hi guys so quick question, what is like the best way to get into watching the new season? i have watched a few yt vids from the last seasons (mostly minute) and i get kinda confused if its better to watch streams or yt vids, also i not sure who actually streams on twitch

just some info or help would help appreciated <3

i think a book series about a high school class where every character in the class gets their own book (or like a chapter/shortstory) about their own life and experiences would be kinda cool.

like theyre all not rlly friends with each other but rather on neutral terms and all have their own story not knowing about everyone elses, maybe even the teacher too

but somehow theyre all connected in a way, like idk two have the same therapist, two have older siblings that play a sport together/go to the same college

they all have this weird connection like theyre meant to be together in this class learning about the same thing, eachother and their ways of thinking (maybe like psychology or smth)

idk if this makes sense at all, im not a writer but that’s just me scrambling my thoughts lol

Gently trying to push to find out why Thisisnotawebsitedotcom took my artwork.

I'm still not like, angry about it. Just sort of confused as to why somebody from an official Gravity Falls website's art team decided to use my stuff when they've clearly got a huge amount of talented people on the project.

Again, I can't emphasise enough - it's spot on. It's pixel perfect. It even has weathering marks that I added, which the designer has attempted to cover up. Somewhat tellingly, it's also got a Greasy's diner coupon which is a very similar design to my own efforts, in the same location.

I get that this is fanart and it's all a good bit of fun but I would have at least liked to have been asked. I don't even expect to get anything out of this, just an acknowledgement of 'we took this unfairly' would be nice.

I even get that this is something most fans would be super proud of, even be excited by - but this is mostly just really, really strange. Like it doesn't make a lick of sense as to why they'd use a fan creation for this.

TUA SEASON 4 SPOILERS

okay so let me get this straight

Luther lost his wife then died as a stripper with a house that's falling apart

Diego died after just having found out his wife, who he'd been unhappy with for a long time, cheated on him with his brother

Allison died without a husband, with her career at a standstill, after not speaking to her family for years and without really fixing their relationship

Klaus died after relapsing after 3 years of sobriety, scaring his niece, without reuniting with Dave and with the additional trauma of being buried alive and sex trafficked

Five died having failed to stop the apocalypse - his only goal for the past, what, 60 years of his life - with unresolved feelings for Lila

Ben died suffering inside a huge blob that ended the world, never getting to be happy with Jennifer

Viktor died because he finally, FINALLY dared to question and oppose his father, after being unable to maintain a stable relationship with a woman for years (RIP Sissy ig)

Lila died stuck in an unhappy marriage, with conflicted feelings towards her husband AND his brother, with whom she had cheated

- why was abigail (i think thats her name?) on the moon and how did she inject jennifer with durango

- how were there so many people that had dreams about other timelines, how did the dreams look like, where did they get the artifacts

- how can abigail make those masks, did she inject herself with the durango considering she was also some sort of squid thing when killine Gene?

- (11:48am cet) does klaus know how ben died? like did ben tell him in the earlier seasons? DOES BEN EVEN KNOW HOW HE DIED? like no one told klaus when they got their memory back

- (8:39pm cet, lol help me) HOW DOES THE KLAUS PLOT THIS SEASON NOT MATTER TO ANYONE AT ALL, he was sober for three years, was forced to take the marigold so he wouldnt die, is obsessed with his family AND NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE HE WALKED ALL THE WAY BACK HOME! then gets killed and kidnapped to do seances, escapes and is buried alive while living through an endless loop of suffocation and revival before claire and allison found him AND NO ONE BATS A FUCKING EYE WHEN HES BACK? im not mad at all never

- how did they let a guy that looks 17 at max into the cia without any questions

- considering lila can mirror all the powers i feel like she only mirrors five and viktor, like imagine her having tentacles or seeing dead people

- WDYM FIVE MADE THE COMMISSION, HELLO? WHEN HOW AND WHY

- everything about the metro station, why were the promo posters with all of them when only lila and five went, what about the teaser with ben and multiple others in the metro, how does it work and how does the map work with the different stations so that they didn’t get home for 7 years, how many different timelines are there and which did they see, why was apocalyptic five shooting at them when after multiple years he was completely alone and then just shoots someone that looks exactly like him?

TUA SEASON 4 SPOILERS

i’ve never been so disappointed in umbrella academy. i really had high hopes for this season and they met those expectations were ruined the moment i watched episode 5. the way they managed to massacre two perfectly good characters and their perfectly good platonic relationship for the sake of more bullshit drama just hurts me greatly. five has been my favorite for all 5 years i’ve been apart of this fandom. and to see him turn from someone who cares greatly for his family and would never do anything to hurt them in any capacity to a literal home wrecker and someone willing to give up on his family so easily. and lila turning from a strong independent woman who is willing to fight for herself into a pawn being fought over by two dumbasss brothers. it just really sucks. these characters had so much love and heart out into them and really could’ve been more if they weren’t given the short end of the stick by terrible writing.

there could’ve better ways to create compelling drama without sacrificing the characters integrity.

so disappointed i don’t think i can look at umbrella academy aren’t the same again.

(stayed up till 3am to watch this with a friend 😭 never getting these hours of my life back. such time wasted.)

do you ever just read the most gut wrenching poetry (train girls from tiktok) and start bawling.

after a good 15 mins of bawling you want to sleep but the person from who it means most hasnt answered your good night text so you’re even sadder.

then you do decide to just sleep, you put your phone away, cuddle your blanket and plushie

and all the emotions, every bad thing thats ever happened to you, every little thing you feel about yourself just comes up. and you cant stop crying.

i am currently re-reading the book and have realized that, that quote is from the letter written on october 14th which is also my birthday.
