I have never sobbed so much while fighting an enemy. Like they expected me to be okay after hearing Clive sob like that?! Or how Joshua said,

And they have Cid’s, Joshua’s and his father’s voice overlap while fighting Ultima and I’m just supposed to be normal about that? LIKE THE WRITERS EXPECT ME TO BE MENTALLY AND EMOTIONALLY STABLE?! YOU’RE JUST RUBBING SALT ON THE WOUND HERE.

But then, after everything, it’s just pain when they show past memories between Clive and Joshua. Like the moment where Joshua as a baby and his little hand grabs Clive’s finger… IT’S OKAY I’LL JUST GO SOB SOME MORE IN THE FUCKING CORNER AND TURN INTO A PUDDLE OF MY OWN TEARS!! IN FACT, JUST SHOOT ME IT’LL HURT LESS!!!

This story is about them. It’s always been about Clive and Joshua. Fuck the crystals, fuck Ultima and romance, (sorry Jill) none of the side shit matters. It’s their relationship, their bond and love they have for each other. And i love them.

Then Jill is fucking sobbing and Torgal is howling and I’m still processing this shit even though I knew what would happen in the end. And everything hurts.

I may seem very picky but honestly, despite having themes or dynamics i like or dislike, I'm able to love everything AS LONG as it has fixed dynamics of my preference.

No "switching as default", no "i used to too but now i will bottom for whatever reason", no "I'm bottoming now but I'm topping next time", no rapid character change just because there's stereotypes around what bottoms or tops act like. No. Just character preferring to be the bottom and default being seen and wanted as a bottom. That's it, that's all I want to be happy and all over someone's idea.
