Okay, okay, okay... What if I said that Hades' love language is actually letting go of the people (gods) he loves...

(maybe, when the second game will be fully released we can speculate about the impact of his relationship with Chronos and all this story with him confining his sons... but for now there are some facts)

First of all, it's Persephone, of course... When she described their marriage, she said Hades always gave her the space she needed (what actually was important considering her controlling mother). And when she decided to leave Hades literally was dying to protect her choice. And it seems like the worse for Hades is the possibility of Persephone being miserable in the Underworld and/or in relationship with him.

The second point is Zagreus. And there was a question from Meg, why did Lord Hades just hadn't locked away his rebellious son at the beginning. But in the end we see this breathtaking moment when Hades just let him leave and go to Persephone without any obstacles... Yes, it was definitely the act of love.

And last but not least... Of course, this is the moment when Chronos attacked the House of Hades and captured all its residents... So, Hades was with a baby Melinöe and saved her giving his daughter to Hecate. We can observe it was more practical and needed... Although, again, this is an indisputable demonstration of love.

I love how this trait of Hades (combined with his difficult personality and the trauma of Persephone leaving) is used when we first start playing the first game to confuse us as to how Hades truly feels about his son or wife.

I feel kinda bad for the charlastor shippers. Like, as a radiodust shipper, we got it bad after the series, but at least what we got was no content. Charlastor? Phew. I have no doubt that world's greatest dad cut your numbers down bad. And the people I've seen against the ship because of that song? Even when Alastor saying she's like a daughter to him was clearly a manipulation tactic and a way to get on Lucifer's nerves? Sure, the ship isn't my cup of tea, but the amount of people calling the ship gross is a little annoying. Again, Alastor clearly doesn't actually think of Charlie as a daughter. Someone he can use to get power? Yeah. But the only one that is even close to being a daughter to him is Nifty.

i’m still figuring out how redbook works so i can’t share the video here yet, but y’all.

a woman made a post on tiktok talking about li hua, a pseudonym students in china learning english would write under to american “pen pals.” these letters were never sent. apparently it was crazy common, hundreds of letters have been written from li hua.

and people have started saying they feel like li hua is getting a response.

this woman posted this on tiktok and the comments were full of people writing responses, apologizing to li hua for not being in touch for so long. and one american mentioned how when they were a kid they dug holes in the beach and thought if they dug deep enough they could reach china all the way on the other side of the world, and that just awoke some MEMORIES. like, i did that. i dug holes in the sand and wondered how close i was. “as children we dug holes at the beach to try to get to you. we wondered what you’d be like our whole lives.”

the same woman made a post talking about THAT on redbook, saying it feels like we’ve both been just struggling to reach each other for so long. “i suddenly realize, this meeting was actually a two way effort. it’s like you’ve done a lot of hard work and come a long way before a date, and the wait was too long that you gradually started to forget the original intention of embarking on this road, and began to doubt, is your date real? suddenly one day, they really appeared in front of you and tell you i also made an effort to see you. and that’s a wonderful thing.”

idk that just made me cry a bit. i’ve seen a couple people refer to the feeling of being a little kid at the playground again, awkward and clumsy and sometimes hurting each other but everyone just eager to meet and share what they love.

Was looking at refs and since Viktor has two different leg braces I was wondering, do we think he wears them simultaneously?? The refs don't perfectly line up perspective-wise so it's hard to tell but parts of the one he wears during the Hexcore scenes look like they could maybe line up with the brace that he wears over his clothes, but also some parts really don't and look like they'd be super uncomfy. Also HOW does he take these on and off. Experts weigh in
