if i had a nickel for every time i’ve fallen in love with a dark haired golden-eyed character that was hated in season 1 by the fanbase for being morally grey at best and whiny and immature at worst

who then went through a period of intense self-reflection by traveling a broken world alone

only to return home and betray someone close to them for what they thought were the right reasons

and who also had a season 3 glow up that had every straight and most queer fans panting after them
