can I say something
Erik is such a complex character and not a lot of people seem to go into a lot of depth about him. Erik has spent his entire life consumed by anger and grief. He’s been alone for so long, trusting no one and believing that all he has is his pain. Then Charles comes along and completely changes his world. Charles doesn’t just offer him help—he shows him compassion and gives him hope. That moment when Charles helps Erik unlock his powers through peace instead of rage is such a beautiful, intimate scene. Erik has never had someone get so close to him, someone who actually feels his pain and stays. You can see the shift in Erik’s face, like for the first time, he’s letting someone else in.
What’s so striking is how much Erik respects and admires Charles. He listens to him, trusts him, and even starts to believe in his dream of a better world, if only for a little while. Erik isn’t the kind of person who gives his loyalty or affection easily, but with Charles, it’s different. He wants to be near him, to fight alongside him. And the way he looks at Charles—so full of intensity and longing—it’s so obvious Erik has fallen for him completely. Charles represents everything Erik thinks he can’t have: kindness, hope, and love.
But Erik’s love for Charles is also what makes their eventual breakup so painful. Erik’s worldview is so shaped by his trauma that, in the end, he can’t let go of his belief that mutants need to fight to survive. Even when Charles begs him to stop, Erik can’t. And yet, you can tell he doesn’t want to hurt Charles. When he accidentally paralyzes him, you can see the devastation in his eyes. He stays by Charles’s side, cradling him, apologizing, almost desperate for him to understand. It’s not just guilt—it’s heartbreak. Erik loves Charles, but his love isn’t enough to overcome their differences, and it tears them both apart.

i actually love the idea of joel as orpheus and lizzie as eurydice. grian is hades which DOES make scar persephone.
cleo is demeter, and etho is the absent father/manwhore zeus
scar was teamed (take the definition loosely) with grian out of like 3/6 of the different life series ! that half of the series does indeed sound oddly close to hades getting persephone for half of the year ! right after persephone got abducted by hades, she was very much upset, just like scar after getting blown up by grians prank/creeper !!!
demeter is the goddess of fertility and agriculture and such but then decided to make the earth cold and dead and not fertile when her [son] was taken from her !! zombiecleo is cold and dead dare i say ! she is wrathful !
etho being zeus is because he was an absent father !! broseph was teaming up with everybody in wild life and became a father again ! everybody‘s obsessed with etho because he is the king of the gods !!!!!!
i also feel like scott would be poseidon because of mean gills but i dont know scotts lore all that well so correct me on his godliness i beg of you

Hey so I HAVE THOUGHTS on the new All In Till Cover art. Kinda DUMB thoughts maybe... but I wanna get them out there.
In most Album Cover Till art so far, Till's symbol color is deeper teal it's closer to green than blue, but definitely still teal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
However, in the All-In Cover, Till is fully green.
Tumblr media
Inconsistencies like this aren't really coincidental in a show like Alien Stage.
Anyway, in the cover art, Till also is wearing a tanktop and has red tape over his name branding on his neck, obviously in rebellion to the aliens. He still looks older. In a way, it almost looks like an evolved version of his current self that we last saw in Round 6.
All-In was sung by Hyuna, a member of the rebellion for humans, with the song itself being about taking your life for yours. It's basically a song about taking control of your life, pretty appropriate for Hyuna and the rebellion as a whole, and obviously, Till too (hence why a lot of people have been anticipating this utterly fire cover). The difference between him and her is that Hyuna is actually in the rebellion. Till isn't.
Or is he?
Back to the colors thing. Till used to be a blue-ish teal, but here is green. What colors do you have to mix to get green? Blue and yellow.
You know who's yellow?
Tumblr media
Luka.
We're getting ready to see Till go against Luka in the next round.
So, here's the point; Luka will change Till fundamentally in some way that will lead to his eventual rebellion arc and him getting back his spark somehow, joining the rebellion. This song will finally completely fit Till once he gets through Luka and similarly his own reservations. Till needs to escape the past and push forward, and Luka's manipulation might be the final straw for him to snap, like Mizi.

Copy/pasting this message I sent my buddy cause I'm kinda cooking w this one ngl
I half dreamt such a sad fucking plot dude, Regulus wakes up in their home, but Lily and James aren't in bed with him (they're all married) so he goes out to find them. He's groggy as he goes up to Lily to kiss her on the cheek, earning himself a hard slap on the face for it. Regulus is like hello??? But James is just as confused. Both James and Lily look pale and horrified. TLDR, Regulus jumped realities and landed in the canon one where he died young and never got to marry either of them. Cue James questioning his sexuality (again) and Lily having to explain everything to an increasingly more panicked Regulus. Things go from worse to worst when it's revealed that they never had a daughter. In Regulus' timeline, Lily gave birth to a baby girl which they named Juliette. So not only does he have to live with the fact that his wife and husband don't remember and don't love him like they used to, he also has to internalize that he will never see his daughter again, that she never even existed.

I was thinking about arcane as I do everyday and jinx is drawn to look insane on her wanted posters and I think that’s because cait probably describes her to a sketch artist as she is the only one who knows what she looks like up topside

Hey what if in the future when ORV has an anime and all that stuff and we get one of those limited time pop up cafes and one of the menus is a fried squid donut that if you split it apart there’d be ketchup inside to reference the entire 73rd DK arc…
And maybe with every order you get a small blurb from ORV on your bill where you can put it on a wall with all the other orders to form the entire story of ORV like how HSY did in the epilogue (and if you don’t know/forgot where you can interact with other ORV readers to put it up on the wall)…
Of course we’d also have Murim dumplings, chicken broth and a tomato salad bowl on the menu.
I can imagine a drink for OD as a butterfly pea tea that can change from blue to purple with lemon juice. It’d have like a pinch of edible glitter in it to look like stars.. Then SP’s drink is just a glass of wine lmao.
You know what else would be cute too? Posters on the wall that looks like we’re watching the kkomas cooking. And if you ask the waiter about the food they’ll just say [number] is cooking slowly because [that one Kkoma I forgot the number of] is off-duty today.
Also a section of the cafe is a small reading corner with ORV volumes to read but it’s designed to look like the inside of a subway because why not.

Writing/Animation prompt I wrote out at 5-6am:
The film starts out with a lovely artstyle reminiscent of Classic Disney. Smooth frames with bright colors, with talking objects and animals. Including a pet Golden Retriever the main character keeps on their side during their quests. It is here that they experience a lively imagination of fantasy. Slaying dragons, saving princesses, seeing fairies, the works.
But as time passes, the main character grows up. And while excited, it was hard to notice the lower frames of the animation quality. Sure, it wasn't liquid smooth, but it still looked relatively fine enough for plenty of life. The character continues their quests, the objects and dog still talk.
Many minutes come by, and one would start to notice the less and less frames the film would have for the animation. It looks like something off the Internet now, as the character enters teenage years. They reinvent their fantasy by incorporating mature and edgy stuff into it (Like drugs, blood, and War.), and for a while it worked.
For a while anyway. Even with all the exciting "mature" stuff, the objects no longer talk. Though their dog does, and even guides them on their journeys through teenagehood.
But eventually, that dies out too. That one hope, all forms of fantasy fades away as the animation gets even worse. To the point of it looking like a sitcom. Life, but less about happiness and more about keeping you alive. Much like the animators' work. Their fantasy world is gone. Completely. Only in a house that vaguely resembles that world. The objects don't even have facial expressions at all. Even the artifacts and posters on the wall from teenagehood are deteriorating. They look at the window outside your house, only seeing a cloud of putrid smoke and faint scenes of destruction.
And yet, going back inside there is one hope left. One glimmer and memory of their whole life: Their dog. Which still talks. Though he himself is getting older and more frail. After a few more minutes of conversation, he eventually collapses to the ground. As his heartbeat slows down at an ironically fast pace, he begins to speak his final words to them. Afterwards, his head falls into their hand, gone. Disappeared. His body even disintegrating in their arms.
Nothing then, was the same. As we near the end of the film, things still changed. Even the style, the adult animation style, was being made worse and worse to the point where they forget to move certain body parts. Until they couldn't even blink anymore. They're just merely a drawing that speaks in a setting and nothing more. The budget gets lower, there are no colors now, the animator forgets to had integral features to their design.
The background is blank, nothing is there. The character that the animator had drawn all this time, is just a poorly drawn headshot. Can't even talk, blink, or breathe. It was just there. For the last 5 minutes of the film, it just stood there. Staring back at you, as the lines get thinner. The character looks at you one last time, front facing. Almost begging for the animator to not go to the last frame. But they do anyway, and now it's just blank.
Literally nothing there. No description whatsoever. The film ends.
A degradation of a book that represents the death of childhood, the fatigue of adulthood, and the loss of innocence and life.
