All I’m saying is that because of the timing Picasso could have seen Goncharov

i love the thought of gale having a really nice singing voice.
sometimes, when people are teasing bucky after he gets done jumping on the mic (uninvited), he’ll insist to anyone who’ll listen that “ah, well, someone’s gotta lighten the mood up in here, y’know?” and, with sudden pride colouring his expression, “now my buddy buck here, he sings like an angel. but so long as he won’t get up and entertain you fellas, well…”
nobody really believes him because no one ever actually hears buck’s singing voice because, frankly, he’d rather die than get up and sing in front of an crowd.
bucky’s heard it, though. along with a random little assortment of officers who’ve managed to catch him unawares in their shared quarters as he hums under his breath to some tune on the radio.
deep and soulful, rich and smooth and unhurried. so far from home, it strikes a nostalgic chord in bucky, at least. always and without fail.
it ends up being one of the only things that stops bucky’s mind wandering into the abyss some of those cold, deathly bleak winter nights squished up against buck in the stalag.
hushed, rumbling melodies breathed into the minuscule space between them in the dead of night, when all the men in their cabin were asleep. only for bucky’s observation. low and slow, rumbling under his breath, buck’s voice gave him at least that one solitary shred of peace he needed to get through the night.

things we learn about mulder in s1
he wanted to be an astronaut when he was young, and stayed up all night when he was 14 to watch his hero do a walk in space
he's scared to death of fire because his friend's house burned down when he was a kid
he went to oxford 10 years before the start of s1, where he dated phoebe and they, at the very least, made out on arthur conan doyle's grave (but it's implied they went all the way)
he is a fan of like. all of the sports. i cannot keep up with them all, but he sure can
he had his first case at the age of 28, where an agent died because he wouldn't take a risky shot
(and he remembers everything about the man who died- his kids, their ages, what they do for fun- all of it haunts him)
((he also, at the trial for the man who killed the agent, screamed that he "should die like an animal, you son of a bitch"- so much for cool and composed spooky mulder))
he always falls asleep on his couch to the point where i don't even know if this man has a bed
before being moved to the x-files, he worked for 3 years at the behavioral science unit, where he profiled serial killers
(also literally no one wants him on the x files they just keep him around because he is too dangerous to fire lmao)
he will go out of his way to make any kids involved a case he's assigned to feel comfortable and/or laugh as a break from the Heavy Moments (probably because he remembers being questioned while very young and how awful it felt)
he believes that siblings have a psychic connection (heartbreaking when you remember his sister disappeared when he was 12 and he only has access to the memories due to hypnosis)
he refused to let his parents call him by his first name and only went by "mulder", even as a child

me and my friend were talking about lucy and cooper encountering "the little white chapel" in vegas and while it might be fucked up and all, elvis is still there. or a robot elvis who's initiative of marrying people has morphed into not letting anyone who comes in leave without being married (so anyone lone wanderers were killed) and lucy is like "shoot the robot." and cooper's like "i'm not killin' 'im, that's elvis." meanwhile this is the mf they're dealing with
