Hard pill to swallow for the SHEIN Girlies

One of the hardest pills to swallow for regular people in regards to saving the planet seems to be that they just DO NOT want to go without any of the luxuries they have gotten used to

To those I will say: You cannot deny any longer that overconsumption is a major problem and cause of so much environmental pollution and destruction.

People always say 'oh but I'm just one person'. Yeah everyone is just one person until everyone thinks that way. People use it both to absolve themselves of any wrongdoing and to defend their apathy. It is the main logical fallacy that gets in the way of progress.

This site is terrible at boycotting. You guys immediately jumped on the "Big 3 Boycott" for Palestine when we're supposed to be boycotting 13 companies. The amount of people I have seen that have been crying about the Big 3 Boycott and then don't say shit about these other companies is ridiculous.

Starbucks is being boycotted because Starbucks employees since they are suing their union over pro-Palestine Tweets. Disney isn't even being boycotted because the 2 mil they donated was to non-profit charities focusing on emergency medical care and aid for children. Boycott Disney if you want, I don't give a shit, but focus on the companies that are donating to the Israeli government/IDF.

I don't wanna hear shit about Macdonalds or Starbucks if you can't mention these companies:

Beatrice had just finished putting the grounds in the coffee maker when Ava stumbles out of their bedroom, yawn halfway in effect as she rubs a hand over her face. Her borrowed boxer shorts are slung low over her hips, and her sleep shirt exposes her midriff when she brings her arms overhead in a languid stretch. Beatrice almost (almost!) overfills the water container in the coffee maker, but she catches her blunder in time. 

The coffee maker whirs and growls as it heats up the water and starts to drip into the pot, and Beatrice reaches into the cupboards above her for two mugs before she finally feels a pair of arms wrap snug around her waist. Ava’s chin hooks over her shoulder, and the sleepy grumble that accompanies the motion is muffled in the crook of Beatrice’s neck.

Beatrice rests the mugs against the countertop before turning around to greet Ava with a kiss on her forehead, fingers linking around the back of her neck. “Good morning, darling.”

A sigh of contentment as Ava settles more firmly against her. “G’morn’, babe.” She nuzzles Beatrice’s collarbone, presses a soft kiss there. Another one higher up on her neck. She eventually stands on her tiptoes for one more kiss, but her trajectory is flawed – off-course, her aim lands along the curve of Beatrice’s jaw instead. 

Beatrice smiles, a corner of her mouth quirked upwards; Ava’s irresistible on the best of days, but in the mornings, she’s just too – 

“Cute.” The adoration comes out on an exhale, automatic like breathing. The fact is this: Beatrice takes pride in her discipline and self-control. The act of loving Ava, however, requires neither; hasn’t, not for a long time, and Beatrice chuckles softly before her lips find their place on the apple of Ava’s cheek. She lingers for one moment, two – and in the beat between the second and third, she feels a satisfied hum rumble its way from Ava’s throat. 

The aroma of coffee wafts through the living room and saturates the spaces between them, filling in the missing puzzle piece – it’s not really a morning without the promise of fresh caffeine, paired with the lovely, skewed kisses from one delightfully sleepy Ava.

Fingerprint locked wealth

The main thing a lot of people don't seem to understand is that, you really can't take money/wealth from the rich and give it to the poor in the way you used to. The rich do not actually hold any real cash or gold in some big treasure room. The vast majority of their wealth is in assets and companies etc.

And the main crux of this is that the value of said companies has THEIR fingerprint on it. It is only worth what it is because THEY own it. If someone somehow took over Amazon by force in some way, or if the government did, the value of that company would immediately tank, which means all the money it's worth goes poof!

The monetary value of that company has Bezo's fingerprint on it. Only he can unlock it, this is what is so insidious. I have grown up around these types of people. They do not see you as human. They do not think of you at all actually. It's like you don't exist to them, because they almost never see anyone outside their own class.

I know it sounds counterintuitive but our mission should not be to take the wealth from the wealthy, because that is both life threatening and futile. But rather, we should aim to make their wealth worthless indirectly, by not participating in the system anymore. Opt out. Refuse the deal. Don't buy their shit. We are aiming to create that possibility of opting out asap.

GreenHorizon's phase 1 goals will be to establish food sovereignty and licence to grow industrial hemp, create new sustainable housing developments and eco villages to be given to vulnerable people for free, then regular people later also for free. Then we begin to start our own free healthcare clinics, of which the nurses and doctors will also be given free housing close by. We would maybe have a local currency in the beginning and then gradually transition into a mutual aid union of communities/tribes.

This is how we opt out. I will be starting the charity officially next year asap, I already have some trustees secured. Follow to be part of the revolution

Getting tired of Avalance. Their relationship adds nothing to the story or even to the characters themselves. It’s toxic. The level of jealousy and pettiness that Ava puts into the relationship is far from healthy. Dating someone who would break your boundaries simply because they can’t handle waiting for you to tell them is not romantic. Dating someone who wants you to prioritize being “in their corner” over your own morality and everyone else in your life is not romantic. Dating someone who constantly ignores your feelings and makes decisions without considering you is not romantic.

Sara isn’t perfect either, but Ava’s “flaws” are giant red flags. And while there’s Ava talking about things with Sara, Sara never once talks about her trauma with her girlfriend, and once they get married, well, Sara no longer has thoughts or feelings that don’t have to do with Ava.

Possibly an unpopular opinion but I like Ava's friendship with Mick FAR more than her romantic relationship with Sara. Ava and Mick actually have chemistry. Ava and Sara on the other hand feels forced. Ava treats Sara like there's something there that needs fixing and that just rubs me the wrong way.
