HELLO???????????????????????????????????#that was a really good update . a little clunky in those transitions sometimes but ooooh boy that came together GOOD#jiaoqiu nearly sent me into hysterics i was so upset . and flabbergasted. mostly flabbergasted#also the part where hoolay let him go for a little bit and you had the option to try asking for help#with severe consequences to be reaped afterwards. that was so nervewracking#i ended up doing it once out of curiosity and immediately regretted it and was horribly anxious the rest of the time i was running around#and yeah those consequences sure do. Consequence#props to the writers and stuff for that one that was great i felt ill#FEIXIAO... GOD FEIXIAOOOOO OHHHH BOY I LOVE HERRR what a great character#i hoped and i prayed and i dreamed for a deep dive into her condition and not a vague gloss-over as hyv loves to do AND I GOT IT#moze didn't do enough tricks (aka just . being a part of the story and interacting with other characters) for me to care about him still#it's like#the yaoqing trio: yay yahoo yippee WOOOO YAYYYY#moze by himself: closes my eyes forever#DO MORE TRICKS FOR ME#lingsha's pretty cool. i will save her from her bad design#oh oh oh YANQING!!!!!!!!!! started watching ok ko recently and i’m absolutely obsessed with how it’d be a misnomer to call any of the characters off model at any given point. i don’t think there ever was a model. they just tossed the animators in there with a character sheet and a dream like god fucking intended

#digital devil saga#demi-fiend#python#digital devil saga 2#<- if you know you know. if you don't then don't worry about it :)#literally no one else will ever use this program most likely#but i just want seraph to stay within its defined folder#i should probably change it so that it'll run gaea rage if Path.cwd() aka the home folder isn't in the path but#i'm tired and just did a load of bugfixing of cannibalised code#at least using Path.cwd() means i don't have to adjust stuff for moving the folder#also if you don't get the joke: demi-fiend is an optional boss fight in digital devil saga#if you do certain actions like come into the fight with immunities he will spam a move called gaea rage at you until you die#and you will die#the only way to avoid gaea rage is possibly by a lucky miss (good luck keeping that up if he's spamming it forever)#or by having the passive skill null sleep which does not prevent you from being asleep but prevents damage while you're asleep#he'll scripted use it at certain points in the fight but a demon of his will use dormina (puts your party to sleep) beforehand#so you have to hope everyone falls asleep or at least enough people that you can get back in the fight easily#thanks cielo for being weak to ailments. a sentence you would never otherwise say because ailments suck#also i died by gaea rage spam by forgetting to unequip null attack from my back party members so uh. yeah

Hey by the way if I ever misgender you in cosplay it’s not because I think you have a gender underneath 9/10 times it’s because that’s the character’s gender and I forget not everyone wears pronouns like sweaters
(The other 1/10 time I remembered and am wildly flailing for anything that isn’t the character’s gender there is no winning)

Daisy is so fucking adorable. It looks like I'll be driving her out to Seattle in late September to go to her forever-home, so I get to enjoy her for another few months.

something to be said abt a foster pleading for anyone to adopt their extremely sweet and playful disabled tabby cat for over a year with absolute Crickets in response vs us making one post at 8pm with a frankly very poorly taken photo of a cute no-personality fluffy white kitten we have (who's not even been here 3 days!) and we have 45 comments within the hour and three of our adoption people with their phones blowing up
#i say something to be said but its been said before#its so weird how much value people put into the look of an animal vs its personality#look i love this kitten as much as the next guy but like. i dont know her#shes not got much going on and the only thing that sets her apart is her looks#and i know people will be throwing themselves at us to adopt her#but when we respond to the 15th app we got for her with 'hey you werent first but heres other options'#i already know theyll back out bc they couldnt get the shocking beautiful kitten they wantef#because it happens all. the. time.#we had a tripod siamese thing a few months ago and she got an application the night she was posted#and about 7 others too before we took her photo down#and the first person in line took her not necessarily bc she was perfect#but because she was good and wow what a beautiful cat everyone will be amazed by her!#whereas if they were there and met a tabby wjth the Same Exact Personality#and pros and cons#they wouldve moved on bc its just a tabby and theres no motivation to work with the animal#because it doesnt look pretty or unique#its been said a thousand times over by people way more articulate than me#but its so frustrating to watch it happen over and over again#we have mini aussie pups (aka longhaired chihuahuas with mearle color) who had adopters ready before they were even fixed#but when the millionth sweet baby pitbull puppy comes through theres no response#or when a senior fucked up chow chow is found as a stray people are biting at the bit to be approved to adopt it#but when those same people are asked if they can take in a young farm dog from a hoarding situation#they ghost us#shelter posting

#yeah i was trying to research why im feeling so awful#AND BTW THE SHIVERS AND OTHER STUFF HAS ONLY GOTTEN WORSE UGH !#and i did not come up with any satisfactory conclusions#i though it might be a lesbian thing but eeeh probably not#option 2 definitely fits better taking into consideration my other weird unexplained behaviour#but option 2 doesent help me. at all. and its just sad#so regardless of cause. i think im just never gonna have anyone touch me again and keep being happy on my own#the prospect of dying as a virgin-ish old lady seems much more peaceful to me than the alternative#aka these terrible shivers and head jerks and puke-y feelings and rip-my-skin off escape forever sensations#so i guess i should talk to my friends who i love <3 that prospect is making me sick too but it'll be good for me

Last year I kept track of the series & films I watched; this year I've decided to keep track of whatever books I read! So this one is for the month of January – I'll share these sometime after the month is over, or if I read more than one book during the month, I will do their reviews as soon as I finish the book :)
#ben picks up reading again#dania rambles about shit#should note that this is not spoiler free (don't give much context but still)#i would read it again just to catch all the parallels and symbolism#chose to read this on libby bc of the option to highlight and keep notes in one spot bc jfc I would've annotated tf out of a physical copy#doing this completely from my phone and made my own little template because I couldn't find any good ones for free#what else ummmm oh right this is like a basic answer/question and I ramble off topic but still within some type of margin#read that fanfic I recommend really since I feel like it's better written aka maybe I just like it more bc it has a happy ending#and it includes all the same problems that the characters of the original book went through (for the most part)#anyway 4/5 stars and not 5 bc like I got tired of clare's pov bc it felt like there was no different between#the varying ages we get once we reach her at like 12 and up#henry also affected this bc like he's likable but so stupid and shouldve studied paradoxes or something to solve his problems#again rambling it needs a fix it but blah blah not really their suffering is a main point of the book :)#yeah so structured like a traditional one but I focus on not so traditional aspects bc I have a way of analyzing things#as if I have an essay to write on it lmaooooo#these are handwritten bc I like to keep track in case it worsens due to my cubital tunnel affected wrist#(im a righty; lefty on the other hand has carpal tunnel but that only affects when I do hand on projects like pottery or painting)#I'm giving free trivia/lore about myself here lol
