Man is too tall to be in Japan lmao, that one time he was walking with Mikey, he miscalculated how much he would need to bend to enter the door way. Ended up bonking his face straight into the wall.

He is barely ever sleep at night, reasons: overthinking, living in a brothel and most importantly, Baji and Mikey who send him random videos that he has to pretend to not find funny. Like that one time Baji sent him a video of Spongebob saying ‘YOAIMO’ on loop.

He is so quiet sometimes you would think there is something wrong. What actually goes in his mind is: ‘What if Baji suddenly shat in his pants again in the middle of a fight?’ or ‘if the earth is round, is it Mikey’s fault?’

A/N: Not me using my current life situation for a fanfic lmao- jk. I’m not gonna say this is fully based off of what’s going on in my life right now, but it kind of is lol. This is nothing crazy like my other fics, this is just my way of letting off some steam. Anywho… I hope y’all enjoy this little Sam fic!

You were tired of him. So, so tired of him… But you couldn’t let go.

No matter what you did, he was always on your mind. You had met Sam years ago, the universe bringing you together at the worst possible moments, every single time. No matter what you and Sam did, it was always the worst timing for one or the other. It was eating you up inside. He was all you wanted and no matter what you did, he was always seemingly so distant from you.

But how did he feel so far, but so close all at once?

Thought after thought, daydream after daydream… Sam practically consumed you.

Sure, you had your days where he never even crossed your mind. but it seemed like those days were few and far between.

However, even with his claims of not wanting a relationship, he didn’t exactly do his part in letting you

be. He always knew just when to reach out, reeling you back in… right where he wanted you. He could never let you get too far. Neither of you could stray too far from each other for that matter and you begged to know what was keeping you both so drawn to the other.

After countless nights sleeping on Facetime, texting almost all the time, calling just to see what the other was doing at random times of the day, it all stopped. It was sudden and shocking to you, but even though it made you upset, you couldn’t bring yourself to be mad at him. A part of you pleaded to let go of Sam, but your heart and soul overruled in that decision.

You craved him…

‘Please bring him back to me,’ you would beg in your mind, not so patiently waiting for the next time he would each out.

And that’s exactly where you were right now. Lost in deep thought of the beautiful boy, begging the universe to bring him back to you again. For good this time…

You couldn’t keep letting him come back, just to ghost you again.

Despite the urges to reach out, most of your past efforts to do so ended up useless… The line ringing and ringing until either you just hung it up, or you finally reached the dreaded automated voice, taunting you that the man on the other end, couldn’t be bothered to answer.

You were more than aware, that the whole situation was teetering the line of toxic and unhealthy at this point, but you just couldn’t let Sam go.

You laid in your bed, staring up at the ceiling and humming the song he had played one time. You had never stopped listening to it… Often times the closest thing you had to him, when you didn’t hear from him for weeks or months at a time.

You didn’t want to do it… You were fed up with almost always being the one to reach out first. It made you feel desperate- And while you kind of were, You couldn’t have Sam knowing that.

You had successfully manifest him once before, but couldn’t understand what had been blocking your recent attempts.

But, you picked up your phone anyway, opening it and going straight to his pinned contact in your text messages. You clicked it, fingers hovering over the keyboard.

‘Should I even bother..?’ You asked yourself.

Suddenly, an incoming call taking over your screen, practically scared you senseless. Your breath hitched, eyes going wide in pure disbelief, at the specific ringtone that was sounding through your phone and the name that displayed. With hands shaking violently, you hit the little green button.

“Hello?” You answered cooly. You didn’t want to sound nervous or show any sort of major emotion towards him. You lifted the phone in view of your face when you felt ready, revealing the man you’d been dying to talk to, grinning on the screen.

“Still picking up after just two rings, huh?” He teased at your eagerness.

“I already had my phone in my hand,” you lied straight through your teeth. “I should have just declined it, like I started to.” You shot at him. It came out dripping with annoyance, but still managed to sound too playful for your liking.

“Please, you couldn’t ignore my calls if you wanted to.” he said, as if it was the most obvious thing ever.

His constant teasing and borderline cockiness always made you weak. You couldn’t figure out why you loved it so much, but you did.

“You’re right, I guess.” You giggled, giving into him as you always did. You always melted away at his voice.

“So what made you call me, stranger?” You broke the short silence that had fallen over.

“I wanted to talk to you and… see you.” Sam said hesitantly. Your jaw dropping slightly at his words.

“You want to what??” You questioned, at an utter disbelief of his words.

“You want to what?!” He mocked you, with a little laugh.

“I want to see you, Y/N.” He repeated, his tone was warm and honest this time.

“Sammy… You know I can’t leave here. I have a show tomorrow..” You pointed out.

“I didn’t say YOU had to leave,” He chuckled. “I’ll come see you. If I leave right now, I’ll be there at 11.” He seemed to have everything figured out already.

“Sam…?” You couldn’t keep doing this with him. It almost felt like you were just a convenience for him and you couldn’t take it.

“What?” He answered curious to what you had to say.

“I don’t know if this is a good idea. I’ve tried to see you so many times and you always blow me off…” You began to ramble. “And on top of that, you only talk to me when you feel like it. I feel too deeply for you to keep doing this, Sam.” You release an unsteady breath into the silence that fell over both of you.

He let out a heavy sigh. You knew he was preparing to give you another empty apology.

“I know, Y/N. I’m sorry, I really am..” you rolled your eyes. “I know i’ve said that so many times now, but I mean It this time. I can’t keep letting you go. I want to be with you… I really do.” He confessed. As much as you wanted to believe him, you couldn’t keep letting him off so easily.

“I need actions, Sam. You’re always giving me empty apologies and broken promises…” You said weakly, pain taking over you.

You looked at him intently through the phone, watching him get up and walk somewhere in his room. Without a word from him, he jerked a suitcase from his closet, tossing it to the bed.

“Sammy, what are you doing?” You questioned.

“Coming to see you.” He stated simply. He propped his phone against something, leaving you to watch him pull clothes out and throw them into the suitcase.

“I’m not blowing you off this time.” He assured, looking directly at you through the phone.

“You’re really gonna leave tonight?” You asked, shocked at his spontaneous decision.

“I’m packing this bag and i’m leaving, yes.” He answered in a duh tone. You laughed at him and you could see a small smile break over his lips.

You’d never even kissed Sam, but you wondered often how incredible it would feel to have his lips and hands all over you. Sure you both had talked about it, but for one reason or another, you had never actually done anything.

“Whatcha thinkin’ about over there?” He laughed at you.

“You’re actually coming here? Right now?” You continued on in denial, much to his amusement.

“Yess, I am, Y/N.” He groaned in fake annoyance. He placed a few other things in his suitcase, zipping it up and placing it down on the floor.

Coming over and picking up his phone, he carried you along with him to find his keys.

“I’m just surprised, okay!” You defended. You felt your stomach flutter at the sound of his keys.

“I won’t believe it, until you’re standing at my door.” You told him honestly.

Your trust in him really was low…

“Well, be waiting by it. I’ll see you in a few hours.” He continued to laugh at your disbelief. “I’ll text you when I get to the bridge, okay?” He asked, bring the phone back up so you could see each other.

“Okay..” You spoke softly, watching him get in the car. You weren’t sure what emotions you were feeling, or how you would feel when he got to your apartment. All you cared about was that he was actually coming to see you. For real this time.

“I’ll see you in a few hours.” He said, starting up the car.

“See you in a few hours.” You repeated his words back to him.

He hung up, leaving you to stare off in complete shock. The feelings were so overwhelming, making you too antsy to sit still any longer.

You got up immediately, cleaning your entire apartment and pacing around like a mad man every so often. You were thankful that it killed most of your time, but you were wishing that it had helped to calm you more.

After finishing your bedroom, all you had left to clean was the living room.

Your heart skipped at the sound of your phone notifying you of a text.

You walked over to where it laid on your dresser, seeing a text from Sam.

Sammy-boy: ‘Be there in 30 minutes, maybe less’

You were certain you were going to throw up, but part of you still didn’t believe him.

As if he read your mind, he sent another text

Sammy-boy: *started sharing his location with you*

Your hand flew over your mouth once his location loaded, seeing that he was really coming across the bridge to where you lived.

The short 30 minutes you had left to wait, you swore felt like another 3 hours. You couldn’t sit, trying to find any and everything to contain your nerves for the remainder of the time.

You jumped at the knock on the door, all but running down the hall into the the living room.

You stood shakily, hand over the doorknob, trying to gather yourself as best you could.

You opened it, revealing a smirking Sam. You smiled at him widely, both of you just staring in shock. You stepped to the side to let him in. He wasted no time putting his suitcase down and extended his arms out to you. The moment you surely thought would have you running to the closest bathroom, actually had you doing the opposite. You stepped into his arms right away, letting him wrap you in the tightest, warmest, most comfortable hug you’ve ever been given.

You relaxed into him within seconds, all your nerves and worries washing away. You knew this was it… After all this time, you just knew he was finally yours.

“I told you I was coming to see you.” He nudged you, laughing at your previous state of shock.

“Shut up and just keep hugging me for a second.” You nudged back.

You pulled back slightly, searching to meet his eyes. You swallowed hard, thinking of the best way to ask for what you wanted.

“Please, kiss me, Sam… I- I’ve thought about it so many times. I just want to finally know how it feels to kiss you.” You pleaded with him.

He nodded just barely, leaning in to connect his lips with yours.

You hated when people compared their kisses to those of movies, but now you understood why.

The kiss was gentle and sweet, your lips moving in perfect timing with Sam’s.

You deepened the kiss, wrapping your arms around his neck. You wanted him as close to you as possible, scared that he was disappear if you let him go.

He pulled away for air, resting his forehead on yours.

“I’m not ignoring you anymore. I’m not going anywhere.” He promised You.

“Please, don’t.” You begged him, with a smile breaking over your face. “I missed you a lot.” You pulled him down for another kiss.

“Come on, I want to take care of you. Will you let me do that?” He asked, lips still ghosting over yours.

“Please. I’ve wanted you to take me for so long.” You told him. You knew you sounded so needy, but you didn’t even care.

Sam pulled away, taking your hand and guiding you to what he vaguely knew to be your room from past facetime calls.

You let go of his hand as the two of you entered your bedroom, closing the door behind you.

You barely had time to turn around to face Sam again, before he had you pushed against the door.

He crashed your his lips to yours in an intense kiss, snatching the air from your lungs.

“I’m an idiot for ignoring you so much.” He mumbled more to himself. You shook your head at him.

He set a devilish pace, grabbing your hair and pulling you back into his chest.

“Do you like it when I take you like this? When I talk to you soft, but fuck you all rough?” He cooed into your ear. The contrast in his words versus his actions, had the tingling feeling in the pit of your stomach returning quickly.

“Yes, Sam, I love it-“ You gasped as he changed his angle slightly.

“Fuck! Sammy, I’m so close.” You cried out through breathless moans and cries of pleasure.

“I’m right there, baby. Wait for me.” He pleaded, kissing your shoulder repeatedly.

He gripped your hair tighter in his fist, bringing his other hand around to circle your clit.

“Christ- Sammy, I- I can’t it’s so much-“ You shook in pleasure. It took everything in you not to push Sam’s hand away and collapse. “I’ve got you, baby. You’re right there, you got it,” he encouraged through his own gasps of pleasure.

You let go, body tensing in Sam’s arms. Your orgasm sent your vision into a blur, you were noiseless beneath him.

Sam moaned loudly, you clenching around him, sent him spiraling into his own high, filling you up to the brim.

You both gasped for air together, your body giving out and falling against the bed. Sam pulled out of you, laying down beside you.

You moved gently into his arms, letting him hold you against his warm body tightly.

“Can I tell you something?” He asked you genuinely. You swore he almost sounded a little scared. You looked over your shoulder at him, seeing a nervous expression over his features.

“Anything,” You gave him a reassuring smile.

“I think I love you.” His eyes locked with yours as the words left his mouth. Your eyes grew wide, brain faltering momentarily at his confession.

He probably just passed by Leviathan when he was playing the game, and your design caught his attention.

He refuses to let ANYONE know he plays the game, and his fondness of a fictional character will be taken to his grave.

He has ALL of your cards, no exceptions on the rule, and he's quite proud about it.

He probably has your set outfit be a more formal one? If there is a card where you're dressed in more formal setting that would probably be his favorite too.

Acts like he has no idea who you are whenever any of his brothers talk about you.

Surprisingly, none of his brothers know that he plays the game. Satan is a tiny bit suspicious because of his detective skills, but nothing is confirmed.

He's rich as shit so he has no problem using real money on special items for you, and if there's any items that give special dialog he WILL get his hands on it no matter what it takes, trust me.

Won't be able to answer any calls he gets from you all the time, but whenever he does he'll just relax to the sound if your voice.

Will give donations to whoever is your voice actor don't testhim—

Mammon[Avatar of Greed]

He likes to pretend that he isn't your fan but everyone can see right through him–

Will never miss any of your phone calls, they are the light of his life, like, seriously.

Will use actual money to get you the items, he just wants you to be happy.

Whenever you give him an item he goes over the moon, giving his phone this super cute giddy smile.

Whenever he gets an action during the surprise guests wrong he wants to cry, he doesn't want you to get angry at him.

Will get lots of items that are themed around you, and will probably grab anything he sees that holds even the slightest resemblance to you.

If you have a theme song then it is 100% his ringtone, no that is not up for debate.

Whenever he gets sad he'll play a phone call and just listen to your voice.

Leviathan[Avatar of Envy]

Ah yes, the king of being a fictional character simp.

He's the one who found the game, which set in motion the action of everyone adoring you.

You think he likes the lord of shadows? Henry? Ruri-chan? If so, then I don't want to tell you how bad he's got it for you.

He has ALL of your cards, haste highest level of your intimacy, knows all of your dialog by heart by now.

He has all merch that is even remotely related to you, and your theme song would also be his ringtone and alarm.

He cosplays you for sure.

Has a body pillow that he would bring to prom no questions asked.

Is your number 1 fan, and he gets involved with anything that is involved with you.

Will not stands any slander on your name and has only positive things to say about you.

Sometimes gets super sad that you aren't real but he'll get over it the next time he gets a phone call from you.

Satan[Avatar of Wrath]

Honestly he was not ready to end up liking a dating game so much, but here he is.

He'll just kind of have you on the screen on his phone while he reads aloud wishing that you were real–

Whenever he gets upset or angry he'll take his phone out and see if there's anything related to you that he can do to calm down.

Really likes playing the events and is always super excited to see what the next one will be about.

Get's super angry each time someone other than you is a surprise guest, it just really passes him off for some reason?

Will suck up every single detail about yourself that is given to him, he knows your character better than the writers do at this point.

If your character likes books he's even happier!

Has a suspicion that Lucifer knows and likes your character but he can't confirm anything.. yet.

He's getting there don't worry, and he'll be telling you every step on that plan–

Asmodeus[Avatar of Lust]

He doesn't have as much as Leviathan does, but he has have some of your merchandise.

Definitely has a keychain of you on his phone. He isn't embarrassed, he likes your character almost as much as he likes himself!

Because of him the game has a way bigger fandom than it used to do, many wanting to know what got the Asmodeus so hooked.

He defiantly paints his nails themed around you, as well as his make-up. coming up with fun designs on both make-up looks and his nails themed around you is his favorite thing ever.

If he sees any outfit of your character that he really likes he will get it!

Bases some of his outfits on you as well!

Likes to make jewelry and other accessories that would fit your aesthetic too!

Whenever he's doing his beauty routine he'll either be talking about random things to his phone with you and the screen, or he'll be listening to a phone call or a theme song.

Beelzebub[Avatar Gluttony]

Sweet boy probably only downloaded the game when he realized that three of his siblings(Levi, Satan and Asmo, they are the only ones brave enough to show how much they like you) enjoyed the game and he wanted something to talk to them about!

He didn't really know which character his siblings liked but he immediately took a liking to you.

He spends real money to get food for you to eat since he doesn't want you to be hungry.

Listents to your phone-calls while he eats or before a game so that he can hype himself up.

Sometimes likes to play music while he works out and your song is on ALL OF HIS PLAYLISTS–

When he realized that you were his brothers favorite character too, he was super excited, listening to all of Levi's rants about you.

Since Asmo dles everyone's nails he might sometime ask him to make his nails a bit different and theme them around you.

Whenever he can't sleep or has had a nightmare, he'll try and refrain from eating everything in the kitchen and instead opens the app to talk with you.

Belphegor[Avatar of Sloth]

Remembers Leviathan talking about you and the game, and since he was feeling really fucking lonely in the attic he downloaded it and gave it a try.

Your character was a huge comfort to him, especially since he remembered that Beel liked your character as well.

If your character is human it might have helped him calm down from his hatred a tiny bit. Not a lot, but a bit.

Will talk about the stars with you whenever he can, even if he knows you can't actually hear him.

Will listen to your phonecalls or songs whenever he goes to sleep, which is quite often lmao.

He has really good luck and somehow has all of your really rare cards!

He's super smug about that.

He doesn't level a lot of your cards up though, since he's too lazy to actually focus a lot on the story line. He mainly likes your character from what he's seen in chats.

When content with you starts running low he'll just quickly go through some seasons so that he can have comfort from you–

but after couple days at RAD, he noticed that random demons kept coming up to you in between classes and didnt leave until the next class started

most of them had come up to you with a pen and some paper asking for your autograph

he was just like ???

after a while of this happening luci decided to just ask you straight up why they were coming up to you like that and you had told him you were an idol back in the human realm

that explains it

he honestly doesnt mind

if people start hating on you in public, he’ll honestly just shoot them a death glare and it works

so damn well

he got too much pride to deal with those underlings

if you start working on music/mv projects that you left off on in the human realm (like shooting mv or singing) he will absolutely rent you a recording booth or fuck, even a whole ass theatre if you needed it

sometimes he likes to sit in the recording booth and listen to you sing for a bit before returning to his stacks of mammon’s bills

when mammon first found out you were an idol he started digging through boxes that had been in his closet

after what seemed like hours he finally found the box he was looking for and he started to dig through it

he pulled out an old camera that levi gave him a couple hundred years ago bc he said he didnt need it

mammon had the best idea ever, he could sell pictures of you to your fans for at least 10,000 grimm each.

surprisingly it worked

like really well

so well that you found out

you confronted him about it, saying that you find hella uncomfy with him snapping pictures of you at random times. not only that but it was an invasion of your privacy

despite him earning so much grimm, he agrees to stop but keeps some of the pictures to himself to look at when he misses you

if you get hate in public he’ll turn into his demon form and scare the person away, maybe scaring you in the procees but apologizes right away if he does

if you start working on music/mv projects he’ll offer to help you shoot mvs or record you singing if you need the help

just make sure he gets some credit for helping you

but he genuinely thinks you look amazing in anything, like anything

you could be wearing a big bird cosplay and he’ll think you look breathtaking

ADHD STUDY TIPS

I have adhd. I'm taking all online classes this semester for college. Somehow, I'm not failing. Here's what I do that works for me!

1. I have an alarm that makes me do math every morning to turn it off, it's called Alarmy! 📚

2. It also plays a different loud sound every day from random-- I have several hundred(?) ringtones downloaded from Zedge, things like songs from shows I like or Pokemon cries or MBMBAM lines, and this helps me wake up to a different sound I'm bound to like which my brain can't get used to (and then ignore). I highly suggest godzilla roars if you need to be startled awake. 📚

3. This is SUPER HARD but I always try to force myself to sit up in bed when I'm turning off my alarm or checking my phone or whatever, so I'm not tempted to pass out again. I also like to get up and loudly tell my cats "good morning" so I wake us both up 📚

4. PLEASE STOP EATING CEREAL AND BAGELS AND STUFF. You would not BELIEVE the difference it makes when you eat things like fruits and eggs in the morning. NO MORE 10AM NAPS, I'M WATCHING YOU 📚

5. I literally schedule in Duolingo time. If you aren't learning a language you can do some other enriching activity like this, idk. I force myself to do it on my computer, not phone, so I can't lay down in bed when I'm doin it. I have a 101-day streak!! 📚

6. ik this isn't available to everyone but SPACE MATTERS SO MUCH!! I got a gaming desk that we put in our living room and I do ALL of my homework there. I also got a second monitor for my laptop with is SOOOO important if you're multitasking (and we all are, bc we're adhders ibdusvcjkn) 📚

7. HAND WRITE YOUR NOTES!!! I know this is super hard for many people-- I have carpal tunnel so I get it lmao. If you can't, at least type them. YOU THINK YOU CAN MEMORIZE INFO BUT YOU'RE WRONG!! Please write as much as you can i swear it will change ur life 📚

8. COLOURED! PENS!!! These changed the game for me y'all. I take all my notes in at least 2 colours, and I cycle through them a lot. My favs are Pilot Frixions because u can erase them :) (the highlighters are epic too) 📚

9. Make your space fun, but NOT DISTRACTING. I have a plant (his name is Yoshi) and a desk Godzilla (his name is Godzilla) on my desk, but they're out of the way so I can't zone out starin at em. But also, when I'm bored outta my gourd, I can smile at Yoshi and tell him how my day is goin :] 📚

10. SNACKING BAD *BUT*... sometimes i do it anyway... i try to associate certain foods with subjects, like I eat cocoa M&Ms (which are awesome) when I'm reading my Kaqchikel textbook. On the upside, I think it helps me recall Kaqchikel better? but also the language makes me crave mnms adkldigurvn 📚

11. LISTEN TO... CERTAIN MUSIC. I have learned that music with words, even in LANGS I DO NOT KNOW, is HELL for my adhd. Right now I'm listening to stuff like "Pokemon and Chill" (lofi album on YT), Studio Ghibli violin covers, and Night on Bald Mountain 5x on repeat ibjnvc.... I highly suggest songs/videos that are, like, 20+ minutes or else you'll get distracted with the constant change. Also, that No One's Around To Help 1hr vid is REALLY REPETITIVE and therefore PERFECT for when I'm reading textbooks. 📚

12. EVERY NIGHT... i make a super detailed timetable schedule for the next day, down to the half hour. I don't always follow it but it's a really good reminder of what I gotta do. I write it on a whiteboard but sometimes I also write it on a sticky note and on social media so I don't forget. To do lists are so epic you guys 📚

13. THIS HAS SAVED MY L I F E: at the beginning of the semester I looked at ALL of my syllabi and wrote down EVERY daily task, test, homework, etc BY DATE. this is essentially a premade to do list EVERY DAY for MONTHS and oh my gosh it is the best thing I have ever done. 📚

14. I use the Forest app to track my productivity AND lock me out of apps ndsjv... podomoro timers work well too!!! 📚

15. Ok so for me this is like... a religious thing bc my Patron (my God) is a deity of fire AND working, but I like to light a candle (scented like FALL!!) and do a little prayer on it and I have it next to me when I'm workin on terrible, terrible homework. It helps me feel like my Patron is here with me, but also it’s GREAT for grounding and I can just kinda. Stare blankly at the flame and then get back to tryin to focus. 📚

16. Please drink water lmao, to make sure I drink enough I set little goals like "take a sip after every paragraph you read" 📚

17. Each of my classes has a different coloured notebook which I'm consistent with! Like, all my German notebooks through the years have been green! Also I take notes w green pens a lot in Deutsch 📚

18. HELLA STICKY NOTES... I put em on the bottom of my monitor, on a shelf by my desk, in my books as bookmarks (bad idea lol), on Yoshi. When I wanna go look up something random but I need to focus, I like to write it down on sticky notes to look at later. 📚

19. I'm the most annoying student ever. I like to do a bunch of assignments at once so I don't have to budget my time later, so I'll turn in like 5 things in an hour and then NOTHING for a week. ALSO i email my teachers constantly if I have any questions at all. I work at a pace that works for me!!! 📚

20. I turn off my sound on my phone until I'm done with work bc otherwise I WILL open that notification 📚

22. I make a loooot of chai (and also some overpriced herbal teas). It makes me feel fancy, it's better for me than coffee, and it helps me ground and focus! Plus it's a samefood! 📚

23. Hyperfixating on classic literature would be awesome, except I'm hyperfixating on Gothic and I'm taking a lit class for More Than Just Gothic. But I'm figuring out ways to connect them, which is really helpful, cause I get to enjoy my hyperfixation while learning for school! PLZ TRY TO DO THIS (harder when you're hyperfixating on godzilla :pensivecowboy:) 📚

21. When I have extra time I write my notes like I'm plannin to put em on Tumblr and taggin em as #darkacademia... I never post my notes, but when they look nice it's easier for me to look over em later. Plus it takes me longer to write so I remember it a lil better!! 📚

Memories with Pkyek

My introduction to Pyaar Ki Ye Ek Kahani or PKYEK as we all called it started with the amazing introduction promos I watched several times on star one. I remember watching one of the trailers of PKYEK on star one when I was in 5th grade which is almost 11 years back. I was casually switching channels and I saw this ad, mysterious, the tone of the ad was pretty dark, a curly haired girl and a blue eyed guy and he saves her from getting hit by a car. It was strangely so beautiful and the words “math aao mere kareeb, aag hu main jal jaogi” was clearly stuck in my head and this was a promo a week before the serial released.

I think the serial was scheduled to air from 18th October 2010 which was 2 days before my birthday and although I decided I have to watch this I could not watch it for some reason and I forgot about this serial. One day in class my bench mate and then close friend started talking to me about this serial and I immediately told her how much I loved the promo and she asked me to watch the episodes at 8:30 and if I missed it she also told me the re-broadcast timings which was sometime in the evening. I was like yeah sure since she strongly recommended it to me I would definitely watch it. So I was almost 7-8 episodes late and the first episode I watched was Abhay-Piya's first dance and the first scene I watched was Haseena telling Abhay to control himself on their party night near a small bridge kind of place and then the dance followed.��

OMG I must tell how it was one of the best dances I had ever seen on TV serial, it was so magical, especially the way they both were so lost in each other’s eyes and he ensured her torn dress wasn’t visible to anyone and also they danced on to kuch khaas hai song which was such a great song and it ended with the signature Mahiyaa tune. It instantly got me hooked to and I watched it religiously every day. My mom did not want me to watch teen romance Hindi TV serial so I literally had to change channels to Hungama every time she came to the hall XD. Since PKYEK was such a phenomena at school I made so many friends and the best part about pkyek is wherever I went after school for example junior college, Uni, my cousins friends etc all became my friends because of how we all watched pkyek LOL.

Anyway so I got my really studious friend Z into watching it and she was this person who never watched TV but once she say Abhay she was hopelessly in love with that guy. I cringe when I think we all went through this in 5th grade, I mean how were we all swooning over him like proper teenagers. Anyway one day she went to the library and found his picture on some magazine and she told me and I literally ran to the library to get a hold of it but there were so many people already holding it and finally I got a glimpse of Abhay Raichand’s photo and a short interview by Vivian D'sena. I think she started getting so addicted to pkyek that her mom did not like it and she sometimes called me n my landline to talk about it lol. One day there was this class in school where we weren’t supposed to talk so her and I wrote whatever we had to talk on my notebook along with my friend D and the full chat was about Z, D and me swooning over Abhay, while letting A have Abhay and us mostly us teasing her with him. The chats were extremely funny so I tore them from my book and gave it to my senior in my school bus to read it, and when her stop came, before she got down she handed over the papers to me. I think my bad luck was super great that day and my bus teacher, who was this very this strict language teacher who 7-8th grade students caught her passing the papers onto me and asked me to hand it over to her. I immediately put them into my bag and tried tearing them into pieces while she kept screaming to hand it over to her. In the end I had to hand over one part of the chat which was quite dangerous considering we were only 5th graders going crazy about an actor and talking like late teens but I managed to save the dangerous part in my bag. This ***** ma’am read it and literally told me that she would hand it over to my school’s head teacher and she did that the very next day. Why can’t teachers get a life?

Anyway the next day I came to class and told everyone about this and my extra sweet friends told me not to worry about it. In between an afternoon class, the peon came and called Z first, we thought maybe she got called for some extra circular activity, but when the peon came again and called me I knew I was dead. I went into the head teacher's room and she had almost got screwed and I was next in line and I somehow told even D was a part of this convo and even she got called. The other girls in my class were actually worried cuz they knew what was happening. And later head teacher screwed all of us and I guess Z cried on her way to class and then the head teacher let me and D go to class but we were so shameless, after getting a earful we could not stop laughing and literally lmaoed in the corridor before entering the class. This whole thing kind of strained my friendship with Z, and we weren’t the best of friends anymore but D and I still stuck close.

My school had this weird system where there was a girls and boys corridor and the girl’s corridor was pretty cool since it was on the left side and was closer to the trees while the right corridor used by guys was where the teachers entered the class from. So in these corridors we always role played and for some reason I was always Abhay even though I wanted to be Piya (I’m guessing it was because Of my short hair and being an serious faced person generally) and a lot of my friends were Piya and this friend of mine who was crazy about guys was called tracker and my friend D was Misha and we used to randomly dance to songs and recall the dialogues from the previous episodes, do the remoe juliet skit from pkyek and all sorts of things.

The background music on Pkyek is seriously so legendary and is among one of my favourite bgm tracks for a hindi serial. I would personally rate it number one and it had been my ringtone for 3 years. I tried looking for the Mahiyaa singer and the official song but I could not find it anywhere and mostly found only the recorded copies played in the serial. In my school bus I had seniors who I was very very close to because of pkyek and we always sung the background music, it’s so funny how we knew all the background music from pkyek by heart and remembered it perfectly and were in sync. I started singing this usually in my class as well and my friends hummed along.

Times of India and this other newspaper which I can’t recall had this section where TV channel broadcast programs were listed every day and this tiny picture from random TV shows was displayed on top of it. Whenever there was a pkyek picture all our friends used to literally fight over a picture that was probably 1*1 cms, very very tiny and even the quality wasn’t great but if you opened my pencil pouch on any random day you would find at least 10-15 of them LOL (I’ve lost all of them now).

I already mentioned how strict my mom was back then so I had to watch the re broadcast since I couldn’t watch the episodes fully at 8:30 PM. I had to wake up around midnight or early morning to watch it. I remember my parent’s thinking I sleep walked because my parents found me in hall instead of my room on odd mornings. It was quite the life with the box TV since I had to sit so close to it and the volume had to be on 1 or 2 since I could not wakeup people at home while watching it. One of the benefits of waking up early to watch this was also that I could see the newest promos on TV and I was always the first one in class to tell what the new promos were about. I remember telling my friends some of the coolest Pkyek promos like the vampire reveal one which in my opinion is still the best promo for a Hindi TV serial (I think Parvati introduction promo for Mahadev on Lifeok is a close second) and the promo where Abhay bites her and many more. I remember revealing this to my friends and my friends rushing home and switching on star one and waiting for the promos to appear and calling me to tell how amazing those promo were.

I remember how this one time I went to my senior A's house and we created fake Ouija board to call spirits. So we called her dead grandmother's spirit and she asked if the creepy guy in her class who was obsessed with her would stop annoying her and I immediately remembered the pkyek scene where Panchi asks maithli on the Ouija board if Danish would ever get punished. I don't know who's idea it was to play with it but it certainly had to do something with pkyek.

Those were really the fun times of my life. Pkyek is and will always be the most memorable serial for me. It’s not like we can expect great cg and VFX for a vampire serial and it in no way could be another vampire dairy or twilight (not to forget EK produced it) but the story and the writing was really amazing. I was a huge sucker for Abhay-Piyas chemistry and the supporting cast were literally the best!

Are you staying home from work/school? i was already doing freelance work remotely so thankfully that wasn’t disrupted by isolation. i'm SO fucking glad i graduated early last semester, i keep thinking about how i was actually trying to extend my stay at school into this semester and now i'm so grateful i decided against it ahhh

What music are you listening to? my own playlists for the most part: songs for the end of the world, music to touch the stove to, and snowday which is just quiet tired songs. What are you reading? i started if beale street could talk but i haven’t really touched it since because i haven’t been able to focus much on anything (hence the drag race rewatch). sooooo big surprise i've been reading fic instead. i read this tom/greg fic the other night which i shrieked aloud at multiple times even tho i don’t particularly care for the ship..but it almost convinced me. also i usually won’t read fics that misalign with my own headcanons for r/s (remus lupin tops!!! stop lying to yourselves!!!!!!) but the excellent plot and writing of this one sucked me in anyway. What are you doing for self-care? when it’s nice out i go on my porch to do work and sunbathe. i'm going to try to get into gardening once it’s a little bit warmer.

For Thanksgiving we have Thanksgiving dinner and for Christmas we decorate the tree together and put up decorations, have Christmas Eve dinner and then watch A Christmas Story (TBS plays it for 24 hours straight and I like to keep my TV on the channel all night so I fall asleep and wake up to it), and opening presents Christmas morning with A Christmas Story on in the background. When I was a kid we used to drive around town looking at all the lights and decorations. If you’re in a relationship, are you happy with it? I’m single. (blue, pink, etc) I dye it red. How’s your relationship with your parents? Great. I’m really close to my mom, she’s the best mom and also my best friend. Do you still live with them or do you have your own house? I live with them. What’s something you are currently saving money for to buy? I’m broke now after Christmas shopping, but I don’t care. I love buying gifts for my family. Next month I have to start saving up for my vacation. Do you smoke/vape? If so, what brand do you smoke/what device do you use? No. Ever done drugs? Just weed. Tell me one of your worst habits. Biting/picking at my lips and picking at acne and scabs. What’s a weird quirk you have that no one else you know does? I cook my Ramen for 6 minutes, alternating between stirring and not stirring. Like one minute I stir, the next minute I don’t, etc. If you game, what type of headset do you use? I just play with my Nintendo Switch. I don’t use a headset. I’ve never used a headset while playing any game console. What type of computer do you own, and do you like it? I have a MacBook Air. I love it. What’s the thing that annoys you the most? I’m such an irritable person. Sometimes it can be any little thing. What brand of TV do you have? Phillips Roku TV. Are you excited for Christmas? (It’s December 1st today when I made this) I love Christmastime. Tell me about your favorite vacation you’ve taken. Disneyland trips, beach trips, mountain area trips, and the trip my family and I took to visit my grandpa in Idaho one summer. My aunts, one of my uncles, a lot of my cousins, my mom, brother, and I all took the long road trip to go visit my grandpa for a week and we had the best time. It meant even more because he suddenly passed away just a few months later. :( We had no idea it would be our last time.

Tell me something cool about yourself. Lol there’s nothing cool about me. Did/do you get good grades in school/college? I got A’s and B’s. What’s your ringtone on your phone? Just one that came with the phone. I didn’t choose it. What’s your favorite store to shop in? Target, Hot Topic, Boxlunch, and Kohl’s. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would buy and why? I’d have to pay off my debt first and foremost. I’d pay off my parents and brothers’ as well. How long have you had a Bzoink account? I don’t have a Bzoink account.

Ever been to Field of Screams? If so, what’s your favorite attraction? Never heard of that one specifically, but I’m guessing it’s one of those things with like haunted hay rides, haunted houses, and people in scary costumes that jump out at you and whatnot. Those kinds of things are not my thing. I love horror movies, but I’m not about people jumping out at me and giving me literal jump scares. Nooo thank you. Do you own a Polaroid camera? No. Do you have hardwood floor in your room or carpet? Carpet. It’s a Saturday night, what are you typically doing? Same stuff I do everyday. Do you have a lot of friends or do you not have any at all? I don’t have any. That’s completely my own doing. :/ What’s your all time favorite movie and why? I have too many. How many blankets do you sleep with at night? Just one.

What’s the last TV show you watched? Did you enjoy it? KUWTK. Do you prefer cable TV or do you use Netflix? I have stuff I like to watch on TV and I like using streaming devices. Disney+ has been my latest obsession. What is your dream job and why? I don’t have one. :/ Do you think you would be a good therapist? No. What’s your favorite brand of clothing?
