PART 1.

Aight!! I will be just pointing out some differences/stuff that was deleted from the anime.

Under the cut

THE DUNGEON SCENE:

-When they first meet again in the manga, they throw some silly jokes at each other (like Dazai asking Chuuya if he's hiding a bald spot. And Chuuya just taking his hat off to show him he's, in fact, not balding)

-In the manga when Chuuya calls Dazai the youngest mafia executive, in his mind Dazai is wearing his ADA clothes but keeps the black coat and the bandaged eye. I think it's a very silly detail

-In the anime, in anger Chuuya actually cuts Dazai's cheek with his knife. In the manga, the moment he starts getting angry he jumps away from Dazai and then throws the knife to the floor, not touching him at all

-Manga Chuuya falls to his knees (basically standing on all 4s), having a lil crisis after realizing Dazai only stayed in the dunegon to meet him. He gets up in a while, just to yet again squat on the floor after Dazai yapps more

-Obviously the pigeon-stand scene: in the manga Dazai is laughing to tears at this, while in the anime he stays silent. (Tho i must say i find it funny that Chuuya gets angry over Dazai not laughing,, like he tried so hard and this guy just :| him)

LOVECRAFT FIGHT:

-This is not about skk but lord yall know that panel where Chuuya ie standing on all these Guild ppl being all like im gonna beat ur ass next. He's just standing normally on the floor in the anime. Aughhhhh this panel is so good aughhhh. Ok anyway back to skk

-When Dazai nullifies John's ability, in the anime Chuuya just kicks Steinbeck from behind. In the manga, skk perform that silly move where Chuuya jumps from behind Dazai. It just shows how even after 4 years of not working with each other, they instantly work together as well as before

-Skk arguing about who's walking next to who like some preschoolers ('dont walk next to me' 'its you who's standing next to me' typa thing) then deciding that they're gonna stay at least 2 metres away from each other

-The manga clearly shows Chuuya's expression when he's talking about 'being happy when Dazai left'. He definitely doesn't look very happy. (In the anime we just get some background drawings)

-Manga Chuuya's lil blush when Dazai compliments his taste in shoes 😭😭

-When Dazai asks for Chuuya's knife, in the manga Chuuya just goes 'oh sure lemme find it' and is actually ready to give him the knife. In the anime? Chuuya doesn't search for the knife, instead he just gets annoyed

-Anime deleted the scene where Dazai talks to Chuuya about recording Kunikida while he was cursed with Q's ability. Chuuya going bruh he also annoys ppl in the agency

-those two idiots calling each other stupid nicknames for half of a page

-Chuuya mentioning keeping a track of women Dazai made cry and threatening him with sending them Dazai's address????

-Dazai telling Chuuya that his intelligence will be consumed by his hat (im currently looking at my polish version of the manga so the translation may be a bit off but anyway)

-Before activating Corruption, they yet again call each other a bunch of stupid nicknames (ahah consider this a silly form of goodbye if anything happens)

-Remember my post about Dazai keeping his eyes on Chuuya at all times during Corruption in the manga? In the anime he looks either at John or at Lovecraft, no puppy eyed loser

-Just a mention that in the manga we see Chuuya sleeping while he's sitting, he doesn't flop passed out to the ground (until later)

Well i will stop there for now bc it's past midnight and umm this is gonna be long af if i continue with the rest so,, i will add the differences in the next skk interactions tomorrow or something muah

Ten things the Twilight animated series can do better than the original movies (if they care enough to, please add all your own points to this as I will, too.) :

1. Include ALL of the book scenes, without having to change them to make them easier to film (for obvious reasons, since it’ll be animated they shouldn’t have much issue there.)

2. Their daughter, Remoulade can actually look like the book described her (or better or worse) and not the CGI monstrosity we got twelve years ago.

3. Make all the characters fit their book looks to complete accuracy. Alice was 4’10 and the movies made her 5’5. They let Edward have brown hair when he’s a ginger. Jacob and the wolf pack had better be above 6’5! I want 23 year old Carlisle and 26 year old Esme playing parents to like three legal adults and two 17 year olds.

4. The parentification of Bella Swan, by both of her parents, mustn’t be ignored. Bella was making sure the bills were getting paid by the time she was 10 cause her mom was ‘too flighty and distracted’ to do things like that consistently, she also learned to cook and clean early on too because her mom’s cooking was inedible and she’d improperly mix cleaning solutions dangerously. She got a job at 14 and took care of the groceries and any other issue necessary on top of being in AP classes in school. By the time she moved in with Charlie, she was basically more of a parent than he was. He did the bare minimum to ensure her car’s safety by installing snow chains on her tires without telling her and she cried because she wasn’t used to being taken care of.

5. How she cries when she’s angry is peak girlhood and I hate that they got rid of that in the movies. She stomped her feet bro, like c’mon she was so angry and anxious and annoyed all the time and they only focused on her angst.

6. Integrate aspects of Midnight Sun too, maybe incorporate them both so we can get a more full story. Twilight on its own was a bit of a snooze fest compared to Midnight Sun. We’re gonna pretend that Edward hunting and eating Esme’s abusive ex-husband isn’t hot af?

7. Add in more character’s back stories. Alice’s abusive father and stepmother, Emmett’s gambling and womanizing as a human in Tennessee, etc.

8. Unfortunately we need to make it clear that Charlie’s not winning any father of the year awards here either. He congratulated Jacob after forcing a kiss on her and joked about Jacob pressing assault charges on her after she breaks her hand punching him away.

9. Maybe ask why the Cullens…’need’ so desperately to come back to Forks every couple of years? Like they’re multi-billionaires, they’re immortal and there are plenty of gloomy, cloudy places they could live in semi-permanently. Why Forks when they know the Quileutte tribe knows what they are and they know it makes them so uncomfortable? It just seems unnecessary.

10. More of Edward reading Mike Newton’s inner-monologue. I know it would depend on whose perspective we get but I think the idea is hilarious.

A/N: To be honest, I had to think about it for a long time, with all four XD But I think it could work. If you don't like it, that's my opinion!

He would want to spend time with you all the time

He would turn his teasing into flirting just to see you blush

If you are human, he sometimes accompanies you to school and back home

During your lessons, he sometimes writes to you

If you were a mutant, Leo would always challenge you to strange things, but sometimes let you win, just to see you happy

Sometimes he wins with a lot of distance and he tries to "cheer you up"

If you were a Yokai, he would ask you strange questions

"What were you born as?" "Are you interested in mutants and humans? Are you something like bisexual?" "Oh my God, imagine if we started a family, how funny our children would look!" (After the last question, he usually locks himself in his room because he is ashamed)

Although Leo is very self-absorbed, he also sometimes gives you compliments or dreamy looks (maybe also everytime cough cough)

When you are not together, Leo thinks about you 24/7. He just can't get you out of his head

Inside, he sometimes fights with himself about whether he should write to you, but he doesn't want to annoy you too much

Sometimes he also has his low points, where he sometimes wonders if he is even good enough for you

If you are a human, he would sometimes wonder if you would even find a mutant attractive

Raphael:

Raph would try to continue to act tough and he would try to treat you just like everyone else

But it's incredibly difficult for him

If you're human, he'll always want to help you

A glass is too high for you to reach? He'll lift you up or bring it down for you. You're hurt or not feeling well? Raph turns on his mother switch and he'll take care of you until you feel better

If you are a mutant, Raph can only admire you

No matter what kind of animal you are, he would always find details about you that he finds beautiful

If you were a Yokai, Raph would first ask you about Big Mama

But he just can't hide his admiration. When you show up in front of him as a human, he is always briefly shocked because you very rarely walk around as a human with him

But he likes you, as a human and as a mutant or Yokai

When his brothers make annoying comments, he ,,coolly" waves them off

Leo: "Hey Y/N, Raph is staring at you again!" Raph: "I am not! I was just looking past her, nothing more!" *blushes af*

Raph also likes to carry you around on his shoulders. He loves to see you laugh or feel your hands on his head

Whenever Raph sees you laugh, his eyes sparkle and his heart beats so much faster, sometimes it even overwhelms him

But sometimes he thinks that he is neglecting his role as leader because he mostly focuses on you

When you two are not together, Raph talks about you all the time, in front of his family. It even annoys Mikey now-

Donatello:

Donnie didn't want to admit it at first, but whenever he's near you, he feels comfortable and safe

If you're human, Donnie would help you with your homework and exams

Since he can't go to school himself, he's always happy to help you. When you sometimes had home schooling, you even called him so he could listen

If you were a mutant, Donnie would first research everything about your species

So when he finds out what your species likes to eat, he finds that food for you and brings it to you

If you were a Yokai, Donnie would be even more interested in you

He would always ask you questions, take notes and he also constantly asks if you could do certain tests for his research (nothing that could harm you <3)

He keeps everything secret though, he would be deeply ashamed if his brothers or you found out

When you are not together, Donnie looks at old selfies that you took together or he asks Sheldon what is wrong with him

"I think you are in love, master Donatello." "Don't be stupid, Sheldon… Y/N is just…" Silence. "Oh holy banana pancakes."

Most of the time Donnie closes himself off from you, hoping his feelings would fade (spoiler: they got stronger)

Michelangelo:

Poor little boy, is completely overwhelmed

At first he thought you were just a friend, like April, but no no, you are so much more

Whether you are human, mutant or yokai, you have found a special place in his heart

If you were human, Mikey would ask you stupid questions or he would let you buy his favorite pizzas to eat with you

You usually buy a lot in the afternoon, only to eat it with Mikey at night, usually watching Jupiter Jim movies at your home

If you were a mutant, Mikey would just stare at you in amazement, as if you were the most valuable thing in the world (which you are, to him)

When you are on missions, Mikey also likes to watch you fight to see how you move

If you were a Yokai, he would be completely surprised, because he thought the whole time that you were either a complete human or a complete mutant

But he doesn't really care what you are, he has mostly fallen in love with your personality

He behaves like a little child who sees the most beautiful person in the world (which again you are for him <3)

Mikey dreams about you, writes you sappy messages and constantly wants to have physical contact (for example holding hands, hugging or even a kiss on the cheek)

TONE DEAF :: Rosita and Norman <3

The first in a [hopefully] series of redesign + headcanon posts where I give you my take on a character for my AU

I'm grouping the two together because a] a lot of fluff headcanons I have, they share [because they're literally husband and wife]. And b] if I made an individual post for every single character, I... would go insane. So yeah. A bunch of characters are gonna get clumped together.

HEADCANONS // BACKSTORY ⬇️

Me and the bad bitch I pulled by being autistic [also autistic]

Both of them are the same age, mid to late thirties.

In terms of general intelligence: Rosita has gifted IQ, while Norman is at genius level.

I know. I know Norman seems kinda dim in the movies. But guys [LMAO]. "I know it looks like there's nothing happening behind those eyes, but...... he can make entire computers!"

He's so smart yet so stupid. He's that kind of character. Like he can do all of this super impressive shit, and is super talented and can do math like BOOM done, but he's also kinda a "deer-in-the-headlights" when it comes to life [I LOVE HIM 👹]

Both of them worked hard and have their college degrees almost completely paid off at this point because of the scholarships they earned.

Rosita has a degree in engineering, Norman's a computer scientist.

They're both in STEM, it's just that Rosita likes to handle more of the mechanical aspects of things while Norman's better with the technical stuff, which I think is cute af.

Yin and Yang <3

This dynamic is just how they are too. How they act. Like for example, Rosita can be very to-the-point-

She's very much a problem solver and will get right to it once she understands what she's doing. Like yeah, she often takes a very methodical approach to it [see the scene where she's got all the papers laid out to try and learn to dance- very new territory for her], but once she learns, she gos all in. And EATS.

Norman's gotta have a plan before doing anything, meanwhile. He has a morning routine that can't be interrupted or else his whole day and mood will be thrown off. He reads through a recipe twice before even starting. That kind of stuff.

He's a lot more hesitant to even try.

A lot of people find Norman boring. But Rosita is enraptured by every word he says, she LOVES his long spiels about hyper-specific [and often mundane] things.

AAAA--

Norman is also a closeted DORK. He ran a tabletop games club in highschool with a couple other of his geeky ass friends [he's still into D&D to this day and has introduced Rosita to the game too]

[she's fun to play with, but super competitive. This goes for ANY game, actually, not just D&D. She'll kinda accidentally turn everything into a "contest" due to her inability to not do her very best] [it's mostly inspirational, not annoying, if that makes sense?]

I also wanna say Norman was in a weird amount of drama that he didn't want to be in at this time. Like all of his friends had falling-outs, and he was just always caught in the middle of it.

He's afraid of confrontation [UNLESS IT'S FOR HIS WIFE] [HE STANDS UP FOR HER RAHHHH] [this is gonna happen when I get to rewriting Sing 2, he's NOT just gonna take Crystal calling his WIFE "mommy pig"]

They're sooo "excuse me, he asked for no pickles"

Norman and Rosita technically met in high school, in Junior year when Norman first moved to Calatonia.

WHICH, he and his family did this because this was a point in time where laws having to do with the rights of animals were VERY flimsy, and Calatonia was one of the first and only safe places at the time-- for Pigs especially, actually.

The 3 Little Pigs is deadass CANON TO SING. So Pigs were/are actually a marginalized species in this universe.

So anyway, they "met" in high school- Norman totally crushed on Rosita from afar whenever he'd catch her in volleyball matches-

Rosita had a major tomboy phase throughout high school, slowly falling out of it during college [still only saves dresses and skirts for special occasions really]

[[Fun fact, Rosita is also sapiosexual [attracted to intelligence] [Roxanne Ritchi ahh] ]]

They actually got introduced to eachother and had a proper arc when they went to the same college [which might've been a college in Redshore actually? But I'm not 100% sure on that headcanon. It would line up since Rosita's "wanted to perform in Redshore since she was a little kid" and Redshore is obviously a massive city with a lot of notoriety. Idk though- and it's not really that important to the story anyways]

Norman and Rosita had plans together- they were gonna make it big and live freely. Things were looking up with the lawmakers, who were finally repealing a bunch of nasty stuff that was put in place during the war times. And the two had hope that their dreams could actually be accomplished.

Rosita, who was originally gonna play it safe and become an engineer, was now thinking about attempting to become a performer [which Norman has supported since the beginning, he LOVES her singing, and often tells her that she's "better than some of the people I've heard on TV!"]

But. Life got in the way...

Present day, Norman works in Redshore at Crystal Enterprises. He's the head of some sort of organizational team- not really working on what he loves at this point.

And this is because of their children, who were a very sudden appearance in their lives [which is why we see so much struggle in the chaos at the beginning of the movie in this AU]

Rosita stopped everything, and Norman grabbed the first high-ish paying job he could, spending all his spare time on clocking in overtime hours.

The kids are all adopted, and there's only 6 now: Oldest Caspar [13], twin boys Mickey and Moe [11], middle child Kelly [9], little bro Freddy[8], and Zoey the sweet baby sister [6].

They became foster parents after the death of Rosita's sister [this hc is kinda subject to change, but this is the story rn. I'll specify on this later ☝️]

So Rosita's kinda put her life on hold for these babies. She's such a great mom to them, and they love her and Norman so much

But some of the older kids [Caspar specifically] are kinda in a rough phase since they feel like she resents them [which she doesn't], or that she isn't their "real mom" [which she IS]

This is like an E plot in the story, but definitely's gonna get at least a little bit of focus.

Rosita and Norman's marriage is falling apart just a little bit due to burnout, but it'll get better <3 [I can't do anything tragic to these two they're too sweet]

Norman snuggles up to Rosita in his sleep. Rosita starfishes LMAO

They wake up entangled. This is normal.

"Pig piles" are also a thing- there have been several nights where all six children "had nightmares" and so the family of 8 all slept in the same bed.

Norman has the best bond with the two girls out of all the children. They immediately latched onto him to be their level-headed dad.

Rosita can carry two kids at once easily, and often "relocates" them like this :>

She's probably the strongest out of everyone in the troupe if you don't count the potential Meena has. She solos.

She's constantly taking notes on everyone and everything around her. At the theater, you'll catch her tidying stuff up she spots out of the corner of her vision while you're having a conversation with her [she's still listening]. She knows everyones favorite foods, and allergies, and their preferences in things, etc. She's the most attentive and considerate out of all of them [the mom]

She may have a touch of OCD.

She gives the best hugs.

Rosita is also a FANTASTIC cook [not even a headcanon, I'm pretty sure the entire fandom agrees on this one] and often bakes stuff for her sweet-toothed children [and husband]

This is actually how she initially connected with Caspar, who refused to eat or speak at first when they were all placed with Rosita.

Cinnamon rolls.

Kelly will only eat the frosting off the top, and has ruined an entire pan before by doing this.

Rosita actually isn't the biggest fan of chocolate, small detail.

Idk why she just strikes me as not being an enjoyer.

Loves vanilla though. People are furious when she answers "vanilla" with zero hesitation to the chocolate vs vanilla question.

Norman is kinda a hopeless romantic, or at least really enjoys the aesthetic of it [in a sweet and not shallow way ofc], and goes all out every Valentine's Day: balloons, flowers, the works. He's learned that Rosita prefers strawberries over a box of chocolates, however. Has a tradition of getting a fruit basket for her <3

Clumsy. Always gets stung by wasps because he never takes out the net on time, falls for pitfall seed traps, and lots and lots of sea bass.

hyunjin: nicknames- hyune, hyunnie bun, jinnie, gorgeous, rapunzel, punzie, bob ross. he's rich. also sells his art. sarcastic, blunt, artistic, boujie, addicted to shopping. also likes to pretend he doesn't care, but probably cares too much. loves painting, drawing, and being lazy with his friends. a little in love with felix, no one can tell if he's serious or not. will absolutely start painting on the walls, floors, or ceilings just because he can. everyone loves it though.

jisung: nicknames- hanji, ji, hannie, babygirl, smokeshow, bud, han yolo. does random odd jobs and makes a suspicious amount of money from it + sometimes streams with felix. stoner, great friend, supportive, anxious, hyper, has mad adhd, loves anime, rapping, and sweets. he's a little weird but in a good and cute way. loves sharing his weed with his friends. also loud.

felix: nicknames- lixie, lix, pixie, sunshine, golden boy, richy rich, brownie boy, angel. also just rich, part time streamer. literally sunshine ofc. social butterfly. always trying to drag y/n or one of the boys somewhere. sweet, generous, kind, happy, excitable, loves cute things, baking, video games, and also anime. him and ji bond over it.

seungmin: nicknames- seungminnie, minnie, puppy, bitch, dickhead, devil. luxury dog walker (started his own dog walking business). sarcastic, sometimes rude, easily annoyed, but overall a great friend. likes dogs more than people. protective af but tries to hide it. will 100% shut off his rude and sarcastic comments if his friends really need him. loves pranks, coffee, singing, writing, and scary movies.

jeongin: nicknames- innie, in, babyboy, coffee boy, bigmouth. barista at a fancy coffee shop. wants to make his own money and not live off of his wealthy parents. sweet, kind, generous, can be sarcastic when he wants to be. loves animals, coffee, video games, asmr, and singing. can't keep a secret to save his life. plays innocent but is definitely not. once smoked weed and and cried because he couldn't remember how to make a latte. never smoked again. he's the only one of the boys who calls y/n noona.

y/n: nicknames- bug, bubs, princess, tiny, sweetheart, pretty, feisty, attitude, noona. has lots of secrets and trauma. no one knows what she does for work. she refuses to tell the boys and any time they have tried to find out she catches on and puts a stop to it. they just know she's getting paid well. sweet, kind, funny, people pleaser, messy. has an attitude sometimes and can hold a grudge. when in a fight or flight situation it's 50/50. she'll either punch you in the face or run so far her legs turn to jelly. acts confident and bold: isn't. just a great actress. gets sad often but pretends she's not. loves cooking, ghibli movies, plants/flowers, cuddling, fire, and her friends. hates her family. smokes with ji a lot but is a social drinker. she grew up really poor so she tends to get anxious about spending money/people spending money on her. 100% gets princess treatment regardless.

Initially I would have said no to Astarion being a blanket hog, because undead therefor can’t get cold, but then the holiday animation hit me with Astarion in a Snuggie and now I have to rethink everything

Truth of the matter is, he and Tav are both blanket hogs and it has started many an argument

Astarion doesn’t see the problem, he holds Tav like a hot water bottle, a mountain of blankets on top of them, wrap them both up in a blanket burrito and boom, everybody it warm

However, that also means there’s a good hour of Tav pressed up against his freezing body until their heat builds up enough to make up the difference, the least Astarion could do is get a full meal in so they don’t have to do all the work

Plus, Tav actually has to be able to breath so positioning can get difficult

They also have both developed a habit of not moving their sleep and curling up as small as possible

This can cause one of them (mostly Tav) to pull the blankets fully off the other and roll into their own personalized burrito

If Astarion does this, it’s not too hard for Tav to wake him up and slip under the blanket; again, they’re his hot water bottle and he also doesn’t really sleep; he’s still an elf and only requires four hours of trance a night

Still Astarion is a man who enjoys his comforts so just because he’s awake doesn’t mean he feel compelled to do anything in particular, besides, he’s not opposed to sleep

If Tav does this though, Astarion gets very annoyed and when he tries to take it back Tav fights because his feet are cold so it takes some more persuading and cuddles for them to loosen their grip

On that subject, snuggling was a bit of a slow burn for them; I wrote a headcanon here

Short version, it takes them a while to feel comfortable, but once they do, they can’t stop; babies are touch starved af

Most nights end with them holding or at least touching each other in some way

On a different note, Astarion does have to contend with nightmares, but he isn’t noisy about it

He doesn’t call out in his sleep or scream, he shakes and tenses until his body springs up eyes wide and alert

He’s torn more than one pillow with his nails gripping it too tight; he was just thankful it was the pillow and not Tav

He does his best to deal with them on his own, he doesn’t want to be more of a burden then he already feels he is

That does stop him from curling a little more around them, or listening to their heart beat until he can feel it in his own chest

Tav has woken a few times to him doing this, but doesn’t usually say anything, if he wants to talk about it he will, there’s no forcing it

Tav is a little less graceful with their nightmares

They don’t come as often, but they do come loud and sudden

They already mumble in their sleep as is; nothing major, just little things here and there, deep sighs and low grumbles

Astarion has learned to ignore most of it, but he can’t ignore and sudden cry of “no” right beside him

It’s not often he gets to play savior, but he can pull Tav out of their own head and back to the waking, safe and sound

It’s new for both of them, allowing themselves to be in that vulnerable a position with someone else, but it’s something they quickly find they don’t do without

I love the idea of Bill putting a ton of time and effort into the etc. with teeth and animals, thinking its super cute & romantic, even if Ford doesn't necessarily agree. I loved the "Ford" in rats in the BoB because it just perfectly fits into Bill's weirdness.

Does Bill have favorite animals to give to Ford? Are there certain animals he gets for different events (anniversaries, birthdays, holidays).

Does Ford ever talk to anyone about this? I don't know if the henchmaniacs exist in your au, but if they do, does Ford ever rant to Pyronica or other maniacs about how weird he finds the rats when Bill supposedly isn't watching?

bill doesn’t have a specific manner about giving gifts, all his decisions are based on if the animal is “in season” which means it was the first and most interesting animal he could find (dead or soon to be dead). ford actually prefers the already dead ones, the wetness of fresh kill is not his favorite to clean off his desk.

you’re correct about the henchmaniacs not existing in alt-ford’s universe. and bill is not on talking terms with his version since they didn’t bail him out of theraprism. alt-ford probably has some unspecified friends that he texts about it, but not necessarily because he is weirded out by it. more annoyed that bill got blood all over his stuff again. overall ford is extremely appreciative of bill’s gifts, he keeps a string of mummified mice about his desk like some horrible decorative garland.
