A Sirius who takes pride in his magic, who running with James, created a number of spells. James was his everything, his fun, his heart, his best friend, he was, essentially Sirius’ magic. It was that, exactly that, Sirius wanted to keep protected, which is why when he cast his Patronus and a bright strong stag soared from the tip of his wand he’d kept it hidden.

“Oh I can’t cast it.” Sirius had said quite simply whenever he was asked. It was inconvenient for the order but knowing his home life nobody pried. Knowing the suspicion they cast on him for his family, Sirius wasn’t surprised.

Sirius was often a bit afraid, really, of what his Patronus meant. A swimming feeling in his stomach, even with the blinding happiness that swarmed the stag. To ruin their relationship- to ruin James with these feelings, that was a nightmare. So it was most unfortunate what his reality was afterwards. After his death, after the imprisonment. Each hour he thought about James, his eyes, his chest, still, and glasses broken off to the side.

When his feet, for the first time in twelve years, touched the cold, damp grass of a forest just beyond a nasty shore, he’d fumbled for the wands he’d nabbed from guards, most of them having sunken to the bottom of the ocean, surely. There was one left, just one, and it felt right, clutching it, praying like a muggle. “Expecto Patronum” he’d rasped like a lifeline.

Knowing what he’d see, that stag, James, his James, still alive in this way. All at once the fiery blue dies out , a rush of pure grief flooding him. ‘Think’ he thought, tying to grasp at any happy memory of his heart, finding nothing but broken glasses and open, unseeing eyes.

Don’t think he gave up. Again and again, that year he’d manage a wand, or at times just his hands, pleading to James’ soul to show itself. It does not come. He calls and James does not answer. His grief weighed more than his love, it seemed, and it pulled and pulled him deeper and deeper into its sludge-like ocean with all the wands he’d cast with lying at the bottom.

“Oh? No, I can’t cast it, kiddo.” Sirius snorts nonchalantly, leaning back in his chair so far Harry thought he ought to be horizontal. “But yours is brilliant enough for the both of us.”

Please, please, please do not remake Harry Potter

I am not saying this as a die hard fan

I am not saying this because there is absolutely no way they could replicate the level of detail or quality of the casting of the films

I am not saying this because it will likely be an over cgi-ed mess

I am saying this because J K Rowling has proven time and time again that she is a person who is not deserving of a public platform.

Given the chance to do absolutely anything with her wealth and fame she has used it to spew vitriol and hatred as well as blatantly spread misinformation.

Not to mention the entire reboot project is the direct result of most of the original films cast disavowing her views.

Over the years a woman who was once a champion of the underprivileged and abused has become radicalised in front of our eyes and this new show will shed even more light on her and introduce her to a new younger audience vulnerable to her viewpoint.

There are many reasons not to remake the films but we need to acknowledge this for what it is: Rowling’s attempt to recapture the limelight through targeting a younger less informed fan base.

The first time she ever fell in love was with Snape. She had just gotten her Hogwarts letter and went there, and she’s just happy that she fell in love with someone who might like her back.

She died when she was 21, but also she had lived so much in those years, she had gone through so much. She had fought Voldemort, she had lost friends, made friends. Fallen in love twice.

People say I look happy, just because I got skinny

When she had gotten skinnier during the war due to stress and not eating enough, people complimented her on losing weight (obviously not her friends but people in the Order.) People saw her as happier and healthier when she lost weight when really she was so unhealthy and felt depressed.

But the old me is still me, and maybe the real me, and I think she’s pretty.

Lily didn’t want to be skinny, she knew it was because of the war and it hurt her that she wasn’t really healthy but everybody thought she was. She knew she was prettier before. James had married her while she wasn’t skinny, and she loved her body before.

I still cry

During the war she had tried so hard to keep positive but it was so hard, she had cried so much, she had lost so much. She had lost too much, her friends, her family.

Am I acting my age now?

Dumbledore had told her that the way she was acting would get her killed in a war, because she was passionate about keeping all her friends. When she died she had thought if this was what he had meant, to act her age was to die apparently.

When Lily and Snape went to Hogwarts, Snape wanted Lily to just be friends with him. He didn’t want her to make other friends and have her own opinions. When they stopped being friends Snape told Lily nobody would want to be hers anyways. It stuck with Lily for a bit.

Lily’s life after the war was just trying so hard to stay positive, I was like a mask. And Dumbledore could control so much of her life after they had Harry, and she just had to be a part of it.

Jegulus from what I've seen is just drarry in maurauders era like from what I see from some that I have followed how jegulus is written has drarry elements that was slapped into jegulus

But why Jegulus?? I can see the appeal since Reggie is Sirius' brother. But if you want a Drarry ship for the marauders' era, you have Jeverus and Snack right there!

Well, Snack more than Jeverus.

I think Jeverus is more like Dramione. Like Dramione, James' bullying of Snape was partly due to Lily. Part of the reason Draco even notices Hermione is due to Harry.

But Snack is perfect! Snape and Sirius have entertaining exchanges as adults and they are so toxicly obsessed with each other. Sirius' attacks on Snape just seem way more personal and vicious than James'. Of course, James has his SA moment but Sirius reads like a more malicious person when it comes to Snape. And just like with Drarry, when Snape and Sirius are in the same space, their focus is solely on the other. Plus, the dynamic between the two as adults seems way more equal.

And Snape fits better too than Reggie. He's halfblood and grew up in an abusive household. While Sirius is the well cared for cocky pureblood who comes from a rich family.

Snack should be more popular than Jegulus! At least with Snack, bitch Evans can be the trophy wife for her rich, asshole husband and poor Reggie can be left alone to have a personality outside of James and being a Snape copycat. Justice for Regulus!
