The thing about JC's animosity towards LWJ is, barring LWJ being an ass to JL, it's entirely reactive.
Does JC know why Hanguang-jun one day returned from closed seclusion and decided to act as though JC had pissed in his congee? No! Does he care? It's not actively harmful to YMJ and JC frankly has bigger fish to hunt down than why LXC's younger brother has moods, and it's just a blip in the political situation, so also no.
Is he going to smile and be gracious about it? Fuck no, and fuck you for suggesting it, he's not going to stir shit but he's sure going to sneer back whenever LWJ decides to show his ass. How even are you supposed to be gracious at someone who's decided hates you?
