Soooooo some more news on this hellscape we call earth. Wikimediq is refusing to comply with the uk online safety law and is in a court case with the uk government.

Last I checked the uk petition to repeal this law hit the 100k milestone so they'll have to discuss in parliament. Keep signing/sharing to bring that number up higher.

Considering disability wc stickers of disabled characters whos profits would go split between me, currently disabled, and a disability charity. i would need to figure out a few logistics first. But.

I know for sure i want to have Jayfeather, Briarlight, Deadfoot, Crookedstar, Cinderpelt, Brightheart, and Snowkit. Should i add any minor disabled characters too, or only these main 7?

that and also 'female characters can do bad things and be criticized for them both in-universe and outside of the universe and treating every character like a special "girl character" whos treated like a child or someone who cant make her own decisions vs a male character is Also sexist and bad; its good to call out unfair hate and biases and stuff but its also ok to not like a character, and nobody should actively seek you out and harrass you for liking a character you dont like; this is definately not about any community in particular (yes it is i am lying)"

the thing about being a complex woman character enjoyer is that it's not about 'everyone should like this character regardless of their own history and background' and more just 'fandom is way too intense and moralizing about their hatred for this character in a way that they wouldn't if they weren't a woman, and if you feel that way and care, fiction is a great place to re-examine your own biases'.

like geez i think artists should have the freedom to design cats however they want as long as its not. like, a swastika or whatever but. Like. The fandom is so thoughtful when it comes to so many disabilities and cultures and stuff but for some reason jay gets the glassy stare white pupil looking in two different directions treatment all the time; if the artist even gives him pupils, which the wc team does not, and i thoroughly disagree with because 1. it looks stupid 2. it contridicts several of his earlier po3 descriptions where cats will Forget he is blind. i feel like its hard to forget that if someone HAS NO PUPILS. and 3. people with bad vision have pupils. like. they usually have those.

and like i feel its a Bit rude to distill the old 'you cant see? so you must have fucked up eyes!!!" into a warrior cat, who is mentioned many times to have Very Normal Eyes. just seems really weird to me and like, kinda offensive in a weird way?
