Hiii! I'm so glad you like my silly battle cats! To answer your question: yes! Tangle and Whisper do exist!

This is Goldenwhisper and Twirltail! Twirltail was originally from River Colony, but moved over to Wind Colony to live with her mate Goldenwhisper! They're both sweethearts! The two became inseparable after they met at a Gathering and started sneaking off to go on adventures together! They both now know eachother so well you can never spot these two alone!

They are my blorbos and my sillies and I love them so much!!! Thanks for the ask!!

Ok I lied, I'm posting today lol. I think I'll post a section at a time, since there's enough here that each verse is pretty much a seperate piece.

Real happy with how this came out, I wanted to communicate a sort of medieval tapestry look and experimented a lot through this pmv! I chose a limited palette for the backgrounds of each verse, but I really enjoyed the contrast of the brighter characters too.

There was virtually no research done on wether the clothing/weapons/armour fit the setting/vaugely defined time period, but I'm fine with that lmao, I think it still communicates what I wanted it to.

I really love the "Tigerstar is Swiftpaw's dad" AU. It doesn't change that much storywise, but it just makes it really tragic with Tigerstar sending the dogs that kill him and him wanting to prove himself.

To be honest I really thought for the longest time he WAS Swiftpaw's dad.

God... Tiger spying on Gatherings and not seeing Swiftpaw there. Overhearing apprentices gossip.

"Did you hear what happened to Brightpaw? I hope she doesn't get an infection."

"Better than what happened to Swiftpaw."

But... What happened to Swiftpaw? Where was he? Was he hurt?

Tigerstar getting his 9 lives and seeing his son standing in the crowd, glaring at him with a look that chokes him. He sees the glittering scars and puts 2 and 2 together. That was his son, his baby, his precious boy so full of potential and life and so stubborn and proud. Why was he not given a name? Why did Bluestar treat his son like this? She gave a name to the bastard kittypet child, but denied his son? She's to blame of course, not him, he would have named him Swiftstrike or Swiftfang, something respectable and powerful. His son... Sitting there with his other lost child, lost so young, they both look so unhappy...

Seeing Swiftpaw amongst his own victims as he keeps dying over and over again. Begging them each time to help him. Help me Swiftpaw, please, please, you love me, I'm your father you need to do something you need to save me please Swiftpaw please don't let me die I'm your papa I love y

Watching his other sons, another child of his lost too young, Tadpole was so much like him too, fearless and strong.

Comparing Hawkfrost to Swiftpaw in the horrible way that parents do. Come on Hawkfrost that was sloppy, Swiftpaw had that technique down and never left apprenticeship, you'll avenge me and your brother, Firestar was deputy he could have said something, it would have saved your brother's life.

Seeing Swiftpaw during the Great Battle giving a blessing to Firestar. Realizing he gave Firestar a life and just... Losing it. Firestar stole his son from him, and let him die, and his perfect son still gave him a life?! Why?!

Oh it all just goes perfectly.

Although... It does give Tigerstar the widest family tree EVER.

Lynxkit, Swiftpaw, Brambleclaw, Tawnypelt, Tadpole, Mothwing and Hawkfrost. Oof, gift giving events have gotta be a nightmare.

leafpool fretted over her sister’s “kits” so much that thunderclan endearingly started referring to her as the 3’s second mother.

It would make sense, since of course leafpool couldn’t have kits of her own, so her nephews and niece would fit perfectly into that role for her.

And like- squirrelflight obviously didn’t care in the slightest because of the love she had for her sister. Plus it gave her the chance to stretch her legs whenever the other queens were busy.

I read some headcanons/aus of Curlfeather being Reedwhisker’s daughter and I love the idea so much; the idea of Frostpaw struggling under their legacy and intergenerational trauma, Curlfeather killed by the dogs she set on her own father.

I had fun with the designs for this! Particularly Misty/Reed’s, which I decided not to reference. Experimented with lineart, I think I like the thicker/smooth look for this :)

thoughts abt my WC Medieval au...

First off- Im thinking about calling it Warriors: Knights and Kingdoms (W:K&K for short)

Second lemme ramble about the royal monarchy drama im thinkin up for Thunderclan... Thunder Kingdom? Kingdom of Thundering Skies?? idk -

I am planning on using close to normal royalty succession rules- ie., the children of the king/queen are next in line, then nephews and nieces are, so on and so forth. One change is that Monarchs are able to adopt children and those children can be chosen as their heir (though it is very controversial).

Sunstar in this au is Pinestar's younger brother, he was made King after Pine ran off to be a peasant or some shit... Sunstar then married Moonflower and her kits (Blue and Snow) became possible heirs to the throne. Previous to this Thistleclaw (Pinestar's son) was the only heir (he had not become king bec he was a child at the time!). However Sunstar preferred Blue and Snow over Thistle as possible heirs, despite not actually being of the royal bloodline.

Blue was specifically lined up to be the next queen HOWEVER she became pregnant (out of wedlock GASP) and she feared that Sun would pass her up for Thistleclaw (who would be a terrible king) because of this. So Blue gave up her kit(s? I haven't decided if imma let all these cats have 3 babies at a time yet) and Blue is made Queen.

Thistle is PISSED about this, he believes that his rightful position as king was stolen by someone who was not even of true royal blood. He raises his sons, especially his oldest (Tigerclaw) telling them this, and emphasizing the importance of their bloodline. Thistle passes on the want for the throne onto Tigerclaw... and as Tiger is Bluestar's nephew through Snowfur and Blue never had any (known) children he is the next heir to the throne. And so spawns his attempts to assassinate his aunt so he can take over the kingdom...

(oh ya also Bluestar ends up adopting Fireheart so he inherits the throne as like a 25 yr old lol)
