when am i going to get my multi-part anthology documentary series about The Animals made near-exclusively with the footage from those two cinéma vérité documentaries made in '65/'66 that do, in fact, still exist (because clips from both has been used in a couple of other documentaries about them)???
#bonus points for some unreleased 'ready steady go!' footage#i'm not kidding nor being overly bold when i say that at this rate i'm going to be the one to uncover those documentaries#still sticking to my conspiracy theory that the reason why those documentaries haven't been re-released in full yet#is because they depict alan in a relatively neutral if not completely amiable and sympathetic light which clashes against the way#he's been so often described in articles/documentaries/biographies about the band from the past 40+ years#again. just a conspiracy on my part buuuut...... it's an awful convenient way to keep alan as the 'bad guy' of the story#JEFFERY IS LITERALLY RIGHT THERE. BY THE WAY. IN THE DOCUMENTARIES AS WELL. BLAME HIM. GAHHHH#just the little clips we have from them i could over analyze for days....#like their american publicist asking if eric's going to go back to being a 'piano tuner' ohhhhhh#and seeing chas' reactions and expressions in general during the hotel argument ohhhhhhh he's out#apparently they film the moment where john quits the animals in early-'66 and jeffery argues with him..... gOSH. GOSH. GIVE IT TO ME......#anyway.... just some Thoughts#i'm happy beatles fans get another cool documentary sereies with a ton of unreleased footage too#just makes me wish we could get more regarding other bands... and NOT biopics. in the vein of 'becoming led zeppelin'#or in this case... RE-RELEASE MY UNBIASED ANINALS DOCUMENTARIES THAT WE KNOW EXIST IN FULL.
