yk, I think it's really funny (I'm about to cry) that in the s1 ep11 - s2 ep1, when cheng xiaoshi sees lu guang dying, he keeps his mind clear, fights well with the possessed qiao ling, not letting the red eyes guy harm her at the same time worries about lu guang and, as we later find out, also remembers the info (like he was able to tell the most important moments without hesitation). i mean, lu guang does look pretty dead at this moment, but xiaoshi is still holding up well, wow

meanwhile, lu guang, when he sees qian jin hurting xiaoshi... well, he's not just scared af, he immediately, I would even say, mindlessly rushes at qian jin (not even checking on xiaoshi lol (I think he understands that this shoot will not kill him but still-)

usually lu guang is the one who keeps his mind clear and calm in all situations, when cheng xiaoshi very often acts rashly and thoughtlessly driven by emotions (even if in the season 2 he is a little more rational)

but when danger threatens dear people..

lu guang is the one who will be ready to kill for someone who is dear to his heart, aaand xiaoshi is able to pull himself together and act consistently

I think it might also work with the "go back in time and save a life" thingie, like xiaoshi is able to resist his wish to dive back in time and save his bf, even if it kills him inside and all this because of lu guang's words and his own understanding what his actions may entail

(we don't know what he would do if he saw lu guang's dead body, but the fact is that he cannot allow himself to do something so serious with the flow of time)

while lu guang is ready to become the main hypocrite in the world, make irreparable changes in the flow of time, and take this sin upon himself, if only cheng xiaoshi would live.

so I wonder if this is because lu guang has already witnessed several deaths of cheng xiaoshi or is he initially more protective and emotional, but he's really good at hiding it?

[ID: A colourless, digital Trigun comic of Vash and Wolfwood talking about Wolfwood's scars. They're both laying in bed and topless. Vash lays on top of Wolfwood, playing with the rosary around his neck. Then, Vash kisses a spot on Wolfwood's chest. Wolfwood asks, "What are you doing?" Vash smiles sadly, "You got shot here. In the last town we visited. You didn't even bother moving."

Vash props himself up over Wolfwood, who frowns slightly. Wolfwood is quiet for a moment before he says, "You remember that, huh?" Vash grabs Wolfwood's left wrist and brings it to his face. "And here." He kisses another spot there. "When you helped free the hostages from that robber..." Wolfwood dismissively says, looking away, "Was a lucky shot." Vash huffs, “Don’t brag. Jeez.”

Half of Wolfwood's expression is shown, eyes returning to Vash who is now sitting up, continuing to say, "And..." Vash goes on and kiss Wolfwood's right palm. "You got cut here, even though that girl was aiming at me." A moment from the past flashes, of Wolfwood grabbing a knife aimed at Vash, his hand bleeding.

At present, Vash moves down and puts another kiss on Wolfwood's right shoulder. "And here, from watching my back." Another memory flashes of Wolfwood and Vash back to back. Vash looks back as Wolfwood grins while holding Punisher, bleeding from multiple gunshots in his shoulder.

"And," Vash combs up Wolfwood's hair to reveal his forehead, "Here." A final memory shows Wolfwood with a regeneration vial in his mouth while getting shot on his temple. The next panel is framed in blood with Vash at the center, eyes wide and stunned in horror. The next panel is a closed up shot of Wolfwood's eye, locked on Vash's face.

Back to present, Vash’s head is bowed down as Wolfwood raises a hand to his nape and says, “Spikey.”

Wolfwood looks serious and frowns as he says, "We talked about this. Those were my decisions. They're not there anymore. Forget about them." Vash looks very sad before he smiles ruefully and says, "I still see them. All the time." He leans down so they touch foreheads. Wolfwood’s sorrowful expression can be seen as Vash says, "You protect so much. I could never forget what you've done to me. And many others..."

In the last image, they're drawn more cartoonishly. Wolfwood sweats and asks, "You don't actually remember every wound, right?" Vash points at a spot on his chest. "Kuroneko left a scratch here 7 times." Wolfwood, startled, says, "Why the hell are you keeping count—" End ID]

there was a little teaser at the end that implied there'll be a sequel event, though we don't really know anything beyond that! I do think it's likely we'll get the other half of the cast in it, even if it's just wishful thinking on my part. 🤞🤞 NIGHTMARE SUITS FOR EVERYONE!!!!

as far as I know there's been no confirmation on whether it's going to be next year's Halloween event or a separate thing (the snow makes me think it'll be more Christmas-themed, or otherwise more related to the plot of the original movie) so. we're probably going to have to wait quite a while before we find out anything solid. :') they really do love just dropping these things on us and then watching us go absolutely wild with speculation while they watch like

Stop asking me everyday to help you to manifest what you want. Your circumstances are not special. Your circumstances are not unique, and no your subconscious mind is not gonna be like I am not gonna give you that but you can manifest something else. You don't have resistance. There is no such thing as a big manifestation or a small one. If you don't mind me telling you but manifesting one dollar or manifesting a complete 360° degree change in someone is all the same to your mind, unless you believe otherwise. Writing out all of your circumstances in my asks and dms only tells me how you're not willing to change because you clearly aren't listening to what I say. Because if you did, you'd be sending me success stories or even thanks.if you're not willing to change what makes you think that I'll be able to do it for you? I can manifest for you but I won't. Because you're the creator in your reality, why would I bother doing something that you can clearly do yourself?! Sometimes i think about this op color spread and how luffy wears a shirt with "good shoes take you to good places" written on it, and zoro wears an apron with "good shoes" written on it.

Tbh i'm pretty sure oda just wanted to be a lil bit silly(?) here for a sec, but if i reallyy think about it... even with zoro's gag: his (lack of) sense of direction, when luffy's with zoro... they always end up where they are supposed to be? (also luffy always has the most fun when he's adventuring with zoro) So i genuinely think that "the good shoes (zoro) take you (luffy) to good places" is not entirely too far of a stretch??

And also about this other color spread.. luffy wears a coat with "every drop in the ocean counts" written on it, while zoro wears a coat with "made ripple" written on it. And well... you know what they say, "a single drop though falls into an ocean, it will cause a ripple"

Idk but i just love how sometimes they are complementing each other even through their attires?? (Let it be that the words written on their clothes are connected to one other, or something like this)

Like i just think that it's truly insane how they really complement each other?? either literally speaking (like their personalities or principles in canon) or metaphorically (like with their attires, their fav things (meat+beer), and many other things) Sometimes i think they really are like two puzzle pieces that fit together perfectly... like there really can't be the captain of the strawhats without a first mate or a first mate without the captain. What would they be without each other really? like without ever meeting each other luffy's life would've been a whole lot different and vice versa

Ify is a genius for the reflection move, but it is a sucker punch of implications for the universe of NSBU. By the calm, encouraging way that Vic (and later G13) talk to their counterparts, one can assume that these characters are somewhat aware that they are characters in a movie. Or, at the very least, they are aware that they exist in a universe where certain people are sometimes possessed by, essentially, aliens, that they then have to guide through their lives in order to regain control of their own bodies. By all accounts that should be a horrifying thing to reckon with, but the reflections we’ve seen so far seem at peace with this. It seems like they’ve been through this who knows how many times, and it also seems like they retain memory of their previous possessions, and likely have clocked their possessors use of movie tropes to survive NSBU. Ergo, the six main characters of NSBU are likely AWARE they are main characters in a movie and retain a certain level of invincibility that most people around them do not (i.e. the expendability of the grunts trope).

Which begs the question, what are these guys actually like when nobody from our world is around????
