i think more neurodivergent people should practice saying "hey please only say yes to me infodumping to you about my favorite things when you have the emotional capacity for it, don't force yourself to or it defeats the purpose and if you hide it you'll grow resentment unnecessarily and if i ever find out i'll feel incredibly betrayed" to loved ones, even if they also are autistic/adhd/etc. it is an important boundary that is in OUR control and would radically change our sense of trust with others. we can be authentic AND build trust if we communicate effectively with other people
this can also apply to passionate ppl in general, and to their loved ones who think that making a martyr of themself so their loved one can ramble to them beyond what's comfortable makes them a better partner. it actually often does not. the only way we can learn to trust that you actually want to listen to us when we ask is when you say no sometimes too. otherwise we'll go into a guilt loop everytime, bc we don't have the data to prove that you would tell us if it was too much. i think even without neurodivergency being involved ppl are likely to martyrize themselves for their loved ones not realizing that being a martyr AT ALL will ALWAYS backfire at your loved ones. it never just affects you, and it always impedes genuine connection and trust. even i have been guilty of letting my autistic friends ramble at me until i was exhausted, and then straining beyond that bc it felt too rude to tell them, even when it was negatively affecting our emotional connection on my end. but communication is key, folks. it's a hard habit to learn but one we all must learn, and both sides need to do it

INVERTED!Poppy!!!
Finally made her up, I was just putting it off and putting off designing her but then I took my pen, my new laptop and drew it, now look at her!!!
Alright let's start shall we?
Design:
"OMG FANATICAL WHY DOES POPPY LOOKS LIKE A FRISK-" Shhhhh, you need to calm down, i'll explain everything;
Alright, bare with me: The original Poppy mentions in an animation, that she's talking to her therapist, that people usually thinks she's a Chara, but she's none! And I think, I theorize, I suppose that the reason why she looks like a Chara is bc an Frisk was drawing her (you know her lore?), so supposing that the whole concept of Invertedverse is that the original universe Underswap, that Frisk who drew her is an Chara, so if the Frisk drew a Chara in the original, here the Frisk that is now a Chara would draw a Frisk....... so, that's the logic here.;
Even though Poppy is still not a Frisk nor a Chara, but I don't think I translated that into her design, maybe I'll redo it sometime.
Her clothings are intriguing. It's her original teenage/adult clothings but with some green and a purple cloak or cape, whatever that is. This cloak represents her importance inside OmegaTimeline, that reminds me;
View from back Ω:
Made it with wind because it's cool, plus, her silhouette is cool too
Story:
Core was the "ruler" of Omega Timeline, everyone would look for them when there was a problem and needed help, everybody trusted them, but they put Poppy on their place... Core is a very mischievous character, no one really knows why they put Poppy in charge.
Omega citizens theorize that the reason is because Core was lazy, or that they didn't like the attention, or maybe they wanted to focus fully on recruting people, even thought after Poppy got in charge Core was rarely seen interacting with people and also the numbers of new survivors to get to the OT decreased.
Poppy tries her best to help remain peace within Omega Timeline, even if it requires all of her energies, thought she could really use some help, she thinks that the reason why her parent is more absent while she was in charge was because they knew she could everything alone, and that she should do it.
She doesn't have many friends, and the old ones got far away because she's too busy working signing papers, solving problems, financing projects, etc, etc.
Character:
She suffers. That's the truth, she just needs a vacation and a hug from her girlfriend.
She doesn't like parties... just thought it was important to mention.
Poppy doesn't like her parent, almost hates them even, they seem so irresponsible, imature and a coward, after just letting their daughter in charge of a (practically) country in surprise, it's expected for her to feel that way
Poppy has to be the clueless character in the whole Invertedverse, the reason is that she's so busy at work, or too busy being tired, and she usually gets information on what's going on from Core, but Core have been very silent lately, wonder why...
She has the hobby of playing board games, dancing and origamis!
She likes to cook more for others than herself
Sometimes she would visit the Madame T's orphanage, mainly to see Cadence and her friends, but also to donate and all of that things famous ppl do in orphanages idk.
Even thought she does a lot of hard work sometimes she'd take credit over someone elses work unintentionally, i mean, she's kind of the president.
She can't lie, like literally, maybe it's just her morals, or maybe it's a supernatural force idk.
She also keeps taping her fingers in hard surfaces all the time, I think it's anxiety.
Oh yeah, her full name is still Poppy Marusina, but she can also be called Iris Marusina, or maybe I'll change that to her original name, idk

˗ˏˋ ꒰ YOU HAVE ENTERED TEYVAT ꒱ ˎˊ˗ you got into teyvat
what is life like for a Descended from our world in this hell ? ?
✧ warnings —fem !! reader, nothing. Just mentioning survival..butchering ?? ✧ a/n — ..this is not a fic with a char x reader.. I wrote this so that some ppl, would understand that if they really got into teyvat, all their fav characters would not fall in love with them at once lol. I tried to write everything as naturalistically as possible..NO I FORGOT ABOUT PHONES !!
Actually, I just wanted to speculate - I forgot to mention phones and such, but oh well.
I really think that life in Teyvat for a Descended from our world would be just hellish torture - yes, of course, you will get used to it, but that will be after the adaptation period. I would like to travel around Teyvat, but in reality, most likely, I would sit in the city and be paranoid about going out for the time being.. You cursed those moments when you dreamed of getting to Teyvat and starting dating some Zhong Li, Al-Haytham or Diluc (God forbid)
Life turned out to be no fairy tale and you had to achieve everything yourself, without parents or friends by your side. Yes, your little companion (your choice) was with you, but it was more of a pleasant addition, so as not to go crazy from loneliness.
You knew a lot and it was very hard to remain silent when Kaeya or Jean explained to you the things that you had learned long ago. It was because you did everything automatically and without explanations that many smart people began to suspect you - Rosaria, Kaeya and Diluc among them, and that already means a lot. Sometimes you are afraid to trust, because you know how they treat you.
Even if you tried to hide it, believe me, sooner or later you will say something unnecessary. And only the Archons know how others will react to the fact that you know the history of the kingdom of Sal Vindagnir or Kaenri'ah.
This is why you train too often to become stronger, dreaming of reaching the level of deities - perhaps from the outside you will seem like a fanatic, but you are so afraid not to live, but to survive in this world. Even if you are a super-lazy person, Teyvat will bring you down to earth (in the literal sense of the word).
In order to earn at least something, you did not immediately go on an adventure - you are calmer if at least a few mora coins are in your pocket in case of something. Lisa and traveler helped you find a job and from the moment you appeared in Teyvat, you not only diligently studied the language, writing and their rules, but also worked. Mostly, this was work in Diluc's tavern or looking after cattle, sometimes you babysat children and carried out various unofficial assignments. At that time, you did not have the vision, and your powers were at the level of an ordinary person, so you could not join the guild yet.
At first, guards were assigned to you, or Kaeya himself, being free, would go outside of Mondstadt with you. It was awkward that you were being coddled like that, but you understood that it was necessary - any Hilichurl or even a slime could beat you. You still remember how one of the last ones burned you badly while picking mushrooms…
And don't think that you were an important person in a good way - the Slimes don't show up in Teyvat every day, who knows what you're capable of…
At first, when kind old lady wjo name Inga took you in, you cried at night, biting your lips and covering your mouth with your hands so that the old woman wouldn't hear. And only your sweet companion was a witness to your hysterics. You were so homesick and yearned for the important person who had been stolen by an unseen force.
Yes, Teyvat was really beautiful - picturesque views, simpler people, especially in Mondstadt and Sumeru, interesting situations and adventures every day, but… Home is more important. You were happy, but more upset. This is not how you imagined being in a time warp - not knowing the language, laws, an unknown future, danger at every corner…
Time passed differently than in the game - the Traveler with Paimon often visited your friends, and the events of Liyue were just starting to unfold. That's how you met, even receiving some help. And from that moment on, the hostility between Paimon and your companion began..
So, hard work began to harden you and you approached Diluc with a request to teach you defense. Raghwingd hesitated a little, but agreed, although there were difficulties with his busy schedule. When Diluc could not attend training, he asked Noelle or Amber to help you, and if things were not going well at all, then any other knight.
Days of hard training, receiving the vision during an attack by a crowd of Hilichurls and Mitachurls helped you get back on your feet. You even began to understand a little what people wanted to talk to you about (before that, your little Campanion served as a translator and diplomat) and learned to formulate complete sentences. Writing was lame, but you did it, there was no limit to your happiness!
You still cried at night…
Gradually, you began to get out of the city on your own and could even use your skills and strength in the fight against Mitachurls and Hilichurls! even with treasure thieves.. But you had to be not so sad at the sight of a dead person whom you killed with your own hands.
So, you set off on a journey.
Survival in the wild was a living hell for you and not as easy as it seemed at first glance - dangerous animals, monsters and weather conditions almost knocked you down. You carried out assignments and simultaneously investigated how you could have gotten into your world. And when progress began, you became a full-fledged traveler.
You made many acquaintances, but that's not what we're talking about now.
You were often afraid to fight monsters, and when there were situations when you helped the Traveler defeat stronger creatures… You gradually began to get scars, but this served as a reminder that although you ended up in a fairy tale, this fairy tale is dangerous and cruel.
You had to work hard to become quite a famous traveler in all of Teyvat, and you even had the honor of traveling with Lumine/Aether!!
By the way, some characters, although you know their history, repel you with their actions - now you understand that these are not just beautiful pictures, but living people with their vices and their own cockroaches in their heads. For example, at your first meeting with Scaramouche - he wanted to get rid of you by setting his Fatui agents on you, he was cruel, more cunning than in the game. And the same Tartaglia, on the one hand, you liked spending time with his brother and with him, but on the other hand, he is the harbinger of Fatui, and who knows what is on his mind.
You found a lot of treasures that you ran to sell - from there you get money for normal food (although you are used to cooking on a fire), an overnight stay in a hotel and some rest (your companion mumbles when every time you visit Inazuma, you rush to the hot springs). But you are not always so lucky, so sometimes you enjoy fruits and hunt (which, by the way, most likely ends with your stomach rumbling with hunger).
By the way, you don't just get meat from boars, did you know? Butcher the carcass.
You have to have connections, the most useful of which are like Bei Dou and Ningguang (although you'll have to do something outstanding for Li Yue to pay attention). BeiDou, for example, can take you to Inazuma for a small amount of mora, or for free if you're on a closer relationship.
How many times were you nearly killed by lightning on Seirai Island? How many times did your sweet (no) companion freak out and pull you half-dead out of dangerous situations? I can't count them, really.
The Wanderer taught you to write much better at the request of the Nahida - you got along well with these two, surprisingly. Although you had some skirmishes with the wanderer recently… And he's not a very patient teacher. Should I remind you how many times he scolded you and hit you on the back of the head like a guilty child? Damn it! Why not tignari?..
Once (who are you telling - almost no one believes and laughs) you even spent the night with the Hilichurls. They are warm, by the way. You were very lucky that you came across a friendly tribe, although it was hard to fall asleep because of the fear of being strangled in your sleep.
In general, for many people, including those well known to us as Jean, Diluc, the traveler, Tartaglia, Tignari, the Wanderer and many others, you are strange - you can always blurt out something eccentric, swear and so on. Many even, especially Cyno,Itto, Sethos.. Kaeya Tartaglia and Hu tao like your ridiculous jokes from your world.. But in many ways, whether it's a mask or not, you behave friendly and playful - it's much easier not to see the vices of this world.
But sometimes you still cry at night..

I wouldn't consider myself a analysist, because I'm not big brained nor have good enough memory for that; but like (and this may be my bias speaking) double life changed life!Pearl so much in the way it just amplified her already existing traits. She's very sheep in a wolf's clothing to me especially after dl made her even more disenchanted with the inherent isolation of later life sessions (what w/ being forced into that by day one of dl, immediately distrusted at a level only just barely below reds themselves). Like I could be getting the characterazation completely wrong, as I don't remember the seasons very well, but Pearl's playstyle very much feels like she's just capitalizing on her "hidden" chaos, being the kindest ally but also down to be unhinged when the moment calls for it, losing that kindness so fast in double life from being rejected and never getting it back nearly as strong as before. I feel like life!Pearl has gotten so use to the games and Watcher schennagins at this point that she just leans hard into the premise and her innate chaos <2 (can you tell she's my favourite character lol /silly)
Post-DL!Pearl I love her especially! Do I think she’s even more chaotic than she was in DL? No but for sure DL changed her like Whwhwh permanently she’s my fave winner bc of how prevalent that development is, to make those choices on her terms - not bc the game tells her to. Her POVs are very refreshing bc -in compare to everyone else- she’s so relaxed (bc she’s won before), and she makes it clear she’s not here to win (she already has)- she wants to have fun and uplift her friends :]
Her around ppl that aren’t her teammates is… a wildcard- but the trust in her allies is unshakeable. she reminds me of a mentor figure to them she wants what’s best for the team…. I don’t like the way ppl have been undermining the Mounders this season bc they aren’t attached at the hip 24/7, to Pearl they mean a lot to her SHE chose them and vice versa. so much that they’ll mutually go do things behind the other’s back that would help them survive in the long run and she trusts them with her LIFE. This especially between Pearl and Bdubs and their allyship makes me so delirious evrrytime she brings him up I’m getting Nosy Neighbours deja vu :[
“They’re Mounders (Joel and Bdubs), they would never betray me like that.” -Pearl ep6
“You can’t just TAKE him (Bdubs), he’s a Mounder.” -Pearl ep5 in the building competition
[the whole thing with Joel and Bdubs wasting their yellow-life guesses for Pearl ep6]
“I’m not here to win. I here for Bdubs to win.” -Pearl ep6
“I can’t. I can’t… she’s (Pearl) my biggest cheerleader. I can’t do that do her.” -Bdubs ep6
That part in SL Session 6 when Pearl, her dogs, and Bdubs hid in the skeleton farm away from the Wither/Warden fight, and when a red name (Martyn) found them- I wonder if she was ever scared the game would take Bdubs too like it did to BigB last season… I mean it already took Mumbo.
#ask stufff#stufff rambles#pearlescentmoon#bdubs#secret life spoilers#sorry. word vomit from last session and the whole slew of secret live tweeting#id say also that postDL Pearl and Grian are similar in regards to how they play (for fun)#the big difference is that clearly one is more competitive than the other#thus is represented much differently as much as I wish that fun-side of grian should be brought up more

i'm also worried that they will have nikki be just awful (i haven't read the books), there was that glimpse of racism with armand, maybe they make him abusive and cruel as hell while continuing to have lestat be "good" like we saw with the finale, no matter what lestat has done (or will do) the writers will never treat him the way they treat other characters who do evil shit, he is their main white guy, he simply must be, overall, "good" or at least everything bad gets ignored, because they need their white saviout and for loustat to be "good" (ie not toxic). with the loustat reunion in the finale, the whole thank you/i forgive you shit, it feels like the show wants loustat to be as wholesome as can be and what better way to show nikki as pure evil, so fans can go "see!! lestat is and always has been the innocent victim"
I don't think they're going to make Nicki an outright villain. I also don't think *the show* is gonna frame Lestat as being solely "good" but the fandom will always do it. The show has outright said that nobody is "good" or "bad" here in the first place. Just bcuz Loustat might be the relationship focus of the full story doesn't mean it's supposed to be without issue. They still have *so* many issues they haven't even touched yet.
Lestat has also canonically acknowledged that the drop was fucked. Ppl are ignoring that that's happened but it did. 2x8 did feel rushed in ways and overly trying to sell Loustat, but they're still not *together* at the end there. It's a step towards something but not a full healing. They have a long way to go still and we're about to see a lot worse from Lestat in some ways otherwise.
The books were always trying to sell this idea that didn't come across v well to me about Lestat being good or evil. She didn't give him enough consequences as the books went for any reason why he'd feel so much guilt about his "evilness." The show has done a better job of that so far and I trust they will still continue, especially given how AMC tends to tell rly good stories about complicated male characters. They p openly embrace all kinds of fucked up shit and don't try to excuse it at all.
Nickistat only works if it's a tragedy and it's only a tragedy if they're both kind of fucked. Lestat's actions directly make Nicki worse in some ways so Lestat *has* to do those things. Again, the fandom will excuse it all the way and coddle that fucker to death but I don't think the show will.
A lot of what this fandom struggles to understand is what a character's internal motivations are compared to what other characters are seeing from this person *externally.* Like, sure, Lestat can force Claudia to watch Charlie burn bcuz he knows the pain of loss, but do u think Claudia gives a shit about his trauma then? Even if she knew about it? U think she gives a shit when *she's* being the one traumatized now? But then ppl wanted to give her shit for how she presses on Nicki to Lestat during their chess game, like that was somehow *worse* than what he'd done already to her (and why she learned to act like this in the first place!). The antiblack motivations for judging that as harshly as it was too, this fandom can go fuck itself.
Also Nicki's racist comment towards Armand is just...some typical white ppl shit tbh. A lot of the fandom's issues in the first place are that white audiences aren't used to seeing white ppl like this, but this is how white ppl exist to everyone else who isn't white every day. Lestat's ignorance to racial issues is also a typical white thing. U see most of the fandom ignoring it too bcuz most ppl's understanding of what racism is comes from intentional slurs only and nothing else. A lot of racist shit isn't done intentionally or even consciously. We're all raised in a racist world, we absorb it and repeat a lot without question, across all races. Ppl have to get over seeing that as a "good" or "bad" thing itself too. It just is. A lot of things are inherently racist on purpose and we recycle those things all over bcuz that's the design. Although everything Lestat did in S1 was worse than Nicki's single slur moment, yet ppl are choosing to believe that's all a lie instead of taking time to look at it and learn from it about maybe their own racial biases.
#sry this kind of went all over the place lol#asks#interview with the vampire#amc interview with the vampire#interview with the vampire amc#iwtv amc#amc iwtv#lestat de lioncourt#nickistat#racism#fandom racism

Love in Translation Ep 8 (Finale) Stray Thoughts
Last week, we went off the deep end with Yang being kidnapped and being forced to work on a packaging warehouse in his skinny jeans to pay back his debts. He was able to smuggle messages out by changing delivery addresses and using the language learning code he taught Phumjai. The rest of the cast rallied around to support Phumjai when they didn't know what had happened to Yang, and also Phojai and Tag reconciled beautifully. Phumjai went rogue to try and rescue Yang alone, and now both have been captured.
1:09:32 finale!!
Phumjai really had no plan and got hurt.
Now Phojai and Tag have showed up with no plan. What the hell is this?
All these boys trying to sacrifice themselves only works because these characters have cared so much for each other consistently.
We're doing PPL in the middle of the crisis. I love it. We need 5 million baht. Perhaps if the audience buys this camera we'll save the boys?
What is Bojji up to?
We took of Ngern's shirt and made him sweat, but at what cost?
The PPL is driving me insane this week. You're too injured to lift things. Good thing we have this app to our local wholesaler.
Oh no, Bojji is having issues as well.
I like that Phumjai is stepping up and putting the money he has on the line in a way that asks Yang to trust him more.
Okay, I like this show ending the debt collection on a comedic note.
Curious what Yang does long term if he's given his shares to the employees.
Phojai and Tag are moving in together!!
Obsessed with these two playing baseball as a quality time exercise.
What is it with these dramas and showing a scene from even further back as a beginning of romance event? This is specific to Asian dramas.
Final episode brotherly context and emotional reconciliation. I'm okay with it.
More PPL. I'm losing my mind, but glad this little show must have succeeded.
This episode is so weird, but I'm having fun.
Qi'er and Bojji are so valid for the screaming and falling out.
The parents look so pleased about Yang and Tag.
Little Sun is going franchise, baby!
DID TAMMY TURN THEM INTO A NOVEL?? SHE SAID I'M GETTING PAID BACK FOR Y'ALL USING MY LIKENESS IN YOUR STORE AND PLAYING WITH MY FEELINGS!
They said the name of the show. Finish your drinks.
And now they're proposing? This show has everything.
Okay. Drawing the ring on Yang"s finger was so goddamn cute.
Of course they met as kids. These dramas love the notion of destiny.
Final Verdict: 8.5, This Show Was So Much Fun. Phumjai and Yang are one of my favorite pairs of the year. I liked the way they fell for each other and the way this show used its workplace. The plot wobbled massively throughout the final two episodes, and we lost the thread on a few things along the way for product placement, but I really loved these characters so much and I loved the way they treated each other. I'm going to miss having this show in the balance. Offroad and Daou and friends did a great job here.

Quick post debunking those half-baked opinions I'm seeing on tiktok and Twitter using just Journal 3:
1. "Mabel was selfish/mean/ungrateful/ an awful person etc" let alone the fact she's a 13 yr old girl and also regularly risked her life for him... The point is that they grew and learned. They made mistakes and apologized for it, and they forgave. They moved on. (Something Stan and Ford could never do -- a contrast)
2. "Stanford just used Fiddleford and was the sole reason for the falling out" Ford obviously cared a lot about Fiddleford, but the fact was that they didn't trust each other as much as they should've, and Ford was being manipulated 24/7 (add on sleep deprivation, mind manipulation, etc.) That's the point of the "TRUST NO ONE" message being debunked - there are things you can't do on your own, and you need someone you trust to fall back on. But they didn't have that. (Second pic is of Fiddleford talking to young Blind Ivan, and it's implied this is where he got the memory gun idea, due to his traumatic experience striking a cord in Fiddleford.)
3. "Ford is a bad person, used Stan, etc, all that shit." Ford fucked up. Literally everyone knows that. But after seeing who Stan was, who he really was, Ford was forced to confront the fact that his image of his brother was warped from years and years of being on his own, running for his life, living in constant paranoia, being manipulated into trusting no one but a dream demon, and yes, his ego. He admits it himself. And Stan isn't a perfect person, but the image (in the beginning) of him is inaccurate in the Journal, because it's written from Ford's pov. He hasn't had to look from someone else's POV in years, so he sees Stan's actions as selfish and unreasonable. But later on, he realizes it. He's been living like he's simply better than others due to his intelligence, criticizing everything Stan does, but in the end, he realizes he was wrong, and the brother he loved has been there the whole time, risking his life readily and daily just for a chance to protect his family, giving up everything for them. He realizes he was unjust. And it's not an excuse -- but a reason, one that shouldn't be dumbed down to "Oh he's a bad person". And he recognizes that Stanley has every right to deny his dream after Ford belittled Stan's.
He kept films of when they were kids, and stayed by Stan's side constantly while his memory was returning. Stan is important to him, he was simply in an awful situation that caused him to act awful. Stan is Ford's hero.
4. "Ford abandoned Fiddleford/Fiddleford got a bad ending". Be so fr, even disregarding the credits scene where Fiddleford is with his son, and the scene where Fiddleford says he can start forgiving instead of forgetting what Ford did and put him through, there are full pages of this guy's ramblings abt him. And he remembers such minute details about his friend, such as the rubix cube. He went out of his way to help rebuild Fiddleford's life.
Bonus number 5: "The road trip episode wasn't logical to put into the second season because they were trying to be protected from Bill. " that was explained too! Though it was only in the Journal so I get it yk? But Ford's aim was the protect the kids in case he made a mistake.
Anyways that's all for now, just a bunch of things I noticed ppl forgot or didnt know while reading Journal 3.

Allison’s JetSki facts for Fanfics that I think people will find helpful!
*Disclaimer I’m not going fully into depth with any of these, but I’ll try my best to point out what stuck out to me after riding them ever since I was a little kid all the way up until I got a boating license to drive and take care of them all on my own. -Must also inform you I’ve only ever rode and drove SeaDoo brand Jetski’s - and got a boating license when I lived in California four years ago - so for fanfics maybe check your laws when it comes to your state, and find out what brand of jetski your writing about because my experience may differ.
(Also I’m mainly doing this because Jetski’s appearances in Loki but if this helps other fandoms or fics and such please enjoy!)
• I’m starting this off with Jetski’s are varying types of sturdy plastic/fiberglass/and carbon fiber - they are not metal. (I’ve seen a few fics so far of ppl describing the texture and such as metal and I promise it does not feel that way and it’s not metal at all.) - it is more thin-feeling plastic on the exterior bits and a much harder durable plastic on the undercarriage. (The seat and more “plush”accents [small spot in the middle of the handles] feel a mix of pleather with the texture of a basketball)
• Speaking of the undercarriage of the Jetski, there’s a sticker at the bottom that instructs you on what to do if you flip a jetski! -it mainly is just standing on the corner of one end and using your weight to turn it back over.
•You must be asking Allison how does one flip a jetski? I’ll tell you! Jetski’s are very fast and sleek, which makes you want to pull very sharp turns, which you can sometimes pull off but do not be surprised if you can’t - and this very well may topple the Jetski.
• Sharp turns is not all that will flip you, Jetski’s do have a recommended amount of passengers. Three grown adults is doable, but not recommended if you’re in a higher weight class and you also plan to do quick maneuvers. But otherwise, the ideal amount of people on a jetski for good maneuverability is two!
• Don’t worry too much about flipping a Jetski but keep it in mind because Jetski’s are heavy - mine alone with a full tank of gas where pushing 800 pounds and those models where fairly new. Not as new as the one seen in Loki but only a few years off so I’m assuming that one is much of the same in weight.
• In cases of flipping or even being thrown off (I’ve legit been thrown off and I was driving while my cousin behind me did not) if you’re behind the driver the seats have straps to hold onto.
⬆️CAUTION: these straps are thin and it’s not recommended you even stick your fingers fully under them, just your fingertips, because with the amount of force you go flying, you may very well lose your fingers.
• So when holding on while riding if you are a passenger, either tend to those small straps with your finger tips or place your arms on the drivers hips! - BUT PASSENGERS DO NOT LEAN INTO TURNS LIKE THE DRIVER MIGHT- THIS CAN FLIP YOU OR MAKE THE DRIVER OVER DO IT IF YOU MOVE THEM ACCIDENTALLY
• jetski’s run by pulling in water and propelling it out! Because of this, Jetski’s cannot be driven in shallow places. In case you do there is something inside called a wear-ring, it is built to break in case things get sucked in. (Trust me I’ve broken a wear ring before and it all I can say is a jetski sounds angry when this happens)
• above this motor is a pull down bar, so if you happen to get in the water, you have an easy way of climbing back onto your jetski (when it’s off obviously - please don’t try getting on behind a jetski when it’s on or if u are make sure it’s on idle)
• Jetski’s have little or big compartments depending on the model, one under the handle bars, and a bigger one in the front hood. This is excluding the space under the seat where the engine sits - do not store stuff with the engine unless you want to kill your jetski.
• in these compartments you should have a small anchor for your jetski, and as laws have increased, you should have your boater license on you, because trust me jetski’s do get pulled over a lot; and do you want to know why cause I will tell you bluntly; lots of people who ride jetski’s ignore the safety rules and get people killed or seriously hurt because of it.
• So I’m going to explain some of those rules for you! When you bring a jetski out, you’ll see the wake line (normally a line of buoys that will legit till you go 5 mph) That means go 5mph in that area as it’s for swimmers and boats to safetly move near one another to get out into where they can go fast.
(Idk how to even describe the thrill it was being young and going that long trek to the buoy line of 5mph and my dad immediately jumping to top speeds the second we were safe to do so!)
•Different color buoys have different meanings, this I will not explain as it’s been some time since I’ve been on the water but please do look these things up if you plan to go boating. Some buoys are colored as warnings!
• We all see the lines of waves other boats leave in their path, those are wakes and legally you are not supposed to cross those unless you feel you are a hundred feet back from the boat that made them. You do not want to cross someone’s wake close to them, it’ll save you from crashing because other boats are unpredictable.
(It legit is terrifying with how many jetski ppl try to cross other ppls wakes - especially other jetski’s- while being all too close. Seen way too many close calls that could have been fatal.)
• DO NOT RIDE YOUR JETSKI AT NIGHT IT IS AGAINST THE LAW AND DANGEROUS. Jetski’s do not come with lights therefore they are not safe to operate at night. (My sister lost a friend to this and it’s all too common a way to die on a jetski.)
• Jetski’s are mainly made for lakes not the ocean! That isn’t so say you can’t ride them in the ocean, you very much can, it’s just salt water is a immensely degradable substance that can ultimately affect the lifespan of your jetski. So finding a good lake is the best way to go.
•Anytime you use a jetski, after the fact you must throughly wash it ALL. That means running water through it and the motor to effectively clean everything out. This is an environmental law, and when you bring your jetski to any lake it will be inspected before it may come in! (I suggest watching a YouTube video of the process if you really want to go into it)
•if you’ve noticed when unloading a jetski, jetski’s on a trailer are normally facing your vehicle! This is because jetski’s have a reverse option much like a car, it’s usually a lever on the handle much like the break for a bike!
•jetski’s come with special keys, a normal and learners key mainly - though that depends on what you buy; those are just the standards we got when we first bought ours. The learners key will not allow the jetski to go as fast as the normal but trust me you probably won’t notice it still goes fast.
•Highly suggest these keys are connected to your life vest (WHICH YOU SHOULD BE WEARING AT ALL TIMES) because if you happen to go flying or fall off, the key will immediately turn off the engine.
•if you so happen to fall in and the jetski keeps going forward and is still running DO NOT STAY WHERE YOU ARE so due to some kind of physics or whatever (not sure how to explain this but I legit remember the hour long lecture I had to watch in boating school for this) Jetski’s will turn around on their own and come back. If you’re in the same spot, you will get run over. So boot out of the way as fast as you can. If the jetski doesn’t turn and comes to a complete stop in whatever trajectory it went off in, you can approach and get back on.
• For environmental safety you are not supposed to fill up the gas of a jetski on the water or at the dock or anything. Take your jetski’s to the gas station before hand, yes it’s tedious and hard to do with a trailer but it’s much safer and better for the environment than you somehow spilling gas into the water.
• For the safety of your skin, in that little compartment keep some sunscreen, you burn twice as fast and bad on the water as the sun is reflected off the water and back up at you.
• The day after, no matter how much you ride jetski’s normally, your thighs will hurt and ache. Riding a jetski is basically straddling something large enough to force your legs apart- and it does this for long periods of time. Even if you’re someone who drives standing, the width you hold your legs apart is barely natural. So expect some sore legs.
•Be observant and calculating, you need to always be scanning as other ppl likely do not know what they are doing, and it’s not like the roads where you have lanes. People will try to get in your space, you need to constantly know where the people around you are.
• That also goes for the water. Jetski’s come with a flag (I’m sorry I can’t recall if it’s red or white and I keep seeing different versions) but if you see someone waving a flag- stop your vehicle. It means someone is in the water! BEWARE.
• If you decide to have fun towing someone behind your jetski, you cannot be alone. You absolutely must have someone behind the driver, seated at the end of the jetski backwards - holding to the straps or small handle there- watching the tow. That person is in charge of the flag lest who you’re towing falls off.
(This one is more so a seadoo company fact rather than a full on jetski fact, but when they release new jetski’s they only release it in two colors at that time - so we bought two the same year and got the only two colors at that time which had been orange and blue - so if you’re writing about seadoo specifically I’d look up the colors and years of whatever model your talking about)
It’s very easy to get caught up in the fun of riding a jetski, and it’s a great experience truly it is, but there’s also a lot to look out for. Because at the end of the day it’s still a vehicle, not a toy.
It’s quite the responsibility but if you’re up to it, they’re a lot of fun to have. These are just some of the things that came to mind, and I’m not sure how helpful this will all be. But I’ll be sure to add more if I come up with anything else.

What are your k drama recommendations??!? I need new ones
omg my time has come thank you anon for giving me the opportunity to ramble about shows
I ended up talking WAY too long so I'm putting everything after the first one under the cut
all of us are dead- show about high schoolers as a zombie apocalypse starts. very funny and relatable, literally they call the police and are like 'have you seen train to busan?' bffrrn. has a lot of social commentary and there are references to the sinking of mc sewol (a cruise that sunk where the captain deserted it and left a large amount of high schoolers to drown). commentary about how adults save themselves first/leave youth to fend for themselves. one of my comfort shows and although they didn't intend for more seasons, it was received so well that they have been renewed! I am also an ot4 truther and sometimes talk about them on my international shows sideblog: @nam-on-jo
sweet home- (disclaimer: I am not caught up and have not yet seen s2 which came out a little while ago) honestly I have no idea how to explain this so I'm gonna copy-paste the blurb: as humans turn into savage monsters, one troubled teenager and his neighbours fight to survive and to hold onto their humanity. basically people turn into monsters for [redacted] reasons and everyone in his large apartment building is stuck inside trying to fend for their lives.
my name- I'm just going to paste the blurbs going forward because it's easier: Following her father's murder, a revenge-driven woman puts her trust in a powerful crime boss -- and enters the force under his direction. bro some of these twists I expected but others caught me off guard. I love the main character and am a little gay for her but I think that's valid because she's a bamf. there was a plot point at the end of the second to last episode that I really didn't like and made me very upset. narratively I get why they did it but it made me sad so I'm still pissy. might get around to writing a fix-it fic one day when motivation strikes because my girl deserves better things.
the guest- a detective, a catholic priest, and a psychic join forces to fight crime caused by supernatural forces. not to say they are my ot3 but they kinda are. (other ppl interpret it is a lesbian and her two bi/gay bffs which I also accept but. ot3 tho). LOVED every twist and turn and how the three of them go from not trusting one another to being family. genuinely one of my favorites from all the kdramas I've watched over the years and I want to rewatch it again soon
happiness (tvn)- The residents of a high-rise apartment fight for their lives against a deadly infectious disease while Sae-bom and Yi-hyun try to find the person because of whom the virus spread. bro I adored this. some characters annoyed me (which means they were written effectively) but it has so much. fake dating/marriage (they wanted a better apartment lmao). annoyances to lovers. mean/rude woman soft for sunshine man. what you will do for the people you love. morals and humanity during a catastrophy. *smacks show* you can fit so much into this. no but seriously, I thought this was a really interesting take on the zombie virus! so some of the time you come off completely asymptomatic and 'normal', so people can get away with acting normal and hiding the disease around other people, so the paranoia and mystery is REALLY amped up. had me guessing a LOT. sae-bom and yi-hyun are both cops/detectives and you find out really early (ep 1/2?) that sae-bom is immune which gives a really interesting dynamic that leaves her (to yi-hyun's exasperation and heightened blood pressure levels) to be kinda reckless in the pursuit of truth and salvation. I'm rambling now because this is making me watch to rewatch but yeah as a zombie/dystopia/apocalypse lover this was a good watch. it's more story-focused than violence-heavy which was a cool and refreshing twist
alice in borderland- okay y'all I am aware people had mixed feelings about s2 but overall I did enjoy the series. 'Obsessed gamer Arisu suddenly finds himself in a strange, emptied-out version of Tokyo in which he and his friends must compete in dangerous games in order to survive.' what can I say, I love a dystopian-esque setting.
the silent sea- imma be real, I only watched it for loml bae doona from sense8. 'During a perilous 24-hour mission on the moon, space explorers try to retrieve samples from an abandoned research facility steeped in classified secrets.' basically earth is in severe crisis mode as they run out of water to drink. water has recently been found on the moon, and although there was a mysterious tragedy that happened previously to researchers looking for water in a base on the moon, they have reached a level of desperation where they have another mission to look for moon water. mystery, paranoia, a couple of good twists ensue. I thought it was pretty good even though I have some mixed feelings about the open ending.
semantic error- yes I am sliding a bl into this list. bitch you thought. of course my bl-loving self would mention this (I forgot about it until I looked up good kdramas to remind myself of stuff I have watched). 'A strict, rule-abiding computer science major must work together with an artist with a polar-opposite personality to his.' confident cool boy meets bitch boy. it's great.
and of course...
leverage con artists- I would be fired from running this blog if I didn't mention the beloved korean spinoff of leverage. 'The series follows the story of Lee Tae-joon, a former insurance investigator who forms a team of thieves and con artists to target the rich and wealthy. The team was also formed to avenge Tae-joon's son's death.' I've posted about it before so I won't go super into it but it's VERY camp, a good time, and the ot3 is alive and well. debatable more overt than their predecessor!
other mentionables:
I tried watching kingdom (again for bae doona) but couldn't really get into it. might try again later because it's critically acclaimed (I think) and has even gotten a spinoff series
my roommate really liked mr queen. I didn't really pay attention when we were in the same room and they were watching it but it's fruity
the island on amazon prime was good! interesting plot but not in my top 10 or anything. worth a watch if you're looking for a kdrama to watch in your spare time. features girlboss businesswoman being thrown into a world of the supernatural because [redacted]. supernatural black horse man keeps her safe while keeping a life-changing secret.
let's fight ghost was a thai show that I saw and loved that was adapted into a kdrama called bring it on ghost, but honestly I couldn't get through it because I liked the thai one better.
train to busan is technically a movie but it's iconic and well-known and I highly suggest watching it if you like zombie/apocalypse movies. disclaimer: kdramas do not have the slow 'walker' zombies. they are fucking fast and the stuff of my nightmares. would probably just jump off a bridge if this actually happened ngl
I did think that extraordinary attorney woo was cute. I never finished it and know that there are VERY valid criticisms about the perpetuation of media portraying people with autism in the stereotypical savant ways. however, I liked how the love interest accepted her for who she was, loved her because of who she was and made efforts to accommodate and learn how to comfort her in ways that would work for her
business proposal was pretty decent if you like lighthearted romance- I didn't finish it but would like to at some point
tale of the nine tailed was another one that my roommate and I started watching but never finished. it was alright! just lost interest
shows on my watchlist:
black knight (netflix)- 'In a dystopian future devastated by air pollution, the survival of humanity depends on a group of deliverymen known as the Black Knights who navigate the wastelands using unconventional means.'
copycat killer-
hellbound (netflix)-
shop for killers (hulu)- 'A nephew who lost his parents and grew up in the hands of an uncle who runs a shopping mall faces a new truth after his uncle's sudden death.'
the legend of the blue sea (viki + hulu)- 'A magistrate's plan to release mermaids into the ocean backfires when they're caught by fishermen.' (legit I just miss mermaid media)
gyeongseong creature (netflix)- 'In the city of Gyeongseong in 1945, a group of young people thinking only of their own survival encounter a monster born of human greed and ask themselves what humanity is.'
dark hole (viki)- 'A mysterious black fog from a petrochemical factory's sinkhole turns people into bizarre figures; people who are not infected try to survive in this middle of pandemonium.'
the cursed (multiple)- 'An enthusiastic social issues reporter, fighting against the evil hidden behind an IT conglomerate, meets a teen-age girl who is possessed by a spirit and has special abilities.'
blood (multiple)- 'Dr Park Ji Sang believes in the sanctity of human life, and struggles to treat terminally ill cancer patients and save lives while at the same time being a vampire.'
the ghost detective (viki)- 'In this horror thriller drama, a detective who catches ghosts tries to solve the case of his younger sibling's death with the help of his assistant.'
possessed (netflix)- 'A smart-mouthed detective and a reclusive psychic medium join together to get rid of the ghost of a murder who was executed 20 years ago.'
connect (hulu)- 'A man is kidnapped and one of his eyes removed by a gang of organ hunters; his eyes was transplanted into body of a serial killer; the unwilling donor now has terrible visions as he witnesses terrifying attacks on the residents of Seoul.'
and now just because so many of these only have het romances, I looked up k-dramas with lgbtq representation... (some of these recommendations were from articles from screenrant, movieweb, this subreddit, herzindagi (bl-focused), allkpop)
schoolgirl detectives (viki)- 'Five teenage girls join together to investigate mysterious incidents that occur at their school, as well as help classmate deal with bullying, depression and other crises.'
be melodramatic (netflix, viki)- 'Three 30-year-old best friends, Jinju, Eun-jung and Hanju each pursue different paths in both career and love. Despite life's difficulties, the three friends can always return home at the end of the day and support each other.'
lily fever (available w/subtitles on youtube)- 'The story revolves around the budding relationship between Kim Kyung Ju and Jang Se Rang who meet when Kyung Ju can't find her passport and has to go to her friend's house to try and find it.'
love alarm (netflix)- 'In a world in which an app alerts people if someone in the vicinity likes them, Kim Jojo experiences young love while coping with personal adversities.'
nevertheless (netflix)- 'The story of a romance between a man who is annoyed with relationships but likes to flirt and a woman who wants to date but does not believe in love.' (wlw side couple romance)

The other day I saw someone say that the plot of Bleach is mainly driven by the distrust and lack of belief in their friends’ character most of the main cast has in their friends, some examples being Chad and Orihime thinking that Ichigo will run away from the war if given the choice when Urahara told him to do what he believes is best despite Ichigo giving them no reason to doubt him And uryuu not telling anyone what he was doing with yhwach and the other Quincy despite obviously knowing before hand, thus making bleach very different then most shounen around the time it was created, given that those were driven by the trust and friendship the main characters had in one another. Even Ichigo himself refuses to rely on others, a fact of his character that’s made obvious in the arrancar arc where he think Rukia and Renji won’t go to heuco mundo with him to save Orihime and even refuses Ishida and chad’s help at first
and for some weird reason my mind has been fixated on a crossover between one piece and bleach where ichigo and Rukia end up in the one piece world
this is basically an AU where aizen attacks again after yhwach’s gone and everything goes kinda bad
ichigo ends up on an island near punk hazard three years before canon and five years before the timeskip (I’m making it up on the go). The island is a black smithing place where Mihawk’s Yoru and several other swords were made. Not going into details but it’s basically ruled by a tyrant and based of something in mythology
Rukia ends up at a revolutionary because a) I think she’s a great contrast to Sabo since she went from street kid to noble while sabo did the opposite and b) she’s a soldier in a corrupt military organization, the irony of having her end up with ppl who directly oppose an organization similar to the one she served, and being forced to acknowkedge the twisted corruption of the marines, a military organization headed by nobles. sound familiar? (Central 46 and the Gorosei)
like she technically knows that the soul society aren’t exactly the good guys they’re just the lesser evil most of the time so yeah, I think it’d be a great character arc also I think her sabo and koala would be a cool trio
you know what’s even more fun, neither of them have their original shinigami powers (yes, I nerfed them but I kinda have the reason why planned). They have their base swordskills and stuff but none of the fancy powers they had before, No zanpakuto, no kido. Just the basics.
They spend the next like five years adjusting, learning haki and or in Ichigo’s case, learning how to make a sword from the man who made Mihawk’s sword after making a deal to save the island from the tyrant
I love him and the weirdly fast way he learns everything so I’m applying it to this, where he wants to learn how to make a sword because none of the ones he tries feel right in his hands and he wants zangetsu back but obviously doesn’t have him so he goes about making a sword and eventually manages it after like four years
rukia on the other hand, gets her hands on a devil fruit in the second year since her arrival there— the cold cold fruit, the opposite of that Oven dude in Whole Cake Island. Obviously she eats it and learns how to use it. She’s not too creative with it at first because she misses Sode No Shirayuki but after a while she breaks that habit. The awakening would be something like her bankai because I love it and I really love her ice vibe. Also once again contrast to sabo’s flame flame fruit
blah blah blah, timeskip stuff happens and the straw hats, Law, and our favourite samurai hitch hikers get caught in a storm on the way to dressrosa and get blown into Ichigo’s island. More blah blah blah stuff that I haven’t planned and then Ichigo joins them. anyways back to my original point, the straw hats trust each other in a really great way like yes, they’ve had some bumps here and there but they would trust each other with their life AND lay down their lives for one another in the blink of an eye and that’s like a direct contrast to relationships in bleach and I think Ichigo would probably benefit from the knowledge that there are ppl that fully trust him and that he can also put his trust in
some one said in another post that luffy doesn’t have daddy issues, he has daddy solutions because he makes everyone’s daddy issue go away and Ichigo needs that shit on his life
also I think it would be really cool that since Ichigo’s whole life had been surrounded by the idea of death and a large part of his character arc in bleach is accepting death as part of life and finally moving on from his mother’s death, it would be another great character arc for him to genuinely start living his life as he likes and Luffy, the embodiment of freedom and working towards achieving your dream so you can live your life without regrets, is the best person to make Ichigo finally start living his life
this part is pretty much AU and kinda based off a fic but Ichigo’s dream in this AU would have to do with his fascination with languages and that he wanted to see the whole world to explore it and soothe the itch to run into the unknown headfirst. Pretty much wanderlust ichigo + language nerd ichigo
since he’s a blacksmith/sword smith as well, his conversations with zoro, Franky, nami, and robin would be cool plus his dad is a doctor so he’d have some medical knowledge as well so he and chopper would get along
also how could I forget the man himself, soul king brook? Brook knows there’s something fucky going on with Ichigo cause his soul is weird and brook has an awareness of souls as seen in canon. He’s basically a plus soul that’s piloting a skeletal body in a way. He’s able to see hollows and all that weird shit
this is such a fun idea I could talk about this for hours 😭😭
#bleach#ichigo kurosaki#rukia kuchiki#one piece#monkey d. luffy#strawhat pirates#crossover au#pirate ichigo and revolutionary rukia are some thing I didn’t know I needed in my life until like yesterday#crossover#bleach x one piece crossover

Since we’ve been immersed with the IC for so long I feel like it’s easy for us readers to be like “I wish Elain were more like them or that she “needs” to be brave. I confess I’ve wished she were more brave.
But the IC are very cutthroat. It goes with the territory. It’s more suited for feyre and nesta personality types from who they were since they were little. Once weare away from just the ic (no hate i love the ic. It’s fun to see diff councils planning, got-style!) we can see other leaders who take a different approach, it will be easier to see Elain doesn’t “need” to be any other way. No need to force it, she will fit in with others naturally.
This is why I think readers (inc me in the past) would fret frustrated that she’s not contributing to the cause. I understand when readers want to see what she’s got but they complain she’s only doing her hobbies. I have nothing against her hobbies, I love them anctually, but I admit that sometimes those critiquing her hobbies go too far and harsh! But o think they just want to see her thrive in a fantasy-esque way. Kicking butt (not literally) and then going back to gardening :D
I think because we see the other girls do their hobbies and also save the day were like “girls can do both!” But I think if Elain were to stay at NC she would only be performing her hobbies, bcuz the IC leaves her out of everything. It’s SJM way of saying “shes not entirely accepted here and if she stays all she can do is bide her time by baking/gardening”
so when I see people say “so what if she only bakes and gardens?” I’m like? So she’d be the only female character to not be involved with the major events going down? You really want that for her? The argument has gone way out of hand. The entire point is being missed. Of the story we’re set up differently and we got a good look into those providing food for the warriors I’d be down with her contributing through her cooking skills, but npthingggg has given an indication of that.
Elain doesn’t fit in with IC, and that’s fine. They’re not the only ones out there. So many other cool councils! (Imagine helion’s council!!) and It’s not a fault, the IC just different from her (she’s probly not as uptight as them :P) frankly, I imagine a lot of ppl don’t get a long with the IC, and they do not trust others easily. They’re a tough to impress clique haha.
I feel like maybe Elain understands that arguing with the IC is pointless especially if you’re not part of the IC so she doesn’t push it too much. She knows they’re not her people. They are very secretive and even though she’s family, they’re also very business. There’s still a part of my brain that does kinda want Elain to stand up tot the IC but I know once we get pov that will change.
Different leaders and councils have different approach. the other leaders might still be ruthless, in a way, since they’re fae living in tough times, but maybe in a different way from the IC. In a way that Elain can agree with, with a group who will value her input on how to handle a situation in her own way and understand her methods and reasonings.
I’ve been thinking about Elain character becaus I’ve read other characters like her who I’ve really liked/loved I couldn’t understand why I didn’t feel the same for Elain.
I just wish that readers would understand that all these characters are unique individuals and that doesn’t mean one character is better or worse than the other. They’re just different that’s it. I think it will easier to see when we get her pov and she surrounded by the right ppl to her style!
Ive sent an ask before and every time I think it will be short it never is! So much to say haha. Tried to space it out to make it easier for you :P
I enjoyed your thoughts, thank you for sending them! I think Elain has tried contributing to the cause but it's evident that she's not encouraged or supported the way Nesta was. I think if Nesta had volunteered something in ACOWAR or the beginning of SF they would have been falling over themselves with excitement. Instead they reached out to Nesta for help and she shut them down at times. But when Elain does it they're more like, "yeah but Nesta....." And in SF we do see her beginning to fight back a bit because I think she's starting to realize that they are never going to count her as one of them. I think she's too observant not to notice the difference between how she's treated versus Nesta. But just as Feyre was never going to come into her own in the Spring Court, I think Elain will never truly shine in the Night Court.

You know what???? I loooooOooooove the reality check this birthday picture gave some people (excuse my bad English, I’m French) who pretended that their fav were oh so so not wanting to be near Noah, or I remember when the cast picture with everyone was out (the black and white with everybody on it and Noah on the sofa) and some ppl were saying that a lot of them looked uncomfortable or tense or did not want to be there and I just want to laugh at them. They wanted Noah to be miserable and friendless and that is so messed up to act like this, and yeah you’re definitely right about the parasocial thing.
The crew absolutely adores Noah and they are delighted to spend time with him. Do people really think they’re obligated to? Trust me I’ve been in enough fandoms to recognise when cast mates just want to be colleagues and not spend time together. (Like… it’s really frequent actually.)
Shame on these people.
yeah it’s actually quite normal for cast members to act like co workers and i think it’s totally fine, nobody has to be forced to hang out if you don’t want to because at the end, this is just a job, they are in fact just co workers. it’s us that expect them to be besties when a set is actually a work place so as long as everybody is respectful, i don’t see a problem. in that aspect, everybody seems to respect noah and we haven’t witnessed any real problems (not rumors) so it’s all cool there.
now obviously some friendships do start at work and it’s clear everybody seems to have good friendships with noah and it’s funny how people wanted/expected him to be shunned by the cast when months later, we can see that he is one of the people who gets invited to everything, like one week he’s at gaten’s birthday with everybody and the next he’s the only one of the young cast that made the cut to millie’s wedding. all the young cast + joe also accepted his invitation to celebrate his birthday at the sweat tour and it’s funny certain people celebrate that certain cast members weren’t there when doing that is just setting yourself up for disappointment because believe me, they will hang out and we’ll get pictures someday and you’ll have to step down your high horse. btw i’m sure that all the cast would be disgusted at the way people talk about noah, that’s their friend while your just a person behind a keyboard being mad because your fantasy of noah being sad and friendless isn’t real.
you know, i always see people being like “oh [insert actor/singer here] we miss you so much, post something” and it’s funny because celebs are pulling away because of you all! it’s all your own doing! everybody is over analysing and policing their lives, bullying their friends, family and significant others. why would anybody share their lives with you if they only will receive fake outrage? nobody wants you to write think pieces about their lives.
it’s such a complex topic because on one hand, if you share too much, you create these parasocial relationships because the fans connect too deeply with you and i think this is what has happened with noah because he’s been reality open before. on the other hand, if you don’t share anything at all, you give free will to people to project themselves into you and that creates parasocial relationships as well and i think this happens to people like sadie and finn that aren’t online at all. you can see it so clearly in certain people get outrage when their favs act a certain way or befriend certain people because they don’t have any real info about them so they project their own moral onto them so it gets super personal because this person is a real person that isn’t following the script you’ve created in your head, that’s why we get the “i’m so disappointed” think pieces on twitter which are ridiculous because i can assure you that they don’t care what you think and aren’t reading your tweets.
#answered#ns#your english is great 😊 never apologise for your english it’s also not my first language lol

I totally agree I hated Earth at the beginning same reasons as you pointed out in your post. Right now I feel she is getting better BUT why is she giving g therapy to his family? The only ones I find ok are Foxy and Roxanne (but still have my doubts because they are friends(?)).
I don’t know why people think that by hating a female character is immediately saying like “you don’t like women” or things like that. It’s weird besides during the whole run of SAMS Earth has been the only female, until Pollux got introduced but she is a secondary character that rarely appears.
Also in the Lunar and Earth show were Lunar is supposed to be a main character he gets pushed to being a side character and have Earth be the center of the episode or just Earth and Monty. Like the dynamic started good at the beginning both getting same screen time and what not (i do understand that the VA’s can get sick or get occupied since they have lives outside the RP channel) but idk maybe wishful thinking but I want Lunar to be main and earth too.
yesyes! like, ok, one thing they say is truth- she was the FIRST famale, character to be added into the cast, and people ran to "hate spam" so much so Davis felt the need to talk on this twitter - I remember it still.. (idk if the post is still up but ye) (also I never actually saw any hatefull comment? if anything jokes and mean comments but to the character, never the VA??) so like, thats one point, BUT! the situation! imagine if -say, EC had to talk to us? as ask us to trust the process whet the CODE stared to be sentient? not another AI, like Eclipse CLEARLY is, (left over data, is not the same as a line of code! isnt it?) imagine then. the HATE KC would have had.. and what? ppl hate man now? because they would have a evil evil male or say- they them villain? no. then why is this the case with someone who was FORCED into the show! sure, she can be a nice change of vibe, the wholesomeness the show needed when done right. she doesnt have to be sonething she is clearly not even close to be! she doesnt need to be a professional?! let her be the kind bestie, the soft woman who listen to you, that one person who accept is not wise, but is there for others! that!! works better! the fact ppl say "oh I want x to have a therapy session with Earth!" is so weird... she is clearly not a therapist.. let her be a emotional support! that too, I get it, SAMS has too many characters, is why Lunar had to be moved- works in lore and for the cast. is more money, and respecting his old mention of needing space.. now.. this was HIS idea, HIS channel..in a way.. he is like Sun.. they wanted a excuse to be seen and hear, yet thet got pushed aside..
#sams ask#tsams ask#earth and lunar show#I feel I do sound rude and im sorry-is just that she has potential wasted in weird ideas

my brain is perpetually melting lately so im like not super comprehending it but i looove hearing ppl talk about what theyre into and i am just nodding along so enthusiastically when you talk about rdr2 . also take this as me asking about it as i said im nodding along
crow im sorry </3 honestly i understand 100% and i hope the brain fog lifts for you<3 but im happy its fun to hear about <3 thank you for nodding along and asking about it (in spirit) so let me lay the generic history + synopsis of both games because i have . sort of just been dropping context as i talk about two brothers and their horrible father (<3 and the good one)
anyways im about to be very autistic<3 buckle up
red dead redemption (2010) started off as a spiritual successor to a game called red dead revolver (2004) that rockstar bought after the game had been cancelled after it failed to follow thru with funding issues in 2000 (capcom. as in mega man capcom, was paying for a studio to make it, but funding dropped and and that studio closed so rockstar acquired the studio + eventually got the rights for rthe game). HOWEVER they wanted to do more w/ the concept
so john martson was born in 2010 w/ the first red dead game. youre introduced to a this former outlaw in 1911 who's family is being used for blackmail as he makes his way across a fictionalized version of the american south/west + mexico trying to track down his former friends because the US govt wants them dead. hes polite but no-nonsense and hes sarcastic sometimes and mentally unwell and also so kind. hes very funny honestly like rdr1 john my beloved. and he helps people along the way! he makes associates with all kinds of people. he deals with the people in his old gang (javier escuella and bill williamson), including his father figure dutch van der linde. hes described as his fathers greatest success and greatest downfall. hes returned to his wife and son and 'uncle' only for the US govt to raid their home, kill uncle, and it forces john to tell his wife and son to run while he makes a last stand, knowing that theyd stop at killing him. because ultimately these games are about redemption. and it almost succeeds, but his son grows up to avenge him
and its a fun game! its a wonderful story its really well done with interesting twists and turns and a HEARTBREAKING ending with this kid just. continuing that cycle. killing a government man puts a target on his head too. and rockstar couldve gone with a sort of . 1910s-1920s set sequel where you explore what the kids fate is. instead in 2018 we're given a prequel in the form of red dead redemption 2.
its 1899 and its the end of the golden age and the age of the "west" is honestly decades gone. dutch is clinging to an old life because he hates the US government, doesnt trust the law, etc. hes got a group of misfits including two men hes raised since they were preteens (arthur morgan + john marston) alongside his oldest friend (platonic life partner? sorry. theyre toxic old men* in love) hosea matthews.
(*old for 1899)
so arthur morgan is born in 2018. hes not mentioned once in rdr1 because he didnt exist! and rockstar gives themself the very hard job of making us LIKE a protagonist new to the story as a whole. and it works basically immediately. id argue its almost impossible to hate arthur when he feels so human. ive rarely like. played a game that beat for beat feels very much like reading a novel and i am. so honest when i say he feels human. they all do. but you hear his thoughts, you read his journal entries, you hear his comments to himself and his way of interacting with the world around you, let alone with other people. hes so endearing, if not a bit gruff and rough around the edges, and then he warms. especially around hosea, or in quiet moments with john or his friendship that blooms w/ a man named charles (i will not get into this.) or his kindness with sadie adler, a widow you meet in the prologue (shes sooo).
and then arthur starts dying. hes dying from the end of chapter 2. theres 6 chapters total + two epilogues w/ john. chapter 1 is essentially the prologue. youre given ONE whole chapter with arthur before It Happens. and hes declining. and you get hints. he starts coughing.
rdr2 is a story of arthur and the events that lead to rdr1 with a splintered family. you know the events of rdr1 will happen as absolutes: bill dies. javier dies. dutch dies. john and abigail (his wife) will die. jack, their son, who in rdr2 is maybe all of 5 years old, will one day kill a man. but that seems so distant
its a death march, its an avalanche, its a butterfly effect. its a car crash its a trainwreck. and youre a rubbernecker. you cant look away, you have to play his part in the play. the events that ultimately are the catalyst happen a month prior to the games opening: dutch picked up a man named micah bell, and micah is not a nice man. and he knows exactly how to play dutch like a fiddle. and dutch's ego is too big to know hes being played. they rob a ferry boat. it goes badly. people die. the pinkertons are after them all. they run into the mountains and almost die. dutch's ego is bruised and he Needs to correct it. they run into his old nemesis and they steal that guys plans to rob a train. you could say that this was the true catalyst for the events for the rest of the game but ultimately it doesnt matter. micah has his grip on dutch, and dutch just robbed one of thee wealthiest men in america, who has an ego that matches
meanwhile arthur is an attack dog, and he attacks the wrong target on orders he doesnt like. a weak man dying of tuberculosis. it infects arthur, unwittingly. arthur can quit these jobs. its doesnt matter. he will die in 6 months
rdr2 is a story of trying desperately to pump the breaks as more and more people die. its about hope and trying to save as many people as you can. its about people who fall through the cracks and who the 1% hate coming together and the reality of being used in a cult of personality. its about one man falling apart and taking 20+ people who looked to him like a shepherd, down with him. its about desperately clinging to the past as the future rockets forward. its about loyalty its about betrayal its about dying.
arthur is shown chapter after chapter as he gets weaker that his father is willing to let family die. that when dutch loses hosea in ANOTHER botched robbery he is not the same man. that he's willing to let both his sons die. and when arthur realizes his time left is short, hes desperate to make things right
arthur dies letting john escape. dutch and micah look down at him as hes dying and walk away. arthur is buried facing west. for the sun. john inherits his hat and journal. john tries to build that fateful home with abigail and jack. you spend the epilogue with him as he tries to make wrong puzzle pieces fit and shave down the parts of him that were his fathers son so that they can try to live normally. he succeeds. the epilogue lets you face micah and dutch as john and arthurs friends who survived (charles + sadie). you kill micah. he deserves it. dutch lets john live.
time does not stop. rdr1 looms ahead. you ignore this and play ranch simulator as john draws in arthurs journal and writes and scratches out words and draws hearts around his wifes name. you can find arthurs grave and sit with him.
i spent 1 month putting off arthurs death. i mourned him in real time when he died. games to CHANGE the brain chemistry
#also its ok im honestly not sure what i say IS super comprehensible . in the first place#asks#crimzoncrow#crow 🦋#cowboygame lb

Do you think Hawks is a virgin? I'm a bit at odds cuz I just can't quite place it. We know that Hawks was raised by the hero commission since he was a young child and practically isolated from the outside world that whole time. The most pressing thing was to train Hawks diligently to insure he became the perfect hero. I don't see them viewing lessons about love, romance, and physical intimacy as a priority. Due to this I think Hawk's himself has a very narrow understanding of even the act of sex. He's close with Endeavor who has a wife and children so he must understand the basic principle at the very least. Having children means having sex. But other than that the mere concept is loss on him. Being intimate with another person is scary and dangerous. It forces you to put yourself into a very vulnerable position and put your guard down, two things Hawk's can not afford to do. Its shown that Hawk's does enjoy the company of others such as Endeavor, Best Jeanist, Tokoyami, Midoriya and Bakugou but even if he enjoys being around them he can never truly drop the act and just be himself because he doesn't know what "being himself" is. On the other side of things we also know that the commission has forced Hawk's to do terrible things in the past. Would it really be too far of a stretch to assume they also made Hawk's use his body in order to make other ppl lower their guard around him? It isn't an uncommon practice for assassins to seduce their targets beforehand. Hawk's is young, intelligent, strong, and handsome. The perfect combination to make anyone, man or woman, fall for his charms. However, understanding the art of seduction is very different from understanding love. If Hawk's were in a position where he was forced to sleep with someone I think he would take no pleasure from the experience. Its part of his job, his mission, nothing more. He doesn't know or understand that intimacy is supposed to feel good for both himself and the other person.
This is truly interesting Eiri 🤩 alright let's see.
Knowing the commission, it wouldn't be farfetched for them to set their agents up to missions involving sexual activities. Though I can't really tell wether or not Hawks has been implicated in such missions so let's just test the theories :
★ If he in fact was, then I believe his knowledge of sex would have to surpass the basics, which means that not only would he perform sexual services, but he would also need to know his assigned partner's preferences in order to gain their trust and probably their affection as well. In which case, he wouldn't be a virgin (most likely, because some sexual activities can still be performed without losing one's virginity) but either way, he would be very knowledgeable about the subject.
★ Now let's say he has never been instructed to be involved in such missions, in this case I strongly believe he would still be a virgin because, and as you pointed out, he cannot afford to put himself in a vulnerable position or let his guard down because that's what he was taught since childhood. His knowledge of sex however would still be as well as any other young adult's, regardless of virginity or lack thereof.
Intimacy is another whole thing, and I believe it's something Hawks cannot afford to delve into because of the nature of his life.
Whatever it is, I just hope he survives the war so he can finally live life as he wants, now that the commission has fallen.
