Y'all seriously need to stay out of relationships if you think what Rook is doing is in any way shape or form love and not blind toxic obsession. His dream Vil has no personality other than blind adoration of Neige. Even his uniform isn't customized at all. He would lay his life down for Neige and that is the only thing that matters about him. Rook's ideal version of Vil is one who isn't a person but just an accessory to another being he doesn't see as a person either. It is incredibly toxic and unhealthy and I wish y'all realized that.

And Vil calling himself ugly and disgusting for having negative feelings and intrusive thoughts – an idea that Rook planted into his head – is just as toxic. Feeling bad about a genuine injustice committed against you isn't ugly and isn't disgusting and it doesn't define you as a person. Vil shouldn't be calling himself that just because Rook refuses to see him as a person instead of a perfect ideal that gets "sullied" by having negative emotions.

I lost my job.

I had been off sick for almost the entirety of April, so the final pay amount I received today was £700. That is only just enough to cover rent and utilities for one month.

I am job searching actively; I have had one interview already, though the one scheduled for today was cancelled half an hour before it was due to start. Job hunting is soul destroying.

My careers advisor keeps emphasising how rarely teaching apprenticeships in the local area crop up, so I feel pretty good about the fact that I've found and applied to two within the last month.

I think if a company lets you apply to their job through a dedicated job site (Indeed or w/e), and then messages you to inform you that, ACTUALLY, you need to go to a second site and apply there for the application to Actually Count, we should be able to steal $200,000 from the CEO's bank accounts each time.

99% sure i landed a 6-month gig in the jewelry store right in front of where i am currently working and it's exceedingly funny because apparently it's not the first time they snatch an employee from here
