The more I look at Phil when others are talking the more I low-key relate. I obviously don't know what goes on in his brain I don't know him but I feel like his 'dissociated' stare could just be his unmasked listening mode.

And I am heavily projecting here but when he does do active listening it sometimes seems very conscious and a bit awkward, not in an insincere way, just that reactions might not come as naturally to him.

Like I also relate to his nonchalantness? I don't have as many emotions as others and even when I do I often have to consciously show them. When I'm talking to someone who doesn't know me I like to make sure I show enough interest in my face consciously and not just stare blank faced.

I would love to know other peoples thoughts and observations about this!
