I so wish I kept wish ASL back in high school but even then (cuz of this show!!) I learned some but not enough to talk with it.. I can kinda tell signs but not enough to know know. Sigh need an app like Duolingo but for ASL.. all the ones I find aren’t free after one or two lessons. Or just aren’t helpful. I used to use lifeprint but I like how Duolingo is laid out more like ‘game’ lessons to help idk.

Probably most of them, honestly, since I've not read the books and therefore have no particular attachments to how things are in them.

But while opinions vary in a crossover fandom as big as this, I can't think of many that are more unpopular than being 100% cool with the show throwing Tolya in with the Crows, including the hints at a little something with Inej (and Kaz??). Honestly, I think the whole thing might be a genius move, and as of now, I'm not the least bit worried that it will lead to some convoluted love triangle bullshit.

Even Tolya's implied possible book canon aroaceness doesn't feel like an issue to me. I mean, I'm very much on both of those spectrums myself and I actually did kind of vibe with show Tolya on that level even before learning about that one line in the books that hints at it. I mean... that's Lewis Tan. He could have brought hella smolder to the screen. Instead, Tolya just had the absolute safest, warmest, chillest vibes, and his interest in Inej feels very much based on respect and admiration. It makes sense to pair him with Inej, who comes with plenty of trauma and complication and would not be well-suited for virtually anyone else. Especially since Kaz, her first choice, is clearly not ready to be what she wants him to be yet.

And I mean, personally... I might never have been in love and be generally perfectly content without a romantic/sexual relationship, but if I ever find someone I really click with, I'm not going to be mad about it, am I? Why would he be? I understand that we're not all the same and that some of us would like to see the kind of representation where a character has zero interest in any kind of even remotely romantic or sexual entanglement, but... since it's a spectrum, we are not all the same, so no matter what, no aspec representation will ever be able to represent all of us.

And then there's the part where at least a part of the fandom seems to be mad about this because they view Inej as Kaz's exclusive property. Which... is pretty mind-boggling to me, all things considered, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. These attitudes die hard. But like... isn't it better if she goes be free for a while, grows and heals and finds herself for a bit, and then eventually returns to Kaz of her free will with a new Crow in tow? Would you rather she stick around out of guilt and duty and wallow in an unhappy, currently unresolvable situation?

I understand very well that book fans are attached to how things are in the books, but this has been a different story from the beginning, hasn't it? And I repeat: Tolya could be the best thing that ever happened to show Kanej. Not a threat but a possibility. I mean it.

Do you know why the Russian students in Mariinsky and Bolshoi productions of Nutcracker, Bayadere, Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, Don Q etc seem more well polished and extremely rehearsed than students at other top schools? Those kids have no mistakes or hesitations in their choreography. I’ve seen some videos of French kids doing the polonaise mazurka in POB’s Paquita via IG and they weren’t clean-like there were spacing issues and some hesitation that impacted the timing too. I get that the mazurka is a hard dance with a certain rhythm to dance to but how long do these French kids practice?

From what I do know I think the Russians rehearse a lot with the whole cast and orchestra and I think the teachers and higher ups there tend to be more stricter there than other countries. I’ve seen full grown men yelling at the dancers onstage during full stage rehearsal videos with children (Marco Spada and Don Q)

I also do think that the Russian “children” are older compared to NYCB productions. The youngest children at SAB onstage are like 7-9 years old. The youngest VBA students onstage are 10-11 which could make an impact on difficulty.

The Balanchine choreography for the SAB students (Nutcracker, Midsummer) tends to be more age appropriate but I think the Petipa choreography (Garland Waltz, Enchanted Garden from Corsaire) for the children is slightly harder! It was made during a time when the children were seen as “equals” to adults, and that explains why it looks harder. Most of the female students’ roles are en pointe (Little Cupids, Enchanted Garden, Garland Waltz, the two little girls in the jug dance in Bayadere), which isn’t the case with Balanchine children’s choreography.

You know, I see some shippers say that Dazai totally wants a double suicide with Chuuya, based on that Stormbringer scene, but I can't say I agree.

Do I think Dazai would find it romantic? Yeah. Do I think that Chuuya would die with Dazai, one way or another, depending on the situation? Kinda. But I genuinely don't think Dazai wants to kill himself with Chuuya. I don't think he wants anyone he actually cares for to die at all, actually, hence why he only asks strangers he doesn't care for but find pretty, because death is beautiful to him, but I think Chuuya probably was the first person that Dazai looked at and thought "I don't want him to die", just because Chuuya is so full of passion and life.

Actually, I think he'd even find it ugly, to see or even consider Chuuya lifeless, because he thinks Chuuya is the most beautiful thing with how alive he is.

Am I making sense?

People tend to forget that Dazai didn't always want a double suicide. This idea randomly popped into his head in the first episodes of the 1st season and yeah. So i dont think 16 Dazai would be thinking about a double suicide with Chuuya.

+ i just think that he doesn't even want a double suicide at all. It seems like a way to deter everyone's attention from his actual thoughts, since not once his 'double suicide' talks were taken seriously and are usually shown as something 'comedic'.

But i also don't think Dazai wants Chuuya to die simply because Chuuya was partially a reason Dazai decided not to give up on his own life. In Fifteen, Dazai was interested in the way Chuuya was holding onto the life he barely ever had or could call his. They literally had that whole 'so the suicidal maniac doesn't want to die anymore?' talk.

So i feel like Chuuya makes Dazai want to try living, so there's no reason for him to want to cut Chuuya's own life short in any way.

I still haven't read everything that is out yet so I am sorry if this is answered:

Were Sabs/Zoé both already into girls when they met or was either the other's awakening? As a writer Pan Zoé jumped out at me early, but I still brain Sabrina as het, despite all the obvious signs. I dunno why.

Bonus Q: Chloé, peacock or butterfly if given one? Also, good or villain arc?

zoé is already into girls. sabrina not really? like she doesn’t think about those kind of stuff (so she doesn’t think about boys either), like all she thinks about is her interests and studies until she met zoé (this is why i like noire’s version zobrina bc sabrina wants to go crazy and experience new stuff and zoé is that “bad” influence and hard enabler she needed) she got her priorities straight fr. sabrina is pretty oblivious about her feelings for zoé bc she has little to no experience with romance

oh man this is difficult (esp since i’m still not sure what powers i would give the peacock miraculous) but rn chloé would get the butterfly. in my lore its like if every bee holders are warriors/soldiers, then butterfly holders are the leaders. chloé likes being in lead. ngl i want bad arc but the butterfly miraculous is always used for bad stuff 😭

Well, this was my first year dong fanfiction so following my word count (without counting three comms of 5k words that i didnt upload) i write 65, 993 words this year!!! yippy!!

6. To my surprise, that will be "As we fall (You will be part of me)" my poem collection that i have a little abandoned (but i will be back tho heheheh :3)

7. Well tbh, with a few exceptions, i almost never use song lyrics as titles so for now i don't an especial artist that i use the most (but i predict that one will be surely Breaking Benjamin or Ethel Cain surely)

29.I have two coming from my two first works ever, and i cant chose just one so here it is:

The first one comes from the fourth chapter of A Father's child (my first fanfic, pls dont read it, is bad compared to my other works.), and i hold it close to my heart bc summarizes one of the main reasons why im so fixated in Lo'ak and Jake's relathionship, how difficult and fuck up it is, where there is intense amount of love but also a lot of past, guilt, and ghosts:

“I know that I’m a failure to you…” Lo’ak says with a broken voice, a single tear falls from his eye. “But is a lot of begging to look at me? Not as Toruk makto’s soldier or the kid that you were once time ago but as your son, Father….” More tears fall through his face, his voice cracking. “I’m your son, an imperfect one.”

 Jake thinks that statement it’s a cruel joke. Every time that he sees Lo’ak since his birth, the first sentence that come always to Jake’s mind is My child. The single one from his children of blood that came to this world with five fingers and eyebrows, the one who is stubborn and capable of jump to the danger without think twice, just like Jake.

"Neteyam is his pride, Kiri his empathy and Tuk his kindness. Lo’ak is the child that could have been born just from Jake’s rib. Jake Sully’s child in appearance, blood and heart.

Jake is scared for him because of that, the last thing that he desires for his boy is the same road and mistakes.

Ending with stained hands and uncountable sins. That simple thought makes Jake want to eat Lo'ak to make him reborn without the curse of being like Jake Sully."

The second one is from the sixth chapter of Look at me (on the horns of a dilemma), this one is mortly bc i suffered writing this with my impostor sindrome hitting me in my guts while my lack of english was not helping me at all, writing something more ambicious than i did before, and im proud that atleast i made to not gave up in it in the process.

"“After days spent doubtful and afraid, Fabian made the decision to free his little brother from Christian’s claws. So, in the dead of night when the eldest boy returned to the house, Fabian mustered the courage to sneak into his brother’s room and steal the shed’s key. When he managed to grab the keys without making noise, he didn't waste any time and ran to the shed so fast his legs ached. He opened the door with trembling hands, but what he was met with was not something he recognized as his brother.”

Lo’ak doesn’t want to feel like he’s walking in a tightrope anymore. He doesn’t want to feel like every breath he takes is a step closer to falling into a void, never to see the sun again. Lo’ak wants to be capable of at least knowing what he really wants for his future, something that is not swimming.

“A chained wolf-beast was what he saw. A beast with a big mouth that contained deadly, stained fangs. A beast with claws that appeared larger than Fabian’s head. It began to growl, which let out a putrid scent from its mouth. The boy froze in front of the thing that he once called a child, staring into its eyes. Dark, foggy-red orbs replacing the warm amber, erasing any trace of innocence, leaving only the dreadful ferocity. Fabian would have begun to cry if not for the sudden sound of the door closing. His heart stopped when he tried to open it and found out that it was locked. He started to scream, begging to be let out. This seemed to irritate the beast behind him, its growls getting louder with every cry. He heard Christian’s voice through the other side of the door, ‘This is what happens when you don’t listen’.”

Lo’ak is aware that the people around him would not even stand him being their sight if they knew about his forbidden lust and he understands why.

“No matter how Fabian begged or cried or screamed, Christian, the perfect son and brother, left his little brother trapped with a monster that, with the sunrise, would wake up as a kid again. A kid that would wake up with blood coating his skin and a new corpse that wasn’t from a sheep.”

But the Sully's middle child can’t stop thinking about his younger self. If the kid that Lo’ak was could see him in the present, what would his impression be?"

I don't know if you've seen it or not, but sab acc on insta was making a q&a recently and when someone asked what is your favorite moment from s2 (you can find a pics of these answers on twitter easily), they answered darkling's death and anything with… m*lina? Like... what? I don't know if it's trolling from their side or they are serious, in any case it all looks absolutely unprofessional and stupid. Everyone doesn't care about m*lina, do they really not understand this? Also if it wasn't the darkling/darklina, your shitty show would have been closed after s1

I did not see this but it sounds messy. I mean they obviously would have been told to push that narrative, its the same narrative they've been pushing for a while, darkling evil, M*lina for the win, hold on while I roll my eyes.

But at the end of the day its not going to really matter, people will still watch the show for darklina and Aleksander because they are the most interesting/popular ship and character. I mean I have shipped canon couples, non canon couples, the most popular ship and the least popular ship, endgame ships and non endgame ships and nothing any actor, writer, producer or anti has ever said has stopped me from shipping those couples. I ship what I enjoy and honestly as disappointing as it can be when your ship isn't canon or endgame, I still find I am happier if I just ship and let ship and not worry about other peoples views, even if its the people working on the show. Anyway in danger of rambling tangent here so I am going to stop now lol.
