Halk, I have questions!

What was Dante's reaction the first time he saw Panam with her hair down, if he had any? Does he ever help her with her hair, especially while on the road?

I'm assuming that when Woljif met Relly, neither of them looked their best since Kenabres was in the middle of a demon invasion. When did Woljif first get to see Relly with all their accessories/makeup/hair/etc done? Did it influence his decision to get closer to the chief?

Dante never has moments of "falling more in love" with Panam because he falls pretty darn hard already, but he always stumbles on new ways of being so in love with her it hurts. Seeing her with her hair down was one of them for sure!

I was actually just chatting Lore/HCs with @pinkyjulien and thinking about how Mitch likely learned how to care for Panam's hair type to help her on the road (and have dad/daughter bonding), and I 100% think one of the first things Dante does is to ask Mitch to teach him. He typically tries to help her with protective hairstyles while they're on the road to make sure her coils are safe from Badlands hazard, but he also does his best to aid stylizing it whenever she wants (with her guidance, ofc!)

Relly actually showed up all pretty and prepped the first time they camped out in an abandoned house in Kenabres. Rellihn isn't particularly fussy about much, but they like the lipstick and hair to be in place (even if covered in blood lmao). Woljif definitely gets infatuated with it but initially covers it up to himself as just seeing an excuse/opportunity to take advantage of Rellihn, believing someone vain like this would be an easy target to be manipulated... which is not entirely untrue but eventually Woljif had to admit to himself that seeing the half-elf all prettied up tugged on his attraction a little bit.

Thanks for the ask @ronqueesha! From Soft OTP Prompts Been staring at this one off and on since last night. I think I'm finally happy with it, and clocked in at ~360 words. 😅

V scowls at her reflection in the full-length mirror. The shirt collar is too tight; the arms are just a shade too long while the pants are too short, and make her look even taller and her hips wider.

“How’s it going in there?” Rosalind’s voice heralds her arrival from the bedroom, and she glances up in the mirror to find her leaning against the door, arms crossed, a smile spreading across her face as she looks V up and down. “You look fantastic. How do you feel?”

“Like I’m being strangled, and haven’t even put on the tie yet.”

Rosalind approaches, sliding her hands around her waist and pulling tight against her, face nestled on V’s shoulder.

“You don’t have to go, you know. It’s just a state dinner.”

“I know,” she says, her eyes dropping to the tie dangling between her fingers.

“Would you like some assistance with that?”

Scoffing, she shakes then nods her head with a small grin. “Yeah, guess so.”

Rosalind spins her around by her hips and turns up her collar. She takes the tie from V and loops it over her head, pulling each side back and forth along the collar until she’s satisfied, then she begins wrapping the fabric over itself, back and forth, building up a knot. While she works, Rosalind describes the entire process but V is too distracted by the beauty of her face to pay attention to her words—the fine cheekbones, the spray of freckles, the perfect cupid’s bow mouth that smirks as she catches V watching.

She blushes as Rosalind arches a perfect eyebrow. “What?”

“Nothin’. Just you’re beautiful.”

One corner of her mouth turns up and she glances up at V again. “You weren’t listening, were you? Never mind. A lesson for another day.” 

She draws the tie close to V’s neck and turns down the collar, then helps her into the jacket and straightens the tie and lapels. She gestures her head at the mirror, and V turns around.

“You’re extremely dashing yourself.” She blushes but Rosalind’s right—the suit and tie do look good on her. “Now, shall we?”

“After you, Madam President.”

they got yelled at by diamond city security once for messing with takahashi - not for trying to fix his language module but they were trying to see if they could extract the noodle recipe from his memory. they didn't get that far

they used to dabble in writing text adventures. there's probably a few hiding out there still on terminals or holotapes

nightmare: What does your OC have nightmares about? How do they deal with their nightmares? Do they tell people, or keep it to themself?

For tav and kanan

Kanan has nightmares about the Colony War. It's actually how I opened Event Horizon, lol, with one of their nightmares. They don't really deal with them. They just try to push it aside and go on with their day, but sometimes that can be hard when they come into their waking hours in the form of flashbacks. Kanan prefers not to tell anyone about it. They've been on their own for quite some time and haven't had the need to do so, but this changes once them and Sarah become closer, as they share war-induced nightmares and PTSD.

As for Immanuel... he gets all sorts of weird nightmares, I'd imagine mostly vague Illithid fever dreams. He also has nightmares about his past (maybe current? idk yet) curse as a werewolf - getting glimpses of memory from his wolf form. Immanuel keeps quiet about these at first. Of course, he opens up about the Illithid nightmares first, as it is important to the party's mission, and someone in camp probably has the ability to calm the nightmares. The other nightmares, though... Immanuel keeps to himself, though he becomes less and less reluctant to share and talk it through with others after he learns that Astarion is a vampire.

we both love starfield so this is my random topic.

i'm tired of people pushing others to do the new game plus. i see this on reddit all the time.

it's a really cool mechanic but also it kinda gets draining doing it over and over. i feel the novelty of it wears off very fast and the whole thing feels repetitive. people should play at their own pace and not feel like they have to see this super special content if they want to truly play the game. there is no right way to play an open world game. that's the whole point.

For Emet and Azem, initially, it was Azem. They had a fearlessness to their affection which was a large part of what drew Emet to them. As the relationship progressed, however, Emet matched or even surpassed their passion, in the quiet, private moments where they could unmask and be truly themselves, hours where he was not the Esteemed Emet-Selch, but Hades.

You would think X'rhun, because it's almost inevitable that he'll rise with the dawn and earn a growl from I'lyrha over the disturbance. But in fact, she wakes up before him most mornings. She just likes to lay there and enjoy cuddling the warm covers for as long as she can

A question came to mind after I read your last Halsin x Nat x Karlach post.

After the events of the game, would the three of them live in the same house together? Share the same bedroom? Or would only one of them live with Nat while the other has their own place?

I have actually put on some thought on this before — considering first and foremost that everyone survives the whole ordeal to be together post-game fmkdlsfm

Through the game Halsin emphasizes a lot how he wishes to help make changes for the better for people in need, so I imagine that's his priority. Karlach kind of implies enjoying the idea of settling down somewhere, but she also seems to be in the same wavelength as Halsin is. Nathrae ultimately only knows she doesn't want to go back to Menzoberranzan (she actually fled it/the Underdark sometime before the game).

Given her own background as urchin, Nat would probably prefer to stick to whatever notion of help Halsin plans to seek out, and likely convince Karlach to tag along with it. They wouldn't be all three glued 24/7, but Nat would absolutely want to stick to the same area at least. So it'd be more or less like their camp life, where everyone is in the same region, sometimes together, sometimes not.

The sleep thing I already established that Nat has a hard time staying the whole night with Karlach. Karlach actually sleeps - something Nathrae doesn't - and generally has a more agitated night. She also gets up as soon she wakes up, and Nat has a slower starting morning.

So what typically happens is, if Nat is with Karlach at night, she will wait until Karlach falls asleep and then seek Halsin. Not only he's also an elf and meditates instead of sleeping, he also often uses some druidic magic to take her with him during said meditations, as Nat has had trouble having a decent rest in the past and finds his presence and spiritual wanderings calming.

In the occasion Karlach rather she stays, she communicates it, and Nat of course respects it and makes the effort to stay the whole night until morning with her. Likewise, Karlach respects when Nat decides to start and spend the whole night with Halsin instead of her.

Immanuel Tavrinth, half-elf, Oath of Devotion Paladin and Folk Hero. What languages is your character fluent in? Immanuel is, of course, fluent in common and elvish, given that he is a half-elf. He is also fluent in common sign language and infernal. I like to think he has a decent grasp on several other languages as well, though not as fluently as the ones I've listed. Over the course of the game I'd imagine he'd learn how to speak various Illithid languages also.

What is your character's alignment? After going through an alignment test, Immanuel is Lawful Good, though I could see him leaning toward Neutral Good also.

What would your Tav be doing if they weren't kidnapped on the Nautiloid? Probably doing what he was doing when he got kidnapped: traveling. Immanuel is a nomadic soul, wandering the lands and helping those he can, while acting in the interest of Tyr, God of Justice.

This isn't fully decided on yet, but a current idea I have is that Immanuel is a former werewolf. Maybe he traveled with a band of Tyrran paladins like himself who were turned. Maybe he got separated from his band and found a cure himself, but got caught kidnapped and taken onto the Nautiloid before he could find his allies. Maybe he'd still be looking for them if he wasn't kidnapped.
