were good with helping him when he was stuck at some part of a case.

Apollo didn’t want to admit to himself that he had an eye for you, he really didn’t. He felt it would damage the relationship you two currently shared, and he would rather die.

Unfortunately for Apollo, literally everyone else can sense his internal dilemma. Except you, of course.

Apollo is NOT subtle at all with his feelings for you. He can choke down his nervousness when the two of you are working a case together most of the time, but when you two are together and have no main task at hand.... he’s kind of a wreck.

Apollo is teased a lot by Trucy about you. She has a tally system. Whenever Apollo stares at you longer than about 3 seconds, she puts a tally and shouts the number he’s at. He’s currently at 57. You have no idea why Trucy is shouting numbers. Whenever you ask Apollo insists he’ll tell you later, but he never does.

Apollo has a bad habit of giving you things. You may be asking: the hell does that mean? You see, whenever you��re around, he usually gives you little things like snacks or something of that sort. It gets to a point where he might even give you his lunch just to be sweet to you. It isn’t uncommon for him to bring you coffee or tea in the morning, he usually stops at a cafe in the morning for something to eat anyway. He asked you once if you liked coffee/tea and what kind, and he immediately memorized your favorite. Even if it’s one of those super complex Starbucks orders, he knows it like the back of his hand. Besides just food, Apollo has a habit of picking up little keychains or knick-knacks he thinks you might like. You have probably 17 keychains because of him.

One of the things Apollo will never admit is that he enjoys when you accompany him to court. Maybe more than he should enjoy it. He always enjoys your presence, but a part of him really enjoys you getting to see him pick apart cases and serve justice (haha). He feels “cool” when he makes a break in a case when you’re around. He absolutely lives for the praise you give him for it too. Hearing you gush about how cool you think he is almost better than the satisfaction of serving the justice itself.

Despite how much Apollo fumbles around you, you have no idea you are the center of his attraction. No one knows how you can’t tell. It’s... painfully obvious?

Apollo doesn’t mind the teasing from Trucy, but there was something he was afraid of with the situation more than you finding out.

And that’s Phoenix.

Phoenix, like anyone else who has seen the two of you interact for more than 2 minutes, is pretty damn aware of Apollo’s attraction towards you.

As your father, he’s a bit protective over you. Sure, you may be an adult, but you were still his baby deep down inside. This being said... Apollo may or may not have been intimidated by him a few times.

Phoenix is super passive aggressive. He makes jokes about how Apollo should be “careful” around his baby [Y/N], and often tells him “don’t get any ideas” when they go to investigate a crime scene or something like that alone. Every now and then, he’ll tease you in front of Apollo, saying how he’ll chase any boys who like you away. You of course laugh with him, complaining how he’s no fun. Apollo acts like he isn’t affected by the playful interaction between a father and their kid, but he most certainly can see the glances Phoenix shoots at him.

After awhile of you two being close, Phoenix does eventually warm up to the idea a little. He has a genuine talk with Apollo about you, letting him know that if he really wanted you... he wouldn’t want any other guy to have you really and truly. Apollo nervously explained that he had no malicious intent with you, and that if Phoenix would allow him, he’d give you everything. It was a tense moment of silence before Phoenix spoke up saying “that’s what I like to hear”.

Apollo didn’t actually expect Phoenix to give him an ‘okay’ to date you. He just assumed he would always be stuck in a situation of “gosh I really like you but your dad scares me”. But now with your fathers permission, he can now safely pursue you. Uh... assuming he has the guts to ask you out, that is.
