#star wars #the original trilogy #boba fett #darth vader #hi. sorry for star war jumpscare. genuinely #i feel like ive kinda been on an art hiatus lately due to health stuff #i got diagnosed with a parathyroid disease recently (wahoo) so now i know why i have been feeling so bad! need more tests though #anyway. in the mean time most of the entertainment my brain can handle has been like. youtube clip compilations of shows and movies #not even the actual shows or movies. literally just sections of them on youtube #i wish i was joking #the only reason i know what happens in succession is because i have watched it in disjointed order in youtube compilations. not joking #anyway so ive learned a lot more about star wars than i ever. thought i would #mostly just the original trilogy and prequels. some of the old comics & books are interesting too #(sick to my stomach) i like darth vader he has like the same personality as ganondorf except he had no good reason for doing anything #when vader/anakin does literally anything weird or unacceptable it like. makes me laugh so hard its like jerma when he sees a car accident #boba fett’s costume design has been rotating in my head a lot too it’s very good #he’s very colorful and like. matte/unpolished compared to vader and it makes them a cool duo visually #those 2 are my favorites. vader why is the space cowboy the only person aside from sidious or tarkin who is allowed to get mad at you #sidious is my 3rd favorite. he sucks so bad as like a person that you just. you have no expectations of him except just being evil #so its just really funny like everything he does is horrible and he’s so happy all the time like good for him #i’m making it sound like ive never seen star wars before. i have i just never really cared about it until i got an endocrine disorder lmao #but yeah idk art may continue to be slow while im figuring out treatment stuff #if anyone reading this also has or has had hyperparathyroidism im wishing the strength & radiance of 1000 beautiful horses upon you

AT LAST!!! TUMBLR KAEYA NATION, BEHOLD, THE NONSENSE THAT HAS BEEN OCCUPYING MY KAEYA-DEDICATED BRAINPAN FOR MONTHS!

Quick disclaimer/warning: This document is LONG, it's almost 50 pages, so please don't feel pressured to read the whole thing, especially not in one shot. Also, I have included some disclaimers at both the beginning and end, including the fact that I am not an expert in any of the stuff I've written about in this document and if I have made any mistakes, I apologize, feel free to offer corrections, so long as we're all nice to each other. That said, I don't plan on adding substantially more to this document (ex: a new section) as this isn't and was never meant to be The Kaeya Lore Fodder Post of all time. This is just me taking my lore/theory-adjacent thoughts on Kaeya and yeeting them into the void to see if anyone else is interested.

#genshin impact #kaeya alberich #I didn't end up getting this done before the end of the year but I wasn't too far off!#I just made a slight alteration today because of update 5.3's revelations about capitano #I won't spoil them in the tags here #but capitano's real name is revealed here in the doc #so if you're avoiding spoilers be aware of that and maybe complete the natlan archon quests first #I can't believe I finally finished this I'm so happy #this is what happens when I take a break from playing genshin I actually make progress on stuff I wanna do #I do genuinely hope the kaeya theorists get some inspiration or new ideas from this doc #not just because I put a lot of effort into this but also because some of these thoughts and ideas are ones I've had for AGES #and yet I couldn't really find anyone else talking about them #which was surprising to me and also sad because I thought they were so evident?#like kaeya's backstory paralleling king arthur's and lord krishna's #and kaeya spying on the abyss order to take them down from the inside #and setaria from the sumeru archon quest being a direct parallel to kaeya #and I think all of those are worth considering #here's to hoping they get considered now!#but in all seriousness I just hope people get some enjoyment out of this #if just one person in the kaeya nation reads this and tells me they liked it I'll be happy #alright I'll stop now before I reach the tag limit again

see i absolutely despise jimmy (and curly) as a character(s) but as a literary freak i can appreciate the way hes used as a story device with his relationship to curly. i could type this more eloquently but currently ive had a glass of champagne and i havent drank in like 6 months so my tolerance is low so forgive my writing but. jimmy cannibalizing curly. yeah.

theres multiple messages here, theres the message that jimmy is doing what curly (assumedly) did to get into his position and, employing another metaphor, taking the "dog eat dog world" saying to heart. and literally. devouring his competition. or maybe curly didnt do that. and thats what jimmy thinks curly did and so he aims to do the same. choose whichever one you like more they're both interesting storywise.

theres the message where jimmy "consumes" curly in some twisted expression of love. devouring curly so that he remains a part of him, an expression that he is the gold star captain and something to aspire to. admiration for something he'll never be and so he chooses to consume him in order to potentially absorb some of his skill or become more like him.

and then there is curly sitting there helplessly being devoured. its something he has no say in, not something that he chose to happen to him, its something hes become swept up in. he becomes devoured by jimmy in the literal sense of cannibalism, but also in the sense that he became so absorbed in his friendship w/jimmy he ignored his wrongdoings and ultimately led to anya's assault as well as the death of the whole crew.

curly and jimmy intertwined so that one is always consumed by the other. curly in a literal sense, jimmy in a more psychological one. i mean like its really quite crazy they did the "im consumed with thoughts about this guy and want to be him so i must literally consume him" thing quite well. when examining mouthwashing's narrative you find new things to admire every time. each little story element has a place in creating a wonderfully complex and heartbreaking story. its very well done and honestly something to aspire to from the perspective of someone who enjoys studying/writing literature.

all of this is to say i think that there should be more art of jimmy covered in blood and engaging in this cannibalism like the stupid little leech he is

#spacie spoinks #only post i will ever make about curly or jimmy btw. i genuinely hate the both of them with a burning passion #i think im just. projecting too hard but i just cant enjoy them. i have tried it doesnt work. and thats okay #my life experiences just affect me too much for that lol #this is all they'll ever get from me lmaoooo #i will enjoy art others make tho #im mostly saying this just so people dont ask me for any curly and jimmy stuff skjfskf you wont get it smiles politely #you can enjoy these characters if you wish no judgement. there is a lot to like about them as you can see by my post #see i can be a hater and introspective at the same time!!!#its not something that can be helped my Literary Analysis brain overrides any hate i feel towards those two #and when i view them as tools in a story they're easier to deal with seeing all the time #anyway enjoy this post. im sure someone has said it better than me but yeah jimmy x curly cannibalism for the win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#i love writing!!!!!!!!!! hope i can also do it some day #see but like my reaction is normal the narrative made me hate them b/c it wanted me to #this is why mouthwashing is a good story it made me *feel* something about these characters #even though that feeling is hatred!! and isnt that just so wonderful #characters did bad things and i hate them b/c of it!! wow. storytelling is awesome #none of this is sarcastic. hope it doesnt come off as that #whenever a narrative makes you feel something with this deep of a complexity it is worth celebrating #mouthwashing #okay happy new year goodnight

I dislike takes that Danse would be just as conservative in modernized aus when it's clearly shown his staunch views of things come from his time in the Brotherhood and his deep-rooted desire to belong to something with a greater purpose.

Not to mention lines that show much more open-mindedness that get overlooked for his harsher sentiments when you first meet him. Like the oppurtunity to be a part of something is why Danse fell so far into Brotherhood dogma and it doesn't negate the offense things he does but I feel like it's just lazy to be like "hmmm he'd def be racist" just so it aligns to his BoS beliefs.
