Rewatched the fallout show and I have a few thoughts

The sole survivor was a fan of soap operas and named codsworth after his voice’s original namesake

Also, the Mr. Gutsy voice was probably the original Mr handy voice

While not by name, they do mention vault 75

Position energy, as well as brands like slocum’s Joe, and even general atomics have their own mascots?? Like???

Also Vault Boy and Bottle canonically fucked and are gay

Lowkey Mr. House is a slightly better person than I thought for refusing to buy into vault tec’s whole thing

The whole NCR is gone. Like just. Gone.

Also it’s gone because one pre-war icicle asshole couldn’t deal with loosing custody of his kids after the divorce?? Like??

One of the dwellers in vault 4 said that her mother was a courier for the NCR and that she was away on business when Shady Sands was destroyed

(Which is a bit after the time in which New Vegas takes place, meaning that this courier could be The Courier)

(Which also imply that the NCR path could still be cannon to FNV)

Both the NCR and the Brotherhood have vertibirds, and vault tec also used them for private transportation for high level executives

Western (and perhaps all) brotherhood members are required to take an oath of celibacy (need to incorporate this into more fics tbh)

Fusion core lifespans are a lot more accurate to the original games, with them lasting longer and powering more

Bartering system (not just caps) is just as common as it is on the east coast

Axolotls are only native to one lake in Mexico, and their presence as gulpers in SoCal implies that many animals have gained the ability to accommodate to different habititats due to radiation exposure

Due to the Axololt’s regenerative abilities , it would be interesting to see if the loss of a limb would cause a hydra-like situation, especially considering gamma radiation has odd effects on healing, as well as the risk of mutation

“Dogmeat” seems to be an affectionate term for CX401 that the ghoul uses to refer to him, and is perhaps wasteland slang for a domesticated dog instead of a actual name.

The drug that turns wastelanders into ghouls seems to be extremely similar to the one Hancock references taking, making it perhaps a pre-war medication to survive the effects of nuclear war

Was it just me or did everyone else think bottle and cappy were married??

Vault boy is canonically a top

Vault tec encourages sleeping with a co-worker to boost productivity

Also things like vacation days and bathroom passes were not supposed to be used out of respect for the company

Favorite thing about my current playthrough is that I decided not to romance macready and I think that it made him glitch and now every 30 minutes hes constantly asking me if he overshared and also what we are to each other and I just have to keep freindzoning him. Horribly in character for the pathetic rat man. 10/10 great job beyhatzda
