Behind the Scenes - DC

Tim Drake x Male Reader Series.

Soo..... I might have decided to dip my toes into writing for DC, I'm still going to be writing Transformers Fics too but I really wanted to make this mainly for myself, it make turn into an x Oc but we will wait and see, the first part is mainly just the Prologue and it's Tim centred without a reader introduced yet.

Tim had been staring at the screen now for hours, fingers dancing across the keyboard as he went, he had fallen down the rabbit hole of another case. Honestly he wouldn't have cursed at himself getting so invested in another Riddler case, but in truth he loved the challenge, cross examining every little detail from the scenes, the Clues. In some ways dealing with Riddler was like a break for him, the Riddler despised him, he figured things out way too quickly for Nigma's liking and ruined His plans half the time, and Timothy revealed it.

Tim wasn't interested in the riddles, no he was far more interested in the smaller details such as the barrel with a grain meal logo on it. It was so out of place, new compared to most of the other stuff that had been at the scene. It was possible he had somewhat narrowed down where Riddler was, and it was all due to the Rogue not being thorough enough. “Red Robin To Nightwing” he calls into his ear piece after switching channels.

“Hear you loud and clear RR” Dick had called back. “I believe Riddler is in Blüdhaven, at BGM Grains factory or shipment warehouse from what i've been able to gather, he's starting to get sloppy” Tim remarked while taking a mouthful of his coffee only for his nose to scrunch up slightly at how cold it had gotten.

“Hmm I'll check it out, Penguin’s also been making his rounds around Haven, I'll drop in and see if I can spot Riddler might finally catch him after the hell he's being causing B” Dick remarks, there's a slight static sound along with the whooshing of wind. “Keep me updated, I'm going to do some more digging, Oracle might even be able to tap me into the camera” he stretches slightly, his joints popping and cracking with a sigh before he focuses back in.

“you're game, Weren't you meant to be in bed three hours ago, you have an appointment tomorrow at WE with manufacturing and Marketing” Nightwing remarked with a hint of amusement in his voice. Tim rolls his eyes before drinking more of his coffee, at this rate he would just make sure to have two caffeine capsules, some dayquil and most likely coffee before he leaves in the morning if Alfred doesn't insist on him having Tea instead.

“ Hmmm, says the man who had Chief Delmore Redhorn up his ass, Must be fun having your boss pile you with paperwork and put you on mall duty” Tim retorts effortlessly, he was used to playing this game with Dick, the back and forth jabs over work.

“Careful RR, B might decide to demote you if you keep showing up to WE looking like a zombie” he teases back which earns a scoff from Tim "that's what make-up is for Big bird, to cover up the baggage and Trauma That this family carries” he snarks with a roll of his eyes. There was next to nothing that Fitcover, some eye drops, caffeine and Cologne couldn't mask.

“Whatever you say T. But I'm serious if you don't log off, I'll be calling Oracle and tell her to disable your connection. It's 3:47am go to bed” Dick says sternly, which earns a huff From Tim. “Ah don't, I'll have Alfred down there to drag you up, it's log off time” Dick continued, and Tim knows he won't win this argument, he was going on nearly 53 hours with the minimum of an hour nap in random spots.

“Fine, Fine I'm logging off and heading up. Keep me posted on Riddler!” He huffs as he begins logging out of his account on the main computer. He sits there for a moment in the large seat contemplating moving before finally working up the energy to trudge his way upstairs.

Tim makes it to his room or at least the one he stayed at when he was at the Manor, it hadn't changed much, just had a few less things in there than it used to. He grabs his antibiotics, promethazine, taking them with a large mouthful of water from the bottle he kept on the bedside table. he Kicks off most of his clothes deciding it was too hard to bother with anything more than his boxers, grabbing his compression gloves and fighting with them for a moment before he lays back in bed, tiredly staring up at the ceiling. It doesn't take long for the promethazine to make him drowsy on top of his fatigue and he is out shortly after.

The next morning, Tim awoke feeling somewhat refreshed, his mind clearer than it had been the day before, less exhaustion and tension in his frame. The combination of the antibiotics and promethazine had granted him a night free of the usual nightmares and dreams that often plagued his mind.

He rolled out of bed slowly, his muscles protesting slightly from the lingering aches and pains. A hot shower helped to work out the kinks and tension in his body, the steaming water cascading over his scars and battle-worn flesh. He stood there for a long while just letting the heat seep into his skin, eyes closed as he enjoyed the momentary relief the hot water gave.

As he stepped out of the shower, Tim caught sight of his reflection in the mirror. The dark circles under his eyes were still noticeable, but not as pronounced as they had been the day before. After drying off and getting dressed in his usual white button up and black slacks, He applied a thin layer of concealer under his eyes, carefully blending it into his skin to hide the evidence of his exhaustion.

Next, he smoothed on a foundation, the creamy substance helping to even out his complexion and conceal the faint, silvery scars that lined his cheeks - mementos from Joker. The scars were barely noticeable to most, but to Tim, they stood out more than anything, they had healed well only leaving very thin silvery lines, but they were still a reminder of what happened when he was 13.

Dressed in a crisp button-down shirt and tailored slacks, Tim looked every inch the successful businessman. Only those who knew him well could sense the weariness that still lingered beneath the polished exterior.

Tim entered the dining room, his footsteps soft against the hardwood floors. The smell of freshly brewed tea and toast wafted through the air. Bruce sat at the head of the table, newspaper in one hand, the other loosely holding a cup of tea. His breakfast plate half-empty was pushed slightly to the side. Behind the swinging door to the kitchen, the faint hum of a classical tune played as Alfred moved around, orchestrating the morning like a conductor with his symphony.

Tim offered Bruce a nod as he passed the table. He looked tired despite the dark circles under his eyes being concealed. There's a faint sluggishness in his movements. Without a word, he headed straight for the kitchen, clearly aiming for the coffee pot. As soon as Tim stepped into the kitchen, Alfred's sharp yet warm voice cut through the music.

"Master Timothy, don't even think about it. Coffee is hardly what you need right now. Have you slept at all?" He inquiries not even turning around to look at the younger man

Tim paused mid-reach for the coffee pot, his hand hovering above the handle. He sighed, his shoulders slumping slightly. "Good morning to you too, Alfred."

Alfred turned, crossing his arms with the kind of disapproving look only he could master, the disappointed grandfather stare. The soft music continued in the background as he gestured toward the kettle. "Tea, Master Tim. Far more civilized and significantly better for someone who looks like they've just returned from the grave."

Tim hesitated but relented. "Fine. Tea it is." Alfred huffed but began preparing the tea while muttering under his breath about "young men and their lack of proper self-care."

Tim returned to the dining room, plopping into the chair across from Bruce. The latter set down the newspaper, his piercing gaze settling on Tim. "You haven't been sleeping."

Tim blinked, he was well aware he hadn't been sleeping, he had been doing reserch into the Head of medical manufacturing as this was now the third time this month, that Luicus had brought him to attention over it, and Tim had done his own digging, and noe Marketing and been trying their best to sway Tim into letting them raise the price of certain medical items. And that was excluding everything that had been happening while he moonlights as Red Robin.

His tone is defensive. "I'm fine. Just had a lot to do." Bruce raised an eyebrow, the kind of look that said he wasn't buying it. He leaned back, resting his hands on the arms of his chair. "You can't run on fumes, Not in the long run. You know that."

Tim looked away, running a hand through his hair. Trying not to mess it up after styling it into the business look he normally did for board meeting and anything that involved him having to be at any WE sites. "I will catch up on sleep once everything with patrols, WE settle down. Riddler has been causing issues in Blüdhaven and Luicus and myself are suspicious of the head of drug manufacturing, so I've been doing digging"

Bruce doesn't say anything but just continues to watch Tim. Before he gets the chance to say anything Alfred appears, setting a cup of tea in front of Tim with a faintly pointed expression.

"So, about the meeting today. WE Operations and Marketing. What’s the agenda?" Tim straightened a little, his exhaustion momentarily forgotten as he switched into work mode. "The marketing team wants to pitch a new campaign to raise prices of medication such as Insulin, amoxycillin, Levothyroxine.” there is a slight sneer to Tim's voice over it. He hated dealing with the pharmaceutical marketing Team, not to mention the head of the manufacturing. They have been trying to sway him for months now over increasing prices for life saving medication. And WE had always prided itself on being affordable for everyone.

“ I think we need to replace management and look at other options for that Team, or replacements, they have been the main ones causing so much strife within the company. The Steel operations will be presenting their quarterly report, but from what Lucius told me, there aren't any major surprises. I actually enjoy talking with Mr Brill, his Teams deserve a raise, He ask about you often, wants to know if your coming in for another one of their Forklift workshops " There's a small smirk on Tim's face, he knew all about those workshops Bruce used to attend before he had taken over as CEO.

Bruce frowned slightly, swirling the tea in his cup, as he takes a sip. "You know I don't involve myself much in the day-to-day anymore." But there's a small smile on Bruce's face remembering the shock of so many people when he used to show up to those workshops.

The conversation had shifted to lighter topics, Bruce still nursing his tea while Tim sat back in his chair finishing up his own tea, trying to muster some energy for the day ahead, as he still eyes the kitchen wondering if he could get away with coffee before he left for his meeting, even if he couldn't he would either get one while at WE from the breakroom or afterwards sneak away long enough to get one from the local cafe he frequent.

Alfred moved about the dining room with his usual quiet grace, clearing away Bruce’s breakfast plate and straightening the table. As Alfred returned from the kitchen, he paused by Tim’s chair, his hands resting lightly on the back of it. His tone was casual, but there was a hint of purpose behind his words. "Master Timothy, if I might trouble you for a moment..."

Tim glanced up, raising a brow. "Uh-oh. What did I do now?"

Alfred gave him a long-suffering look before continuing. "Nothing, yet. But I was wondering if you might accompany me later today after your meetings. There’s a small, family-owned nursery I frequent for the plants that brighten up this dreary old Manor. They’ve just started their spring stock, and I’d like to see what they have this year."

Tim blinked, surprised, it wasn't what he had expected to hear from the old butler. "You’re asking me to go plant shopping with you?" Alfred gave a faint huff, though there was a glint of amusement in his eyes. "Indeed, I am. Surely you can spare a moment from your busy schedule to assist an old man with something as simple as choosing a few ferns and perhaps a philodendron or two?"

Tim leaned back, fingers linked together as he processed everything, "Couldn’t you just call them? Have them send over a list or something? Sounds like less hassle." Alfred’s expression turned pointed, though his tone remained polite, he was making it very clear it Wasn't up for debate.

"Of course I could, Master Timothy. But where is the joy in that? I’d much rather go in person. There’s a charm to it, you see. And, if I may be so bold, I think an outing might do you some good. Perhaps some fresh air and a bit of greenery might help shake off the exhaustion you so stubbornly insist on ignoring."

Bruce chuckled softly from his seat, glancing between the two. Tim shot Bruce a mock glare before turning back to Alfred, this felt like a trap, a trap to keep him busy and his focus away from work and cases. His lips press into a thin line as he stares down Alfred, the older man fixes him with his own look.

"Fine, fine. I’ll go. On one condition, we stop at my favourite Cafe and I get my ristretto, or Iced Lungo " He finally relented knowing he wasn't getting out of this, but he sure wasn't going to not put up some resistance over it.

Alfred gave a small, satisfied smile, as though he’d just won a minor battle. "That can be arranged, Master Tim. Your company will suffice. Though, if I may offer a suggestion, do try not to have too much Caffeine."

Tim rolled his eyes, though there was a faint grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Yeah, yeah. That's my offer, coffee for company." Bruce set down his tea, his tone light but teasing. "Don’t let him talk you into carrying all the pots. He’s been known to overdo it."

Alfred turned to Bruce with a feigned look of innocence. "I assure you, Master Bruce, I wouldn’t dream of it." Bruce gave him a knowing look, but Tim waved it off, standing up and stretching. glancing at the clock on the wall, his faint grin fading as the reality of his packed schedule loomed over him again. He drained the rest of his tea, setting the cup down with a soft clink against the saucer.

“Alright,” he said, pushing his chair back and standing with a stretch. “I’ve got to head out. If I get to my office early enough, I might actually have a chance to breathe before the swarm descends.” he said, pushing the chair back into the table.

Bruce raised an eyebrow over the rim of his teacup, his expression somewhere between amused and concerned. “You mean you’re running off to hide before they corner you,” Bruce said knowingly. Tim hummed, grabbing his blazer off the back of the chair. “Something like that. I like to call it ‘strategic retreat.’”

Alfred gave him a pointed look as he passed by. “Strategic retreat or not, Master Timothy, I do hope you’ll consider pacing yourself today. Another cup of tea wouldn’t go amiss, either.” Tim paused in the doorway, glancing back with a wry grin. “Tea’s nice, Alfred, but I’m going to need something a little stronger if I’m going to survive the marketing team today.”

Alfred’s brow furrowed as he turned to face him fully, his disapproval evident. “Master Tim, I do hope you’re not referring to–” “Triple shot espresso,” Tim cut in, his grin widening. “Don’t worry, I’ll make it myself. Wouldn’t want to drag anyone else into my caffeine dependency.”

Bruce let out a quiet chuckle, shaking his head. He knew Tim drank an awful amount of coffee but some days it really put others to shame “You’re going to crash hard later if you keep running like this.” Tim shrugged as he slipped his arms into the blazer and adjusted the cuffs.“Yeah, probably. But that’s a problem for later. Right now, I’ve got to deal with pharmaceutical marketing trying to convince me that price-gouging insulin is somehow good for the company.�� His voice turned sharp at the end, a flicker of irritation breaking through his usual sarcasm.

Alfred followed him toward the hallway, speaking as he moved. “If they press you too much, Master Timothy, do remember that you have the authority to shut them down completely.” Tim glanced back over his shoulder, his hand resting on the doorframe. “Oh, don’t worry, Alfred. I’ve been shutting them down for months. They’re just persistent. Like termites with suits.”

Alfred gave him a small, approving nod. “As long as you don’t let them wear you down. And do keep in mind our little outing to the nursery later. Perhaps a few moments among greenery will help restore your... equilibrium.”

Tim snorted softly. “Yeah, I’ll keep that in mind.” He turned and headed down the hallway, his footsteps quick and purposeful on the polished floors. As he passed by the large windows overlooking the grounds, he caught a glimpse of the sunlight streaming through the trees, but he didn’t stop to take it in. His mind was already racing ahead—mentally preparing for the battle waiting for him at Wayne Enterprises.

By the time he reached the garage, Tim was already planning his first move of the day: getting to his office before anyone else had the chance to ambush him. He climbed into his car, the engine purring to life as he pulled out of the long driveway, the manor shrinking behind him in the rearview mirror.

The drive gave him a moment of quiet, though his fingers drummed impatiently on the steering wheel as he navigated the early morning traffic. He barely noticed the scenery passing by—his thoughts were too focused on the meetings ahead. The pharmaceutical marketing team, in particular, was already grating on his nerves, and he hadn’t even seen them yet.

By the time he reached the Wayne Enterprises building, the city was fully awake. Tim parked in his reserved spot, grabbed his bag, and made his way inside, weaving through the bustling crowd of employees already heading to their stations. The elevator ride to his floor was mercifully empty, giving him a rare moment to himself. When the doors slid open, he stepped out into the sleek, modern office space that housed his team.

Tim moved quickly, nodding at a few early risers but keeping his pace brisk. He wasn’t ready to be stopped yet. His office door clicked shut behind him, and he let out a small sigh of relief. For now, at least, he was safe. Dropping his bag onto the chair, he crossed the room to the small coffee bar tucked into the corner. The espresso machine gleamed under the overhead lights, and Tim wasted no time getting to work.

“Triple shot,” he muttered to himself as he loaded the machine. The scent of freshly brewed coffee filled the room, and for a brief moment, it was almost enough to make him forget the chaos waiting just outside his door.

Almost.

Cup in hand, Tim moved to his desk and took a long sip, the bitter jolt of caffeine already doing its job. He set the cup down and powered on his computer, his inbox lighting up with a flood of unread emails. “Alright,” he muttered, cracking his knuckles, the ache slowly dissipating Into pins and needles. “Let’s see what today’s disaster looks like.”

The quiet hum of his office was soon accompanied by the rhythmic tapping of his keyboard as Tim dove into his work, bracing himself for the inevitable knock on his door that would signal the start of the day’s battles. For now, though, he savored the calm before the storm, his triple shot espresso keeping him upright as he prepared to face whatever came next.

My OCs' jersey number explanations ramblings ^_^

Tsubasa - #13 (usual jersey)

Tsubasa's birthday is February 13. So purely in terms of personality, Tsubasa is egocentric and self-absorbed enough to use his birth date as his preferred jersey that he insists on wearing

Now onto the meta stuff:

Well we all know 13 is the cliched bad luck number in Western culture. Tsubasa in his backstory has many unlucky circumstances surrounding his life. Btw I know Gesner is #13 in BM but let's be honest Tsubasa is more important (my beloved oshi). I think it can also have a double meaning, unlucky number 13 as in you're unlucky to be against him rather than the sole fact that he, himself, is unlucky.

Tsubasa is a self-reliant person & player who always preserves so it can be a case of someone "making their own luck" no matter the circumstance as well.

He has a lot of strange beliefs and conventions so being symbolized by a superstitious number also fits him thematically. For example he believes in angels and the death-rebirth cycle and other such not scientifically proven to exist things.

Tsubasa's character has a theme surrounding an obsession with "death" both literal and symbolic (as his goal of self-realization and also his definition of "change" lies in "death" in his own mind, hence the obsession with "dying", and to him "death" is "repentance" for what he "has done", which according to him is "being born").

The death-rebirth cycle samsara is a Buddhist belief. In Japanese beliefs about Buddhist deities, there are thirteen Buddhas who also play an important role in traditional funerals (once again bringing it back to the theme of death and rebirth in his own personal belief system + as well as the fact that he veers spiritual).

The number 13 itself in astrology and tarot readings is sometimes associated with transformation and rebirth, and the End of one cycle onto the beginning of another. The "Death" card is number 13 in the major arcana - the card itself also symbolizes renewal.

In Japanese & Chinese numerology: 1 + 3 = 4, "shi" = death, traditonally four is considered unlucky in Japanese culture even if 13 itself isn't.

#42 - U-20 match jersey specifically

4 + 2 = "shini" = "to death", again considered an unlucky number, in Tsubasa's case more so means "I'll play to death", i.e. "I'll play until I'm renewed". It's also pretty edgy and contrarian all things considered since a superstitious Japanese person would usually avoid having this as a jersey number.

Mael - #5

Mael's jersey number as well as most things about him are meant to be ironic in some way/bully him.

In Japanese numerology, it's considered a lucky number. It's also associated with the Chinese concept of the "five elements"/Wuxing, so it is said sometimes that number 5 brings luck and blessings, which Mael lacks from birth.

The deficient destructive cycle in Wuxing is the fifth phase "counteracting" (fire evaporates water, water destabilizes earth, etc) -> Mael has a reactive and explosive personality that is harmful to him and others lying within his trigger prone behavior.

In Christian numerology, number 5 symbolizes grace and God's unwavering love towards humankind, which is again ironic because Mael is born in an unfavorable situation and struggles to move on.

God's fifth commandment is "Honor your mother and your father" -> Mael was born into an abusive household to drug addicts who neglected him and later on disowned him. Since birth they gave him nothing and were nobodies to him. Number 5 symbolizes God's favor culturally, but Mael was not born in his favor, and afterwards he fails to adjust to a normal and stable self and living.

In Buddhism there are also five precepts that serve as the base morality principle for enlightenment and the path so salvation.

The five precepts forbid the following: killing of both animals and humans, theft and other things along those lines (fraud, forgery), sexual misconduct (i.e. sexual acts which are either forceful, unethical or adulterous in nature), spoken falsehood (lying, gossiping, verbal aggression), intoxication (alcohol, drugs, occasionally smoking is counted).

Summary:

Conrad Bishop thinks he knows who he is: A nerd, a goof, a coward. But heartbreak comes along to destroy that version of him. As he shatters, an alien ring decides that the depth of his pain has the potential to forge him into a potent Star Sapphire. While grief may be a devastatingly powerful form of love, can he survive on it alone? Maybe not. But it’s what he thinks deserves.

Everyone thinks they know who Damian Wayne is: A prince, a pariah, a hero. The truth is worse. No one thinks he’s easy to love, and he agrees. It’s fine. He doesn’t need it, he’s got duty and a body to spend in service of it until there’s nothing left to hate. But sometimes? Sometimes he wonders if that’s all he can be.

By chance they share the same science class, and--for better or worse--that's all it takes to send them on a path that neither of them would have ever dared to consider.

Damian started changing out of his uniform and Conrad awkwardly looked away. He cleared his throat. “Hey, so, I’ve been thinking…”

“Hmm?” Damian grunted as he unclasped and slid his tunic off.

“Well, you used the ring to save me, right? But you know...the whole bit is that if you want to heal someone you have to…uh. You'd…you'd have to love--"

“Philia.” Damian cut in quickly.

“Did…did you--was that a slur?”

“…No! Philia is the Greek concept of love between friends. That’s what the ring was pulling from.” It was mostly true. It was mostly philia. Mostly.

Conrad considered that for a moment, then beamed. “Oh. Oh! So you admit it? You think we’re friends?”

Damian finished pulling a hoodie on and turned to squint at him. “How are you this stupid.”

“Oh my god you do!”

“If you’re like this for the entire ride back, there is a high likelihood that I will change my--oh come on!” Damian complained fruitlessly as he had to endure yet another hug. “I should have let you bleed out.” He hissed, and Conrad just laughed.

“I love you too, buddy.”

Before I get into anything else, again the cover and reference sheet were done by the amazing @nicodrawings. She's terrific, professional, easy to work with (and I am ANNOYING), and I think the quality speaks for itself. Her art is tremendous and her covers are maybe the highest quality I've seen from an indie artist.

Concepts, Themes, and Character Focus

The core questions I wanted to ask were:

"Can two broken people ever be good for each other?"

"Can you actually move past the pain of loss?"

"How do you love someone?"

I love Lantern lore, and Star Sapphires specifically. Maybe too much

I was fascinated by a Corps that represented love but was usually fueled by despair and anguish instead, and wielded one of the harder to control colors of the Emotional Spectrum. So I decided to create one from scratch and place them in Earth's most notorious tragedy factory: Gotham City.

Conrad is shamelessly emotional and ruled by his affections, and was like that even before the ring. The only son of a pair of Haitian immigrants, Conrad grew up feeling very loved, and even his parents terrible handling of his attempt to come out wasn't enough to shake that. But his parents never really pushed him, and his easy-going nature meant he didn't develop a lot of self determination. Then he suffers an incredibly traumatizing loss, and suddenly his carefully laid carpet of normalcy and avoidance is torn up to reveal some structural problems underneath.

Damian is emotional and ruled by his affections, and is a little ashamed of it. He also felt loved when he was growing up, but unlike Conrad, much of the love he received was in the form of praise for his success, which had the unfortunate effect of making him seek approval in ways that were often unhelpful, most often to himself. He's tried so hard, and done so much work to be a better person, and he's even accumulated a group of peers who adore him. But he's still lonely, has trouble accepting his own progress, and the guilt he carries making new connections difficult.

Everyone is a couple of years older than they are in canon, which I did to make the content more appropriate, and also so I could play with the ambiguity of those three undocumented years, and hand wave away some of the more...uncharitable parts of canon without having to rewrite everything. This is Damian still on his early Rebirth character track, before the many resets to his character development. He's still harsh and somewhat antisocial, but he's also older, more mellow, and has worked through a couple of things. He's settled enough to allow for some honest introspection.

I didn't initially plan for this to be a love story, but their internal conflicts were complimentary and their deepest wishes slotted together so neatly that the direction felt natural. They cover many of each other's weaknesses and blind spots, while making some of their other hangups worse.

The romance isn't even the critical part really, it's just the way they end up expressing emotional intimacy. They are friends first, and that's what holds everything together. It's all about them showing up for each other in ways that are sometimes difficult, and the fact that they always will, regardless of whether they're in a relationship or not.

It's an awkward, intense, teen relationship, and it's not always a good thing for either of them--even before factoring in cosmic super weapons and secret identities.

Also, there are... a lot of cameos and odd side characters.

Jack's love language is gift giving and physical touch. He kicks his feet in the air at the thought of kissing Alex like some squealing teen girl. But of course, he acts nonchalant about it, gotta keep your cool

My Jack is like a Disney princess. He can sing and talk to animals. Idk. I thought it would be funny if he would just occasionally get into arguments with random family pets. Dogs just barking up a storm about how he needs to get his striped ass out of their house while Jack just cusses them out. Also, with him being more of a demon, he can also possess people's bodies along with talking to them from inside their heads.

Jack's an old man, and he LOVES watching action films. He's like a lil kid at heart, and usually, when Willie comes by, they both watch Transformers together on Alex's TV while she's at work.

For someone who has been starving since the 1800s, he sure is a picky eater. He doesn't like tomatoes unless they're cooked, doesn't like pickles, and don't think about trying to sneak some green beans into his stew, he'll pick em out. That's just the tip of the iceberg, Alex is having to learn, and she's half tempted to strangle him at times.

He's a hand full but you gotta hand it to him he's willing to change for her, but the fear of losing her is still in the back of his mind. He also likes to annoy her if she's not paying attention to him, just the look on her face no matter how threatening she's trys to be he's just gigging away cause "oh she's just soooo cute~".

Remembered some OCs I never talked about on here. Thinking about them because ik I could improve them so muchhhh

I made them like a year ago. They've got a whole story and all. It's weird to talk about them bc I gotta explain some things.

So! My friend Hanévi made this series that's heavily based off of DBZ but she's got a bazillion original elements and a really interesting story. There's Saiyans in the universe (and other stuff like Kaioshin and Destroyers but they're not relevant for this rn.) One of the original elements is a race called Vetentorians, which is like REALLY diverse and has a lot of subspecies(?) and story and plot and lore and whatever. (I also helped her a bit! I added a character that paved the way for a ton of things and she's one of Hanévi's favorites. I also made the best couple in the series even tho the wife is dead now.)

ANYWAYS my OCs are set in their own story in the same universe just 200 years after her stories conclusion! And so like her story is literally history bc of how it impacted the universe.

Anyways anyways! Chaiya is our protagonist of the "second generation" (it's several generations different but shhhh) Chaiya is a hybrid between a Vetentorian and a Saiyan, with his traits leaning towards Vetentorian. Remember how I said Vetentorians are diverse? Yeah, Chaiya is pretty rare, since he's winged. He's also an archer! Quite goated at it too. He's got ✨trauma✨ and yk the boy is mentally ill. He's kinda. Killed ppl. But what teenager hasn't? Haha. Second to last pic of him is when he's young! (He's been mentally ill for a looking time. Orphan BY CHOICE.) Last pic is. Something for another exposition dump! Basically Dark Sclera is an artificial transformation made by magic that enhances the users ability while corrupting their mind (mmm sadism). Dark Sclera was originally passed down through enchanted crowns that honed the power, buuut... Chaiya got that shit RAW. And it HURTS. He's severely ill and almost dies (and also almost kills one of his friends and so that friends is a cyborg now. Yay. Anyways that's to fight another character later. ALSO! He has a mute sister who... May... Die? Or go on life support. Anyways I've yapped for long enough

AND THEN MY GIRLY YUSURUUUU!!! She is Chaiya's BESTIE and she is so much better than him actually. She's a sweetie! She's a Vetentorian too, but, she's kinda like a FISH. Mermaid but she's just built like that. She's his rock and he's her rock! She kinda saved his life, but that's a story for another time. She's super important to him, and so a lot of her role in the story ended up being the magic of friendship, but she's also kinda a mom friend. Idk what to say because she's kinda just along for the ride lol. I need to write her in more tbh

Random thing. Yusuru's cheek marks are supposed to be like gills. With Chaiya? Idk. He's just got weird cheek marks LOL

Pre-breach desc.:

[REDACTED] was taken to the facility after signing an agreement with Urbanshade to get off of death row after being convicted of multiple felonies, drug trafficking, illegal possession of firearms, and more. A note she requested to be added into this, she never drove without a license.

Z-18 “The Grinner.”

A test on enhancing human durability and overall endurance and recovery, Subject Z-18’s genes were spliced with various deep-sea creatures, the most prominent genetics coming from the Class Gastropoda. Despite keeping a humanoid silhouette, her body and organs now take on the typical characteristics of deep sea slugs, while still keeping a few mammalian features. Subject Z-18, later code-named, “The Grinner” for appearing to have a permanent smirk after transformation, no matter the circumstance. She was revealed to have colour shifting abilities. The patterns and behaviours of the colours seem mostly random aside from a few select reactions to environment or emotion. Either way, her main palette seems to consist of purples, pinks, oranges and yellows. Through future observation, the mutant is now also capable of easily scaling walls of practically any surface using the natural semi-suction soles along her arms and legs. Like all of the facility’s subjects, she has a tag appropriately labelled with her number. Note, heavily repulsed by salt.

Post-breach encounter synopsis:

Z-18 “The Grinner.”

Now calling herself Lemon, Z-18 may be encountered on your expedition. Why she chose this name is currently unknown since she responds differently quite often. She will hopefully not attack unless provoked, and fortunately seems more interested in chatting according to our previous operatives. While not being as great of a threat as Z-13, the Saboteur, if possible, exterminate her as long as it does not Jeopardize your mission. Do not be deceived, she may be wearing an EXR-P team Jumpsuit, but she is not an ally. More importantly, don’t let your guard down around her, no matter how friendly she appears. She will trick you.

drew the colorgang and purple as my magical girl ocs that i still need to post more about (hence the niche audience). i also did this all in basically one sitting instead of working on coursework so there's that too

purple as star (hey fun fact john and star wind up in a relationship in story so technically that could be grapedu- *is tackled away from mic*)

red as drake (ough knowing plot stuff i just know red would be not happy with drake's situation early in the story i can't say more cuz spoilers)

second as avalon (again, no orange. but honestly storywise this does fit, plus they look adorable in the dress)

KNY Dorohedoro AU: WILDSIDE concept

Got this idea stuck in my head while I was doing some fast binge reading KNY fics -*in a whispered tone* mainly the ones with Demon Tanjiro- and doing other things that may or may not be related to KNY recently before when this AU just pop into my mind out of no where and I don't remember how it came to be so IDK, probably around while I was watching this video, but i'm pretty sure it was before that... maybe it was from thinking of other potential KNY au ideas rolling around in my skull while binge internet reading. And just this video lead me to give me just a enough motivation for me to post this Fusion Fic AU prompt here... amongst the pile of other Au ideas laying around in my files that will probably never see the light of day.

So the Dorohedoro-inspired idea & basic plot of this AU and prompt behind it is that it's kinda basically loosely Dorohedoro (as in the broadest of senses) but with KNY characters and probably some OCs that are thrown in too along with some other shits & stuff (there's a reason why it is called a Fusion Fic in TV Tropes terms): So one of our two or maybe more main characters is a scary-looking due to resembling like an actual Oni but actually is really nice if you know him amnesic demon/oni named/called Taiyouoni [太陽{たいよう}鬼{おに}] (who is technically an amnesic Tanjiro... yet he is not at the same time... It'sComplicatedIfYouHaven'tReadDorohedoroYet) -along with other potential names that I've thought up for him maybe like; Tanoni [炭{たん}鬼{おに}], Giki [曦{ギ}鬼{キ}], and/or Tanjioni [炭{たん}治{じ}鬼{おに}], among a few I could find and/or think up on, depending on which one you liked- who, alongside his pal and partner-in-crime-on-the-job accompanying him, Inosuke Hashibira (they would have a similar platonic relationship to Sam and Max. Also, I choose him bc he's my most favorite character in the series and was the one who introduced me to the series), are freelance Demon Slayers/Oni Slayers (since in the original japanese manga, the demons were called oni for a reason) together and is trying to search & find the demon/oni -or at least the culprit- who was responsible of transforming him into a demon/oni with a bunch of strange abilities that make him weird even by demon/oni standards like having the immunity of/being immune to the sun that made him the prime target for other demons/onis for instance -amongst the plethora of his other harmless-for-roughly-around-half-of-them but roughly-as-strange abilities- and leaving him unable to remember who he was before he was transformed into what he is now in the first place (hint: While he does exist in this AU, Muzan didn't transformed him despite him being the obvious culprit. As I said, it's complicated if you haven't read Dorohedoro yet), with the setting being something like a combination of 1920s Japan & America -including the elements of the time period like 1920s cities especially the American-influenced ones and gangsters/mafia- with a pitch & dash of both late 1910s & early 1930s and dieselpunk combined with elements of steampunk thrown in together along with some elements of other fantasy & scifi tropes too being mixed in as well. And probably other neat ideas from KNY fandom maybe being thrown in too.

For the mental imagine of Taiyouoni's character design with what he would looks like, I based his design & appearance on Goshinki from Inuyasha:

But probably with extra details, like- IDK... his body being absolutely covered in keloid scars from top to toe, kinda like ShinGoji's keloid scar-like red scales from Shin Godzilla.

So... yeah. Face of a thug is definitely at play here.

He would probably be also wearing a set of all-covering clothing over his body, including a gas mask -perhaps one with a long muzzle in order to fit his snout- for his face if he's outside, especially in a town &/or a city and during the daytime, with these random pics that I took from google imagines and probably other sites that I will might list here for references.

And he would probably later wear one of Sakonji's fox masks if he ever gets the chance to meet him in person properly, probably after clearing up the confusion from the Demon Slaying Corp toward him & his "unique" nature and managing to convince them & get through some of their thicker heads that no he's not dangerous nor would eat humans and yes he's genuinely harmless.

Not to hide he need to hide from the sun mind you since he's already immune to it, but for practical and pragmatic reasonings because.... a big purple scar-covered demon/oni would definitely be an eyesore to see.

Admittingly, the ideas including especially the design & appearance behind Taiyouoni influence this AU prompt. But you do got to admit, it's a cool concept to think and drawl on about.

The big one I keep drawing over and over again is Sunrazor. She’s yellow… I know it’s not a great or creative name but I only have my sister to help me. I’m at a disadvantage here.

Even tho she’s fricken massive her alt mode is a pick up truck.

But like- this might just be my region showing- yall know the big souped up trucks? The ones that are lifted and have huge wheels and LED lights. A fancy bush-guard, extra lights on top, a floodlight on the back. No muffler, a toolbox, usually blasting music. Those ones??? Does anyone else know what I’m talking about?

So, yeah, I image her alt mode is the Cybertronian version of that. Big souped up truck. Which is actually disproportionately small compared to her… I’m using the same logic that says Megatron can transform into a tiny little pistol for this. Look I don’t make the rules.

If I wanna make a giant truck transformer I can make a giant truck transformer. I just need her to be able to throw people around.

ive seen some very neat nameless ghoul ocs and decided to make my own :>

so meet pyre !! he's a fire ghoul turned quint ghoul, and is the ministrys dumbest little errand boy </3

more info below !!

SO !!! in my brain ive got like. two timelines going. there's my normal ghoul hcs (which, is what all my art is from unless otherwise stated) and then my like. pyre added au !! if that makes any sense,,,

pyre was summoned along side the 3.5 ghouls, and was sorta just meant to be a help-the-tour-ghouls ghoul. when dew was being transformed into a fire ghoul though, they needed to get the fire element from somewhere. so, they used Pyre, transferring all of his elemental power to dew, while dews water element burned away. (note that all that is purely in my pyre-added version, normally I think dew just went through a sort of standard ritual ! still rough on him, but no other sacrifices lmao)

the result of pyres element being taken sorta left him as a husk, as no element ghouls arent supposed to be a thing... this led to Omega sorta giving Pyre some of his quintessence, as he's like, a big strong ghoul who can do that or something idk lmao

but now he just runs errands around the ministry ! he's especially close with dew and omega as they have a kinda elemental attachment, but he is also a big fan of hanging with mountain ... he likes that mountain doesn't make him carry heavy stuff across the ministry ...

What's the origin of your blog's title?

It is the same as my bungo username and the reason for that is simple! Back when Bungie gave players a free name change, I decided it would be funny to name myself this due to the downright stupid amount of times that Taniks (or some form of Taniks, cough cough nightmare Taniks cough cough) has been brought back only for the guardians to get him again.

Favorite Fandoms:

Off the top of my head, I’d have to say Destiny, Transformers, The Dragon Prince, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and damn near everything Andy Weir has written(The Martian, my beloved. Along with Project Hail Mary, currently reading Artemis)

OTP(S) + shipname:

I don’t have any personal oc ships but in terms of Destiny, I. Love. Many of the relationships already in there. Such as Drifteris and Saintsiris.

Favorite Color:

I personally like red, especially when paired with black.

Favorite Game:

I can’t pin it down on any one thing but my most beloved games would have to be Destiny 2, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (along with Black Flag), and Minecraft!

If you could have any job you wish what would it be?

I’ve always wanted to be a video game developer, especially in regards to narrative. That’s mainly due to the fact of what the narrative team at Bungie have created, like how was I supposed to read ‘Hope is a currency. It buys tomorrow. It gives us what we need to survive today.’ And not go insane thinking about it. I’ve always wanted to create something like that for other gamers.

Making other people smile.

Getting over procrastination.

Being calm under pressure and being that anchor for other people when they’re stressed

See hobbies, I love creating a haiku when any muse strikes!

But besides that, I’d say getting error-coded while in the middle of a raid with friends on Destiny. Yeah that’s something that I’m pretty sure is hated universally.

Transformers legos! I’ve only recently started it to the point where I only have less than five but I’m happy with what I have so far! I also like to collect Destiny 2 merch. I’ve got some shirts and a jacket right now!

What's your love language?

I’m a firm believer that everyone needs at least a little bit of each love language. Of course, it varies in volume and from whom you are receiving it from. I think my the biggest one I like getting is physical touch! I love hugs, give me all of the hugs.

Favorite movie/show:

Favorite movie is definitely a tie between Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and Across The Spider-Verse. My favorite show might have to be Young Justice! Either that or Arcane, or Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. It’s hard to choose!

Favorite food:

Easily my dad’s smoked steak, I swear each and every time I take a bite into that stuff, it’s like I’m tasting heaven itself.

Favorite animal:

Gotta go with both wolves, bears, and owls!

Are you musical?

Oh absolutely, I really should take a video of myself killing it at any karaoke. Besides that, I love me a good musical. Personal favorites are Hamilton and The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals.

I’ve always loved theatre classes!

My Intro and Fics

Note: This will be edited as I continue working on my stories.

I've been lurking on Tumblr on and off for years now. But I've been getting more active on here that I've really gotten back into writing fanfiction. So, it may seem silly, but I felt an intro was in order.

I'm IceGirl2772. You can call me Ice or Icey. I've been writing fanfiction since I was 10 or 11. If you look at my FFN stuff... be prepared for the cringe. But nowadays, I am much more active on AO3.

Here is my profile link (AO3). Since the post is gonna be lengthy, as I provide a bit of background for the fandoms I write for and the stories I have, I'm adding a Read More. But in short, I write for the following fandoms (in alphabetical order): Big Time Rush (TV Series), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Criminal Case (video game), Harry Potter, Hawaii Five-0 (2010 series), Loonatics Unleashed, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012 series), Thunderbirds (1965 series) and Transformers: Prime. But then, he thinks of a little girl waiting for him at home, and remembers his determination to make the world a better place for her. For his daughter. For Kadelyn. And the weight of the world is instantly lifted off his shoulders when he says two words: 'Hey, butterfly.'

This fic is a rewrite of a very old, very cringey fic I had up on my FFN. All of the chapters are very short and focus on a moment between Nick and his young daughter before, during or after an episode.

This is the second story in a series I'm planning focusing on each Tracy brother and their love story. It's early days, but I'm happy with it so far.

Jeff reflects on the sacrifices he's asking his sons to make for his dreams, and is resolved to do what he can to rectify that.

Brains had given the Tracy family a great gift this Christmas. One they were determined to make use of.

This is written in reference to the Thunderbirds episode Give or Take a Million, where Brains made it snow on Tracy Island. So, the boys enjoy it the old-fashioned way. This was written as part of the Winter Fest on the FanfictionExchange subreddit and gifted to @kristylime, a good friend of mine and co-mod who gave me the idea. Thanks, mate.

Sequel to 'Save You'.

It's been two years. The Decepticons have retreated into the shadows. Talida is haunted by her experiences, but is slowly moving forward with the help of her loved ones. But the tranquility is disrupted when the Decepticons make a dramatic return to the scene, causing a significant blow to the Autobot forces and marking the resumption of a war that has haunted Talida since birth. The Autobots gear up for another fight alongside old and new allies, but will they all emerge unscathed?

As mentioned, this is a sequel to Save You. This follows season one of the show, but some changes will have to be made because, in this series, Jack knew about the Autobots before the show's canon.
