Strving Artists thingy!!!

with the hideout sekai, it's actually more like an underground survival bunker thingy,, hideout just sounded nicer

roxingHEART will probably be next :)

anyway!!

i'm doing a thing. organizing my thoughts and stuff. i mean it's been like seven months almost eight so i figured why not

so without further ado,,

mercuryVR's thingy!!

just a little thing to collect my thoughts :) i redesigned MVR miku while watching hocus pocus for the first time so if she looks kinda magic-y,, yeah

the cover songs are just four songs that i think they would cover, they wouldn't be the only songs covered by the group, just a basis for the type of music they do

anywhoozle,, strving artists will be next!! ,, when i'm done with it!! all i have to really do is the group designs for their clothes so it shouldn't be too long

sorry for not posting for.. a month???? i have no perception of time these days

ANYWAYS

i've been going through some art block, so i thought that i might as well write!!

i blurred the image on purpose since these are just little summary notes for me, but i'm working on MVR's main story!! it'll be uploaded to ao3 and maybe wattpad if i even still have that, and it will be 20 chapters just like all of the other main stories.

i'm very excited :3

so yeah! im only really on the summary stage where i figure out where the story's gonna go in the first place, but.. it will be out at some point! eventually. i am very bad with deadlines

okay so i finished the designs!!!! since i already sent one of roxingHEART, here's all the other units! (i'm especially happy with the way nightdream turned out)

(plus a little doodle as to how mafuyu's skirt thing works because it looked kinda weird in the sketch)

will i add color to these one day? maybe! will you at least be getting color pallets?? absolutely!!

ignore my bad handwriting but ALSO!!! the unit leaders are Airi (roxingHEART), Shiho (MercuryVR), Ena (Strving Artists), Minori (lifehearted), and Ichika (Nightdream)!!!

yeah i like these guys a lot, also i am a transmasc mafuyu truther so mafuyu gets the shorter hair, no other hairstyles change though!!

okay so i may or may not have failed on that date estimate but ITS FINE

i'm still working on lifehearted's designs, so as a little treat, you get some of my slightly older art (maybe by like a month or two) of the roxingHEART design AND some bonus miku concepts

ignore the shadows of my phone, i had to take these photos quickly before my teacher saw me with my phone out

the only miku design i kinda wanna redo is lifehearted miku (man, lifehearted is giving me a surprising amount of troubles here)

anyway yeah

lifehearted designs will hopefully be done soon, and then i will have to figure out how to color it digitally which if it takes too long i'll just release the uncolored designs and give color palettes

so yeah

okay so again it's been months i think and i can't find my sketchbook right now but I've changed and finalized cotton candy sweetheart's things

first of all, they're no long called cotton candy sweethearts. their new unit name is roxingHEART :)

and second of all, that new idea thingy that they're bringing into the idol industry that i mentioned before? they do metal stuff. think babymetal kinda but they're doing the idol-y dancing things while doing it. airi's the lead and tbh they're growing on me a lot and becoming one of my favorites of my unit swap thingy things.

i'll try to find my sketchbook because i ended up drawing what i think all the groups clothes would actually look like instead of just choosing costumes ingame, and i'll post that soon. probably monday or tuesday next week

so i've been a bit inactive (AP classes are killing me very quickly actually) but i need to add to the cover song thing that they would SO cover Zebra by 3 it is killing me and my brain is getting stretched out like a rubber band but man they would so do that

sometimes when i listen to a song too much i start to think how my units would sound singing it and i can hear it so well to the point where i've started mentally distributing lines to them

also for tsukasa's instrument, i've changed the keyboard to a keytar (like in this card)

it feels more fitting to me

i named the VR platform runiverse (rune + universe) because i plan on their SEKAI being a bit magic-y looking? their sekai is like an outdoor planetarium (hence the "alter ego" names being planets) (pluto is a planet and i WILL die on that hill)

i imagine their music being kinda fast paced and intense, with the lyrics tending to have deeper meanings that you'd have to look really hard for, only to be surprised that you hadn't already realized it

(i'd imagine that they'd cover songs like Casino by Azari, God-ish by Pinocchio-P, or Coin Locker Baby by MARETU)

(idk your honor they're just my little scrimblo scromblos)

so it's been a bit and i've been busy with school

so instead of what i did with Mercury VR, i'm just gonna post the rest of my groups in one post :) yeah

i'm a bit iffy on the cotton🍬sweethearts name so don't be surprised if the logo changes or something

they're just the goodest of buddies, i love them

the name is strving artists, which i kept like that so that whenever i want i can make it interpreted as 'starving artists' or 'striving artists'

this is very similar to the first unit i ever made, except since kanade's in Mercury VR i added mafuyu
