Hiya! If you don’t mind me asking, what’s a ginger bug?
a yeast culture made with ginger! for making ginger beer :3 theyre real simple. think sourdough starter but for. ginger beer... u just need a swing top airtight jar and a shitload of ginger.
basically: dissolve 2 tsp sugar into 2 cups water. add an ounce of chopped or coarsely grated fresh ginger. try not to wash the ginger too much beforehand. like get dirt off if theres dirt but thats where the yeasts live so dont scrub them all away. set her out on the counter at room temp and every day feed her 1 more ounce of ginger (chopped again) and 1 teaspoon of sugar.
after like a week or so she will start to bubble and froth up when you open the jar and then you can make ginger beer :) basically add ginger bug liquid to fill 18% of the volume your (STERILIZED!!!!) bottle and then any fruit juice or sweetened tea of your choice until as full as u like. when i say sweetened i mean sweetened as fuck the yeasts need to eat the sugar. the proportion of sugar can be experimented with but mines 18% grams of sugar per ml of liquid if that makes sense so like for a whole gallon of tea you would add 681g of sugar... fruit juice is usually sweet enough on its own.
make sure to let it cool before u add it to the yeast so it doesnt cook them & leave at least an inch of head room. then seal & set somewhere nice and warm for a couple days. u need a swing top bottle and u gotta open it once a day or she will fucking explode. once shes as bubbly as you like, chill and serve :)

i'm curious about the new dorms in pairs! leeknow said they all got to choose who they wanted to live with. is it true and are they satisfied with the member they are with? (i know its not been long since they moved in together). and how do they welcome that change on a personal level? thank you!!
Hi:) so i reformed the question a little bit, since before the reading i felt like the members theyre with was a mutual decision they're all content with. I don't feel like they really had much preferences either. So either way i think most of them would've been pretty content with whoever they ended up with. After all they have lived with everyone once, and more or less have learned to live with each member.
That being said i find the topic intriguing myself, especially after laying the cards so I've prepared a follow up reading going more into details like what was the overall reason the group decided to move. What was each members motivation to want/not want to move. What co-living in each dorm is like, like looks, vibes, routines, dynamic, personal relationship, individual relationship with oneself, changes of before, likes and dislikes etc. so stay tuned🥰✨🙌🏻

Chan - 5 of Swords, The Fool, 2 of Cups
Out of all Chan seems to be the only one that didn't welcome the change with open hands. I feel he might've had some reservations and maybe feared that the bond between them might weaken or even break if they now spend less time with each other. U know you get used to someone when living together so u get a bit blind about stuff that would annoy you. And by moving out into pairs he might've feared that some members might once again start to bicker (im thinking of han and hyunjin😂) Despite that he kind if gave in or was overpowered by the majority when making that decision and is actually pretty content now with i.n as his roommate.
I.N - 3 of Wands, 2 of Wands
He was so in for the whole change. Very enthusiastic. I think him, hyunjin and leeknow are the most excited and happiest ones. He took a big part in planing and executing the move i feel like. He was definitely very involved. I think now he has way more (mental) space to indulge in things he might've not been able to before now that he has more peace and quite and more space. He's excited for the fruits of it all.
Lee Know - 4 of Wands, Page of Swords
He feels really happy, kind of like he hit the jackpot or something. This might've been something he has awaited for a while and now he finally has it. Other than that i don't see much tbh. I think he's just excited to start his living together with Han and build a closer relationship and create an intertwined life with each other(?).
Han - 9 of Pentacles, 6 of Cups
He feels the whole thing was a big success/jackpot too and is very happy with the move as well. I believe he's excited to have it easier. I see him finally being able to take care of his inner child, and also for his inner child to be taken care of by Leeknow specifically. He feels like he can relax and let himself be cared for and pampered - something he apparently couldn't do and didn't get while in the other dorms. Both of them are very compatiable as in ones needs automatically fulfills the others needs and vice versa. They really do each other good.
Changbin - Queen of Cups, The Empress
Changbin is also very content with the change and i feel like he wants to use this time and newfoudn space and peace to get to know himself better and grow. To care better for himself. To nurture himself more. I feel like he's kind of over the bachelor / youngster life and wants to slowly step into a more adult role and become more autonomous and mature when it comes to life and general. I feel like he kind of steps in a new era and is in a state of a metamorphosis or something, where he turns from a boy to a man, and other stuff begin to interest him slowly and for that he needs to change to. But he can't feel like a reliable man, capable to provide for his partner and eventually his family, if he has lived his whole life with his parents or his other bachelor friends. He wants to take this opportunity to become more "serious" and reliable - build himself and his confidence in his skills to "survive" on his own. Learn what it is to live by yourself (even if he still shares the apartment with hyunjin) and get used to, in advance, of what life with a partner would be like. Kind of like practice for the future and indirect manifesting.
Hyunjin - The Sun, 3 of Pentacles
Hyunjin feels amazing and is really, really happy about the move. He can finally flourish. I think he's that type of introvert where the more people there are around him, the more dampened his energy gets. Now when he shares an apartment just with changbin (who's also very focused on his own thins recently) he can unfold and flourish fully the way he wants to. I think he wants to learn new things and engage even more in his own hobbies and interest and he actually looks forward to when he actually misses the members or human contact. I think in the past years he's been so stifled continuously, feeling slightly suffocated by the amount if people around him that he has forgotten what it is to actually want to see people. To crave human contact. He's happy that now with his newfound peace and space he can enjoy his own company to the point where he will start actually craving other people himself.
Felix - Temperance
Felix's reading wasn't very detailed or colorful. Basically he's just content with the new living arrangements. He would've been fine either way tho:)
Seungmin - Justice, Knight of Pentacles
Fo him imnpt getting anything specific either, i guess he's just indifferent and will continue just living for himself and do his own thing, maybe a tad bit easier now that he shares his space only with one member.

Ooh okay good friend @tnnagegrrl theyre not the best recipes and some of them are made by mom so i wont really be able to tell the ingredients very detailed but before i say any recipe just know that stevia sweetener/zero cal sweeteners are my bsfs in most these recipe cause im sort of broke i cant get things like almond milk and oat flour and stuff lolol

1. Apples with cinnamon absloutly my favourite and like it doesnt even need a recipe but i just slice an apple into really small slices and add half a tsp of cinnamon if the apple is not very sweet i add a bag of stevia
2. Cantaloupe or cucumber with however many bags you like of stevia sweetener always saves me from a binge honestly
3. Now the hard core stuff! Lmao i saw this recipe of a mug cake and i havent stopped following it ever since just because the ingredients listed are all always in my house so heres the picture

The cake my mom makes is really high in calories but i found a way to eat less while still showing i eat more i slice the piece which is usually 400 cals or smth in half and then slice low cal fruits on top and maybe bring a Pepsi coke into the sitting it usually fills me up more so (i guess this is just tips on how to survive high cal food your friends or family make lol)
5. I love the taste of whole wheat toast bread and its actually very sweet to me so i usually take it with a cup of coffee or smth also helps very much with craving lol
6. Dates! High in cals i knows but also high in sugar makes me feel like i ate a whole cake! So it helps very much when im craving any sweets that are too unhealthy. I usually pick the very ripe ones theyre very sweet.
Im sorry i dont have much but i usually dont have much sweets other than those because i love repeating my routines most of the time so if i ever try a new thing (which i will be scared to do so lolol) ill make sure to list it here!! Have a nice day and stay safe everyone!

exam season. you've been grinding all week on papers, revision...and when you finally got time to see kook at the campus cafe, you really needed someone to rant your heart out to. from latin legal terminologies to how awful your professor is being, you could not help but go on and on. jungkook patiently listens (he's not really paying attention because you've been rambling for the past hour non-stop but he knows you really just need to get these thoughts out before you two can do your lovey-dovey talk), waiting for you to take a break and sip your coffee. "y/n...do you not have anything else to say to me?" you were caught off guard, swallowing your coffee to respond. ".....i love you?" the large, soft hand holding yours under the table suddenly tightened its grip, he bowed his head shyly suppressing a fat grin, muttering under his breath. "you know you can tell me that in private..."

two games straight ?? thats so silly.. and also your weekend is basically gone too byebye. rowing regattas usually take up like 6+ hours so youre pretty much at the place for the entire day ... it was freezing cold this one time and it was raining and i was sick and dying and we had to wear this skimpy ass tanktops and shorts that made me look like a T W I N K while rowing and girl we were all fucking shaking. like straight on trembling LMAO that day was not a good one ... even afterwards i was shaking so hard i could barely eat (giggles)
uhhokmllfkdjf this is awkward rn its stil pretty early like 12:31 soooo... we went to go get our visas to go back to the MOTHERLAND. E E E. E throws confetti im so excited to go back to china over summer break since the last time i visitrd it was like pre-covid and its been like 5 orr 6 years ... but yea we bopped over to chinatown while we were there and got a hAUL of asian snacks and a big ass meal that made me go "is this what its like to be pregnant because im boutta p o p."
because i am in the silly mood of wanting to overshare...
so we got these lolipops and idk what theyre called but they are my entire fucking childhood, a giant pack of fruit pudding cups (which i devoured. theyre all gone), cici jelly drinks E E E E i wanted mogu mogu but my brother chcked the bottle and they were expired giggles. little does he know (he does know i told him LMAO) that the cici's were expired october of 2023... they tasted fine though so no complains here <33
uhmuhm what else did we by i fogor but we got bottles of 冰糖雪梨which is basically happiness (and sugar) in a bottle. very scrumptious. 1000/10

Carrot Pineapple Muffins
The recipe for the muffins seen here, well. Sort of anyway.
Recipe as written, on a page from maybe a website or book? I just have a photo copy I reprint as needed (read: as the paper falls victim to mishaps)
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup salad oil
2 eggs
1 cup finely grated raw carrot
1/2 cup crushed pineapple with juice
1 tsp vanilla
Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt together in large bowl. Add oil, eggs, carrot, pineapple and vanilla.
Blend on low speed until all is moist, then beat for 2 minutes at medium speed. Half fill greased muffin tins and bake at 350 F for 25 minutes.

however... u dont have a recipe in your life this long and Not Fuck With It.
Number One alteration that ive never NOT done (well maybe once by accident?) blend those pineapples. well it very well might be to ppls preference to have little morsels of pineapple in there. but a blended pineapple slurry just makes it like. applesauce muffins. just a nice moist texture throughout idk
Number 1.5 is u can make this a cake if u like. i guess thats obivious. BUT. Its good. i had this for many a birthday. ice that shit, normal buttercream please what is with the cream cheese obsession i dont know. do what u like but dont limit urself to expectation okay. Bakes into a nice really brown cake. U gotta bake this recipe like 'well done' if u want it to have any kind of structural intregrity so its kinda? crusty? i like it tho.
Number 2. ratios. in an impluse that im sure started in some healthy eating for the kids blah blah. but its just how i make it now. I tend to increase the pineapple and decrease the oil and use one egg? how much?? ehhhhhh..... like like a cup of pineapple. and 1/3 oil? does that math out? probably not idk. dont do it like how i do it maybe probably but thats how i do it
ALSO. MORE CINNAMON. Live deliciously. could go up to a tbsp of cinnamon honestly. Maybe even apple pie or chai spices. Could do whatever.
Number 3. definitional quibbles. "makes 24 muffins" whos muffins.... i find this tends to make me about 15 large muffins. maybe 16-18 if u want to be safe from over flow? and more if u want to fill em with a jam thing.
"finely grated carrot" using a grater with wholes less that like... idk half a centremeter gives me a bad time. u want like. chedder cheese size not parmesan.
oh also "salad oil" i use canola or vegatable. is that what it means by that? [makes i dunno noise] you could sub with various melted fats. there would be differences but not a big deal. butter or marg or coconut. whatever.
Number 4. Process. Oh mostly just I mix all the liquids together and then add them to the dry ingredients. (u could pop them all into blender together if u want) im mixing this shit by hand so u know. usuaully i do carrots a dry ingredient but that might not even be a good choice again ignore what im doing.
and again bake time. Ur really gonna want to check on them to to make sure their done. like toothpick check colour check whatever. their moist so its not a big like. over cook problem i think. AND i think theyre really good after sitting in the fridge or freezer and getting reheated (fresh baked goods are soooo tasty but a microwave is also a wonderful invention)
post thought. the jam. i dont usually fill these muffins usually i save that for applesauce ones, but i did last time. i tend to just heat whatever frozen berries, little lemon or lime juice. uhhhh maybe 1/4 cup of sugar? in a small sauce pan. how much fruit. ??? enough. i fill each muffin with like. a tablespoon. so idk. math that one out. needs to be a thick sauce! (however if its TOO thick then u also lose out on messy pick apart muffin treat. ur call) and chilled. if u wanna avoid Big Mess Muffin. lmao. u could swril the jam in or whatever else to but. effort.

Breakfast
Fried egg and Daiya vegan cheese sanwhich on wheat bread (pan toasted w olive oil)
2 clemintines
Leftover Hardy's biscuit
Dinner
1 Impossble Sausage (vegan), pieced up and pan-fried in olive oil
1 cup of white rice
3 yellow squash, sliced and steamed (seasoned with pepper, Lawry's season salt, and olive oil).
I almost made myself two sandwhiches this morning, one with egg, and one without. But i figured that would be too much for breakfast since I wasnt terribly hungy and planned to nap afterward (I didnt rip). But the biscuit that i got on a visit to my grandma's over the weekend definitely gave my breakfast more volume that made me feel fuller. That couples with plently of water to drink. The clemintimes added a nice sweet element to my breakfast and also some fruit portion that was enough for that time of day.
As for dinner last night, swell as usual with those ingredients! Cant go too wrong with yellow squash (though it is easy to over or under salt them lol. Didnt this time tho), and white rice truly goes with everything.
I made the Impossible brat last over a week! They only come 4 a pack, which is a bit pricey for how much they are (when not on sale, theyre almost $10). But tbh, its one of those things that you pay for to get the quality AND healthier, more sustainable alternative out of. Its def a treat and I figured I can make it last by piecing it apart as well as spacing out days when I plan to cook it (for instance, I decide one day I'll eat vegan, but trhe other I'll be only pescatarian and the next vegetarian). At that price I can still feel like its worth it, and the oast few times I went to the store they were on sale. So I'm def keeping lookout for those opportunities bc I love this stuff! Great umami taste and crispy sausage texture (its cute how it starts out red to resemble raw meat, but for me thats not necessary. A substitute doesnt have to evoke its original in any way except mainly flavor. I digress lol).
I enjoy cooking a lot now and will soon experiment with meal prep for days in advance, preferably up to 2 (then eventually the whole week, or at least a week of options, frozen to have ready for later). If anyone has some good meal prep regiment ideas (esp for neurodivergent folks), id appreciate u dropping them off in this post!

low cal meal tips
here’s a few meal alterations and recipes i have that make eating low cal easier, and healthier!
black coffee/espresso- cafe a la llave espresso
cuban coffee bean is very sweet and rich in flavor so drinking it without adding anything isn’t as unpleasant as drinking a plain american.
if you have a sweet tooth or just cant stand bitter coffee, this is a perfect alternative.
2 cals per 8 oz
healthy sandwich/toast alternatives
this is my go to lunch meal: two slices of toasted challah or whole grain bread, 2 turkey ham slices, equal lettuce slices for each bread, and two slices of tomato.
challah bread is made without butter, and is sweeter, so when i cant come across whole grain bread, i use challah. both are about 80 cals per slice.
this recipe can be really diverse; you can also replace the bread with low carb tortillas if you would like it to be lower in calories + add or replace it with cucumber and tuna or eggs and avocado. its up to your preference!
i like this because it provides a healthy balance of carbs, protein, and greens, and overall its refreshing and filling.
about 200 cals per sandwich- but it varies depends on what you make it with. you can slice it in half and save the rest for later to have 100 cals per meal if you’re looking to eat lower cals
oatmeal
plain cooked oats with a pinch of salt for flavor cooked with water, not milk
you can add almonds, some fruit, or cinnamon if you want extra protein or flavor!
this is my go to if i need fiber and want to stay full for a long period of time
140 cals for 1/2 cup of dry oats, but i usually do 1/4 cup of dry oats for 70 cals
quest protein bars
after trying a lot of different protein bars, this is now my go to
they’re the lowest in cals per serving in comparison with other brands, and provide the most protein per serving as well
at first the flavor and texture is a little gross, but after a while and once you get used to it, its a great alternative if you’re craving dessert or something sweet
170-200 cals per bar, depending on the flavor. (theres a wide variety of favors to choose from!)
those are all the meal tips for now, theyre not very original, but i’ll make an updated list as i come up with more recipes!

How misunderstood is your OC? In-universe or IRL. oh god. okay. okay Hue Man on Earth is a story that is. REALLY hard for me to share, despite how much I do try to talk about it publicly (or at least update my toyhouse as much as possible when i feel like doing that), there's always that sense of. people either boiling my characters down to Tropes/who's the Bad one and who's the Good One. whos the character thats meant to be a personal attack on someone (none of them are) n whos the character that is meant to be relatable (none of them are PURPOSELY written to be that way) n it just. really goddamn sucks sometimes. i could talk about specifics with my main trio specifically, over the course of time that i've had Hue, Magni, and Clyde, theyve all been weirdly misunderstood in their own way that i have gotten to the point of having to reevaluate those folks n look inward into seeing if that perception of themselves can be weaved into the plot. but honestly i think ill catch myself in a bad mood atm if i think about it too hard. tldr on that; i try to microdose my story when sharing it to others, n even then i get really nervous about the idea that my story wont be valued/understood as a whole, which is partially of my own doing as well bc i do have a tendency to Put a Lot into characters once i get super attached to them. ..so nowadays im too burned out to do that :"P once i make that pitch bible, it probably still wont fix that, but its still a project im committing to nonetheless! 🧅 [ONION] What is surefire to make your OC cry? Who knows of this information? Hue) hard to answer with a creature like him. objectively, he doesnt cry. its not needed for him to release emotion the same way it does for Earth-things. but he does it anyway, or at least the equivalent (letting go of parts of his body in droplets from his eyes, just for them to crawl back to his body) it's less about "am i sad right now and do i have to cry" and more like "is crying appropriate for this situation.". after his Human arc in arc 5, its something he actually stops doing as a whole because experiencing the feeling of crying in a human body like. Actually Fucks him up REAL bad NJWKEFNAJKWFNAKWEF Magni) the "sillier" or "unrelated to themselves" the issue is, the more theyll have a tendency to genuinely cry over it. they cry when they know no one else is there to mourn over the problem they're crying about, which is why they'll have a very Stone Flat Face when Witnessing the horrors, but will have an absolute meltdown over dropping their favorite cup Clyde) Honestly that motherfucker will cry over. like....anything? Honestly? to the point where it can be unpredictable. Clyde's emotions are based less on the Cause of Crying and more about the intensity of its emotions. any time it gets overwhelmed, it will cry, and its been labeled a crybaby inuniverse because of that 🍏 [GREEN APPLE] How do they differ from the norm and how are they punished for it? answering this all together, and honestly without having to like. explain the whole plot of HMoE in one setting. Hue seen as different from the norm not because he's an alien but because he's technically an illegal immigrant, Magni and Clyde are autistic PoC that also Do Not Fit Well into their hometown whatsoever. may i need to say anything else. 🥑 [AVACADO] What will they never back down about, even if it makes them seem bad?

I made stir fry :D

i dont take foodpics very often so these may or may not do it justice
Recipe under the cut:
The Ingredients:
Yakisoba noodles (the package I used was like 17 ounces)
Thin-cut beef (the one i got was labeled for stir frying) (can be substituted for chicken, or ham, or tofu, or whatever else you want. i used beef though.)
Lemon juice
Lime juice
2-3 medium yellow potatoes, sliced
Minced garlic
Dried chow mein noodles (as a topping/side/garnish)
Fruit, veg, etc (can be adjusted to taste, feel free to add/remove things you think you'll like)
Sweet peas (mine were frozen) (about half a bag, or to taste)
shredded carrot (a handful or two)
1 can (8 ounces) of pineapples
1 can (8 ounces) of water chestnuts
The Sauce
1 cup of soy sauce
4 tablespoons of sugar
6 tablespoons of rice vinegar
6 tablespoons sesame oil
8 tablespoons vegetable oil or canola oil
10 teaspoons of minced garlic (make sure to get some of that juice in)
2 teaspoons of chili sauce
White sesame seeds, to taste (i put enough so that most of the top of the sauce was mostly-almost covered with floating seeds and garlic)
Instructions
(the noodles I bought were already cooked. If your yakisoba noodles need to be cooked/boiled (if theyre still dry and hard) do that first.)
Combine all the ingredients for the sauce in a pitcher or large measuring cup. stir it well, but don't worry too much if (when) it separates. Add the noodles to the sauce and let them soak.
While thats soaking, coat the bottom of a large frying pan in oil, and heat at medium until the oil is hot. When the oil is hot, add your meat in.
Pour in a little bit of sauce from your noodles. Not too much though, just enough for taste.
Stir the meat regularly until its pretty much done. at this point add in your potatoes!
Stir regularly until the potatoes are done.
Once the potatoes are done, add your vegetables and other add-ins (except for the potatoes, of course) to your pot with the noodles and sauce. Make sure to get a little bit of pineapple juice in there! at this step I also added another teaspoon-ish of garlic and a little more sesame seeds.
Also add a couple good squirts of lemon juice - dont be afraid to overdo it - and a good squirt or two of lime juice.
You may need to go back and stir your meat and potatoes a few times while doing this.
Once all your stuff is in your noodles and sauce, give it a little stir, then gently pour it - sauce and all - into the pot with your meat and potatoes.
pull up a chair because this looks like it'll take a while and your feet are still sore from wandering about safeway trying to find steakumms before giving up and getting real, actual, fresh meat
Cook off the sauce, stirring often. You'll want to stir it more as the sauce cooks off more.
dont be afraid to add in more of your veg as it cooks - I added in more pineapple, water chestnuts, and carrots about halfway through
once pretty much all of the sauce has cooked off, its done!
add some chow mein noodles on top, and enjoy!
this served 2 people with plenty of leftovers, so I'd say this serves about 4.

im gonna break the 160s soon im so excited i think
tw tw ed stuf, numbers, specific stuff with me, do not recommend ofc,
just ramblings abt life tbh
idk if im going thru weird stuff emotionally or not but its been really easy to liquid fast whole days or not eat much during the week, when im around ppl its worse but ive reached a point where its getting easier and maybe thats kind of scary bc im prolly not getting enough protein bUT!!
when i am eating i never feel bad if its beef or chickeni just try to have a lot of veggies and low carbs if its possible and its like, it was hard but my body prefers this bc maybe some foods make me nauseous or maybe its just knowing that i hate feelong too full or full at all, so if i eat more i have to ease into it
but idk i am rly anxious abt stuff and just trying to live and do well at school ya know
at this point i get distracted so much with hobbies and small social stuff that i only have enough time for school and money for survival if i am working and doing schoolwork all the time, and during work even though I have infinite access to food and smoothies I force myself to drink water bc im always dehydrated anyway and the smoothies have always made my stomach uncomfortable. ill have small amounts tho, or some whipped cream w espresso in the espresso cups r so cute,
but anyway a week or 2 ago i was 160 or 162 but then my mom came into town and it was my partners bday so i was eating some stuff but still avoided a lot? but i did eat a lot of chocolate covered strawberries lmao they were good tho i dont regret (theyre technically still fruit rigghhhttt)
and i didnt rly we1gh myself but then i was 167 ish again at the end of the day but now im 161 so its weird but i just want to get past this for good and be in the 150s like i need to get to the normal/healthy weight at LEAST and keep my muscles since im starting to see them in some places.itll take a lot more work to have abs thoughhh, whatwvee gn sorry if you had to read thru my ramblings
oh also i got rly cute oxford type sketcher shoes and i really hope im able to land an internship / leads at the career fair in a couple weeks n i know the shoes will complete the look and i just want to be attractive and competent idk but i dont do school enough / fast enough rip

ed food starter pack
whoever finds this i hope it helps heres a list of food to look out for at grocery stores and stuff that i've curated over the course of maybe four months of this hell.
Drinks
Diet soda obviously. A lot of people drink coke zeros diet cokes work for me too cuz idrc about sugar or carbs or anything i just really care about calories. Plus i've found fizzy liquids can feel pretty filling temporarily
Energy drinks, it also helps more than diet soda because of the caffeine content. You lose a lot of energy when you eat a lot less so I like these
Vitamin water, you can find it in bulk at like costco and online, not fizzy but they do make me feel like heavy and they're 0 caal. i think there's a couple that are 5-10 caal but that's because they have fiber or something so its worth it imo just look out for the watermelon peach flavor and the raspberry dark chocolate flavor
Drinkable jelly, it kind of feels like you're eating something and they don't taste bad flavor or texture wise. Usually like 2-5 caal
Fucking ice. Idk. It works for me. Like just bite the fucking cubes
Snacks + meals
Oyster crackers, 60 caal per 22 pieces for Nabisco brand. I just find them at like safeway or wherever
Baby food star puffs, 25 caal per 1/2 cup for Gerber brand. They actually taste really nice too. I usually eat them when I wanna binge bc theyre so low calorie and my mouth can only fit like maybe 1/4 cup at most
Fiber one soft baked bars, 70 caal per bar and they taste pretty good. Also can be found at safeway. They've also got cereal, oat bars, protein bars, and some other stuff but I haven't really tried those. I've tried the oat bars though they're good but definitely not worth the caals
Whipped cream, 5 caal per 2 tbsp if you get fat free Reddiwhip. I think its 10 caal for the same amount full fat. Also good if you want to binge
Rice cakes, 35 caal per cake for Quaker brand. I feel like everyone knows about these. I personally actually do really like them and they're mildly filling. They have flavored ones but be really careful because most of the flavored ones have like 10-15 caal added. Check the nutrition label.
Chocolate pudding cups, 70 caal per cup for sugar free Snack pack brand. The caals aren't that impressive but usually people use them as a chocolate replacement so technically they are. I like dipping strawberries in them
Gum, this is very obvious everyone knows about it too. Whatever brand whatever flavor you get it's usually <10 caal.
Laughing cow cheese LIGHT make sure you get it LIGHT 25 caal per wedge. And I actually do really like the taste and the texture isn't bad. For some reason I can never find the light ones at safeway just the regular ones, I usually get them at costco
Almond milk, 30 caal per cup for unsweetened Almond Breeze brand. Never tried the sweetened version because its twice the caalories but the unsweetened kind of tastes like shitty water. I usually only eat it with low caal cereal or with milo (south asian low caal hot chocolate mix basically) honestly the only reason i drink it at all is because its pretty impressive compared to regular milk
Greek yogurt, 90 caal per 3/4 cup if you get Light + Fit brand. I feel like this is a pretty obvious one too. You can get unsweetened to make greek yogurt + ranch seasoning "ranch" but make sure it's Chobani or Fage or something because if not they might jack up the caalories super high. Again, CHECK THE NUTRITION LABEL. I find all three brands mentioned at safeway
Low cal popcorn, 40 caal per cup for Lesser evil brand regular flavor. I find it at costco, look for a cartoon image of a pink monk
Fruits + veggies which is so obvious but I don't care. Literally any are low caalorie just search it up for specific ones. Exceptions are maybe bananas and avocados.
Progresso soups, caal can range widely. I find them at safeway, look for any that have vegetables in the title and/or say "reduced sodium" at the top. I mean all of them are low caalorie but those are just significantly less. I think the lowest I've found so far is 110 per cup
Diet bread, 45 caal per slice if you get Sara Lee brand. I find that exact brand at safeway, but there's other random ones at safeway and costco. Just tastes like whole wheat bread, but is definitely smaller in size.
Konjac rice and noodles, idk about the noodles but konjac rice is like 10 caal per 100g. Never had it but i've heard the texture's kind of weird. Can't find it anywhere in person, i think you have to buy it online
Baking
0 caal sugar, i just use like splenda. you can find it next to all the regular sugar at safeway or wherever. its like bad for your gut but idrc cuz if i had a heart attack tomorrow i'd honestly be so happy
coconut flour, 60 caal per 1/4 cup which sounds like a lot but compared to regular is really good. idk the brand i have i just chose the lowest caal option at safeway. also found next to all the regular flour. it's also really absorbent so you're supposed to use a 1:4 ratio of it compared to regular flour.
