Well currently it's in the back corner crying in migraine but I've been slowly working on it and narrowing down how I want the broad events to go! It's dialogue heavy by nature of Deathstroke having no idea what fallout is or what's happening and due to the amount of things that want to do nothing but Kill Everything, character is doing their level best to not forget important things. But also, I hate dialogue so I've been mentally writing it by vibe so far

But once I actually get something concrete down on (digital) paper I will tag you if you'd like :)

Also with such conversation starters as!

"Oh yeah, for some reason the radiation made chameleons gigantic fuck off death machines over 8 feet tall that can leap at you. Also they hunt in packs." "So, this area has coyote rattlesnakes. Yeah it was animal experimentation, and oh some of them can turn invisible. Yeah it's a thing." "Oh there's super mutants over there. Uh, well, yknow Bane? But green." "Quick question, just a small one, how does your healing deal with radiation? Oh no reason let's avoid this area"

I wanted to let you know that I also had a Deathstroke dream. Mine was him laughing at me as I ran away from fallout universe raiders because I couldn't hip fire a sniper rifle though

And yes, it definitely spawned an entire fic idea and I had to stare at the wall for a moment like, well, this might as well happen and I might as well enjoy it

Nobody is happy and it borders crack and serious at such a fine line, but I'm loving mentally writing it so far

It's 110% Klarions fault due to magical plot hand wavey reasons but part of negotiations for not dying and recruiting him will go as such

okay so to be fair I didn't word that perfectly and Jason does not have innocent pure vampire burning nipples. He does, however, have silver cross nipple piercings and he feels zero shame in this fact. Others treat this fact like it does, actually, burn them though. (The fact that he chose Crosses, out of all things and that he shows them off without prompting.)

we need to bring back anon kink memes in a big way. no one is horny enough anymore. the other night i found a fic on an old kink meme from 2009 that was so well-written and also so raunchy and foul (affectionate) it could have stripped paint off my car. there is something about truly unapologetic filth that can be transcendent and tender and marrow deep and maybe if we all leaned into being anonymous depraved little weirdos again we'd learn how to have more fun.

I had a migraine thought.

Vampire and werewolf massage therapists. Vampires specialize in targeted muscle release and their colder skin helps reduce pain especially for face/neck/eye migraine help. Werewolves run warmer, and help reduce muscle tension when doing more full body stuff.

I just really want a multi hour massage session to fix my body and that sounds heavenly

Tiktok really is wild and shows just how out of touch with the reality of fiction/fandom so many are these days. I've had multiple fics of mine be recced by people on TikTok and each time the comment section inevitably spirals in the same direction. Just comment after comment about how disgusting and deplorable I am as a person for writing pairings like AiDeku, despite all of my works being AUs and clearly tagged with stuff like "No Underage" etc etc (which honestly shouldn’t matter anyways if we're being honest). While I refuse to let this kind of stuff hit me deeply, people wonder why authors aren't updating or why so many of us who used to be prolific have died off and let me tell you it's an uptick in stuff like this right here. There used to be an understanding that so much of fandom was just people playing Barbies, smashing two blorbos together for the fun of it. Now there's this huge push towards it supposedly being proof of an individual's personal morality and as a creator it's exhausting. Do these people think every horror book writer/movie creator/actor condones their character's actions in real life? Do they seriously not understand how dangerous it is to not be able to draw that line between fiction and reality?
