This is less an ask, but more a compliment- I love, love, love the choice to have Tigerclaw become Fireheart’s dad. I think it’s my absolute favorite change y’all have made from the source. It adds so much complex emotion and dramatic tension to a part of the story that always felt very flat to me. The scenes between TC and FH continue to stick with me. Brilliant change.
Aww!! Thank you! I appreciate the kind words you lot and Dullard have given me!
Tigerclaw becoming Fireheart's dad was sort of an incidental notion sprung from a few ideas taken to their logical conclusion arranged in such a way to crush the hearts of the then-hypothetical readers. And from how yall have reacted, that gamble was a success. I always found Goldenflower fascinating as the cat-wife of Tigerclaw and mother of her children, and her newly-minted role of matriarch puts her in the prime position to look at a young child who needs a mom and say, "My baby now." Tigerclaw would then be Fireheart's father, and Fireheart would have to confront him! And Fireheart would also be impacted by Tigerclaw's actions on an emotional level besides just Bluestar and Goldenflower and the Clan as a whole! Oh! How juicy! How dramatic! It's just like the melodrama canon likes to indulge in, except actually relevant to the plot and characters!
#and tigerclaw being firehearts dad also serves to tie him into clan culture#in canon fireheart joins the clan through his courtship with sandstorm#and his descendants now thrive—#perhaps a little too much#—in thunderclan of the current arcs#ties through romance and descendants are valid for storytelling dont get me wrong#but fireheart never really felt emotionally tied to anyone that strongly#sure there was bluestar and yellowfang as semi-motherly figures#and cinderpelt and graystripe as his friends#and sandstorm as his eventual lover#but being accepted by the matriarch and her mate the finest warrior in the clan as their son?#oh yeah#thatll make him emotionally invested#and it serves as a perfect excuse for him to be personally invested—#—in bramble and tawnys lives#unlike canon which had goldie awkwardly shuffle the responsibility of telling—#—her kittens about tigerclaws crimes on fireheart#ask#dancingstark#lynx#editor#kind words

ok fuck Starclan we need a bad bitch who thinks she is above the rules and she is RIGHT fuck the rules girlie if you love her you love her go get your fuckin riverclan girlfriend.
Is it weird that I miss Silverstream? I feel like no matter what she doesnt regret a thing and would do it all over again even if it meant she'd die again and again. Shes stubborn as hell and the rules mean nothing to her, the only thing that upsets her is that she wasn't there to raise her kits.
Au shit
ANYWAY i feel like Graystripe should have been more involved in the lives of his TWO VERY CLOSE CHILDHOOD FRIENDS? CHILDREN?? like i get he was gone for a while that's fine he cpuldnt help that but 😭😭😭 idk? before he was lost to the clans, after he got back, hello?? where is he. come on man do something.
(btw this is a mothxleaf au because ummm leaf deserves better than crow and also oooh parallels of riverclan x thunderclan relationship oooooh wow i’m so creative)
SOOO in this AU Gray is much more involved and immediately sees the telltale signs of "ohh ok yeah lol she's sneaking out to meet someone" in Leafpool because HE DID THAT TOO!! He only really stresses to her that she has to be careful, think about what she's doing, dont get in over her head and don't forget her duties to her clan. If he could go back, he'd do so much differently, and he doesn't want Leafpool to go through the same pain he did.
Well after that whole big talk, Silver, who’s still watching over him, overhears some of this (namely where she was mentioned bc she wants all the gossip and backtalk even if it’s about her) and decides like. “oh my god. i have to get involved in this.” so she plays matchmaker a bit, becomes a cool aunt to leafpool
anyway i LOOOOVVEEE LOVE LOVE the idea of Mothwing being wrapped up in starclan’s prophecies with the three because holy SHITTT URGHHRHR LIKE. SHES AN ATHEIST AND STARCLAN CANT EVEN COMMUNICATE W HER BUT SHES STILL A PART OF THE GGRAND PLAN BUT BC SHE DOESNT BELIEVE SHE CANT SEE IT AND ITS SO,. IDK??? ITS COOL IDK
i don’t think starclan as a whole is evil bc i don’t think silver is doing this out of any ill intent if anything it’s breaking down the stupid rules starclan is so keen on enforcing. i feel like gray would big time support leaf and moth once the truth comes out, and silver would support leaf during her starclan trial like “you fuckers wanted those kits born, this literally had to happen bc y’all wanted it to and you’re mad about it???”
OH OH ALSO CINDERPELT!! WOULD BE SO INVOLVED BC EVEN AFTER ALL THOSE YEARS SHE HOLDS GUILT OVER SILVER’S DEATH AND IS TERRIFIED THAT IT WAS ACTUALLY STARCLAN PUNISHING HER THAT CAUSED HER DEATH AND IS SO AFRAID OF LOSING LEAFPOOL TOO

au doodles! basic premise is that firestar and tigerstar actually do get to fight and firestar loses miserably to tigerstar, escaping with sandstorm and graystripe to the twolegplace where princess tells them about a certain alleycat leader who might be able to help them. During his time there, Firestar must heal physically and emotionally and realize he needs to figure out what he really wants (and Scourge provides some help with that).
back in tigerclan, longtail and cinderpelt work together as spies and convince their clanmates to stand up to themselves for when firestar returns. cloudtail is chased off for being a kittypet and brightheart goes with them, the two narrowly avoiding execution to try and find their former leader and his friends.
(some more info if you're interested: x, x, x)

So sorry if you’ve already talked about her and I just can’t find the post, but I would love to hear about BB!Sliverstream. I feel like the fandom and the books portray her as just generically loving and who’s whole life revolves around Graystripe and their tragic romance… But come on! She was breaking the code to meet him, she’s rebellious! She’s the daughter of Crookedstar! There’s so much potential there for a really fun character. But she ends up being nothing but dead warrior cats wife/mother number one
UNG
I've talked about her before but I'd have to go digging for it, so I'm just going to gush about her and everyone is gonna listen up. Because I love her. I love her so much. I love everything about her and her death and I think anyone who boils her down to just "a fridge wife" needs to read TPB again, and open their hearts and minds to the IMPACT that she had on the entire narrative
Because she DOESN'T just die to give Graystripe man pain. She hits EVERYONE, she drives the plot, she was a really well characterized cat and her death is heartwrenching!!!
First of all, I like the explicit fact that Graystripe and Fireheart are very young at the time. New warriors, almost immediately given apprentices.
In BB, I decided to make this one point where Bluestar bends the code to a disastrous result (in BB, you aren't supposed to have an apprentice until you're at least a year out). Graystripe should not have an apprentice when he's barely out of apprenticeship himself! Young people do dumb and wreckless things, question rules, they do what they want. And he ignores Brackenpaw to hang out with Silverstream.
And it's easy to see why! Silverstream's a self-assured, hostile popstar who is daughter of the leader and PRIDES herself in that. She has a great heart but will not follow rules she thinks are dumb, because she feels she is above consequence.
And she likes Graystripe because he's HONEST. He does what he pleases and if he takes an interest in you, it's genuine and flattering. He's funny! He's good humored and laid back! Fireheart is frustrated by this because he's responsible, anxious, and serious, but Graystripe CAN'T stay serious for that long.
He needs to live and relax. YES that makes him irresponsible and even avoidant-- and I like that a lot! But he loves with such raw devotion, never able to do what Clan Culture expects of him!
So NO WONDER these two ended up as cross clan mates. They're like peanut butter and jelly. Silverstream who feels above the rules and Graystripe who is loyal to people over clan. To them, the Code is a guideline
AND YOU KNOW WHAT?? THEYRE RIGHT!!!!
The code IS flawed!!! This IS a bad fucking rule! Their love IS stronger than this! The "Law of Loyalty" (my bb term for it) EXISTS BECAUSE OF THE SIMPLE TRUTH;
IF YOU LOVE CATS OF OTHER CLANS, AS FRIENDS, LOVERS, OR FAMILY, YOU SEE THAT THE DIVISONS ARE BULLSHIT
And that destroys the battle culture!! We SEE this in TPB, there are several times where cats will back off of fighting Fireheart because he's their fucking friend! He refuses to hurt Silverstream because she's his best friend's lover!!
And when she dies it's DEVASTATING. It wouldn't be the same if Graystripe's choices following her death were about choosing his lover over his home clan!
It's childbirth, as if she's being punished by StarClan for codebreaking! She wanted to deliver her children with her mate by her side, and had a horrible death on the rocks away from an experienced medcat. Cinderpelt blames herself for not being good enough to save her, destroying her confidence for several chapters until she can realize it was never her fault
And after this, Bluestar doesn't punish Graystripe... because she knows how awful it is to lose a mate from another Clan. Her death should be enough; in spite of the baying from the Tiger Clique for a harsher sentence.
Like... what frustrates me most about Silv is how the later books reduced her, for a period of time, into JUST a sweet nicey fridgewife that gives Graystripe permission to move on. She was fierce. She was assertive. She is the person who said, "If the law says my love is wrong, then it's the CODE that's incorrect!"
I wish she kept that ferocity in Graystripe's dreams and memories of her. A voice that would tell him that his heart has never lead him astray, even when others told him he was on the wrong path.
It was nice to see her return to some form with a spike of jealousy in TBC, and for as much as I hated Leopardstar's Honor, at LEAST it remembered she wasn't a sweet nicey waif.
So in BB I plan to change very little. BB!Silverstream was beloved by a lot of people, and people will fight for her name. Her death has a huge, negative impact on Graystripe and he never totally gets over her death, even while he's raising his new family. During TigerClan, her children are stripped of their names and slapped with cruel Dishonor Titles (Stormpaw to Graypaw, Featherpaw to Silverpaw), to remind them of how their birth killed their mother, and that their father is not here to pay for his crimes.
This infuriates her friends and family, and Deerfoot's rebels are joined by them in their guerilla opposition of TigerClan.

I find it super ironic that my first post is about shipping when that's already what all of fandom focuses on lmao.
Anyway I'm halfway through A Dangerous Path on my reread and I just cannot get behind Fireheart x Sandstorm. And it's on both of their ends.
Fireheart does not spare her a thought. He doesn't realize her affections until Cinderpelt points them out. After this he begins to see her as attractive, and shares meals and patrols sometimes, but his inner dialogue never views her as a close friend or someone to actually depend on like he does Graystripe and Cinderpelt.
Like he says when Cloupaw gets captured by twolegs, he feels he has no one left in ThunderClan, with Graystripe in Riverclan and Cinderpelt busy with med cat duties. And Sandstorm gets offended by this. Not hurt that her feelings aren't mutual, but angry at him and expecting him to make up for it.
And she continues to get angry and petty at him for not being the cat she wants. Sandstorm does have feelings for him, but she's so mean about it. When Fireheart discloses going behind Bluestar's back to prevent the battle with Windclan to all the warriors, she straight up recruits Dustpelt to bully him again for his actions. And all the other times she gets offended when he's busy and can't spend time with her. I just don't see any actual affection here.
I don't remember if a significant change happens in their interactions by the last book, but I just feel that they are not a good fit for each other lol

My Top 10 Favorite Warrior Cats.
Cinderpelt was the main source of entertainment and enthusiasm in book 2, and 3 and I love that! She would have made it higher is the authors (don't remember the name, and too lazy to look it up) didn't kill her off so soon. Twilight was so annoying, the entire book was terrible, and I was so sad when she died. And her disability was very terribly written. She broke her leg by a car, and she can't be a warrior anymore. I would discuss about it all day long, but I need to move on to #9.
I love our little fruit loop! I mainly love Tallstar's character because of his Super Edition. Tallstar's Revenge is my favorite Euper Edition of all of warrior cats. The characters in the book got stuff done for once. (I don't remember all of the super editions, it has been a long time since I read them). And his little relationship with Jake is super cute! I met someone at a library and she doesn't like Tallstar x Jake. She was a homophobic, and I hate homophobes. She just make me angry, so I never talked to her again. Anyway, I just thought the bowtie idea was cute, and I decided to put that in.
I really love frostpaw because I can relate to her issues, but I think she was like a reboot of Shadowsight. Which Shadowsight was fine, no problem with him. I think frostpaw is just a cute name in general. I have never drawn her before, so i had to some up with grays on the spot. Anyway the next one!
Now we got some of the best kitties in my eyes! Ravenpaw was my favorite characters in the books before someone else came along that will be in #1. But he was basically the start of the series besides Firestar. Think about it, he tells him what happened with the Tigerstar situation. Firestar would have never known if Ravenpaw didn't spill the truth. And I think him moving to the farm was probably the best thing that has happened to him. Barley is not my favorite, it is just that I wanted to draw them. Next one!
Honestly Lightleap is probably the best character in arc 8 because she is so entertaining and snarky. The best type of character. And she caused a lot of drama which I love. It sucks that she has not been there much in book 3 and 4 of A Starless Clan.
She was supposed to be #4, but I forgot I didn't do 5, so instead of thinking more, I just put her there. Briarlight is the only good cat in her family. Mille is very mental, Blossomfall is very bad, and is very.... dramatic? I don't know how to describe it. Graystripe who i don't know what is going on in his head, and Bumblestripe who obsessed with a girl who doesn't want him. Briarlight is the sweetest cat and her death in the fourth or fifth book in AVOS was very sad. I love her friendship with her best friend, Jayfeather. (Yes, best friend! Jayfeather is gay in my head! I don't care if he loved Half Moon). Briarlight is just great! Love her!
Don't really have a reason to put her up here. Maybe I am just obsessed with the name i gave her. I was gonna switch her and Briarlight out, but oh well. I mainly like first arc Bluestar not her super edition (I mean, who does like her super edition)? I just like calling her Queen of the double wide.
Here's Dovewing! My baby! I am happy to put her here on this list! I really don't understand why some people hate Dovewing. She is a great protagonist, and a good mom as well. And also I feel bad for her because she was forced to be with him (Bumblestripe) for a while because of peer pressure. But I am glad she made to choice to get out of the pain.
AAAHHH! SQUIRRELSTAR!!! SHE'S HERE! I have been waiting for 4 years for this. She is basically just like me. (Except the shortness! I am not short). I do what is right, but I don't need approval from anyone. Honestly her husband is a dickhead, so I am glad he stepped down. I wished he would have died though.
JAYFEATHER! HE IS MY FAVORITE KITTY EVER! Does anyone need to explain why he is some people's favorite? Well I do. I can relate to him because everyone is an idiot! The books make them really dumb sometimes, and points out Jay's blindness. And guess who points this out? Jayfeather! He is my favorite for that reason. He is grumpy, but has a valid reason for it. And I can't get myself started on his boyfriend. He is not that interesting, but seeing fanart of Jayfeather and Kestrelflight just makes a smile on my face. (Dusklight for example, go follow them! One of the remaining kestreljay fans, and their work is flawless)! Honestly the sunglasses idea was random. I love a video that someone posted on Christmas day, https://youtu.be/ijd4YaXCjIQ?si=QY8NmE_tV46Yk_8x anyway, that is it. I am tired. :(

I have seen a lot of "people need to stop making everything romantic and let friends stay friends", and while I agree with this, I was also a little bit annoyed with it (probably because I have seen this take a lot when people talk about my OTP).
But then I realize that the reason I ship my OTP as romantic and not platonic pairing is because people don't take platonic relationships seriously. If they are a pair or at least best friends then they are special and people will draw them together and write about them, but if they just friends (no matter how close) then who cares.
I have an example. It's a well written platonic relationship from the first arc that was forgotten by authors and fandom alike that was overshadowed by romantic relationships. It's Cinderpelt and Fireheart, okey. Everyone remembers that Fireheart was pining for Spottedleaf all the time but less people remember that he also spent a lot of time hanging around with Cinderpelt. I watch a "Firestar's Quest" recap and Firestar taking Graystripe and Sandstorm (his best friend and his mate) to the forest to talk with them will be mentioned but Cinderpelt (his whatever just friend), who also was present, will be forgotten. If there is a fanfiction centered around Firestar then Cinderpelt again is likely to be forgotten or barely mentioned. If there is a MAP based on Firestar then again you would be lucky if Cinderpelt appears for a frame or two. It's not like Cinderpelt was his actual closest friend who he trusted the most and who never failed him and always was there for him. And I don't even need to mention works that centers on Cinderpelt, Nine times from ten it will be one-sided love that she has to move on from and Firestar doesn't even care for her. It's not like Firestar was there for her during her worst and stayed close to her after and used to accompany her to the Fourtrees whenever it's half-moon (Hunters should've kept it in the second arc but they had to move Firestar to the background and forget all the good qualities he had).
So yeah, people do need to take platonic relationships more seriously and stop making everything about romance.

(btw I love your rewrite it's so cool :3)
Thank you so much! Your cat is... Heatherwish!
Heatherwish is Longtail's sister, born of Patchpelt and Bluebellfur, and mates with Dappletail's son, Cricketfang.
Heatherwish is a pale tabby molly with blue eyes, black legs, black ears, a black tail, and distinctive black markings.
She is one of the minor characters shown in Canon!Into The Wild, and has her own sprite!
She is now the mother of Brackenfur and Cinderpelt. As far as political spectrum goes, she's softer than Goldenflower, but harder than Brindleface, her 2 goods friends. Mid-soft Codeist. She was kind to Fireheart but also agreed he shouldn't have become deputy. Bit young, bit inexperienced, and also because that was a lot of pressure and attention on said young cat.
Political spectrum of the Gen 1 Queens:
Brindleface > Heatherwish > Frostfur > Willowpelt > Goldenflower > Speckletail > Grayflower
A kind-hearted lady of War. She was ready to slaughter cats when her babies were kidnapped by one of Brokenstar's lackeys. Cricketfang stayed behind as a nursery guard, but Heatherwish joined the patrol that would get the stolen kittens back.
She was very protective over Cinderpaw after the accident, though not the way Fireheart is. Her main worry is that Cinderpaw is going to get infected, or that she will feel worthless next to her gifted brother Brackenpaw, or that whatever happened could happen again if Cinderpaw does get back out there. She is supportive when her daughter wants to become a Medicine Cat, and this actually causes a tiny chain of events that makes Fireheart re-evaluate his internal biases.
He couldn't understand at first why Heatherwish and Cricketfang were so happy for Cinderpaw, and when he said it to Yellowfang, she finally snapped him out of it. Heatherwish was happy that her daughter was alive. Happy that her daughter discovered something she liked. Her warrior status didn't mean a thing to Heatherwish, her baby was happy and that was enough.
Heatherwish's best subject growing up was battle training, but her worst was history. Girl could tell you battle tactics to absolutely destroy your enemies but she could not tell you a thing about the founding of her Clan. You're better off going to Longtail. Regardless, she graduated MUCH faster than Longtail did, as she took up Queen Studies to become a Semi-Permanent Queen, and Longtail/Longpaw REALLY struggled with hunting.
Speaking of, she is incredibly close with her brother, Longtail, and when Tigerclaw got himself exiled and his apprentice/daughter was transferred to her, she was over the moon! She taught Lynxpaw everything she could.
She grew very close with her apprentice, and was always reporting her good progress to Goldenflower.
She also recommended Lynxpaw's warrior name, Lynxpetal, to Fireheart, which he kept in mind when he finally gave Lynxpaw her long-awaited name.
She cheers when Longtail is made deputy, and in Graystripe's Clan (Then) is one of the cats against Graystripe becoming deputy. When Graystripe does a little digging, he finds that it isn't out of dislike for him, but because him becoming deputy was "the one good thing that came out of this mess."
A lot of bad things happened to Hearherwish throughout TPB. Patchpelt had died. Cinderpelt's accident had been terrifying. She lost her friend Brindleface.
Cricketfang had been killed in the Battle of Bloodclan.
She wasn't angry with Graystripe. She was angry with the world that had now blinded her brother.
She almost retires, during Graystripe's Clan (Then). But in the end, decides against it. Longtail however, expresses a desire to go into the Elder's den. He's too tired to keep going. He can still fight and hunt, but everything he has been through in his life has been a bit too much for him. She relents, and he goes on to enjoy a nice early retirement.
After that, the spark in Heatherwish never fully comes back. She is still the kindhearted fighter she was, but you can tell she's missing something.
Of course, she makes the journey to the Lake just fine, helping out Cinderpelt whenever she needs it, as Brambleclaw is helping Longtail the most. Sometimes it's as simple as carrying Cinderpelt's herb satchel, sometimes her daughter needs to lean on her for support just to get through some of the terrain.
She fights valiantly when a badger charges into camp, followed by a Herd of Boars, but sadly, in the same battle that claims Cinderpelt, Heatherwish is also taken. She dies fighting beside Brackenfur, protecting her son from a boar's awful tusks

Who Knows Pawspeak?
A little random post here because I have Feathercloud brainrot always <3
So, who in BT knows pawspeak (sign language), and how well do they know it?
Clan-by-Clan
ThunderClan: All cats in ThunderClan know some level of pawspeak, even if they refuse to learn it, just from constant exposure to Feathercloud and Snowpaw. Hard not to pick stuff up when you see it every day! The young kits are the only ones who don't know anything/much, and the apprentices are all still learning, but learning quick.
RiverClan: They don't know sh*t! The only cats who know anything would likely by Leopardfur's group, and even then it would only be basic stuff likely used on patrols (ex.: "over there," "prey," "wait," etc.), and they likely wouldn't remember how to sign it themselves anyway, and are quickly forgetting.
WindClan: Most cats in WindClan know some level of pawspeak! They aren't as exposed as ThunderClan, but many have actively dedicated themselves to learning for Ravenwing's sake, plus, they're smart enough to realize it makes for good communication in attacks/ambushes! That doesn't mean everyone's willing to learn, though.
ShadowClan: A few cats know pawspeak! Nothing drastic, but some cats like Badgerfang and Blossomtail have learned from being interclan friends with Ravenwing and the likes! A few others have picked up some sign briefly, but not enough to really understand much.
BloodClan: What's pawspeak?
Character-by-Character
Bluestar - Very little. Used to know more but actively lost it during her descent
Fireheart - Master at it! Doesn't use it frequently outside of talking with Feathercloud and Snowpaw, though
Spottedleaf - Master at it! Very dedicated to learning it and practices whenever she has time
Cinderpelt - Master at it but it took her a long time, especially post-Cricketheart death, and she has to relearn words a lot
Goldenflower - Knows a good chunk of the basics. Could theoretically hold a conversation, though stunted
Whitestorm - Forgetful at first but relearns quickly; able to hold a conversation
Frostfur - Actively refuses to "listen" to pawspeak (but she does know the basic words anyway, simply pretends she doesn't)
Brindleface - Finds it confusing, but she's starting to try and learn
Runningwind - Master at it! Learns every new word Feathercloud or Snowpaw makes immediately
Redtail - Formerly a master of sorts at it, but only got to know the basic/beginning of the language, and is now pretty rusty in StarClan, but is absolutely willing to learn when Cricketheart teaches him
Mousefur - Knows a lot but doesn't actively practice it or use it
Darkstripe - Knows the basics but also pretends he doesn't know (but more because he feels stupid for not remembering some signs)
Creekflower - Master at it! Struggles over some signs, though, and takes a moment to register pawspeak
Longtail - Knows a few of the basics, hasn't desired to learn it ever, but doesn't protest when he unintentionally learns some
Cherryfur - Master at it! Literally dedicated herself to learning it out of spite
Feathercloud - Master at it. Obviously. So what of spoken speech? He's a master at lip reading, and also a master at verbally speaking and keeping his volume, etc. Often will still speak even when signing
Cricketheart - Master at it, even in death! Refuses to let herself become shabby.
Graystripe - Formerly a master at it, became really rusty in RiverClan, and now has to relearn it
Dustpelt - Knows the basic stuff and more, especially patrol-focused, and is professional about it except when he decides to be mean
Brackenfur - Master at it! Actively corrects people when they get something wrong
Cloudtail - Knows a decent amount but absolutely sucks at actually signing any of it
Missingheart - Knew a decent amount and would try to hold conversations with Feathercloud, but ultimately give up and whine about it being to hard; needs to relearn
Lynxpaw - Knew a good amount so she could understand Feathercloud but would mockingly pretend not to know; is now violently being forced to learn it by Cricketheart in StarClan
Lostface - Like her mother, absolutely refused to learn, and genuinely doesn't know a lot past the minimal
Thornpaw - Knows some, but never understands anyway
Cliffpaw - Decently good at it, more due to being good at guessing the context than genuinely knowing some gestures
Ashpaw - Actually weirdly knows a lot of pawspeak. Never uses it, but he understands it fluently
Fernpaw - Struggling to learn, but is trying
Elderpaw - Pretty good at it, but still has some hiccups
Tulippaw - Currently knows nothing and is constantly confused; will learn a lot soon ;)
Mistlepaw - Master at it! Translates for Snowpaw all the time
Snowpaw - Once more, master at it, obviously. He's still learning words from Feathercloud, but he picks them up with ease. As for spoken speech, he isn't the best at lip reading and often relies on Mistlepaw to translate for him. He also rarely ever speaks and thinks everyone knows/should know pawspeak. When he does speak, his words are often slurred from lack of practice
Bramblepaw - Not the brightest, but is super eager to learn! Just often forgets a lot. Good at it regardless!
Tawnypaw - Decently good at it, but also still learning and does the context-clue thing like Cliffpaw
Willowpelt - Good at it! Feels embarrassed when she doesn't know words, which can prevent her from asking/learning
Sandstorm - Master at it! Feathercloud was her apprentice. There's some words she's missing, but she's honestly more fluent than Fireheart
Sorrelkit - Knows nothing, head empty
Rainkit - Knows nothing, head empty
Sootkit - Knows nothing, head a little less empty
Speckletail - Used to be like Frostfur, now learns for Snowpaw's sake, and gets really upset (at herself) when she can't understand something/get a signal right
Smallear - Genuinely probably the only cat who doesn't know anything, and uses the excuse of being old
Halftail - Knows a good amount, though can't hold a conversation
One-eye - Doesn't know too much but is good at what she does know
Dappletail - Master at it! But not perfect and often confuses signs
Lizardflight - Knows a lot but quickly forgetting due to lack of use
Mistyfoot - Learned a few signs when Graystripe accidentally used to do them, and remembers them
Leopardfur - Knew a little and mocked it but actually thinks some signs are useful and has remembered those ones
Reedpaw - Learned some! Doesn't remember any of it though
Copperleaf - Has learned some in passing! Knows greetings and such.
Dawncloud - Learned in passing/from her family, only remembers random words that feel useless to her, but thinks it's cool
Blossomtail - Knows a good amount! Can understand when others pawspeak
Badgerfang - Knows a good amount! Struggles more, but understands it
Swampfur, Oakfur, Littlecloud, Wetfoot, etc. - Learned random signs that they mostly forgot from family/friends. Oakfur has poor memory while Swampfur has a sharper one
Turtlepaw - Has learned some it through her family/WindClan friends; good memory for it
Tallstar - Knows it very well, uses many of the signs for orders, can forget the "casual conversation" words
Deadfoot - Master at reading it, struggles to sign words using his left front paw
Barkface - Knows most of it; just like memorizing herbs to him
Larksplash, Meadowsplash, Pigeonflight, Mistmouse, Ryestalk - Know some, especially what Tallstar's reinforced they learn, but can't hold conversation much, willing to learn
Sorrelshine, Webfoot, Crowfur, Stagleap - Know what Tallstar enforced but are hesitant to learn more
Tornear - Has a quick memory for it
Mudclaw - Finds it weird/confusing, only knows what Tallstar forced him to learn, doesn't like Ravenwing
Morningflower, Ashfoot, Onewhisker, Whitetail - Decently good at it
Airleap - Master at it, but fumbles over his signs a lot and doubts himself
Runningbrook - Master at it! Very dedicated to learning it and thinks it's really cool
Ravenwing - Master at it! Got rusty from his time as a barncat, but pick it back up easily
Barley - Master at it! Not used to having to learn so quickly, but did it for Ravenwing's sake
Gorsepaw, Storkpaw, Quailpaw - Learning and/or know the basics well
Tawnypaw II, Robinpaw, Rushpaw - Learning the basics only and hesitant
Gremlin, Scraps - Both have forgotten what little they learned at this point, but Gremlin would be incredibly happen to relearn and wants to while Scraps doesn't care as much but would still relearn

Twin Flames Rewrite: The Darkest Hour
Prologue: Tigerstar meets with Scourge. He promises him part of the forest in exchange for BloodClan’s help taking over the Clans.
Fireheart proudly watches as Morningflower’s two kits become warriors, named Gorseburr and Quailwing. He feels as though these are also his kits, as he helped to raise them.
Wildflame is chatting with the elders, and asks about their names, as she doesn’t think those are what they’ve always been called. They tell her about the name changing ceremony.
Wildflame waits by the border for Sandstar to return. Wildflame is delighted to see her, and then tells her that she wants Sandstar to change Lostleg and Scarface’s names. She then relays the ceremony information to her.
Sandstar returns to camp from receiving her nine lives and makes Whitestorm her deputy. She also changes Lostleg’s name to Swiftspirit and Scarface’s name to Brightheart. She also gives Thornpaw his warrior name, Thornclaw. She then summons Wildflame, Whitestorm, and Cinderpelt to her den. She tells them about a prophecy she received after her ceremony: Four will become two. Lion and Tiger will meet in battle, and blood will rule the forest.
Wildflame and Graystripe are leaving camp when he suddenly runs full-force at Darkstripe; Wildflame chases after him to find Sorrelkit collapsed on the ground. She quickly brings the kit to Cinderpelt, while Graystripe hauls his brother to Sandstar, who orders him to be watched while they determine what happened.
Once Sorrelkit recovers, she tells them that Darkstripe fed her the berries as a treat so she wouldn’t tell about a meeting she saw between him and another cat; Wildflame quickly determines the other cat was Blackfoot. Darkstripe is exiled from ThunderClan immediately.
Fireheart receives Crowpaw as an apprentice, and brings Leafpaw on the territory tour with them so she can collect herbs. He is surprised that Crowpaw is interested in the herbs Leafpaw is collecting, but glad that his daughter is making friends despite not being a warrior apprentice.
Tawnypaw approaches Wildflame anxiously, and tells her that Bramblepaw has left to join ShadowClan. The pair races to catch up with him; they catch up with him near the border. He explains that he was cleaning Speckletail’s nest when the elder once again blamed him for Snowkit’s death and compared him to Tigerstar. He says that if he is only ever going to be seen as a second Tigerstar, then he may as well go somewhere where they like what they see!
Wildflame is panicking that Sandstar’s apprentice wants to leave, but also wants Bramblepaw to do what is best for him. She convinces the two apprentices to sit with her; she tells Bramblepaw that he can make his own decisions but that he shouldn’t make big decisions out of anger and impulse. She talks to them about what it is like to have a sibling in a different Clan, and what it is like to switch Clans. She answers the questions they have and helps Tawnypaw come to terms with Bramblepaw’s decision.
She then asks Bramblepaw if he is sure, and notes that he seems much more confident in his decision to go to ShadowClan now. She then tells him that he will always have a place in ThunderClan if he wants it, and that she will always support him if he needs it. He leaves; Wildflame returns to camp and tells Sandstar what happened. Sandstar is upset that Wildflame didn’t stop him, but soon agrees that Wildflame did the right thing.
At the next Gathering, Wildflame and Fireheart catch up with each other. Wildflame is delighted to learn that Gorseburr and Quailwing are warriors now; Fireheart is glad to hear that Swiftspirit and Brightheart have been renamed and are doing well.
Tigerstar arrives with ShadowClan, and starts the Gathering by proposing that the Clans combine as TigerClan. He reveals that RiverClan has already joined; WindClan and ThunderClan erupt into outrage. Sandstar calls for silence, and then says ThunderClan will never join him. Tallstar agrees, and Sandstar begins to tell the gathered Clans about Tigerstar’s most recent attack on ThunderClan. She is interrupted by clouds covering the moon, which Tigerstar uses to end the Gathering.
Graystripe is worried about his kits, so he and Wildflame sneak into RiverClan territory. Near the camp, they are spotted by Dustpelt, who demands to know what they’re doing here. Graystripe doesn’t want to tell him, but Wildflame explains that they are trying to check on Graystripe’s kits and make sure they’re alright.
Dustpelt looks worried, then tells them to roll in the mud to disguise their scent and follow him. Graystripe is suspicious, but Wildflame remembers their time together in ThunderClan, and decides to trust him. Their scents now disguised, Graystripe and Wildflame follow Dustpelt to a sheltered area near the RiverClan camp where they can watch what is happening. They watch Stonefur’s execution; Dustpelt and Wildflame must prevent Graystripe from attacking. Dustpelt sends Wildflame and Graystripe to a hidden area in the reeds a distance away from camp; they wait for a while, and then Dustpelt shows up with Featherpaw, Stormpaw, Mistyfoot, and Reedwhisker. Mistyfoot explains that Dustpelt lied to Jaggedtooth and Blackclaw to get the prisoners out of camp, and the former RiverClan cats want to go to ThunderClan with Graystripe and Wildflame.
The group then makes their way towards ThunderClan, with Dustpelt and Mistyfoot guiding them so that they are not caught by patrols. Near Sunningrocks, they are found by Blackclaw and a small patrol of other warriors. Dustpelt, Graystripe, and Wildflame try to defend the prisoners, but Mistyfoot and Reedwhisker must also join the fight as the ThunderClan cats are outnumbered. They are aided by a ThunderClan border patrol passing by. Ashpaw and Fernpaw are both on the patrol and fight well against the TigerClan warriors. Dustpelt is injured by the TigerClan cats, and Wildflame makes sure he returns to ThunderClan with them, certain that he will be killed if he does not. He expresses concern for his young apprentice, Rowanpaw, but Wildflame insists that he come with them.
Sandstar is shocked when the cats return, and accepts the RiverClan cats into ThunderClan for as long as they’d like. Wildflame and Dustpelt explain what happened while Graystripe takes the RiverClan cats to Cinderpelt. Sandstar tells Dustpelt he has a place in ThunderClan, if he wants it; he promises to think about it, but is unsure if the Clan will accept him.
Cinderpelt sees Dustpelt’s injuries and demands that he come to her den; Wildflame and Sandstar share a moment as Sandstar expresses concern for Wildflame’s tendency to get into danger.
Sandstar makes Ashpaw and Fernpaw warriors for their part in the fight, gaining the names Ashfur and Ferncloud.
Fireheart and Crowpaw are hunting near the RiverClan border when they hear fighting; Fireheart sends Crowpaw to camp to get help. He races towards the noise to find a border patrol being attacked. He and Quailwing fight side by side against the RiverClan and ShadowClan cats; the fight ends when Deadfoot is killed by Tigerstar. Crowpaw is upset at the death of his father; Fireheart and Quailwing must work together to prevent the apprentice from attacking the TigerClan leader.
They bring Deadfoot back to camp, and Fireheart sees Leafpaw and Crowpaw sitting together; Squirrelpaw and Darkpaw soon join them.
Tallstar names Mudclaw the new WindClan deputy; Darkpaw cheers loudly for his mentor.
In ThunderClan, Sorrelpaw, Rainpaw, and Sootpaw are apprenticed to Sandstorm, Dustpelt, and Longtail respectively.
At the Gathering, Tigerstar gives WindClan and ThunderClan half a moon to join TigerClan before there is war. The next day, Wildflame and Sandstar go to WindClan and meet with Tallstar. They agree to temporarily unite as LionClan and fight against Tigerstar.
Half a moon later, LionClan meets TigerClan at Fourtrees to reject Tigerstar’s demand; they are shocked to find BloodClan there as well. When LionClan refuses to submit to Tigerstar, he demands that BloodClan attack, but the Twolegplace cats do not move. Scourge says that BloodClan listens only to him; Sandstar explains Tigerstar’s actions to Scourge, hoping that he will decide not to attack the Clans. Scourge says he will think on what she’s said, and prepares to leave. Tigerstar, furious about this, attacks Scourge, who kills him nine times with one blow. Scourge then gives the Clans three days to leave the forest or BloodClan will force them out.
Ravenpaw and Barley arrive in ThunderClan, and Barley tells Sandstar about the history of BloodClan. Dustpelt and Ravenpaw have a warm-but-awkward reunion, and Dustpelt apologizes for thinking Wildflame would lie to him about his brother.
The four Clans unite as LionClan, and fight against BloodClan. In the fight, Darkstripe attacks Wildflame, and is then attacked and killed by Graystripe. Whitestorm is killed by Bone, who in turn is killed by a collection of apprentices from all the Clans. In the fighting, Sandstar names Dustpelt her new deputy, and he defends Rowanpaw, his former apprentice, from an attacker.
Scourge is finally defeated by Fireheart and Wildflame working together; once he is killed, BloodClan scatters.
The four Clans return to their territories. Blackfoot (soon to be Blackstar) and Russetfur take charge of ShadowClan. Mistyfoot, Reedwhisker, and Stormpaw return to RiverClan after an apology from Leopardstar, who then makes Mistyfoot deputy, and gives Stormpaw his warrior name of Stormfur. After talking with Wildflame and Graystripe, Featherpaw decides to remain in ThunderClan, and receives her warrior name, Feathertail. Wildflame attends the warrior ceremony of Fireheart’s kits, who are named Darktail and Squirreltail.

Redesign of warrior cat minis
okay so i don't like the warriors minis. I don't really hate them either, but they always felt really messy, cluttered, and inaccurate to me. But i also understand the cats need to be mass producible, since the franchise is so big, so i redesigned them using a base i made.
I might upload a video explaining every change in debth when im done with every set, but for now, the basics:
i traced the mini-maker stencil roughly and changed a few proportions, using the symmetry tool to keep patterns simple, unless the character patterns need to be different (like tawny). There are a few eyes and mouth differences for a variation of expressions, and i switched the second Jayfeather for Brokenstar. I also switched around the pairings for something more, logical.
For now i only have the first two sets done.
SET 1
Pair one: Firestar and Tigerstar.
The two famous leaders changed the clans around them for seasons and seasons to come. Firestar led the clans into a new age of tolerance and acceptance, while Tigerstar's rein still leaves scars in the clan's memory.
Pair two: Tawnypelt and Graystripe.
These two cats both struggled to find where their loyalties lie, leaving their original clan in search for a better life. While Tawnypelt found her home among the shadows, Graystripe decided he couldnt turn against his former friends.
Pair three: Jayfeather and Leafstar
These two cats may seem radically different on first glance, but they both share a calling for a greater destiny. When Leaf, a former rouge, was called apon to lead a brand new clan, she didnt let her anxiety come between her and her destiny! Jayfeather, simularly, set his sights on a warrior's glory, before his powers dragged him into a spiritual role he eventually saved the clans with.
SET 2
Pair one: Blackstar and Brokenstar
These two cats set their paws on the path of darkness when the clans still walked the forest. But while Brokenstar tormented the clans until his bitter end, Blackfoot was able to turn away at the last moment, leading shadowclan in peace for moons.
Pair two: Ravenpaw and Sandstorm
These two apprentices trained together in thunderclan, growing to be great hunters and growing close to their clanmates. While Ravenpaw had to leave due to a certain shadowy tormentor, Sandstorm would grow to be invaluable to her clan in leaf-bare, as the best hunter in the clan.
Pair three: Cinderpelt and Brightheart.
These two sisters were injured while serving their clan, and both fought with fears that they wouldnt be able to serve their clan. Despite this, they rose above their clanmates in terms of sheer determination and strength, becoming foundational cats to their clan!
im almost done with set 3, ill post l8r i am so tired

Favourite Fireheart ships 👀? His just so shippable and I wanna hear your thoughts.
OOOH WHERE TO START!
I love so many Fireheart ships. In no particular order:
Fireheart x Tigerclaw: Yesyes it's one of the OG delicious ships, but it still has my heart. Whether it's angsty, toxic, fluffy, loving, AU or canon, it's *chef's kiss*. Seriously tho, the options are endless and decadent! Canon!Tigerclaw manipulating Firepaw and dragging him to the dark side? Evil!Fireheart using Tigerclaw's actions as a scapegoat ("He's so evil, maybe I can frame him for my murders and use his reputation to keep myself clean")? Lonely Firepaw needing a father figure and leaning towards Tiger, even though it might (or might not) put him in a difficult spot? Fireheart admiring Tigerclaw and not realizing why he gets so flustered when he sees Tigerclaw in combat? Firepaw growing jealous of Ravenpaw having Tiger as a mentor, even as Fire acknowledges that Ravenpaw wants nothing to do with his mentor? Yesyesyes, all of it is good!
Fireheart x Cinderpelt (and then Cinderheart): Unrequited love + star crossed lovers + pining + broken dreams? OH YEAH! Cinderpaw had a crush on Fireheart from the start, and she was secretly determined to become his mate once she became a warrior. Then her leg was crushed by a monster and her dreams were ruined. Not only the dreams of having Fireheart as her mate, but her dreams of even having him close to her. As a medicine cat, she was now forbidden of any kind of romantic love, not just her adoration for her former mentor. Now with multiple things keeping her from Fireheart, she reluctantly accepts her plight and lives her life just admiring him from afar, or at most, as a friend. Then she dies and she's reborn, given another chance to achieve what she's always wanted. The new, second Cinderpaw grows up with an intense interest in her leader, even though she has no idea why she feels so strongly. He's a good leader and she respects him, but her body tingles with jealousy when she sees him with Sandstorm. She watches him with sharp eyes and a pumping heart, unsure why she feels the way she does. It's almost all-consuming. She becomes a warrior and is dubbed 'Cinderheart', after the medicine cat who gave her life to let Cinderheart and her siblings be safely born. Over the next few moons she learns that she was reincarnated and she regains the memories of her old life. Now with a strong body, a warrior name, and no Starclan-damned rules about mates, she can have what she wants. Who she wants. How she goes about it is up to debate! It could be obsession, or love, or a quiet pining that grows and eventually explodes. Depends on what plot/theme you'd want!
Fireheart x Spottedleaf: This one is a bit 'basic'/common, but I like it regardless. The canon is neat, but I think I prefer mine with a bit of angst. Firepaw, freshly joined to Thunderclan and pretty much alone, is approached by a kind, sweet-smelling she-cat who comforts him and gives advice. She encourages Firepaw's interest in her. The power imbalance would be unnoticed by Firepaw ("She's so mature and beautiful, I can't believe she likes me! This is amazing!") but others might notice or comment. However Spottedleaf is sweet, kind, and a wonderful medicine cat, so not many pay attention or oppose her interest in Firepaw.
Fireheart x Graystripe: I'm a sucker for best friends also being lovers. There are two flavours that could be radical! 1) Graystripe sneaks off to meet Silverstream as in canon, and Fireheart covers for him. But even so, Fireheart watches longingly and wishes that Graystripe would love him rather than a Riverclan cat. He can't bring himself to hate Silverstream, he knows that she's done nothing wrong. She makes Graystripe happy and vice versa, and Fireheart wouldn't sabotage that. When Silverstream dies, Fireheart doesn't know what to say—especially since he almost feels happy. The realization shocks him and makes him doubt himself, and he wonders if he truly is Graystripe's friend. After all, a proper friend wouldn't have a sick sense of relief that his best friend's lover died. It makes his skin crawl and maybe he retreats from Graystripe, becoming slightly distant even though his friend needs his support now more than ever. Graystripe is confused and leans more on Fireheart in response, seeking support and love from his best friend. Then comes a potential fork in the story-telling road. Is Fireheart a good-hearted cat? What does he do in response? Or for more flavour, does Fireheart genuinely feel happy about Silverstream's death? Is he unrepentant and uncaring that Graystripe is upset, as long as his competition is out of the picture? Or did Fireheart perhaps have something to do with Silverstream's death?
Fireheart x Ashfur: This one is a bit out there, but imagine! "Squirrelflight rejected me and I'm heartbroken. My leader notices and offers support and a shoulder to lean on. I eventually let my leader see into my inner thoughts and my worries, and Fireheart assures me that I'm a valued member of my clan, whether his daughter notices it or not." But then Ashfur notices that Squirrelflight is angered by his closeness with Firestar. She demands to know what Ashfur is up to, but he says that he isn't 'up to' anything. However Squirrelflight's response makes Ashfur consider his options. Mainly, the option to infuriate Squirrelflight and spite her by Ashfur growing even closer to Firestar. It also gives Ashfur a bit of wiggleroom in his own mind, as this gives him the chance to say "I'm not truly this in love with Firestar, it's just a bit of pretending to anger Squilf" and distance himself from the emotion and admiration that truly grows in him, each time he hangs out with Firestar and shares tongues.
Hmmmm do I have any other ideas off the top of my head...
OH WAIT I HAVE ONE MORE
Fireheart x Scourge: I saw a fanart of Rusty joining Bloodclan as a kit and it made me so happy omg. Imagine Rusty being accepted into Bloodclan and made into Scourge's protegee/adopted son. The thought of Rusty trying hard and working to be the best that he can be, and Scourge grows more and more proud of him. Perhaps later on, when Tigerclaw comes into the picture, Scourge is murmuring to himself about what might happen to Bloodclan. Rusty is sitting nearby, as usual, and listening. Scourge doesn't reveal his worries to many cats, but Bone and Rusty are two who know most about him. As things get rockier for Bloodclan (it's been a while since I read that arc so my ideas for the specifics are a bit rusty, pardon the pun), Scourge grows a bit more worried. He wants his clan to be the strongest it can be. Eventually Tigerclaw approaches Scourge and suggests an alliance, and Rusty doesn't let that slide. Some random tom appearing out of nowhere and trying to convince Scourge to join him? No way! Rusty approaches Scourge and demands (as best he can) that they become mates. Scourge is shocked—He's practically Rusty's dad! But Rusty rolls his eyes and dismisses that comment. He's admired Scourge from the start, and he's an adult now, he can choose what to do! It takes some convincing, but Scourge and Rusty become partners and face off with Tigerclan together, not bothering to give Tigerclaw the benefit of becoming allies. (or perhaps they still team up, but Scourge's/Rusty's two-cat leadership gives them more power, and Tigerclaw struggles to be the top-dog.

BB!Firestar
[ID: Firestar from Warrior Cats with his tail on fire. The text reads, "Ssoen kafyar-ul ulnyams ssarshefpa," which is "Fire Alone will save the Clans" in Clanmew]
The man, the myth, the legend. Bringer of change, righter of ancient wrongs, ancestral patron of fire and of breaking bad habits.
Clanmew Name: Kafyarbabi, Kafyarshai [Wildfire + Heartbeating = Behaves like a wildfire.]
Alignment: ThunderClan
Relationships: Mates (platonic) - Sandstorm, Onestar (ex) Family - Squirrelflight, Leafpool, Cloudtail (nephew), Princess, Jayfeather, Lionblaze, Hollyleaf Mentors - Bluestar, Spottedleaf, Yellowfang Friends - EVERYONE. Graystripe, Deerfoot, Iceheart (Scourge), Brokenstar (post-death), Longtail, Cinderpelt
Chelford cats do not track paternity. It's not known who Firestar's father is, and it's probably not Jake anyway.
Firestar is aromantic. He is platonic co-parents with Sandstorm. He did not realize he was aromatic when he was seeing Onewhisker.
Other Clans consider him nosy. He's always trying to help out others, even when their sense of pride makes them hesitate to accept it.
Incorrigible. If he thinks he's right, you can't stop him. He also thinks it's important to make sure his Clan is well cared-for and doesn't give in to fear.
His personality is very passionate and outgoing.
Bonefall TPB:
To begin with, Rusty had to learn a new language to join the Clans. Clanmew and Townmew are sister languages but there was still a learning curve.
Spottedleaf was a big sister figure to him, she taught him how to connect with StarClan, what the rules are, and how to break them.
Bluestar left a deep impact on him as his mentor, she was the inventor of the mercy and grace which comes to define Fire Alone.
Like canon, he opposes Tigerclaw at every step once he realizes the cruelty within him.
Unlike canon, Better Bones is about having a strong anti-authoritarian stance, and to do that there's even MORE allies that Firestar connects with.
Oakfur, Stumptail, and Deerfoot in ShadowClan, and Mosspelt and Dawnflower in RiverClan are all cats who work directly with Fireheart, and were at times his Aftergathering buddies.
The end of Bonefall TPB is the battle with BloodClan, where he spares Scourge by defeating him honorably, ripping his collar off and forcing him to call a retreat.
The thesis of the arc is that Fire Alone can save the Clans because it's a radical change to the xenophobic, authoritarian culture of the Forest Four.
He lost a life in the process, from a huge slash across his chest and shoulder. It's meant to look like a mayoral sash, of sorts. His first deputy was Whitestorm, and after his death, his second was Longtail.
After the battle, he went a step further by bringing the collar back to Scourge as a gift of goodwill. He offered to uphold whatever he could of Tigerstar's Impossible Deal, and was shocked at the simple solution. BloodClan simply wanted things they couldn't get in Chelford; timber, glue, flowers, new types of foods they'd never tasted before.
Together, they forged a trade route that promised a bright future. During the destruction of the forest, Scourge eventually decided to lend his strength to the Clans for their Journey, eventually deciding to retire with them.
Scourge was eventually given the name Iceheart, so that he may live out his days with them in quiet peace.
Firestar's Quietus:
Brokenstar is the guardian spirit of the 5th tree of Fourtrees, which blighted and died after SkyClan's exile
His spirit cannot rest until SkyClan is safe. Firestar gets freakish dreams, Runningnose contacts him, and brings him to the Moonstone to figure this out.
It's there that he learns about Brokenstar trying to break into StarClan to make them do something. On learning that they just let an entire Clan get exiled, Firestar tells them to shove it and agrees to help.
Runningnose gives him a very emotional and significant acorn necklace which channels Brokenstar-- this item becomes important many arcs later.
Broken and Fire go back and forth a lot on what SkyClan should look like, what it needs, and how they should rebuild. The lesson learned is that SkyClan needed help, but can handle its own destiny.
Leafstar and the Warriors of SkyClan are not a Clan like the Forest Four. They will do things their own way, and that is a beautiful thing.
Brokenstar's final action is possessing Firestar's body (establishing the rules of possession for TBC later) to eradicate the rats; which were the earthbound, tormented souls of SkyClan's ancestors.
That's how Brokenstar and Firestar become the saviors of SkyClan
Bonefall Po3, Cruel Season, and Bonefall OotS:
In the episodic revamp of Po3, Firestar is aiding the other Clans through their struggles with the new environment, and helping to raise his grandchildren to be honorable cats.
So, his role is essentially as both the Clan's leader, and as Grandpaw Firestar.
His deputy is Brackenfur, who was promoted after Firestar and Brambleclaw agree that he isn't ready for deputyship yet after his lapse of judgement with Hawkfrost.
Brackenfur is killed towards the end of Po3 in the Battle of the False Eclipse, a trick from Sol, God of Chaos, a preview of the night that is to come where the dead can walk the earth.
Brambleclaw succeeds him.
The Fire Scene is in the in-between book between Po3 and OotS; Cruel Season.
It was started by Whiskernose of WindClan, aided and abetted by Thornclaw and Breezepelt, as an intentional distraction so they could get Firestar alone to kill him on the Dark Forest's orders.
He has one last big scene after his death; coming down from Silverpelt when Jayfeather summons StarClan warriors to fight the Dark Forest.
After winning a rematch with Scourge, Tigerstar finally gets the battle he's always wanted, and Firestar deals with him once and for all.
His Legacy:
He becomes known as the Patron of Fire and Breaking Bad Habits. He's invoked frequently during wet days when it's hard to start a cooking fire.
Firekin are renowned as a family of heroes, something that can cause a lot of pressure for its youngest members.
Fire Alone and Traditionalism are the competing ideologies by the modern era, with support of Thistle Law being kept very quiet.

Long awaited Emberstar and Softheart aka Fireheart and Princess join Windclan au updated family tree is here.
Alot has been changed~
Softheart and Onewhisker are mates. Though they don’t become mates straight away. Cloudtail and Galekit are their first litter and then Kestrelflight, Harespring and Heathertail are their second. After Cloudtail and Galekit which were born from a small fling they had. Onewhisker isn’t sure what he wants and after being with Smoke for a short time resulting in Darktail, Lynxfrost and their siblings birth does he realize he loves Softheart and he was an idiot for not realizing sooner.
Harespring is trans and has Ivypool and Dovewing. Crowfeather is their father and they are mates. Crowfeather was with Squirrelflight but after realizing that Lionblaze isn’t his son but Squirrelflight’s and Shrewhearts(Shrewpaw) he ended things with her. Crow had been with Feather which Jayfeather was born and then with Squirrel which Hollyleaf and Breezepelt were born.
I kind of swapped roles with Squirrel and Leaf. Instead of Leaf having kits and Squirrel raising them as her own Leaf took Lionblaze and claimed him as her’s and Mothwing’s.
Squirrel and Shrew met at a Gathering and became good friends it wasn’t until the journey to the Sundrown Place that they grew soo close. This is also my own Shrewpaw lives Au built in as well. Shrewpaw survived but like Cinderpelt his hind leg is damaged but he still goes to become a warrior with the help of Cinderpelt who still got injured.
I’ll go more into Thunderclan in this Au but I don’t have much other than maybe making Ravenpaw the Fireheart. Instead of him going to live with Barely he does go against Tigerclaw who killed Redtail. Ravenpaw wants to tell the truth but Tigerclaw had already began to spread rumors and lies about him discrediting him completely. His part of the story is him becoming more confident and trying to expose Tigerclaw for his lies. He becomes Cinderpaw’s apprentice. He and Graystripe are the ones who brings Windclan home. His warrior name will be Ravenheart. Maybe he’ll still be Barly’s mate maybe he’ll join Thunderclan but I’m still working on that part.
One thing I know for sure is that after the dogs where Brightpaw gets badly injured and Swiftpaw dies. Bluestar renames her Lostface still and she leaves Thunderclan where she meets Cloudtail who tells her she’s the most beautiful she-cat he’s ever seen and she joins Windclan and becomes his mate.

gonna talk about a thief in thunderclan
i love slice of life stuff but. it didn't really show much of it. we get moments of brightheart calling cinderpelt her sister but there's no reference of her being thornclaw's and brackenfur's sister also really wished there was more frostfur :( Brightheart keeps mentioning her and Frostfur just never shows up other than to get one sentence congratulating her pregnancy. What's up with that
ive seen ppl call the fact the thief was just an owl a bit anticlimactic but i thought it was neat. shows that not every bad thing that happens is from some greater evil. if anything im surprised something like that hasn't happened before. cover your food. these guys would never survive walking a boardwalk with fries
one storytelling element i did not like is graystripe like as a whole
His response at BrightCloud after knowing they didn't tell him about the prey thief was weird considering every cat knew prey was disappearing. the gouges in the ground could be seen by anyone. the fact it took two warriors and not even the deputy to sit and think about "hm what could possibly leave this claw marks and take all our food" it was also really strange how this just didn't seem like an issue the cats cared about. Usually prey is a big deal and the fact it just going missing unnoticed and no cat is talking about it besides "hey where'd all the food go" and just leaving it at that (Also Cloudtail didn't seem to care either ?? Something has important as food going missing just didn't mater with any cat other than Brightheart ??)
these r the same guys that will pummel another clan cat if they so think they hunted over the border. if there's anything a cat shouldn't mess with is their food supply- it seemed thunderclan could care less about their food vanishing
another thing. ur telling me brightheart first bonding moment with longtail was after he got injured and idk not after the events of swiftpaw? Despite the controversy over their conversation, it feel like its such a lackluster reason for that to be the thing that brings them together. The book shows Brightheart's only issue with not trusting Longtail is because he's a clan mate and not idk someone you'd think she'd be acquainted with ? Someone that grieved over the same cat she did. And it seems so offensive for the book to say "oh longtail was friends with tigerstar that's why brightheart feels like she can't trust him" and not mention that tigerstar was responsible for leading the dogs to thunderclan. Longtail being blinded was the thing that was meant to assure Brightheart that he could be trusted ?? That's crazy
It's not like they forgot about Swiftpaw. He made an appearance, he was there. The writers just didn't seem to care to show a connection.
