Okay, but listen. Let me ask you something. What if Mizi is actually a clone?

This might sound a little crazy, but I promise you, I'm going somewhere with this. Let me list out my points:

1. It'd make sense for Mizi, the protagonist, to reflect Luka, the alleged "antagonist" (as well as currently, the only confirmed living "final boy" in some way).

2. They both have golden eyes. Coincidence? I genuinely think not. No other character in the show thus far is shown with golden eyes.

3. Mizi has an unnatural hair color...this would make sense (since, c'mon, it's animation) if only for the fact that no other character in the entire series has a hair color has completely unnatural as hers. Her pink hair is never said to be dyed. The only dye she ever put in her hair was the blue dye she put there for Round 1 back when her hair was still long.

4. Consider her nature. Every single character in the series other than Luka derived a lot of their trauma from their circumstances growing up before Anakt. Sua with her "mother" and sisters, Ivan in the slums, and Till with his mom in the mill. It's...odd that we haven't gotten much about her history yet beyond knowing that her life was good, and the fact she's remained so optimistic and naive in this world seems unnatural. If she was a test tube baby, she probably wouldn't have been able to see so much of the world's cruelity since she never had any family to lose from a young age, and only had good circumstances from the very start with Shine, which that was all she ever knew.

What let her be so sheltered compared to the rest? It'd only make sense for such a thing to happen if she was only living in a lab most of her life, or being born immediately in the care of a segyein and having her consider it "normal" from the start without knowing the love of a human parent. Instead she only knew the love of a Segyein, which is what would have made her so complacent.

(And of course there's aaaall those juicy Luka parallels no one talks about, though that's a seperate post entirely, which I'll definitely make someday.)
