aa headcanon:

franziska avoids liquor at all costs, not because alcoholism runs in the family or something but because she would never risk losing control of her speech or saying something she doesn't want to. i think she's a sad drunk but has never had more than a few glasses of wine so she doesn't know.

this one's hard because i don't think you could convince a bavarian woman that alcohol has any power over her, let alone one as insistent upon her constitution as franziska. but she is japanese-american in the original so i will concede in that version of canon.

WENDY'S FRANZISKA & ALCOHOL HEADCANONS:

i like to make her an alky for fun sometimes but not always

incorrigible sweet tooth that carries over to booze, she can only stomach dessert liquors

develops a taste for colourless hard alcohol when she's older but absolutely cannot drink anything dark

if the fucking Zollbeamter find out how much she hates beer they will not let her back into the country

doesn't have the red wine genes and it burns her the fuck up because miles and manfred will sit around enjoying a red and talking about how rich the tannins are but if she has one sip she will 1. gag and 2. immediately start sneezing like a dog that wandered snout-first into a dirt pile

not a lightweight by any means but

WILL CRY IF YOU GET ENOUGH HARD LIQUOR INTO HER

I’ve watched it three times and cried really bad on my first watch, so safe to say, this video has affected me. So I wanted to draw something that paid tribute to it!!! It was definitely a challenge trying to get all the descriptive metaphorical writing into a visual medium, but I hope I did it a justice!!
