I love and hate Severus Snape in equal measures. Also, Harry Potter would have been 100% better if he was actually a vampire but only the teachers and the golden trio knew for sure. Thoughts on drarry

I didn’t like Draco before reading the books. In the movies, they just portrayed him as a bully so I didn’t care for him. In the books he def hits different. :‘V

I mean, he’s still a “bully” in the sense that he messes with Harry, but he’s not actually bullying Harry. He picks on Harry, in the same way you’d mess with your crush, and Harry can more than hold his own. Harry even scares him:

“Missing your half-breed pal?” he kept whispering to Harry whenever there was a teacher around, so that he was safe from Harry’s retaliation.

So… he was scared but so gay, he couldn’t resist becos this is literally the only way he could keep Harry in his life. x’D Imagine being afraid of your crush’s wrath but you just.. can’t help it lol >///<

And literally picking on Harry is the only way he can continue to talk to Harry because after the rejected handshake (and being in different Houses), Draco is too prideful to grovel for friendship. Harry basically condemned their relationship to schoolyard 'enemies’ who will risk their lives again and again for each other. Who’s mutual obsession becomes so obvious that everyone just knows that they look out for each other, despite outwardly acting like they hate each other. When other characters can see it, you know it’s real.

Despite being schoolyard 'enemies’, Harry absolutely falls for Draco so hard. Harry can’t ever stop staring at Draco no matter what Draco is doing (whether he’s acting suspiciously or just eating his lunch), and Draco likewise cannot stop watching him. Draco can’t stop talking about Harry either, in the same way when you have a crush, you can’t stop talking about that person. When i have a crush, i am talking about them literally nonstop. Every little thing your crush does is absolutely fascinating. That is Draco with Harry. Draco’s dad had to tell him to shut up about Harry LMAO. Draco not realizing how obvious he is being:

“… everyone thinks he’s so smart, wonderful Potter with his scar and his broomstick — ”

“You have told me this at least a dozen times already,” said Mr. Malfoy, with a quelling look at his son.

Like, bruh, just pls STFU XD it’s no wonder Voldemort became suspicious of his feelings for Harry:

And of course how Narcissa just assumed that Harry, a kid who she must’ve known wasn’t exactly friends with her son (them being on opposite sides of the war) would know or care to take notes about the whereabouts of her son in the middle of a goddamn war:

And of course she was right. Harry did know. In fact, both of them had just finished saving each others’ lives.

Harry saved the life of a Death Eater. In the middle of the war. Against Voldemort.

At a time when the less Death Eaters there were, the better. Even Ron had thought Harry was being ludicrous for going back in the fiendfyre that Draco’s friend started in an attempt to kill them:

“It’s — too — dangerous — !” Ron yelled, but Harry wheeled in the air. “IF WE DIE FOR THEM, I’LL KILL YOU, HARRY!” roared Ron’s voice.

Harry risked his FRIENDS’ LIVES.

For Draco.

Draco, who had at this point, openly admitted to being a Death Eater. Draco, his supposed sworn enemy in school and outside of it.

Harry could care less about Goyle or Blaise, he was all about saving Draco. Harry didn’t even notice that Crabbe was long gone at this point LOL.

And right before the fire, Draco did the same for him. After Draco confronted Harry instead of surprise attacking him (knowing full well that Harry is too formidable in an open confrontation), Draco refused to let his friends hurt him as Crabbe was about to unleash a non-killing hex:

STOP!” Malfoy shouted at Crabbe, his voice echoing through the enormous room. “The Dark Lord wants him alive —” “So? I’m not killing him, am I?”

And then: “Don’t kill him! DON’T KILL HIM!” Malfoy yelled…

Draco NEVER yells. Ever. He is always so calm and collected (when he’s not obsessing over Harry). So this is honestly incredible to me that he is yelling….. He is straight-up panicking because his friends might hurt Harry.

And then of course in Malfoy Manor, even at great risk to himself and his family, he doesn’t reveal Harry’s identity. When asked if Harry was in fact Harry Potter:

“I don’t know,” he said…

Although he has no problem giving away Hermione or Ron’s identity.

Look, Draco, isn’t it the Granger girl?” “I … maybe … yeah.” “But then, that’s the Weasley boy!” shouted Lucius, striding around the bound prisoners to face Ron. “It’s them, Potter’s friends — Draco, look at him, isn’t it Arthur Weasley’s son, what’s his name — ?” “Yeah,” said Draco again, his back to the prisoners. “It could be.”

Draco had never been just another Death Eater to Harry. Draco was someone Harry had grown to fall slowly in love with over the years, despite their animosity. And Draco, for his sake, had fallen so hard for Harry, THE sworn enemy of Voldemort.

In the books, he and Harry are obviously hopelessly in love with each other. Countless passages showcase their obsession, including Harry’s constant thinking about Draco’s looks, like his eyes or his hair, or his smirks (Draco’s version of winking). Harry doesn’t think about anyone’s eyes as often as he does Draco’s (Ginny’s eyes we only know are brown.. What shade? idk, DRACO’S EYES HOWEVER). He knows Draco so well, which is shocking because they’re not even friends or in the same House. He knows Draco better than he knows all of his actual friends, except for Ron & Hermione.

He can read Draco so well, even though Draco is a pro at Occlumency because he had learned from a young age to shut down his emotions and present a cold, strong exterior. This again, goes back to his pridefulness due to his rough upbringing under Lucius. But Harry can see through that. And Harry is likely one of the very few that can. (On a side note, Tom Felton said that if Draco had been raised by Hagrid, he would’ve turned out much differently, even been perhaps a hugger. lol.)

Draco’s obsession, then, is even more incredible when you consider that he is actually really good at hiding how he feels. But with Harry, he just cannot for the life of him, hide it. You can’t help who you love, after all. Despite Draco’s obsession being more obvious because he’s just so damn aggressive with it, Harry’s tiny, shy expressions are utterly endearing…. like that time Draco was in the middle of an OWL exam and Harry merely *walked into the room*:

Harry distinctly saw Malfoy throw a scathing look over at him; the wine glass Malfoy had been levitating fell to the floor and smashed. Harry could not suppress a grin.

How adorable is that?!?!?! (from BOTH of them!!!! you’re really telling me that Draco went from getting an O to an E grade in his Levitation portion of the exam just becos of Harry lol. and Harry’s tiny little shy smiles aweee) *squeals* and what’s more:

Malfoy elbowed past Hermione to block Harry’s way up the stone steps to the castle, his face gleeful and his pale eyes glinting maliciously.

“Shove off, Malfoy,” said Ron, whose jaw was clenched.

Harry just stayed quiet. How gay is this scene? Like, a guy who’s blocking your path is a total romance movie trope LOL. I’m just imagining Harry standing there blushing. >///< Ron is often a cockblock, ngl (more on that in my analysis of DH). Harry’s personality in the books is pretty outgoing, and he most definitely has a temper too, towards others. But when it comes to Draco, it’s Ron that gets overly aggressive, even when Draco isn’t messing with Ron. In fact, often when anyone talks badly about Draco, Harry doesn’t. He does talk non-stop shit about Umbridge, Snape, or Rita Skeeter, but not Draco lol……. He hates Snape too, and often compares Snape and Draco, as he thinks about how he hates Snape far more than Draco lol.

Snape had emerged from the staircase leading down to his office, and at the sight of him Harry felt a great rush of hatred beyond anything he felt toward Malfoy…

Even though Draco messes with him far more than Snape does. He loves the attention he gets from Draco, so much so that once Draco has his own shit to deal with in HBP and stops messing with him as much, Harry takes to literally *STALKING* him with a magical map all around the school………….

Despite his determination to catch Malfoy out, Harry had no luck at all over the next couple of weeks. Although he consulted the map as often as he could, sometimes making unnecessary visits to the bathroom between lessons to search it, he did not once see Malfoy anywhere suspicious.

Lmao. Remember, at this point, he still had no concrete evidence Draco was doing anything sus. None of his closest friends who had both been witnesses to Draco’s supposedly sus activities agreed it was anything worth worrying over. But nope, Harry can’t drop it. It’s to the point where even Arthur Weasley knows about his crush……

“I think you missed something,” said Harry stubbornly.

‘Well, maybe,’ said Mr Weasley, but Harry could tell that Mr Weasley was humouring him.

lmaooooo. Arthur’s reaction to his baseless accusations towards Draco was hilarious. x’D It’s truly fascinating how the adults around them just know. Both Draco’s parents and Voldemort, just as Arthur knows for Harry.

The story of Harry and Draco is an accidental horribly tragic love story for both repressed gay boys who are too afraid to actually admit how they feel. :( Their untold love is truly the epic forbidden love story of the entire goddamn series. It had the best most perfect build-up and chemistry, and JKR just like, totally overlooked that due to her irrational dislike of Draco Malfoy for some reason. 😮‍💨

“Why is Percy your favourite Weasley?” you'll never see him catcalling girls or pick on younger students. Ron's misconception about Percy doesn't piss me off because obviously that adds depth but it's just kind of sad here, you know? Because Percy does care about his siblings. Ron the most imo, because he had no hesitation into jumping in the cold ass black lake for Ron. I don't think he'd do that for any other sibling. And holy shit he didn't have a reason to, Fleur was worried but she was shouting on the riverbank. But no, Percy, who's a judge and can't show favouritism (and on normal occasions will not) and KNOWS that his brother would be safe cause he helped organise this whole thing, jumps into the lake and grabs a hold of his brother.

He's a really caring person and his strong sense of truth (atleast what he thought was) made him make a bad decision. He said some awful things but in the end he did apologise and owned up to his mistakes, so, the Percy hate makes no sense to me.

LMAO ME TOO. I actually headcanon that Sev was quite fond of the Weasley family.

Bill was a smart student, who, according to Ginny, didn’t like Snape. But I doubt Snape cared about what the students thought of him, I think he just cared if they did well in his class or not. Given that Bill was a prefect + Head-Boy and got 12 O.W.L.s, he definitely didn’t get in trouble that much and was a clever student, so Snape probably tolerated him.

We don’t know much about Charlie but based on Hogwarts Mystery he low-key likes Snape, so I think they were alright.

I personally headcanon that Percy L O V E S Snape and admires everything he does, he definitely criticises his siblings (*cough* Ron) whenever they say anything bad about him.

Fred and George seem to be amused by him despite thinking he’s a git (though I doubt they took anything he said seriously) and I think they had natural talent in potions. Snape definitely values experimental projects and creativity (considering his spell creations and rewriting his potions book), which the twins have, so despite their troublemaking antics I’m sure he at the very least respected their creativity (this is a headcanon I’ve had for such a long time, I’m so happy I can finally talk about it lmao).

I think Severus mostly disliked Ron because of his association with Harry, his disregard for school rules, and his laziness in class, but I think out of the trio he tolerated Ron the most (they’re also both my fave characters in the series so I just like the thought of them being cool with each other lmao).

As for Ginny, I don’t think he hated her, but he found her mildly annoying because of her obvious crush on Harry in CoS and then in the later books when she came out of her shell. She didn’t complain about him much, the closest thing we get is her saying that “Bill doesn’t like him either” as a reason for not liking him. Plus I always thought Ginny would’ve made a good Slytherin and wasn’t super annoying in class so I think he at least preferred her to Hermione lmao.

I think Snape was okay with Molly (and I think she respected him as a teacher, she liked him enough to correct Harry for calling him “Snape” instead of “Professor Snape”), but I think he probably didn’t respect Arthur’s love of Muggles and thought he was a bit silly, and I think he liked him less than Molly due to Lucius’s influence lmfao.

okay so i think ron 100% tells the twins straight away, just like ginny had with him and lavender, and they’re ofc thrilled. they definitely would’ve given harry shit and teased ginny about her life long crush returning her affections lmao - but given that they were broken up by the time they saw the twins again, i think fred and george were more sensitive about it. they hated how down ginny was after the breakup, and treaded lightly with their teasing during that time. i think george would’ve resumed the teasing a few years after the war, when he was in a slightly better place mentally. but he loved harry like a brother, and knew how happy he made ginny and vice versa. and he knew fred felt the exact same way :’)

i feel like percy wouldn’t have known anything about harry and ginny dating, but he would’ve been very business like in his approval of their coupling. saying ‘so pleased to have you as part of the family, harry’ in his pompous but still warm manner. he definitely felt mostly guilty about the way he had treated harry (and his family, but in terms of politics, he really did throw harry to the dogs) and is overly polite in his company, to try and make up for his past behaviour. he thinks they’re well matched if a little chaotic.

i LOVE the headcanon that bill literally assumed harry and ginny were already together during the christmas break in harry’s sixth year. he noticed the way harry’s eyes lit up whenever she spoke, caught him staring at her several times, ginny’s playful (but totally platonic…) teasing and touching of harry. she bullied the boy into helping her make all the paper chains, like bill definitely thought this boy is WHIPPED. and when he asks ron and ron’s all WHAT no they are NOT dating are you CRAZY bill’s like wtf ok. so he’s not at all surprised when he finds out that they did in fact get together. obviously bill approves, knowing how deeply and unabashedly they love each other, he thinks it will last.

charlie found out around the same time bill did, and he was happy for them. but didn’t really have an opinion either way, because he was often still in romania or other parts of europe working. he thinks harry‘a a good lad tho, and knows he’s basically part of the family anyway so it works out pretty nicely

now with ron, we see a lot of his reaction in the books anyway, but i 100% think ron was supportive of the relationship, i mean he literally tells ginny she should choose someone better next time and nods at harry??? like he may have been protective but he ultimately knew harry was a good guy, and that if he could trust anyone to take care of his sister and be a good partner for her, it would be him. i also think contrary to other peoples’ opinions, he isn’t like jealous nor does he feel like he’s been replaced by ginny in harry’s life. they’re BESTFRIENDS. nothing is ever going to change that - he knows this. and you can bet he was not at all unhappy about the newfound alone time he was getting with hermione :)) he was their biggest supporter (maybe second biggest - behind hermione ofc). and despite the initial shock of the common room kiss, i think he’s very much, yeah i called it years ago, it was bound to happen. and now i have another brother!!! it’s so so wholesome. and you just know ginny, ron and harry get on as a trio anyway. two of his favourite ppl together, ofc he’s happy.

now arthur and molly!!!!!! i wish we got to see more of their reactions tbh. i think arthur, like bill, probably thought they were already together during that christmas break, but never mentioned it to anyone except molly. who dismissed it at first, saying ginny got over her little crush ages ago, but she keeps a close eye on them after that, and definitely starts to see what arthur’s seeing. when ginny writes home telling them that her and harry are in fact seeing each other, molly weeps tears of pure delight. he’s basically a son to her anyway, and she couldn’t be more pleased that they’ve found happiness together. but she definitely is a bit nervous about how close now TWO of her children are to harry bc he’s a target, and bc he always lands himself in sticky situations (she doesn’t blame him ofc) but she worries non stop because he is so brave, selfless and stubborn and so are her children, and she’s well aware that they all seem to encourage each other’s somewhat reckless impulses (see, ron and harry flying a car to hogwarts, all three rushing to the ministry as a bunch of teens to fight death eaters etc). after the war, she is just happy for them tho. and despite being initially strict about hermione and ginny staying in their room, and ron and harry staying in theirs, she definitely starts to look the other way, when she spots harry creeping down the hallway in the early hours of the morning to sneak into her daughter’s room. he freezes when he sees her, clamming up, incredibly embarrassed, but she merely smiles and nods in the direction of the ginny’s room as if to say, well, go on then, because she too knows what it is to struggle through many a sleepless night worrying about loved ones, suffering trauma and loss, and needing to be close to the one you love the most. and arthur feels the same way. and he’s thrilled that now he’ll have even more opportunities to badger harry about how washing machines work, and why muggles dress up as witches and monsters on halloween.

what can i say, harry and ginny are a very, very loved couple. by the weasley family, and a lot of others too. they’re just too precious.

Some of my general thoughts on CK season 6 part 3

Ralph and Billy's tearful scenes with 'Miyagi' and Kreese were phenomenal. They're such great actors 10/10.

I have a lot to say about Johnny's scene with Kreese but just to keep things short, I'll talk about that another time. But wow wow wow. Dominique Swain applauds.

Daniel's nonstop anxiety about his family getting hurt :/ least he had fun getting tipsy with his wife. Amanda looked gorgeous with that new hair (though she always does.) He really tapped into offense side this season. Looove how he knew exactly what to say to make Silver blank-face and leave lmao.

I'm SOOOO never getting over 'You're alright, Lawrence!' and lawrusso recreating the nose swipe scene with Daniel acting as Kreese for Johnny to inspire him. Johnny was MUCH enjoying that.

Daniel basically buying Johnny his building back?😭 AGHHHH. 'I believe in you'....

Tory being dressed in the same gi as young Johnny, and Robby being dressed in the Miyagi Do gi with a hurt leg—paralleling Daniel—in combination with those scenes being where they get back together makes me insane. Like, lawrusso in another universe.

I feel Robby could have gotten a more smoothed out and rewarding end but at the same time, I'm glad he's happy and taken care of now. Angel.

Sam and Tory's scenes together were so heartwarming. Especially the scene of Tory getting emotional over the LaRusso's kindness and generosity to her. Finally getting some one on one with Daniel and Johnny.

When Sam brought up having something to tell Daniel but being worried he'd be disappointed in her, my mind instantly went to a coming out scene tbh.

The montage of binary boyfriends and samtory as Bobby's reading the vows? What are you trying to say???

Bobby and Johnny meeting up again <333 Bobby still gives him that special 'I would actually do for you' stare (whether platonic or not) and I squeal about it. I love that Ron got some time to shine<333 I thought Jimmy would appear, but he sadly did not.

I also thought Anoush was gay but I was obviously mistaken since he was kissing Ralph's daughter (Julia's performance was hilarious.)

Silver speeding away with Johnny in that car was crazyyy. Billy had yet another Scott (not the werewolf) Mccall moment except he didn't get locked in a tower this time. You would've thought the employees would have seen Silver in the papers months ago and called the cops.

His envy over Daniel and Johnny having things to live for and people that actually love them was sad—especially with him being ill. If you think about it, Kreese was all he had besides the money, and when he didn't have Kreese the only way he had anyone around him was pretending to be someone else.

His jealousy over Kreese's love for Johnny really shined through as well with that 'I don't know why you messed up what I was doing with Kreese' (paraphrasing) and the way he called Kreese pathetic for groveling to Johnny no matter how many times he rejected him. Silver felt that he himself was pathetic for having always crawled back to Kreese no matter the rejection he faced.

Also the fucking grenade boat explosion scene??? INSANE???? Literally died in each other's arms. I know many people have problems with it but I don't see what else they really could have done for the two villains with endless crimes (which I love about them alright) that wouldn't be worse.

Think about how Silver probably thought he'd die alone, but didn't. When I realized Kreese was set on offing himself and taking Silver with him the whole time, and that was the reason he spent most of his scenes apologizing to the last few people he loved...

Would like to know more about what happened to Wolf. His bitchiness almost rivaled Johnny's, and damn did he eat up every scene he was in. Just a great character.

Considering everything wrong with the baby plot, I at least liked how they did end up choosing to show it. Johnny going full girl dad and being so sweet and coddling to the baby + Miguel and Robby made my heart SOAR. He's always been tender with them but the writers never really did let him to just relax and love. He deserves to be happy, like every imperfect victim irl and in fiction who gets bashed for not meeting people's standards does.

In Beasts the idea of Harry buying all of these items for the house he would live in with Ginny is on one hand super sweet because it shows he takes the relationship seriously and on the other hand super irritating because why does he assume he gets to choose all that shit himself without even asking Ginny or without even asking her if she wants to move in?? It's the fact that Harry is making decisions for them by himself and assuming she'd be cool with it. I don't like that tbh. It's like when Harry realizes he has feelings for her in HBP and instead of wondering if she's moved on or if she would even still like him, he worries instead about Ron's reaction. ????? I lowkey feel like Harry should have felt really miserable that Ginny had moved on and liked Dean more than him. But it's like he is arrogant about her feelings for him or something. He doesn't even question it. I can't decide if that's cute or annoying lmao. Like I am not sure if this is Harry truly understanding Ginny and knowing her tastes ("Yes she'd love these egg cups!" "Dean doesn't make her laugh like that! She must still like me we get on so well!") or if its just Harry being a self-absorbed dumbass (SHOULDN'T HE THINK ABOUT HER FEELINGS IN BOTH SITUATIONS!!!!). Like I am over here as a staunch Hinny shipper thinking... "What if Ginny wanted different egg cups, Harry?!" Now she has to pretend she likes your ugly egg cups because if she wants different egg cups it might cause a fight cuz you'd act like a little bitch about it? Am I thinking about this too much?? TL:DR can Harry be normal about something for two seconds or is that not possible. I want Ginny to have a wonderful, caring boyfriend that thinks about WHAT SHE WANTS.

ahh i see where you’re coming from, anon, but i will defend harry and his egg cups a bit here.

there’s no denying that harry is a bit selfish in his relationship and asks of ginny in canon. there’s arguably some necessity to this - the plot demands it - and it reflects something of who harry is and the coping/survival mechanisms he’s developed by the series end. it’s the reason i’ve written his arc in beasts as him having to face up to what he’s asked of ginny, as he discusses this in his letter to her in the next chapter. his arc is him grappling with a loss of identity after the war, trying to look towards building a future he never thought he’d have, and finding out that a big part of that is learning to be on a team with ginny after a long time demonstrating some understandable, but not excusable trauma response behaviours where he hasn’t always treated her as an equal.

which is where the egg cups come in. they (and other assorted crockery) represent harry, at a particular lost moment after the war unclear what he’s for, trying to self soothe by imagining the familial domestic stability he has always craved and buying a little token of that aspiration he can have by him to keep him going. it’s supposed to be a sad sweet (slightly pathetic) image. but there’s no malice in it, just a very lost lad who has gone through a lot doing his best to try and have things to look forward to that might make him happy, like having some dippy eggs and toast with our girl.

i will also reassure you that, should ginny dislike the egg cups, i have no doubt that hjp would bend over backwards/drop serious galleons to source her the egg cups of her dreams.

As a Romione, Harmony, and Rarry shipper (but most importantly, just a Golden Trio lover in general), can I just say that Ron haters always have the dumbest reasons for hating him. It’s either they’re still hung up on something he said or did when he was literally a kid (which it’s understandable to dislike his actions back then, but clinging to it is absolutely just stupid), or they hate him because he’s just “not smart or hot enough” for Hermione, which is incredibly weird. Being a hot genius ≠ a good partner, and thinking Hermione, out of all people, wants some “equally” intelligent individual or cares for such a thing proves to me that they truly do not understand Hermione or her character at all. She does not care for all that, that is very clearly just them projecting. All in all, when it came down to it, Ron was loyal, brave, and actually grew up!! Ppl choose to ignore that because it just doesn’t fit their aesthetic ship fantasy (especially their “big bad alpha rich pureblood falling for the oh-so-sad little but feisty muggleborn, forbidden love, love story”), lmao. Ron and Hermione obviously had their ups and downs, but that is just about every relationship. They’re not perfect, and that is perfectly fine and normal because no one or relationship is. Heyya! First of all, I’m a BIG fan of CC! I’ve been reading each update instantly—it’s got me in a chokehold. I love it so much that I can’t even bring myself to read the last chapter.

Now, into My favoritism rant (long rabt ahead super sorry) :

1. Mikey is Donnie’s favorite, and I will die on this hill.

Proof? THE WHOLE SHOW + MOVIE. HELLO?? No further explanation needed.

2. Leo being Donnie’s favorite was always a given to me.

Seriously, he talks about him the most—even if it's just to joke at his expense. whole episode dedicated to getting apology pizza for him and even defended his honor (lol). Plus, it’s canon that Donnie isn’t Mikey’s or Raph’s favorite, so of course it makes perfect sense that he’s Leo’s.

But Leo being Donnie’s favorite?? No way.

I know Ron tweeted about it, BUT Andy also said Mikey is everyone’s favorite in response. So I’m taking this as half-canon, OKAY? Let a girl dream! (Also, I hope I didn’t hallucinate that tweet/thread lol.)

3. My personal headcanon: their favorites aren’t set in stone.

Like, imagine them changing favorites depending on who does them favors or using it as a threat—"Do this for me, and you’ll be my favorite for the month!" I just can’t see the Sunset Duo (or just Raph) playing favourites especially given how affectionately distant their father was.

UR SPITTIN',,,, i see it the other way around with the twins but i see where youre coming from!! with me seeing leo's favorite as raph i just think its because there's a lot more moments where the depths of leo's affection for him is shown. he looks up to him, he knows him well, he freaks out when they get separated from him, he does openly repeatedly worry about him and take initiative to jump in for the sake of his feelings more than once. with donnie most of the time the way leo acts is either more begrudging or joking, mostly joking. it's a mutual part of their relationship that they act like the other is an easy target for jabbing at bahghshg. meanwhile with donnie idk,,, its mostly a vibe-based thing but donnie does come off like he looks up to leo more than he'd like to admit. i definitely subscribe to the belief that he imitates his behavior teehee

also with raph, he would play favorites but he would REFUSE to admit it out loud. he'd definitely go on about he loves them equally but they would all know he means mikey is his favorite. mikey would know that he's his favorite and he'd use it for evil. this wouldnt be upsetting to anyone it would just be fact LMAO, they'd roll their eyes at his refusal to admit it. feels like the kind of joke that actually would be in the show

and mikey would say "youre my favorite brother now" to whoever does something nice for him in the moment. he probably got the habit from leo though. they'd both do that

although i do definitely agree that the whole "favorite sibling" thing is not something i'd want to keep set in stone because i dont want to box in their relationships in the way the other people do, i think all of them have something special and interesting with each other and annoys the shit out of me when people shine all this light on the disaster twins and act like they only care about each other LOL

Deuce ♠️ - Harry Potter. I can’t connect many similarities between them, but at the same time I can. They’re both boys who love their parents and just try to do the best in what they can, especially since both have been given a second chance to succeed in this magical world. Now, Deuce isn’t perfect but he is trying and is not overtly prone to breaking the rules. He’s sweet, innocent, while still having bite to his bark. A bit clueless at times but with good intentions.

Ace ❤️- Ok now this asshole is perfect for Ron (I’m joking). But honestly his more outlandish personality does have some comparison towards Ron’s sarcastic personality. He’s more on the laid back side whilst still being a valuable friend. (Also they’re both ginger lmao) Plus his relationship with Yuu is more on the chill play fighting side, anyways…

Yuu 🦐 - Hermione, this one can be taken lightly depending on how your version of Yuu is but one thing is for sure: they always get Ace and Deuce out of overblot situations and manage to use some sort of semblance of a brain to figure shit out. However, in my AU let’s say that Yuu too is trying to make a life for themselves by working hard and doing the most they can of their schoolwork. Yuu also being the glue that holds these two idiots together. And honestly her whole schtick as the school therapist now makes sense

Grim 🐱 - Crookshanks. Nothing more to say, just Yuu’s stupid cat (with love)

Also the whole racist thing with Hermione and Yuu could have a connection, since Yuu basically has no magical abilities, yet are able to attend this magical school and work their way up. And because of this, there may be students opposed to Yuu’s magiclessness (mudblood—)

Malleus 🐉- Victor Krum, this is slightly stretching it a bit but I can see these two sharing similarities. Malleus and Krum are both exemplary at their respective wizarding sport (Spelldrive, and Quidditch) and are known to be prodigies of it. They don’t have many friends due to being viewed as Gods, Celebrities, etc. in some way and therefore are quite lonely. Attracted to this specific person for not fawning over them and for seeing who they really are, and are able to appreciate their brains for what it’s worth 💚💚

Yup, exactly! And trust, there is no way Harry puts anybody before Ginny. It is very clear in the books that she is the most important person to him. In HBP when Ron is hanging out with them Harry wants Ron to go away and leave them alone. In DH he is with R/Hr 24/7 and pines for Ginny and yearns to talk to Ginny.

I guarantee when GINNY is by his side he is never pining for Ron or Hermione's presence lmao. Ginny is his favorite, it's clear.

The only reason she doesn't know anything about the horcruxes or the prophecy is because Harry wasn't allowed to tell anyone else. It was legit part of the plot that he couldn't tell anyone else and its brought up over and over in the last book. He says he's not allowed to tell anyone else. Dumbledore's orders!

Ron!stans just don't want to admit it because they want to live inside Ron's ass. Also, Ron!stans think Ron favors Harry over Ginny when that isn't true either. It's actually very clear in the last two books how much Ron loves and cares for Ginny. Ron turns on Harry and gets angry at him for exactly TWO people: Hermione and Ginny. Both are more important to him than Harry (but he still loves Harry).

ALSO - Ron never lets anyone disrespect or insult Hermione....except Ginny lol.

In HBP Ginny calls out Hermione and makes fun of her for not understanding Quidditch and Ron is right there and says nothing. THAT is so telling to me. If ANYONE else insulted Hermione (and Harry even comments that Hermione looked hurt and stung), Ron would have shouted them down or hexed them. Ginny insulted Hermione in front of Ron and Ron was totally quiet lmao. That is the only time in the books Hermione gets insulted and Ron is quiet! That shows so much loyalty to Ginny! Because at the end of the day? If his sibling fights with someone else, he is not going to get in the middle. EVEN IF THEY FIGHT WITH HERMIONE.

TL:DR Ron and Harry both care about Ginny more than they care about each other. Hermione is the love of Ron's life yes, but his sister is still very important to him and Ron shows loyalty to Ginny even when she fights with Hermione.

I absolutely agree some ron stans are so annoying esp. on quora. I know hermione had flaws (and Ginny too)but some people just put all the blame on Girls and Harry and behave like ron can never do anything wrong.

Ron is very relatable flawed character( that's why i love him) rather than acknowledging it, they just like to pretend he is perfect. And they can't understand a simple fact siblings can be jerk to each other, it does not mean they hate one another.

The way some fic writers writes "after war" stories is just weird like not acknowledging Ginny's trauma and her role in war.

Ginny running after harry and harry just ignoring her and only hanging out with ron and Hermione. Harry ignoring and treating ginny like a shit is justified because "he is been through alot" and ginny is selfish for demanding anything from harry.

If ginny ever complains her whole family will tell her to stop being childish. Also, molly who has just lost her son will be back and call of harry after the war.

Harry is my favorite character in the series but still isn't this too much?

I'm a Withy with glasses truther

I like to imagine he becomes stronger as the story progresses but his body never reflects it. He's forever stuck looking like a twig (Or a skeleton C:)

His skin and clothes (Even tho you can't see it very well due to the cloak) look like they are always packed with mud. You can thank Steve for that one.

Instead of building The Cube, I imagine he probably tried to build some sort of castle to use as a base. Its quality is debatable.

He started his adventure after he left his village out of a belief that "they were holding him back from his true potential"

He's convinced he's destined for greatness (He's not)

Very active, to Steve's dismay

(While I'm at him, I'm going to mention Steve's deal in the Au too. Sorry I don't have an image but I'm still working on a drawing)

Steve is a demon here. I'm not sure if his realm will really be the Nether like it is to Withy in canon but eh, maybe he owns the Soul Sand Valleys.

He's VERY lazy, even more than canon. He's got overwhelming power so not a lot of people can force him to do anything.

His body is made out of mud and sand and earthly materials. He can turn liquid at will and will do so when he feels like relaxing.

Despite what you would expect, he's surprisingly easy to entertain. Sadly, Withy is not really up to performing any of the tasks Steve likes to spectate as he thinks they're lame.

Steve's capable of jumping from one entity to another, essentially hitching rides on their bodies. (Still stripping innocent animals out of their free will lmao) That's very likely how Withy got him stuck inside his; Withy was trying to kill something that just so happened to be Steve's unwilling host so he just jumped ship unto his body.

Maybe it turns out that Steve's always been able to leave? (Unlike Alex) But just doesn't bc unlike his previous hosts, this one actually does a really good job fending off threats so he doesn't have to invest much energy into keeping the body alive.

Withy is APPALLED when he finds out but refuses to let himself die just to get rid of Steve

Steve's hosts gain dirty and unkempt appearances from his presence which Withy HATES bc how could someone on His level be forced to look like this???

I can't remember who said Endy would be poc but you're so right

She would wear so much jewelry no matter how cumbersome it gets

Withy's only friend back in the village and upon hearing about his plans of leaving, decides to leave with him

She doesn't really think that he'll make it big like he says he will but hey, she's got nothing better to do and if he somehow does, she can brag that she was alongside him the entire journey!

Responsible for Withy's hair having braids in it sometimes (His hair texture doesn't really allow it but she will try)

Leaves to do tasks so she doesn't have to deal with the weirdo that followed them (When did he even arrive?)

Jeb isn't really seen by his 2 siblings very often but they are usually close to where he is.

Followed Endy and Withy when they embarked on their adventure

Plays the banjo

Will pick up critters like frogs or dogs when he sees them

Not allowed to be on his own anymore after the last time when he was left alone for a few hours and came with a child

He claims to not have noticed the kid was there until Endy pointed him out

Nobody really wants to take care of the kid so he's the one who usually keeps him out of trouble

And Endy has to keep watch over them too, as they'll get in worse trouble if she doesn't

Ron's like 8 in this Au? At least that's how I picture him but nobody really knows. Not even him

Just kinda appeared one day. Will just answer "I dunno" when asked where he came from

Doesn't have many clothes so Jeb usually lends him some. You can see him running around in oversized jackets due to this

Gets lost easily and someone usually has to go fetch him from where he wandered off

No matter how hard the group might try to keep him clean, he'll always have leaves and flowers on him. Usually they'll be on his hair

Despite his size, he's surprisingly tough. He's pretty strong too for his age, in a bit of scary way if you were to ask the group

Will get very quiet if you ask about his scars. He doesn't like to talk about where he got them.

(They were from a failed ritual by Hero. After losing most of his power on a battle, he was trying to find a body to possess and take revenge with. He missed an ingredient tho, so now he's stuck in the back seat of Ron's mind. Upon noticing Steve and Alex's presence on Withy's head, he convinced Ron to stay with the group to try and find a good opportunity to steal power from them.)

Hero insists Ron doesn't bring him up to the others, which Ron manages for the most part.

I imagine their dynamic to be sort of like this vine

Hero used to be a fire/lava entity but upon losing his power, became a smoke/ghost-like entity instead. He had to find a host to not dissapear entirely.

I'm just realizing I completely neglected to mention Alex (I'M SORRY GIRL) so here's what I've got

She's definitely a beast type of monster. Imagine like a lion type of thing but bigger and stronger.

She probably used to live in the jungle and terrorize whatever villages made the mistake of settling too close to her territory.

Maybe she hates Steve for his interfering with one of her hunts? Maybe one of his hosts was passing by and managed to act as a distraction for her prey to escape

Or maybe he somehow killed her grandfather in this Au too

Who knows

She ends up in Withy's head after he kills her as part of his self-imposed quest. She will incite him to get into bigger and more dangerous situations

I've seen your post about Ron's positive/underrated traits, one of them being kindness and how if he was a girl, he would be characterised as a caretaker. However, that trait is overlooked by most of the fandom. Do you think the fact that Ron is a boy has something to do with it (since kindness and being caring are generally considered "feminine" virtues and men with "feminine" traits are either overlooked or looked down upon)? If he was a girl, would his love and devotion be appreciated more?

Its a mix. Mostly they are being ignored bcz people don't remember them. Why? Bcz they watch movies/read out of character fanfics more than they read books.

Ron helps Harry to put his pajama on in COS.

Ron wants to make Hagrid tea when Hagrid is upset bcz that's what his mom does.

Ron forces Hermione to eat a decent meal when she is ignoring her dinner for study.

Ron cuts bacons and puts them on Harry's plate when he is hurting from Umbridge's scar.

Now. People don't remember them. Partly bcz they don't read books. Partly bcz they DON'T want to like him. They focus on what they want to see and exaggerate those ten times. They only remember how much abusive he is to Hermione and how he 'betrayed' Harry.

It's same with Ron and Hermione. Its always 'oH hOw mUcH tHeY fIgHt' but never how many times Ron jumps into her defence, how much times she spends time with Ron without Harry, how Hermione apologises to him, him apologises to her, how Hermione stands up against twins for him, how she kisses on his cheek to distract him from the song Malfoy wrote, how she is absolutely devastated when he isn't with her in DH. (They do focus on that scene though. Very much. Just in a different way. They use it to say he 'abandoned' them) how much happy she is when He isn't with lavender anymore, how many times he consoles her effortlessly, how many times he calls her amazing and brillaint. Etc etc

People don't want to love Ron. Bcz

1. He is red head, poor, comes from a working class family, wears hand me down stuff. West romanticizes/sympathizes with the rich. Not with the poor. There's HEAVY classism in the Harry Potter fandom.

2. Most Men see themselves as Harry. Most Women see themselves as Hermione. And they don't exactly want friends of Harry. They want followers. Who would bindly worship and follow him. They want someone who would worship the ground Hermione walks on. Needless to say Ron doesn't do either of those two things. Lmao

3. Women want to bang whatever character they personally fancy and use Hermione as a SI blank slate. So they cant digest Ron as he 'comes in the way' of their fap material fanfics.

4. Ron doesn't have anyone defending him. Whenever Hermione messes up, Hagrid, Luna, the narrative are there to defend her. Heck even Harry defends her once in HBP. When Harry messes up he has the abused orphan card. Plus narrative support and Hermione. Whenever Ron messes up who is there to defend him? If anything narrative doubles down to bash him.

5. Ron's flaws hit home much harder than Harry or Hermione's. Each and everyone atleast once feels jealousy, envy, insecurities in their life. But if you are white, will you understand Malfoy's racism? Or if you aren't an orphan can you understand Harry being self centred? These are superficial flaws. Ron's are REAL flaws. Peoole don't want to be reminded of their flaws.

Ron gets very much injustice from this fandom. People don't value him. Forget about treating him as 1/3rd of the main characters, they don't even give him the minimum respect. Ron's EVERY positive thing is underrated. Each and every. Not only kindness. His flaws are exaggerated, he is bashed, ridiculed, maligned, annihilated. Fandom Ron is an OC. just like fandom Malfoy is an OC.

If he was a girl he would have got Ginny treatment. Ginny gets maligned for coming in the way of Harry ships. Ron would have been treated the same way.

What was Dante's reaction the first time he saw Panam with her hair down, if he had any? Does he ever help her with her hair, especially while on the road?

I'm assuming that when Woljif met Relly, neither of them looked their best since Kenabres was in the middle of a demon invasion. When did Woljif first get to see Relly with all their accessories/makeup/hair/etc done? Did it influence his decision to get closer to the chief?

Dante never has moments of "falling more in love" with Panam because he falls pretty darn hard already, but he always stumbles on new ways of being so in love with her it hurts. Seeing her with her hair down was one of them for sure!

I was actually just chatting Lore/HCs with @pinkyjulien and thinking about how Mitch likely learned how to care for Panam's hair type to help her on the road (and have dad/daughter bonding), and I 100% think one of the first things Dante does is to ask Mitch to teach him. He typically tries to help her with protective hairstyles while they're on the road to make sure her coils are safe from Badlands hazard, but he also does his best to aid stylizing it whenever she wants (with her guidance, ofc!)

Relly actually showed up all pretty and prepped the first time they camped out in an abandoned house in Kenabres. Rellihn isn't particularly fussy about much, but they like the lipstick and hair to be in place (even if covered in blood lmao). Woljif definitely gets infatuated with it but initially covers it up to himself as just seeing an excuse/opportunity to take advantage of Rellihn, believing someone vain like this would be an easy target to be manipulated... which is not entirely untrue but eventually Woljif had to admit to himself that seeing the half-elf all prettied up tugged on his attraction a little bit.
