Okay guys, I have news.

I’m doing it.

I’m doing the thing.

I am finally writing a novel.

I even created a blog dedicated to my journey!

This is a huge step for me. This is fulfilling a promise to my ten-year-old self. This is telling my doubts and fears to shut up.  

I am no novel writing expert. I don’t have a creative writing degree. But I have been a fangirl my entire life, consuming books, movies, TV shows—through them I feel I have learned what makes a story loved. I have been writing fanfiction since I was ten, and through the feedback of my readers, I finally feel ready to create my own original work.

My plan is to learn the mechanics of actually writing a novel by going through them step-by-step, guided by fabulous YouTube authors and subject experts + the craft books SAVE THE CAT! WRITES A NOVEL by Jessica Brody & How to Write a Novel Using the Snowflake Method, by Randy Ingermanson.

Stop being a little chaotic shit, it’s going to catch up with you one day and if you don’t have a plan it’s not going to end well

Tell Sam you love them, they need to hear it more than you realize.

Treasure your relationships, especially with your sister. Quit rolling your eyes at her when she worries about you getting hurt or nags at you to do your homework because she’s the only one who’s going to do that. You only have each other, so tell her how much she means to you every once in a while.

He was destined for an elevator, currently, the goal being to lead the mechanoid on for a bit to get a better sense of what he was dealing with. In the back of his mind, Seto considered something he'd done recently: He'd sent Duel Monsters cards into space, with the idea that if there were intelligent life in the stars, then they ought to learn how to duel. Maybe, maybe, maybe.

"But you haven't introduced yourself properly. Your name."

Seto stands at the elevator, its doors opening right on cue. He gestures for the Matoran to enter.
