This site is terrible at boycotting. You guys immediately jumped on the "Big 3 Boycott" for Palestine when we're supposed to be boycotting 13 companies. The amount of people I have seen that have been crying about the Big 3 Boycott and then don't say shit about these other companies is ridiculous.

Starbucks is being boycotted because Starbucks employees since they are suing their union over pro-Palestine Tweets. Disney isn't even being boycotted because the 2 mil they donated was to non-profit charities focusing on emergency medical care and aid for children. Boycott Disney if you want, I don't give a shit, but focus on the companies that are donating to the Israeli government/IDF.

I don't wanna hear shit about Macdonalds or Starbucks if you can't mention these companies:

Domino's Pizza

Papa Johns Pizza

Pizza Hut

Burger King

AVA

Puma

Sodastream

Siemens

Sabra

AHAVA

Carrefour

HP (Hewlett-Packard)

And of course, any goods produced in Israel.

For the love of God, focus on the companies on the list and listen to BDS, the ones organising the boycott.

I need to stop assuming I know how to do things.

I thought I could upgrade a HP Compaq 8200 Elite Small Form Factor computer with a new hard drive and RAM. The schematics made it seem pretty easy. What I failed to realize is that there's a bracket thingy in there which houses both the hard drive and DVD drive… which makes it impossible to remove the hard drive without a bunch of █████. Even then, I'm not sure the solid state disk is going to fit in there properly since it's so damn small. I think I might need a caddy / an adapter for it.

Also? Whoever refurbished this computer played a dirty / smart trick. I ordered another 2x4 GB RAM sticks, assuming that I could pair them with the 2x4 that are already in there. Joke's on me, it has 4x2, meaning I need to order another pair of 2x4 sticks.

I hate messing with computers. I really do.

A touchy situation with an HP laptop, hopefully resolved

It's good when a company responds quickly and helpfully to a problem with its product by fixing it for free. It's not as good when two products in a row have you experiencing the company's support machinery.

I recently had the opportunity to buy a cheap "blind box" laptop; essentially you pay a relatively small amount for a refurbished laptop with the guarantee that you'll get at least certain specs -- a minimum hard drive size, minimum processing speed, etc -- but with the understanding that it may be scratch-and-dent or have weird extra features.

Mine recently arrived and uh.

I mean.

They weren't wrong about the appearance being unexpected.

I could have my laptop on...its covered in some Louis Vuitton...but even when it's not turned on, bet I made you look....
