I NEED someone to ramble to about my cotl self insert. They are so tragic yet so funny to me
Imagine being besties with a cult leader which you used to detest and then they revive the people that killed their species and your family and once you reconcile from that the small group of followers of theirs that you two hang out with end up falling for the aforementioned people. They are Suffering 💛

Welcome back to Alex's unhinged meta corner - although today it is less unhinged and more of a watertight analysis.
What I am about to present you is something most people have probably already noticed, but it has been three months and I still lose my mind while going through the final fifteen frame by frame (which is a normal thing normal people like us do, right? right).
You literally cannot convince me my following meta is wrong, and the only person whose criticism I will accept on this post is Michael Sheen and Michael Sheen ONLY. If you're not Michael Sheen (hi Michael Sheen who probably has a secret tumblr account) then your guess is as good as mine, though again, I think mine is solid.
So.
We all love and hate Aziraphale's "I forgive you", but what I find even more painful is the fact that before that he almost said "I love you". Then he stops himself and changes it, and the amount of micro-expressions on his face as he makes that decision is my current cause of death.
Here's the clip as evidence #1, and while it can definitely support itself, let's dive into the pain a little more, shall we?
One important thing I noticed is that Aziraphale doesn't look at Crowley while he stutters his way through his initial reaction. He blinks up at him for a few frames before averting his eyes again and only holds eye contact after the almost-confession (from here on referred to as IL-).
This is Aziraphale holding eye contact with Crowley (left) vs. him looking away (right):
Tumblr media
The frame on the left is from the I forgive you (IFY) part of the scene, the other one from right before IL-. If we go through the above clip little by little we will find that he avoids Crowley's face the entire time and his gaze slips further and further down, which I interpret as him overthinking/trying to come up with something to respond to this entire situation.
He is overwhelmed and surprised, caught between his two main desires: Crowley and being a Good Angel.
Combing through the frames, we can actually nail down exactly when Aziraphale first makes eye contact before the IL- and when he stops. Keep the above comparison in mind! The angle is slightly different because his chin is lower and he straightens up throughout the scene.
So! This is where he starts looking at Crowley:
Tumblr media
And this is where he stops:
Tumblr media
Hard to see? Let's zoom in on his eyes (numbers are the file names):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, you might ask me "Alex, this is all fine, although a bit insane, but why is any of this important?"
Because, fellow tumblr user and good omens enthusiast, I think that looking at Crowley is what changes his mind about what to say.
He doesn't look at him -> about to confess his feelings.
He looks at him -> says the absolutely worst possible thing.
Partly to hurt him because they're both lashing out at each other during this argument, but he looks at Crowley, looks at the person that just kissed him, that told him they could have been an us, that wants him and has always wanted him, screw everyone else.
He looks at Crowley and he wants to say l love you but then what? Once he says those words, he can't leave. He just can't.
We have to remember that they have existed within a complicated dance, a game that they have been playing for centuries without ever telling each other what that game actually is, what the rules are - because they couldn't. It was based entirely on trust and knowing the other person well enough to play it safe.
Crowley just flipped the playing board. Nothing is the way it should be, he is refusing to do their dance, refusing to play. He is looking at him and daring him to stop trying to put the pieces back on the board. The only thing neither of them has done yet is actually say I love you out loud.
Saying those words would mean stepping away from the playing board and acknowledging the room they have been playing in. It would mean saying fuck you to heaven, yes, but it would also force Aziraphale to finally define himself outside of the role he has been playing for both Crowley and heaven, and he isn't ready for that yet.
Additionally, there is the fear and/or knowledge (depending on what else the Metatron might have said or done that we did not see) that heaven will retaliate against him and Crowley if he disobeys them now, and he does not want to risk that either.
All that is what, in my opinion, happens in his head when he averts his eyes and interrupts himself. I do kinda what to make a whole different post about his facial expressions leading up to the IFY, so I will end this one with one more bit of pain.
Ready?
Firstly, the face he makes when he makes his decision.
Tumblr media
Look at the tight line of his lips, the pain etched into his face, the pure pain in his eyes.
This is the face of someone who knows exactly how badly he is going to hurt Crowley and himself. This is an apology, an I'm sorry for what I'm about to do, this hurts me as much as it hurts you. I'm sorry but I have to.
Tumblr media
And then he winces afterwards. I don't know about you, but this is exactly the kind of face I make when I'm emotionally torturing myself with my own thoughts. For the final blow, please look at the picture very, very closely, especially the last frame, because Aziraphale isn't just sorry and he isn't just in pain.
Aziraphale is scared because he knows* that he might lose Crowley over this. He knows that saying I forgive you is (almost) unforgivable. He KNOWS.
He does it anyway because he will lose Crowley either way but he'd rather have him alive and hating him than dead.
With that I am concluding today's unhinged meta corner, thank you for your attention and you're welcome for the pain.
Also: If you want to call me a 'tin hatter' or insane or otherwise make fun of me - this is very much a girl, what were YOU doing at the devil's sacrament moment because you read my meta post all the way to the end. <3
-
*authors note: what Aziraphale thinks he knows and what is actually real is not the same thing but that's a different post

Correction: Fake! CSM is the God Devil
WAIT WAIT WAIT and if, going back over this analysis, Fake!CSM or even the famous demon that Yuko and the others had contracted with wasn't an identity or memory demon
This entity would be the demon representing the fear of God? I CAN EXPLAIN! That would explain why this demon has the appearance of Chainsaw Man
Tumblr media
As Angel explained, Chainsaw Man is the being who draws the line between death and birth for demons, the sound of chainsaws being what they hear when they are born or die.
As a result, Chainsaw Man had a natural superiority over the other demons, to the point of being feared as a divine power.
Whether it's Beam, who considered himself a follower of Chainsaw Man, or Makima, who was fascinated by him, it's an abnormal relationship between demons and CSM, tinged with veneration and fear.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chainsaw Man is a divine figure who has also become enshrined among mortals, who see him as a means of fighting against their injustices.
You see where I'm going with this, the demon resulting from the fear of God has ended up taking on the appearance of the saviour and punisher projected by both demons and humans.
This would explain why this demon didn't lie when he called himself a demon of justice, just as it explains Barem's reaction, whom he sees as his saviour, just as it explains Fake!CSM's appearance, and finally, it explains the biblical references made by the impostor.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which confirms my theory that Fake!CSM is NOT an enemy of Denji - quite the opposite, in fact. He wants the real Chainsaw Man to act, to be feared by demons and worshipped by humans, to once again reinforce the divine aspect of his image.
Tumblr media
Denji is the source of Fake!CSM's power, which is why Fami has built a church around his figure to further reinforce this aspect, and why the impostor prefers to speak in Denji's name to make a more religious statement than the real CSM, who couldn't care less about such considerations.
Tumblr media
If we were to get to know Denji as he really is, the very nature of a simple teenager would destroy his reputation for being invincible.
That's why Barem and Fami want Denji to join their cause anyway, because Chainsaw Man has to do exactly what they think will strengthen his reputation as a divine being.
Tumblr media
If Nostradamus's apocalypse is fulfilled, people will not only fear divine wrath, they'll start praying to Chainsaw Man too!
Fake!CSM is Fami's champion for countering the apocalypse, and she's only interested in making it as powerful as possible.
This also explains why the public hunters want to paralyse Chainsaw Man and prevent him from showing his face, to avoid confirming this growing reputation and veneration. I repeat, when Yoshida said those words it wasn't to help Denji but to express the will of the hunters in any case. The fact that one of them said that it would be simpler if he were a weapon doesn't detract from this. It's simpler for CSM to be a unanimous being who's easy to hide and control than an unpredictable teenager.
Tumblr media
The public hunters don't know exactly what's going on, as evidenced by their natural suspicion of Fami, whom they thought was behind this apocalypse, or by their response to the church's intentions in the last chapter. However, they do have their doubts about Fami, the knight of the apocalypse, whom they must know to be the founder of the church, and since the church relies on Chainsaw Man as the guardian of public order, it was safer for him to stop acting and not to go along with the church.
Tumblr media
Chainsaw Man is the symbol of the demons' death, which erases their names and dictates their existence, so here's a theory on what will trigger the apocalypse...
It won't be caused by one demon in particular, but by a general revolt of demons such as has already taken place in the underworld to put an end to Chainsaw Man, to this supreme demon.
When the natural death of demons no longer exists, of course, this will mean the victory of demons over humans, as foretold by prophecy.
Tumblr media
If this war breaks out, this explains why Fami Yoru believes that the demon of war is the one who will be able to counter this attack of demons.
Tumblr media
Let's go back to this prophecy :
Tumblr media
The simplest
Mars as god of war is none other than Yoru
But you know what's interesting is that according to all the thinkers analysing Nostradamus, what Nostradamus was actually predicting was not an apocalypse but an eclipse of the sun.
So this allows us to identify the other protagonists: the great King of Terror is none other than the moon that hides the sun, which will soon reappear.
The Great King of Angoulmois is none other than Denji
Overshadowed by Fake!CSM
Now you know why it only works before the sun comes out.

Sukuna and Kenjaku's Relationship
Diving into Sukuken's relationship - there’s plenty of mystery that surrounds the relationship between Sukuna and Kenjaku and I wanted to explore their interactions + some points of interest.
First starting with some of the early moments between Sukuna and Kenjaku.
The first sort of interaction we get between both is Ch. 136, with Kenjaku calling out to Sukuna:
Tumblr media
The second interaction (which is also the first time we see Kenjaku and Sukuna talking face to face) happens a bit later when Sukuna takes over Megumi's body, in Ch. 216. There’s a lovely panel of Kenjaku inquiring about Sukuna’s interest in Yoruzu:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Perhaps a bit like a jealous girlfriend, jk jk but I do love Kenjaku’s expression there haha.)
Next up, we have some of my absolute favorite interactions! From chapter 221 & 222:
1) Gojo's mommy comment and Gojo himself thinking that Sukuna and Kenjaku look to have a close relationship or at least a binding vow and 2) Ch. 222 reveals that Kenjaku stayed by Sukuna's side for a month, (since Gojo would have come after Kenjaku if he left Sukuna’s side for even an instant).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And with that I want to segue into why their relationship is so intriguing to me.
First off - why does Sukuna /the/ king of curses, who does whatever he wants when he wants, tolerate so many of Kenjaku’s whims?
It doesn’t just stop with spending a month together, starting with the obvious:
Yuji  - a vessel that can keep Sukuna sealed and is said by Gojo to be a "once in a thousand years occurrence". Sukuna himself refers to Yuji as a cage. And yet despite Yuji being a prison and general nuisance to Sukuna, there’s not really any animosity directed at Kenjaku from Sukuna for creating Yuji.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At most Sukuna comments that Kenjaku is always doing gross things [2] , but again, no negative feelings on Sukuna's part. (For Yuji on the other hand…)
Tumblr media
And that seems to be a recurring theme for them: Kenjaku involving Sukuna in his whims and Sukuna going along with it. This continues even after Kenjaku’s death, with him leaving the merger in the hands of Sukuna. Which, in my opinion, is also noteworthy because this is the culmination of at least several centuries of work from Kenjaku. His life’s work, if you will, that Kenjaku is entrusting to Sukuna.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
What does Sukuna gain from it? Or, what has Kenjaku done to earn a favor from Sukuna? You could say that there’s some sort of binding vow in place between them, like Gojo (and also what Yuji & Megumi theorize), however…
Tumblr media
Unlike other reincarnated sorcerers who needed to make a vow with Kenjaku in order to acquire a vessel/because they did not know how to turn themselves into cursed objects (like Uro), Angel states that Sukuna had already known how to split his soul into a cursed object, and then follows up in Ch. 228 by stating that Kenjaku was the one who taught Sukuna this and Sukuna only needed to see it once to replicate it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This method is what Sukuna has used to exist throughout the ages, so unlike other reincarnated sorcerers that needed Kenjaku’s help, Sukuna didn't need it and I highly doubt that Kenjaku teaching Sukuna one thing would be enough for him to put up with as much of Kenjaku’s plans as he does.
So what keeps Sukuna and Kenjaku working together in the current timeline and what has their past been like? (Even Kusukabe is wondering…) Can’t answer that, but what I can say is that it is again so intriguing to me to see just how much Sukuna takes in stride, when it comes to Kenjaku, who he has to have known at least for 1000 years. [3]
Before I close this out - I do want to add a couple of little tidbits that aren’t necessarily direct interactions between Sukuna and Kenjaku but that some might find to be of note:
Ch. 209 - Kenjaku accompanying Uruame to scout out the place for Sukuna's bath.
Tumblr media
Ch. 220 - Kenjaku bringing Tengen's mummified remains to Sukuna as a souvenir.
Tumblr media
Ch. 239 - Kenjaku talks about his requirements for friendship: 1) Never bore him. 2) Must be his equal. While the manga doesn't explicitly confirm if Sukuna fits in this category... I do want to ask, who can stand by the side of the  "evilest sorcerer in history" if not the "strongest sorcerer in history"?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ch. 206 - Kenjaku uses his domain by opening it and activating a technique without closing the barrier and in the following chapter Tengen states that it is an amazing feat and that Sukuna also used the same type of domain in Shibuya. (Battle Couple vibes anyone? lol... i wish... ;; w ;; )
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alright and that’s a wrap! If anyone feels like there’s moments I might have missed or other connections they noticed between Sukuna and Kenjaku feel free to say!
-
[1] Very big thank you to @xluna-reclipse for looking over this and helping me make sure it made sense! <3
[2] I originally wrote this before Jin’s reveal so the specifics of what Sukuna is referring to aren’t added in the main text but I will add a note about it here: Kenjaku tracking down Sukuna’s twin soul and making a baby with said twin? Just what is going on with all that!
[3] Yuki theorizes Sukuna and Kenjaku have known each other for at least 1000 years and we know that Sukuna, Kenjaku and Tengen all know each other.
[4] This has been cross posted to my JJK twitter as well: https://x.com/sphenoidfeast/status/1797463887635448244?s=46&t=FKi8j4rxOlIqGltirgeySQ

Okay here we go.
I have just found out recently that it’s canon that Cupid has been watching Nico since he was young. And as usual, it sends many thoughts spiraling.
Assuming Nicole was Christian when he was young, when he saw this winged man, bathed in white and holy divine light, he might as well think he was an angel. He probably would have told Maria or Hades that. “There's an Angel”, to which Hades would have dismissed upon realizing it was actually Cupid.
I don't know about you but it sounds magical in a way that Nico, who is an Angel in name and in a prophecy, is looked after by somewhat a resemblance of said deity. His connection to Cupid started so soon. I would like to think about it as it is a reference to Nico being the same kind of Angel as Cupid is, in the sense that Eros, or Cupid, is God of homosexuality in the Greek myth. It’s confirmed in TSATS that Nico had had a sense of his difference since the early days and felt a little bit left out, which, imo, is as best as any to be a reason for Cupid to put a tab on him. Obviously, I don't know much about Greek mythology so this is probably only me.
Tumblr media
Also, Favonius also mentioned that he had always known Nico would return to them. So I take this as that, Nico, for how much he tries to repress or run away from himself, there will surely come a time when he has to be true to what he is. To accept himself for all it has become and to realize that it doesn't make him any less of a human. It goes without saying that Cupid’s intervention was unnecessarily brutal, probably because the Greeks love tragedies, but the purpose remains true, which was to propel an essential step in Nico’s path to self-peace.
(Aphrodite liked Percabeth as the next person and she chose to make their love story ‘more interesting’ with challenges. Love gods are just unhinged, unfathomable like that)
Another thing. I have always found it fascinating how Cupid has taken an unusual interest in Nico, in particular. Nico couldn't be the only closeted person who had come to visit his place in the 30s? I like to think it has something to do with the fact that he was a son of Hades, who loved his wife enough to take up… controversial measures. Love and Death are similar, Cupid has said. Nico loves so much. His love has always run so deep – as reflected in what he did for Percy, the grief he held for Bianca, his affectionate side reserved for Hazel (bc familial love counts too) – that it impressed Cupid on a personal level so he just followed him since.

quillkiller headcanons?
HELLO!! thank you so so soooo kindly for this ask im kissing you rn bc there’s nothing i love more than talking about my darling angels
so here goes…
- bellatrix calling rita baby!! BELLATRIX!! CALLING!! RITA!! BABY!!!! this one is actually canon to me and it’s something that can be sooo beautiful and special and AAAAAA
- in a similar vein, rita calls bella darling… this one is less near to my heart but i still think it happens in literally every fic ive ever written lol
- okay this one’s a big one: rita is worse than bella at the start!! she’s offputting and more than a little stalkerish and hurts people for basically no reason and not a single soul likes her bc she’s AWFUL! and the only person who likes her is bellatrix who thinks she’s the most perfect person to have ever walked the earth, the best thing to ever happen to her even if their relationship is actively making her worse…. like i think rita doesn’t really have many morals when they meet whereas bellatrix is like. still trying to be good. i think at the start she wants to be good… and then that turns into wanting to be good for rita which is a slightly different thing that nonetheless drives me insane… but then also there are external factors and what not and she gradually loses sight of this etc etc and it ends w rita coming face to face w a line that she wouldn’t cross, a line that bella has crossed and that’s the point of no return for them in many ways (the dark mark)
- referring back to the last one again, when i say rita hurts people for no reason, to her there is always a reason, i think she cares a lot about the justification of all her actions even if it’s petty or a little irrational and ridiculous… like i think there’s always some logic that makes sense maybe only to her behind her actions and that’s why bella getting the dark mark is so unforgivable bc there’s no world in which she’d be able to somehow justify genocide even if she doesn’t actually care about the war at all
- bella on the other hand is the loyalest dog that has ever walked the earth and that’s why rita’s articles are unforgivable to her (this is the hc that rita writes an article about bella/the black family/whatever… i always think this comes just after bella gets the dark mark so rita justifies the 'betrayal' w the fact that bella betrayed her first) bc she just can’t forgive or even really fathom how rita would betray her like that bc she never would've done the same bc she's loyal to her very marrow and would've remained so even if her and rita were sworn enemies
- interesting to me also that if rita had been the one to get the dark mark (not that i think this would ever ever happen. but hypothetically) bellatrix would absolutely have followed her into being a death eater and everything. and if bella had been the one to write the article, i reckon rita would’ve probably forgiven it, probably even respected it a little…. so like even tho the two of them are so similar in many ways there’s this fundamental irreconcilable difference between them that leads to them falling apart no matter how desperately they try to cling onto each other :(
- a lot of people are like oh, they’re so toxic! but jen @quillkiller and i were talking about this the other day (most of these are things i’ve talked about w jen lmao and it wouldn’t be a post about quillkiller without jen being involved somehow… no one understands me and them like she does) and really, i think that removes a lot of the nuance, and i HATE when nuance is removed, bc i think that sure, to anyone else their relationship would seem toxic and unhealthy or whatever but for them it’s probably the healthiest thing they could have, probably the best thing that’s ever happened to either of them, i just think there’s SO much love
- so much love and sooo much romance, like to me it’s so incredibly romantic that the two of them have like allowed themselves to be shaped by the other, let someone so wholly into their soul that it’s unlikely they’ll ever be without them again, and then as it inevitably starts to fall apart the two of them are clinging by their fingertips to the edge of the cliff, just such sheer desperation as they try to make it work and complete devastation when it turns out they can’t…. like. that’s love to me. drives me crazy
- and that’s another thing!! they’re haunted by each other for the rest of their lives!! constant perpetual unending haunting, there’s no escape, there’s that fine line between love and hate and even if the feelings are all complicated now, it’s the sense that they’re SO intertwined that even though they’re apart and they don’t know what they would do if they actually saw each other face to face again, they can still see each other in everything. EVERYTHING.
- and it’s worse for rita imo (in terms of the haunting i mean) bc bella’s in azkaban, out of sight but never out of mind, and then she’s back and it’s horrible but then she’s dead and that’s even more horrible and rita carries that ghost around with her for the rest of her life, probably the only person who could still say she loved bellatrix by the time she died, even if they hadn’t spoken in decades… bellatrix is in every word she ever writes and every plan she ever makes and every single part of her life in some way. she lives in a flat that bellatrix has never been to but she’s still there in every corner of every room
anyway i could go on but ive just clocked how long this has gotten lol…. hope this is satisfactory <3

List of Mages/Angels in Hawkmoth's story
As well as inspiration from their religious counterparts. Names are taken from the Book of Enoch, but info about the Angels come from many different sources. Different aspects of the angels changes from belief to belief. I'm doing my best. All info is taken from Wikipedia and I am by no means an expert. Also I'm pretty sure what I'm doing is blasphemous. If Heaven does exist, I'm already blacklisted
Gabriel: The Hawkmoth Mage.
Gabriel is the angel that brings God's message, so it only makes sense that Hawkmoth would do the same. They believe themselves to be the Divine Messenger and bringer of retribution. Gabriel (as far as I can find) doesn't really have any items associated with him, so Hawkmoth won't either, which is also partially why he takes on some aspects of insects besides just moths on his outfit.
Uriel: The Blue Morpho Mage
Despite Uriel being the fourth angel in religious texts, The Blue Morpho Mage was the first of the Mages to be recognized in history. The Angel is frequently depicted as having a flaming sword and as a cherub. Blue Morpho wields two blades, representing the "flaming sword". Uriel is also depicted as an Angel of Repentance, which is reflected in Blue Morpho as he frequently tries to change Hawkmoth's way of thinking and put him on a path that doesn't involve the death of millions. This is also partially because the revival of The Locust Mother was his fault and the start of the Plague Incident.
Michael: The Wolf Spider Mage
In religious texts, Michael is seen as the Warrior of Heaven and an angel of death, whisking people away to Heaven after they died. He is usually in charge of God's army. As such, Wolf Spider was the Mage sent to kill The Locus Mother. While he did fail, it was not without a good fight, weakening the Threnodian to such a degree it could be managed later. In life, Wolf Spider was a jeweler with the ability to bend metals to his will. This resulted in his weapon of choice, the hammer that also could act as a shield.
Raphael: The Red Locust Mage
Raphael the Angel is usually associated with healing and the trumpets that announce Judgement Day. In some cases, Raphael is called the "Prince of Peace". Red Locust was the Mage sent to seal up The Locust Mother using whatever she could. In correspondence with "Judgement Day" and the trumpet, Red Locust was the one to finally stop the Threnodian's reign of terror bringing it Judgement. Her magic usually has a trumpet like sound to it when in use, even if it is distorted audibly. Red Locust was a field medic before her death with magic that mostly revolved around holding things in place.
Raguel: The Stag Beetle
Raguel, in religious texts is considered an Angel of Justice and the one who keeps the fallen angels in check. As such, Stag Beetle is the bringer of justice, but in a more unique way. He was once Hawkmoth's older brother, giving up his name "Gabriel" to become Raguel. The name was then handed to Hawkmoth. Stag Beetle let himself be killed by The Locust Mother so that his body would be absorbed by her and his soul could keep on eye on her, referencing how Raguel would keep an eye on demons. He had no magic before his death and is not considered a mage by technicality, only by name and association.
Sariel: The Ascalaphus (Pharoh-Eagle Owl) Mage
Sariel the Angel is an angel who watches over people and sin. He is considered a protective force and is associated with the Lunar Callender. Ascalaphus was the last Mage to learn the techniques of the followers of The Locust Mother and the second Mage to learn the techniques without relying on The Locust Mother. Her magic involves looking through the eyes of owls and other avians and on occasion using them to attack enemies similar to how Hawkmoth would use insects in similar ways.
Remiel: The Cinereous Vulture Mage
Remiel is also mostly referred to as Jerahmeel, but as he is called Remiel in the Book of Enoch, that is how I will be referring to him. Remiel is depicted as one of the guards of heaven and one of the Angels that watches over and guides the deceased into the afterlife. Cinereous Vulture does something similar in the form of being the only Mage who is a member of the Black Shores. He watches over The Locust Mother and her Mages. He was the one to come to Red Locust with three of seven spears that could seal away the Threnodian. Cinereous Vulture was also killed by Hawkmoth for an unknown reason, leaving no trace of his body behind. He was also the first mage to learn the magic techniques of The Locust Mother without relying on the Threnodian.
I'm sure I got some stuff wrong, so I do implore you all to do your own research on these topics, but here is a good introduction to the 7 Mages as well as a deeper look into their inspiration.

Lute obviously doesn’t like the idea of sinners being redeemed. (Source: all her dialogue referring to sinners, ever). But what if, in trying to turn heaven towards her ideals to gain more power, she uses the fact that redemption is possible to blame Sera for Adam’s death, then slowly changes the ideals she speaks of to fit her original violent nature with the ‘winners’ of heaven not even realising they’ve been conned into thinking something completely opposite to the original.
Lute and Adam are clearly meant to depict the more violent and prejudiced side of Christianity ( with Sera being more ignorant and stuck in her ways than actually ‘evil’, like your grandma that still says slurs because she thinks its okay) so why not go the whole way and have Lute as a cult leader type character. Using Adam as her martyr and Sera as her focal point for blame she could get a large following.
For a more in depth look, it could go something like this:
Lute finds out about Pentious, realises that she’s got barely any exterminators left to lead and that if this gets out the winners and probably some of the heaven born would want to help more people get up (i think its cannon that they don’t remember anyone from earth that went to hell, but imagine if someone were to remember Pentious and convince others that there were people in hell that they knew and loved, just didn’t remember).
She knows she can’t just straight up target Pentious, as people admire him for rising. Lute goes for the next best thing, Sera, blaming her for Adams death. With the right words the angels in the courtroom may back her up despite what she says. If Lute pretends to repent for all the killing because it wasn’t necessary she could drag people in VERY quickly with pity points from being ‘used’ by Sera. Since she lied to Emily it’s entirely possible that at this point Emily would be super on Lute’s side.
From here, Lute can start to introduce the idea that while sinners can be redeemed, the hellborn are still dangerous. After all, it’s the influence of the hellborn that keeps sinners from the path of good, right? Exterminations start again, this time ONLY for the hellborn, flipping over the deal with Lucifer entirely so the exterminators have to take on a more stealthy approach. Revenge for Adam they all stick by, and they still think that by killing overlords that they’re going to help redeem the sinners.
Emily saw how Angel was treated by Valentino so it’s entirely possible that she’d, while not a fan of the violence still agree with the main message and fall down the same path as Sera (Killing THEM protects US).
Lute can then slowly go down the line as time goes on of, not just hellborn, but also very powerful sinners, but also all sinners close to overlords ect.
If she does it right, Lute can end up with the say in who dies and who doesn’t, who has the potential for redemption and who needs to die. (This is where i see Emily falling out and suspecting that Lute doesn’t actually want the sinners to be redeemed)
Anything Sera says is the opposite of what they need to do, if she preaches non-violence to make up for her errors the irony of Lute continuing to be violent after condemning Sera for it will be completely lost and they’ll blindly follow.
Lucifer gets to intercept at times but would he find it in him to kill angels who think that they’re HELPING the redemption effort?
Lute comes off as a character who is as clever as she is tough and after losing to Vaggie in a fight she’d be inclined to take a different option.
Eventually, Lute being shunned by others in heaven would be POETIC after what she did to Vaggie, so ending this plot point with the angels finding their way through her manipulation rather than a blunt murder is how i envision it. Of course it could be a range of factors that dissolve her following.
I don’t have any hope that this would actually happen in the show due to the complexity and I’ve not even mentioned how Lilith/Eve could fit into this, I haven’t even been specific about how Lute would treat the Hotel (a multitude of different, branching points there). I think this is good purely because many people have pointed out how Lucifer seemed unbothered during the finale and fighting misinformation is significantly harder than fighting in the physical sense so the hotel would lose some of its OP standing. Similar to how Alastor got beat up in the finale so the audience don’t view him as a catch all shield for the hotel.
(If anyone writes this or anything similar as a fic/ comic PLEASE tag me. I love braindumps but forming coherent and creatively adequate works takes more time and energy than i have in me)

My employer headcanons? Real?
So, what do i make of the employers in general? Well i think i should start at their purpose! Id like to think of them as being likened to angels in way, granted they aren't, but i think that's the closest words i can use for them. Their general purpose is to make sure the world is in check, as well as the "plot", they're assistants of The Higher Powers in this way as the Higher Powers r busy doing their own things.
Employers do not care for humanity, they honestly quite dislike humanity, finding them "barbaric", "emotional", and any other word u can find to describe humanity, i guess.
Employers are siblings, they are one hell of a messy family
They follow a "code", it doesn't have an official name, but most refer to it simply as the "Employer Code". I wish i had a full list of what these are, all i really have a vague idea what they would be. I have a few that are solid codes: don't hurt/kill another employer, don't go against the higher powers (questioning them n such), and attempting to "run away" (not doing your job in an act of defiance, faking ur death, ect). If an employer breaks any of the codes, they will be given massive restrictions, if its bad enough they will be straight up exiled/killed.
The employers have their own realm they hang out in, it's really just a chill zone for them. They all have their own sections for their respective employers, basically their own house in a way lol. Usually retired employers live here
Yes, employers can be retired, it depends on what their purpose was
Employers are considered souls in a way since they aren't physical and can only interact with people/objects cuz of weird dimensional logic n stuff.
Okay! Individual employers! Right!
Auditor - the employer ever, honestly, we love auditor, dni if u don't /j. Auditor is probably gonna have the biggest write-up out of any of the other employers, not only because we know the most abt her, but also because she's my fave AHSHSHDHD. Oh. Yea. I hc Auditor as genderfluid and npd haver, i am a genderfluid auditor truther, so if u see me using fluctuating pronouns for her, that's why! Ill try and make it as comprehensive as possible tho lol. Uhm. Anyways! Auditor is the second youngest employer, her purpose is to "keep things in check" in short terms. Ironically enough, she has had a hand in not doing this, fucking up Nevada cuz she felt like it. This is NOT her job and the other employers are MAD at her for it, they do not like auditor and try to distance themselves from her. Fortunately for auditor, she doesn't like them either! She's Nevada's biggest hater and hates anyone who hates her, ur either with her or against her. She's impulsive, quick to anger, rash, unprofessional, and does everything in her power to make sure everyone knows she's cool and awsome and amazing and not to be messed with!!!! Then she trips over herself. Despite this, she's good at making plans, is very organized, best on the battlefield than any other employer, and is extremely protective of the ones she cares abt (it's. Very few but it's obvious who her favorites are). She has some control over hell, being able to have little minions of the sorts that keep an eye on things in there for her. People do not fear her, but they rather not deal with her. Oh also she loves sugar-filled food/drinks, she has a sweet-tooth lol.
Deliberator - the youngest employer. Despite his age, he is the smartest out of the employer, constantly doing research into different topics, making sure he's 10 steps ahead of everyone. He's the complete opposite of auditor in a way as he thinks more on logic than emotion. Ironically, hes very empathetic and tends to care for others he logically knows he shouldn't. He most definitely cares for humanity more than the others because of this, also he can't ever get himself to truly hate Auditor like the others do. He was most likely made to keep auditor "in check", being able to predict what auditor can and will do and using that against her, making sure she doesn't do more damage than she already has. Id like to think he has an interest in birds tho, nothing makes me think that, he just seems like a bird lover to me!
Conductor - the 3rd eldest employer. Her job is quite straightforward, she makes sure everything is perfect and in tip-top shape, cleaning up any mess others make. Because of this she is quite bossy and a complete perfectionist, freaking out whenever something goes against her perfectly made plans, even if it's completely insignificant. She can sometimes get in over her head about plans and how everyone is going to manage it, obsessing over small details. She tends to be more backhanded than the other employees, very passive-aggressive if u will, rarely letting others know how she truly feels about something. Also id like to think she likes to gossip with Stygian and Deliberator alot.
Stygian - the eldest employer. His job is to maintain the spirit realm and help lost souls to the others side. He maintains purgatory and the parts of hell Auditor doesn't have control over. Its a quite simple job compared to the others as it doesn't need as much thought and 4D chess playing to do, though who says guiding lost souls and making sure they don't get fucked up is an easy job? Knowing how Nevada is today, Stygian must be one hell of a busy guy. He's quite emotionally distant and tends to just do what he needs to do. Like. If you tell him a joke he'll just. *look* at you, he may have found it humorous but he doesn't laugh. People find him quite cold and distant because of this, though he's just am old man who wants to be left alone, but doesn't mind the company of his siblings every once in a while.
Uhhh yea i think that's everything.... It was nice to let that out of my system... I might have missed a few things/misinterpreted something... Sorry if i have! It's been a while since I've re-watched anything.. I honestly tried playing mpn2 again but i remembered why i stopped playing it! It set my computer on fire! O.o (not literally!! It was just so incredibly hot after only 20 minutes!! Sigh...)
U may not agree with everything ive said, and that's okay! Just don't be a jerk abt it, ok?

It's been a while since I've watched Wynonna Earp but I just remembered some details and it got me thinkin about the au:
Are we keepin with the show's canon and going with a "Tara's not even a Carpenter (or I guess Loomis in this au)/fully human" twist? If so, how would that go?
(Also do you got any thoughts about who the other characters would be? Like who would be the stand-in for Doc/Nicole/Xavier/etc. Omg wait you could combine this au with the other half-sister au and have a Willa stand-in as well)
SWAGGER. (that's just how i refer to you in my head. i know you have a name. sorry.) THANK YOU FOR ASKING.
So I have virtually no story actually planned out, but like everything else, it will lightly follow the plot and I'll pick and choose what is most fun. I have most of the character's roles planned out.
Tara not being a Loomis is 100% happening. She got that ~ angel ~ blood in her.
(I made Christina's maiden name Carpenter in this, along with several other AUs for simplicity. And like, technically we have nothing in canon that disapproves the idea that it is her surname and her husband took her name. Obviously, that isn't true, but it exists in the area of small things that are never mentioned because why would they.)
SO. Tara was always called Carpenter. Billy never let her take her name, he knew she wasn't his all along. Christina tells Sam it's just because Sam is the heir, not Tara, so only Sam can take the Loomis name. Sam changes her name to Carpenter too after her grandmother Nancy loses it shortly after Billy's death. She wants to distance them from all that.
I really thought hard about whether I wanted a Willa in this AU, and ultimately decided not to. I think Sam has oldest-sibling vibes and fits growing up under the weight of a legacy, and Tara is only going to have Sam on her side vs Waverly who was loved by her mother and Wynonna.
ANYWAY. Some other characters!
Kirby Reed (27), Deputy Marshal of the Black Badge Division, and her lab technician Mindy Meeks-Martin (21). They show up after Sam gets back into town and some bodies start happening. (The Dolls and Jeremy characters, except Mindy is there from day 1.)
Chad (21) is a Mercedes-type character. Just around to serve looks, be catty, and run the family property business after his sister decided to abscond to some secret government lab job.
Stu 'Doc' Macher. Sidekick to the Ghost of the West, and recently, Billy. Billy finds him in the well shortly after Sam is born, and keeps him around to help take down the revenants. Billy throws him back down the well shortly after his wife leaves, blaming him. He'd caught them speaking together in hushed tones shortly before, and acting suspiciously. He even accuses him of being Tara's father. He acted as a bit of an absent uncle to the girls.
There's not really a Nicole figure. What there is is Judy Hicks, fresh into town because Sheriff Dewey Riley needs a deputy. She brings with her her son, Wes (19). Wes works at the station doing grunt work, and when he's not working, he's being sweet on Tara. Judy is ignorant of the supernatural, and even after things start to happen, she remains in denial.

Angels/demons vs humans let's go
((For clarity: I've referred to them as angels and demons because those are the names we commonly call them. It's important to note that "angel" means "messenger," and the idea of angels and demons that we're most familiar with is Platonic. In the Bible, our spiritual enemy is called "the satan," which means "the adversary." We know that the satan is not just one, but many demons, who hate humanity and try to keep us away from God; and that they used to be with God in the way that the creatures we call "angels" are, because they're the same kind of creature, which is "elohim." Therefore, I've put them into one category for the sake of this "Venn diagram," and will henceforth refer to them under the collective name "spiritual beings.")) (please keep in mind that I am simplifying things quite a bit, because 1. I'm not an expert, and 2. I have work in four hours.)
Ok first let's talk about our similarities:
- made in God's image (aka we're God's kids)
- have the ability to influence others on a spiritual level (truth vs lie, gentleness vs wrath, etc.)
- can be sent from God for an angelic purpose (according to the above-mentioned definition)
- have the capacity for good or evil
- are spiritual beings with form
- are involved in the spiritual war (by virtue of choosing good or evil)
- were made to glorify God
- are called gods and have authority over things on Earth; also have hierarchies amongst ourselves
- cannot easily exist in the physical world without a body to inhabit (2Cor 5:6-8; Mark 5:1-13)
The ways in which humans are unique:
- were given physical bodies and live in the physical world. These bodies are us, and belong solely to us, but also function as houses which we can share with other spirits (note: God has appeared to us in visions in the same form as He's given us, though far more radiant, and became a human to save us)
- can accept co-heirship with Christ, who is above all spiritual beings; though that does include us, it appears to mean that we'll also be over the other spiritual beings (and in fact, we can exercise this authority as an ambassador would even while our bodies are alive, as long as our spirits are) (also this seems to mirror the way Jacob was Isaac's heir instead of Esau, though that's just my brain braining; I'm not sure how much correlation there actually is)
- while our bodies are alive, can still choose whether or not we follow God; this choice appears to be much more flexible than it is for spiritual beings, though it does become irreversible once our bodies die or Jesus returns to bring the new creation
- start our lives spiritually dead because of the Curse (our intended state is fully alive, but we have to choose life)
The ways in which spiritual beings are unique:
- can come in many forms (meaning their specialties appear to have direct correlation with their visual forms: seraphim being healers and fiery snakes with wings; cherubim being throne-carriers and worshippers, with many wings, eyes, and faces, and whose souls are kept within intersecting wheels; demons being described as darkness; etc.)
- in the vein of above, can change forms (taking human shape in multiple recorded places, including other mythologies; a spirit in 1Kings and 2Chron "going out and being a lying spirit," implying that they were not one all the time; etc.)
- are all submitted to God's authority (meaning that though they do have the ability to choose whether they want to continue to be His children, they all fear God.
- In the vein of all above, this choice fundamentally changes them in a way that appears irreversible (this choice to become separate from God contrasts with our choice to become alive from death)
My conclusion: humans are just another kind of elohim, sitting in our own place in the hierarchy and with our own role in this big spiritual war
Ok, that's all I can think of right now. If anyone has any questions or additions, please feel free! Again, I'm not an expert, and I haven't read Enoch, but any opportunity to research is welcome <3
@toytanks my friend, is this what you wanted? Are you happy with the thing you asked for? I give it freely. Eat and be merry.

hello,i am chinese.I love ur fanfiction in ao3 about french revolution.I' d like to know how u feel about saint-just and robespierre and their relationship.
Hi!!! Thank you sm <3 this is my first ask ever haha !
In my ffs the relationship and the romantic sparkle between them is more an idea of fiction. I can not stress this point enough because I dislike the „radical“ ship-culture that sometimes is present in fandoms about historical events, which often fails to differentiate between historical fact and fiction. The „they were roommates“-trope is often met with eye rolls but serves as a necessary reminder that for most historical figures there is no evidence for romantic interaction and in my opinion it would be rude to assume they had!
All this applies to the Robespierre/Saint-Just relationship. Historically, they were two figures who talked, wrote letters and spend time together. The sources we have about their relationship should be put in context with their historical time to fully understand it and not misinterpret them as something more than friends as a person of todays time likely would, since not everyone wants to do the necessary research. Some of the sentences written sure sound really intense for us – I‘m looking at you, 1790-August-letter from Saint-Just saying „you whom I only know, like God, through his miracles“ – but they get a new context if one looks at the friendship-culture of that time and the idea of fraternité. It sure is a strong sentence after all haha! I would be lying if I said it did not touch me while reading it, also reading their correspondence and of course reading about their shared death. There is a certain beauty to die for ones ideals and doing it together can easily get romanticised with tropes such as „shared destiny“ etc etc.
I gathered all these little things about their relationship and hold it dear to me, transform the feelings I get from it into vibes and these vibes into fiction. And I think it is very important to always be able to separate the historical figures from the idea we have of them: it‘s the only way you can keep history a hobby and a profession at the same time.
What intrigued me the most about their relationship and made me want to write about them is the symbolism they offer! Saint-Just happened to be a little history-crush of mine ever since we read his speech against the king in middle-school. Sadly, I forgot about him until I started studying at university and worked on french 1800 century. art. There I read about him again and learned his nickname of „archangel of death“ and people calling his writings „evangelism of Saint-Just“. I was obsessed! I love angle symbolism, it offers such a variety to give a deeper meaning to a text.
I fell for the idea of Saint-Just being a young revolutionary, described as angelic, yet cruel and deadly. He was a symbol of radicalism for me and dragged me (and still drags) in a philosophical dilemma between holding such ideals of freedom and equality but creating a thing like the Terror.
Robespierre being referred to as „ you whom I only know, like God “ only helped to build the symbolism around angel and christian martyrs. He of course is a highly interesting person and I wish to read more of his speeches.
In „Dying in a hottub“ one can already collect small allusions to the angel-symbol such as him gifting lilies (the flower of archangel Gabriel) to Robespierre or his fascination of Justicia and the scale (a devise also linked to archangel Michel). I plan to expand on this theme in later chapters. I hope the reader can see how I let my modern-AU Saint-Just struggle with his everyday life, the role which he wants to fullfill in university and the role he wants to fullfill in his friend circle. The root of his struggles lies in being an idealist with unattainable aspirations making him feel lost. Sometimes I feel this way too, to be honest.
My modern-AU Robespierre finds himself in the same position: Unable to follow all of his ideals. But he on the other hand, tries to find a compromise and to understand why he can't achieve them and consequently what changes have to be made to fullfill them. He does struggle too of course, but he is better in finding compromises. He is aware of his position in life and maintains composure, while Saint-Just feels lost. To him Robespierre appears steady as if he faces no struggles at all, making him admirable in his eyes.
In „My love language is killing annoying people for u“ I play around with the themes of trust and passage of time. They are trusting each other while struggling to rely on anybody else. They share many moments together although destiny only grants them little time. These tragic counterparts inspired me to write about this relationship!
Puh! I never really wrote this exposition down, it had only been in my head until now haha I hope it makes sense!! Thank you for reading my ff and please feel free to reach out to me I love talking about it and hearing what others think <3

you can call me angel, i am a switch vers. this is approximately one half hard kink blog, one half place for me to make posts for the sake of saying words in varying orders with varying levels of comprehensibility. check below for the highlights, general overview is as follows. my icon is real bird taxidermy because it fucks. i do not content tag posts that are not my own, except for cnc-related posts explicitly mentioning rape, which are tagged #rapekink. sometimes this blog runs on queue and sometimes it gets abandoned for a few weeks. that's because it's my blog and i post primarily for my own entertainment. you're welcome to flirt with me but i have insane levels of social deficit type autism, and having conversations with people i do not know, while sometimes very fun, also tends to be deeply exhausting and stressful, so i cannot promise anything will come of it. however, deleted mutuals are always welcome to send me a dm or ask about whether i have any of their old posts, i enjoy going through the archives of this blog whenever it could help. my personal tag is #saintly thoughts.
as an advertisement and warning, on this blog you may see posts about:
-consensual nonconsent, including content that directly refers to rape
-dubious consent, including intoxication and somnophilia
-corruption, mindbreaking, manipulation, gaslighting, and abusive dynamics
-fearplay, including kidnapping/captivity, gratuitous bodily harm, and threats of death. may also include snuff, but generally i'm more into the threat of being killed than the actual idea of it
-gender play, in the sense of non-detransition related forced feminization and masculinization
-primal, predator/prey, and petplay
-monsterfucking, oviposition, egg pregnancy and laying
-size difference and object insertion
-fauxcest, heirophilia, dollification, hypnosis, overstimulation and edging, exhibitionism, impact play, knifeplay, general bdsm dynamics, and more.
i try to keep this post updated with at least my most regular topics, but this is not an exhaustive list.
soft limits:
gore, necrophilia, age regression, boot licking/humping, violence that involves losing teeth, scarification/tattooing, parental fauxcest, direct snuff, gunplay
these are things you might see posts about occasionally but i’d prefer not to be engaged with on. if i’m reblogging posts that include them, it’s either enjoyment from a nonsexual or very abstracted perspective, something i’ve reblogged because it includes other elements i do enjoy, or something that i am just starting to explore interest in but haven’t figured out how i enjoy it.
hard limits/filtered tags:
pregnancy/birth, lactation, hucow, piss, scat, vomit, abdl, armpits, detransition, misgendering, feeding/feederism, beastiality, feet, needles/piercing, amputation, castration, extreme body modification
i’m not going to block you if you follow me and post about any of my hard limits. i follow plenty of people who post about some of them but post about other stuff i like, that’s why i have the tags filtered. i just might not follow you back if that’s your main focus. i pass no judgements on kinks as long as they’re between consenting parties and you’re not trying to put your kink content on the posts of people who don’t want it there.
if i block you, it's most likely because i looked at your blog upon you following me and could not determine your age or even if you were a real person. i also tend to block cishet people, as i would rather they not interact with my personal content.
if you see me tagging posts with #🎥 don't worry about it. i have two guys i made up in my head for the purpose of putting each other through physical and emotional hell in the form of a long term relationship and sometimes i see things that make me think of their brand of excessively unethical freak sex.

Yeah, I wanted Belial *cough* but I guess Florence took pity on me and wanted to save my wayward soul. It's a very pretty card tho, but, yeah. ^^" Just gonna look at them online from now on lmao Also, they totally are brothers! They were made at the same time, so they totally are twins. Belial is obviously the evil twin. But for a while they were the only two primals in existence, so nobody understood them like they did each other. It's so interesting and tragic. Estranged siblings,,,
oh my god the character gap between those two.
you wanted Mister Horny and you got the Local Big Sister going :). What do you want sweetie :).
But Flo is always good so it's fine, love her so much.
But yeah at this point Online looking is best lmao
and YESS exactly THAT'S the reading!!!
Belial is DEFINITELY the evil twin in this scenario LMAO but i do love this idea of. Yeah man, at a time there was only the two of them, and at the time, they were equals.
Belial's raid quest has this flashback of when other angels started to be created and Belial started to refer to Lucifer by using honorifics and Lucifer is uncomfortable with that because no??? Belial was always his equal, the one person who knew him better than anyone else, he never, ever wanted this type of distance, while Belial was arguing that it was so the younger angels all follow this lead and knows to refer Lucifer as a leader, while we know it's probably also just Belial's bitterness starting to really settle in after Lucilius chose Lucifer one time too many over Belial...
And the whole way of how Lucifer is clearly "the favorite child" really builds Belial as the guy who resent Lucifer not because he particularly hates him or anything, but because he'll never be loved the way Lucifer is loved, and he knows it pisses him off even more bECAUSE he cares about Lucifer that way as well. All while rejecting the way Lucifer loves him because he can't look past the fact Lucifer is the Favorite Son.
It's just such an interesting dynamic and now that i think about it, it's very Cain and Abel of them, ironically. (considering our actual Cain and Abel in the story aren't very Cain and Abel-like).
It just reads so well as estranged siblings, the fact that Unconditional Love was here, and it was never enough. It's just sooo compelling with that lense i'm obsessed with this reading. It's so complex and it still makes me sad.
I still love to think that even after death Lucifer still wishes things would have been different with Belial, and it's why i have this overlong headcanons about how if Lucifer comes back to life he'd try to fix things with Belial even if Belial is kicking and screaming about it, despite the fact Lucifer has been the victim of the worst kind of betrayal from him. Like it's just, how unconditional this whole thing is, because they have been together from the start and maybe it should also be how it ends yaknow?
Just. Man i love Lucifer&Belial Twin readings. I love Sibling angst. It its them so well 😭

Scrapped ALT medevil reboot
Tumblr media
I thought to share this scrapped concept along with designs I made for giggles ages ago back in the Dream.Selfy days. As of rn nothing officaily changed from Olivia's current story. So, I suppose this will be a AU were instead of being the direct daughter herself olivia is a modern day blood relative of sir dan. _____________________________________ Jalil Zalam: Alzalam's line after Al took a mortal bride years prior.he is the class clown and is known to always forget is homework. Is a chaotic neutral. Noel Carter: his ancestor is the evil warlock Zarok.he shares many personality traits with the warlock but wishes to not follow a dark path like him.Wich is hard as he has a short temper and can be rather crash.htowards olivia he has a deep respect and admiration he holds to her.he just does not know how to communicate his feelings for others. He currently is being blamed for odd events that are starting to happen. Felix Demos: related to Lord Kardok, Noel's best friend and biggest defender. he does not talk often but is a large, strong intimidating teen. Avery Taylor: Canny tim's blood. Studious and ever stuttering he and Primrose are actively together. He often helps tutor other students. Yasmin Karim: related to Kiya and the late Pharoh. one of two of Olivia's besties. she is level headed and not afraid to throw hands if needed. Olivia Fortesque: Tall and awkward she wears her heart on her sleeve. She tries to be nice to everyone and is often oblivious when someone is trying to be cruel unless VERY out right nasty. She is very into trying to solve the current issues at hand to have people leave Noel alone.Noel was her child hood bestie until he suddenly started being distant.
Primrose Davis: related to the good witch. she enjoys cooking for her friends and is totally the "mom" of the trio. soft spoken and caring. she and Avery are dating. Clayton Steadfast: the relation is obvious by the last name. The two lackies of Joseph whoi joins in tormenting everyone.mainly the two favorites to bother is Noel and Avery. Much like his ancestor he has a long standging friendship with his respected Sternguard. He is for sure VERY meat headed and not always the brightest. Edward Sternguard: out of Joseph;s two "lackys" Edward is the smarter of the two.But he can get equally as rowdy as Claytin and is often a follower type while Clayton does not often think for himself.Edward shows more emotion and expresses regret at times but still goes along with the ither two on making things hard for Noel. Joseph Marrows: he is a descendent of Woden the Mighty. Sharp tongued and deeply fond of bullying everyone.but even they are afraid of him.He is not above taking things too far.esepcailly when it coems to bother Noel. calling him a freak like his ancestor and being one of the first to voice blame on him when things start to go odd at the school and local city. He even mocks Olivia who...also intimidates him given ehr height so he does not often bother her especially when it comes to Yasmin.Yasmin had beat the crud out of Joseph many a time . Vanessa Palethorn: the typical "mean girl". spoilt af and very judgmental. She often clash heads with Joseph in the "I rule the school" category. she often sees her self above everyone else and refers to them as "peasants". her favorite target is Olivia. She wishes to make her miserable but not much ever wipes the smile off olivia's face.Similar to noel she is aware of her ancestor and has read into the tings he done and is interested in the occult. But she is far too lazy to commit to actually causing trouble in that regard. especially considering her precious complexion could be compromised by the use of dark magic. Mr. Victor grim: Headmaster of the school.is actually the angel Azrael. Angel of death/ the reaper's boss. was predicted a third event would happen at a larger scale that could affect all over beyond modern Gallow mere. was predicted to help fight those with hero's blood would come around.Just sadly the day is coming far sooner given the possible heros are nothing but teens. very much untrained teens. Ms. Evangeline Engel: The very much beloved writing teacher. is actually the angel uriel. She joined her companions to help keep an eye on the budding heros.
Mr. Art O'neal: the cool biology teacher. He is actually the angel Jophiel in human form.Is here for the same reason as uriel and Azrael

Reflection on the Life of Doctor Dieudonné: I
By Chloe Talbot
On Saturday, October 23, 2008, elder vampire and physician, Geneviève Dieudonne was found rendered into ash in her Tri-West apartment.
Geneviève Dieudonné died sixteen years ago at the age of 592 in Las Angeles, California. As of now, the exact cause of death is still unknown. It could have been murder, it could have been suicide, she might have left the blinds open and gotten scorched by the sun. But, that leaves us with the facts. I, At the News You Use, will write a series of reflections on the life of Doctor Geneviève Dieudonné, using diaries and newly discovered letters not to paint a biography of a woman who shaped humanity but to give psychological and philosophical insight into her. Let’s start broadly at the beginning and end of her life. Dieudonné was born the daughter of a physician in 1416 and turned 16 years later by a vampire named Chandagnac. She describes the process of her vampirism as occurring very slowly with the bite happening first, followed by Chandagnac gradually feeding her his blood over a lengthy period. I believe that it’s this slow, almost deathless process that caused her to feel a distance between herself and others of her kind.  Her life between being turned and the time when Dracula brought vampirism into the proverbial light. Her diaries make mention of her having multiple careers as a doctor, soldier, sex worker, etc while name-dropping some famous figures like Joan of Arc and Mircalla Karnstein. There are also indications of her living in Asia at points in her lifetime with letters from 1899 indicating familiarity with the changing importance of feudal Japanese cities. Her diary entries spanning from 1888-2001 are where we have the strongest insights into her personality. They’re also the records we have that have survived so perhaps sitting in some cellar somewhere are fresh thoughts of a younger Dieudonné.  In 1888, she was one of the many vampires who found a home in Dracula’s England after the Prince Consort attempted to turn the empire into something of a Nosferatu homeland after she was forced out of her native France. She worked at a free clinic in Whitechapel during the time of the Ripper Murders, even attending to the vampire women who would become victims of the Ripper.  It’s around this time that we have a few diary entries that illustrate her thoughts on vampires of the Dracula bloodline in particular, “My blood of the pure bloodline of Chandagnac might have healed Lily, might have washed out the taint of Dracula’s grave mold, might have made her whole again…” This statement was written after a failed attempt to heal a vampire child who died after failing to shapeshift into a bat. It illustrates this paternalism that Dieudonné had in spades, but also this separation she feels from others of her kind. A sense of superiority.  In letters to a minor government worker named Charles Beauregard, she refers to many of the Dracula bloodline, including the man himself as having “Child brains” and having odd quirks or fixations that she finds herself lacking.  I want to use a philosopher that the doctor probably would have appreciated, a French woman named Julia Kristeva. When the philosopher speaks about the abject as something separate from or cast off from the self. In this Dieudonné is the “self” and most other vampires are cast off for her to react to. In her essay, Approaching Abjection, Powers of Horror, she states this, “The corpse (or cadaver: cadre to fall), that which has become irremediably come a cropper, is cesspool, and death; it upsets even more violently the one who confronts it as fragile and fallacious chance.”  So, this leads me to believe that this is how Dieudonné saw the world of vampires. She fell within Kristeva’s framework of seeing these stupid, walking corpses and she couldn’t help but to think of herself as separate from them because of the circumstances of her turning.
But in this way, she could keep more aspects that make herself a whole person. The three original brides of Dracula remain nameless to this day, their personalities gone and replaced by animalistic bloodlust with broadly human traits. The only brides anyone can ascribe names to are Queen Victoria and Wilhemina Murray, who died young like many of Dracula’s bloodline. So, perhaps Dieudonné was right to see the world in this stark contrast between herself and other nosferatu. But setting herself apart like this, meant that she could not conform to either warm or vampire society without being purposefully set apart. Christina Santos described a similar phenomenon in her book, Unbecoming Female Monsters where she uses a fictional vampire named “Isabel” created by Carmen Boullosa for the novella of the same title. “Isable’s monstrosity is not because of her vampirism but more so because of her newfound sexual freedom-as a vampire she still appears human but her abnormal sexual freedom inherently demonizes her because of its opposition to the norm of female chastity and submissiveness.” However, in the real Dieudonné, her separation from society is in a different sort of bucking against the norms. She was a doctor, for starters for centuries, coming back to the same role over and over. Doctor and a detective. In one of her letters describing her life just before Dracula’s rise, she describes being a member of “les goules,” a group of medical students at the University of France studying in the morgue and learning how to perform autopsies for criminal investigations, an occupation that was seen as morbid and unfeminine even before her nature as a vampire was revealed to the college and to her fellow students who would later go on to dissect a vampire huckster De Coulteray. The same vampire who would out her as a member of the living dead to her classmates and would-be colleagues. This is all a long-winded way to say that her sexual independence was quite secondary to other forms of independence and breaking from traditional femininity that bucks up against society no matter which group she ran with.
