This has been written as a fanfic on FF.net and is insanely good, it’s set in the dc universe.

I wonder if, in superhero universes, the villains ever get contacted by those “Make a Wish Foundation” and similar people.

I mean, the heroes do, of course they do, kids who want to meet Spiderman or Superman or get to be carried by the Flash as he runs through Central City for just thirty seconds.

But surely there are also the kids, who - because they are kids and sometimes kids are just weird - decide that what they really, really want is to meet a supervillain. Because he’s scary or she’s awesome or that freeze ray is just really, really cool, you know?

They are very similar conversations- where a Link is pointing out/asking about something that the others have experienced and they haven't. Which is really cool to compare and contrast but they all just freak out about it

The lesson here is that apparently the Links will always be freaked out when one of them has missed out on one of the Zelda Fundamentals™

so due to steam sales i finally played subnautica!!

which, is a big deal since not only do i have severe thalassophobia i have like. the kind that makes me pass out at the sight of deep water. keeled over in an aquarium tunnel involuntarily. very annoying, given a lifelong fascination with the ocean/living in a location surrounded by water, so me and the ocean has just been 2+ decades of bashing myself against my body's random kill switch.

but i made it down to blood kelp/lost river so far! streamed it for my friends while playing full screen with the lights off for maximal effect (because by god i was going to either fight through it or faint trying and either way it would be funny for everyone else)

creatures dont scare me nearly as much as the vertigo of deep water, which is funny, since i have never been attacked by a leviathan, but i have gotten trapped in multiple trenches/cliffs at night where i would have rathered a reaper come try to merc me. also met a ghost leviathan before one of them.

plus, apparently i put my baby base in The location without knowing

but so far im super proud to have tackled something ive been wanting to attempt for a long time! turns out its a very fun game even though it happens to be a nuke directly to my psyche's achilles heel. its held my hand to naturally transition from "i REFUSE to exit the lifepod from the bottom at night" to "fuck this stupid slow sub im getting out and swimming home from 900m deep with nothing but the light of my thermal knife because i dont have battery for anything else"

junko: griefs everyone's builds when no one else is online, claims it wasnt her

chihiro: looked at the server logs, knows its her, too non-confrontational to say anything

taka: has never played a video game in his life, has no idea what he's doing

mondo: trying really hard to teach taka but is ALSO bad at minecraft

byakuya: AFK farming and exploiting villagers for maximum emerald output, gets mad if anyone on the server is richer than him

kyoko: the others never see her online, but she inexplicably has a massive amount of resources (byakuya hates that her house is bigger than his)

hifumi: plays a lot of minecraft, good at building

celeste: realized the above information and made hifumi build her a european castle

sayaka: died to a zombie her first night, too scared to log back in

toko: "I-I'll o-only play if m-master byakuya's online-!!" and proceeds to just follow him around while crouching

genocide jack: the same, except she keeps killing him. has started saying "in minecraft" after mentioning her irl crimes

leon: logs in, dies once, rage quits, calls the game stupid, repeat

aoi: says "im going to go explore!" and ends up ten thousand blocks away from spawn

sakura: spends all her time building with the items aoi brings back

yasuhiro: horrified scream every time he sees a hostile mob

mukuro: "if junko really wants me to, I guess I will mine and craft"

makoto: the one who suggested they make the server in the first place

Very interesting how in the duga ending Perseus is genuinely delighted that you're still alive and welcomes you back as his comrade with open arms and he's supposed to be the bad guy whereas the "good guys" of the game make it very clear in their treatment of you that they do not think of you as a person let alone their friend.

The initial blast of words like crying out, like Alice’s mom is pleading out to the world in hopes that her daughter hears. Alice realizing it was written and performed to open the door to the road at concerts and to protect her from the generational curse. To teach other witches how to protect each other. And when she realizes the ballads full potential to not only save the coven, but her love and memories with her mom, she finally unleashes her magic and plays that piano like a witch. The swelling of the music with hope and agency as the entire coven realize that they have survived, witches will survive no matter how many times they are burned (both figuratively and literally). Alice and her coven will continue that legacy, they will prevail and sing this ritual. And maybe Lorna Wu didn’t break the curse in time to do it physically, but she and her love for Alice survives through song.

I find it so funny that when people draw the palidins in the seasons where Keith is piloting the black lion, Lance has red and Allura has blue, they draw them in the correctly coloured armour even though they kept their original colours in the show.

Like I love how it collectively pissed us all off enough that we all silently made this agreement that the show was wrong and we all just pretend their armour changes to match their lions

Só painful to see Cassidy be talking about Eva setting up the game tournament with her Like “Eva really helped me out, maybe she’s doing that now because she doesnt need to pretend any more yayayaya ^-^” when Eva was using that for murder this entire time.
