Another question! Okay sorry lol I have another question for the both arms cradle you now fic again! So when you answered my previous ask about our step mother and our step siblings I remember in one of the parts you mentioned that their where more siblings like our dad and step mom had more kids or am I wrong? If I am you don’t have to answer this ask! I was also wondering more about the neglect why did they now realize what they put reader/us through? What triggered their yandere behavior sorry for my so many asks! I just love your blog! Have a good day! And drink water and get lots of sleep!

You are right, I did write that! Thing is at the time I was still unsure of who all I was adding to the story as well as the timeline of events :p so reader now officially has two older stepsiblings and a younger half brother!

Reader was fourteen when they finally gave up on their dad, and moved away with their mom shortly after. They didn't want any contact with anyone from Damien's side of the familly, so the Christmas party is everyone's first time seeing them in years. (Four, since reader is eighteen currently in the series)

The first year reader was gone was a shitshow to say the least

Going no contact with everyone was abrupt, especially since the family as a whole was tight-knit. Paul eventually got a hold of reader's mom (she was ignoring Damien) and got a simple explanation that basically boiled down to 'ask your son and his step kids'

Lizzie is already in boiling water at this point since everyone was freaking out about reader being gone all of a sudden, so when she gets set down for some answers she immediately bursts into tears and confesses (miles is also in trouble, and he quietly confirms and admits his part of things)

After everything is out in the open, Damien is having a crisis. He's also sobbing now because he realizes that not only has he been a shitty dad and lost his kid, but you've been through so much (his baby, oh god, his baby..)

Paul has to leave so he doesn't just yell at them all for hours, but makes sure they know that they aren't allowed in his home for the foreseeable future (you can see that he's still really cold to Damien in 'villian and violent')

You know the saying absence makes the heart grow fonder? Dial that up to the extreme.

Everybody misses reader dearly (besides the step sibs at first), there's always a hope that there will be a phone call, a text, something, but it never comes.

Longing and longing and longing starts to turn into something different, because when reader is back (and they will be) what's stopping you from leaving again? Familly is important, even if you were wronged, how do they show you that you need them?

How would Vincent(or any other ocs you'd like) react to a reader who's nervous around/scared of him? Maybe they refuse to speak or hide from them?

Octavian would be positively heartbroken. He'd try coaxing you out of your hiding spot with promises of anything you want (other than freedom).

He'd sit in the same room he knows you're in and if tempting you with foods or items don't work, he'll just calmly speak to you feel safe enough to talk to him. He'd be very patient.

"It's okay, sweetheart... I know you're scared, but its just Papa! I love you so very much, it hurts to know you think I'd hurt you. But that's okay... I'll wait for you to come around. We have an eternity, after all."

Vincent would find it cute at first. "Aww, are you getting shy, pumpkin? Only babies are shy. Its okay, I'd never harm a hair on your precious head!"

If it continues on for longer than expected, he'd grow more frustrated. You'd lose privileges (screentime, dessert, toys), and he'd be almost pleading you to tell him what to do to prove he just wants to be your dad, that he'd never dream of hurting you.

"How long are you gonna continue this?! I've done so much for you, and you're still scared of me?! Ungrateful little-- oh no. Nonono, baby, don't cry, I didn't mean it, shh... please let me hold you. Dad's sorry."

Indigo is confused. Look around you, do you really think he'd ever hurt you?? :( maybe its a human thing, maybe he's not being clear enough with his intentions. He blames himself for that. Maybe he needs to use actions rather than words to get the message through.

So he doubles down on his treatment of you. He'll swaddle you tightly like an actual baby, make sure all food he gives you is turned into mush to resemble baby food, and he'll refrain from using big words to you, but rather noises from his own species that are mostly just coos and clicks.

"Shhhh... no more of this hiding, little one. You've lived a life of such stress and constant fear... no more... I'll make sure of that."

Magnus is mildly annoyed, but not shocked. After all, humans are such anxious creatures sometimes, even if he doesn't know much about them. He doesn't like you acting fearful of him regardless, and each time he catches you hiding, he wordlessly drags you back to the nest and flies off again.

He's similar to Indigo in the sense he will double down on his treatment, only to get the message across further. He'll make sure you're constantly by his side whenever he isn't out, carrying you around, reminding you that he is your father and protector. Hurting you would be just silly, wouldn't it?

"I'd kill all the creatures in the world if it meant you were safe, and you want to act scared of me? If I wanted to hurt you, would I have gone through all this effort to keep you warm, protected, and fed? I'm hurt by your logic."

Kenny had convinced Stan to hang out with him and tag along to soccer practice with him, it avoided the alternative - that being Stan moping around while Kyle was out of town with his family. Besides, Kenny felt like it had been ages since he and Stan hung out together without anyone else there. After Kenny was finished with soccer practice, he and Stan got into his beat up old truck and drove around for a bit while they came up with a plan on what to do.

“I dunno, dude…” Stan mumbled, the side of his face pressed up against the window, his eyes closed.

“C’mon, stop sulking. Kyle’s only gonna be gone for a week.” Kenny reminded him, amusement lacing his tone at how much of a clingy baby Stan could be at times.

“I know… Sorry, Kenny, I’m ruining the mood again, aren’t I?” Stan sat up straighter, pulling his face away from the window to look over at Kenny with a face like a kicked puppy, seeking even more reassurance by the looks of it.

Kenny, still amused and in a bit of a joking mood replied accordingly, not realising that Stan was not in the right mindset to fully comprehend his sarcasm. “Mmmh, yeah, kinda.” Kenny stated, facing forwards as he drove so his little grin to signify that he was joking went unseen by Stan.

Stan fell silent for a few moments, although each second felt like an eternity, dragging on as his thoughts spiralled. Was he really ruining the mood? What if Kenny didn’t really want to hang out with him at all, and was just doing it out of pity like Stan was some sort of charity case? The memory of his tenth birthday and the aftermath, losing all of his friends and needing to resort to alcoholism to be tolerable enough to win them back again, flashed in his mind. He’d recently managed to stop drinking, but did this mean he had to start again? Maybe he really was a shitty person to hang out with when he was sober, maybe this entire time his friends were just too kind to say anything, maybe this whole time he’d been ruining the mood without realising it.

It was too much, all of the spiralling what if’s, all the bad feelings making his stomach hurt and his eyes sting with unshed tears. He felt himself slipping and he couldn’t stop himself, no matter how much he wanted to. He hadn’t ever regressed in front of Kenny before, he wasn’t even sure if Kenny would be cool with it or if he’d make fun of him for it. It didn’t help that Stan was already feeling like he was burdening Kenny by just hanging out with him, regressing near him would be burdening him even more, right? But those thoughts only contributed to his slipping mental state, quickening the speed at which he began falling into a younger mindset. Eventually, his breath hitched and he couldn’t keep the tears at bay anymore, his tears and emotions spilling out as he began sobbing right there in the passenger seat.

The sudden crying scared the hell out of Kenny as it was quite literally one of the last things he was expecting at that moment, quickly whipping his head to look at Stan. “Woah, hey, what’s wrong, dude?”

Kenny pulled over while Stan was trying to verbalise his thoughts in between his tears and gasps for air, waiting patiently for Stan to find his words. Eventually Stan managed to wail out, “You don’t wanna be my friend anymore.” before dissolving back into sobs, his chest heaving from the intensity of them. Kenny was even more confused now, staring at Stan blankly for a couple of long seconds before it finally clicked in his head.

“What? No, Stan, dude, I was only joking.” Kenny quickly said, reaching over to place a reassuring hand on Stan’s shoulder.

“You’re just…” Stan paused to sniffle and attempt to dry his eyes on his sleeves, “Saying that…”

“No, honest, I was only joking.” Kenny repeated, moving one of his hands away from Stan’s shoulder to hold out a pinky finger instead, “I promise.”

Stan eyed the outstretched finger warily, his gaze flickering up to meet Kenny’s, “You promise?”

“Mmhmm,” Kenny nodded, interlocking their pinky fingers, “Promise.”

Stan hummed quietly in affirmation as they each pulled away from the pinky promise, wiping the tears from his face on his sleeves until his face was somewhat dry, still having to sniffle to avoid his nose running. Kenny breathed a sigh of relief, glad that the tears were over. He started driving again, using the time at a red light to turn to face Stan again and check on him.

“Any idea on what you wanna do yet?” Kenny asked in a softer tone of voice, a little worried he’d somehow make Stan cry again.

“Uhm…” Stan uttered, drawing the sound out as he stared out of the window, absentmindedly chewing on the strings of his hoodie, “Uh… Can we, uhm…”

Kenny smiled, biting back a chuckle as he nodded his head, “Yeah?” He prompted kindly, looking back at the road as the light turned green again.

“Mmh… Movie.” Stan managed to mumble out before his attention was immediately diverted again as they were approaching a gas station. He grunted excitedly, jabbing his fingers against the glass to point at the gas station, “Snacks. Get snacks. O-Oh, and slushie. Get slushie too.”

“Yeah, okay, we can do that.” Kenny replied, changing lanes to pull into the gas station parking lot. Once he was parked up, he and Stan got out of the truck. Kenny was a little surprised when Stan suddenly grabbed hold of his hand when they walked into the store, but he didn’t mind so didn’t say anything or stop him. To be honest, he found it kind of endearing. It reminded him of when he and Karen were younger and she’d always be clinging to him. Karen had grown out of that now, she still loved her big brother obviously, but she didn’t need him to protect her as much as she used to, so Kenny was enjoying the feeling of being a protective big brother again.

Kenny handed Stan the basket at first, but after he knocked into the third shelf of items, Kenny took over again. Luckily he didn’t actually knock anything off of the shelf, just bumped into it, but Kenny didn’t want to risk them getting yelled at by the employee - especially not if Stan would start crying again. They filled the basket with various snacks and candies for their movie hangout, as well as getting a slushie each. Stan wanted the biggest size possible, and Kenny didn’t have the heart to say no after seeing the pure, childlike excitement in Stan’s eyes as he held up the large cup like it was the most precious item in the universe. After paying for the items they returned to the truck, Stan already half-way through his slushie somehow - earning him a little red ring around his lips from the food dye in the flavouring. By time they got to Kenny’s house to watch the movie, which ended up being an old Terrance and Phillip movie because it was one of the only ones that Kenny had that were appropriate for Stan’s current mental state, Stan’s slushie was pretty much gone. Most of it had ended up on his chin and hoodie after he’d insisted on taking the lid off to “Drink it better”, but Kenny thankfully managed to navigate that situation without any more tears.

They sat next to each other on the floor of Kenny’s bedroom, cross-legged in front of his old tv while the vhs copy of the Terrance and Phillip movie played on the screen. Stan was leant against, borderline sat on, Kenny, giggling every time the Canadians referred to each other as ‘buddy’, which gave Kenny a bit of an idea.

“You liking the movie, buddy?” Kenny asked, grinning in total adoration at Stan’s wide-eyed expression of joy as he giggled even louder, nodding his head vigorously.

Kenny continued to address Stan as ‘buddy’, slipping it into every single question he asked, feeling a sense of brotherly pride every time he received a giggly response from Stan. Kenny didn’t really know what was going on with Stan at the moment, but he didn’t care all too much. This was still a fun hangout for both of them, so there wasn’t any reason to take up an issue with it. Once the movie ended, their supply of snacks and candy thoroughly depleted, Kenny managed to find a couple of old toys in the back of his closet that he never got round to donating or getting rid of.

“Here we go, some toys for you, kid.” Kenny narrated as he put the toys down on the floor in front of Stan. He didn’t know where the term ‘kid’ had suddenly come from, but he liked it, it made him sound like some sort of cool cowboy-ish uncle or something. Stan was happy to play with the toys he’d been supplied with, but only on the condition that Kenny played with him too, and stayed right there beside him. Kenny had made the mistake of trying to leave the room to use the bathroom without telling Stan, and had to quickly avoid another bout of tears. Stan was being extra clingy, but that wasn’t anything Kenny couldn’t handle. He managed to compromise by allowing Stan to stand right outside the bathroom door while he was in there, being as quick as humanly possible, and then apologising for his brief absence from Stan’s immediate vicinity with some cuddles to pacify that clingy behaviour.

The cuddles seemed to do the trick, as Stan managed to fall asleep in Kenny’s arms. Kenny smirked, both because he found it endearing, but also because he thought it would make for a funny picture to send to Kyle - which he did almost immediately after he noticed that Stan had dozed off, captioning it with ‘You should hurry up and get back home before I become his new super best friend.’

Whats your favorite cutie mark design, of all mlp generations?

Ooh, that's a tricky one! There are so many great cutie marks in MLP but I really like the ones that are creative, functional, 3D or in any way different from the norm.

The cutie marks I like the best are G1's Precious Pocket ponies from year 9. Bubblefish's cutie mark is my favourite out of them all. She's got a lil friend, how adorable is that?

I'm also rather fond of the Magic Message ponies from year 6, though I don't like them as much since they're so easily damaged, so it's near impossible to find ones in good condition. My favourite out of them is definitely Floater, she's so cute! I have a theory that her cutie mark may have been the inspiration for Pinkie Pie's.

Generally

I think with everyone being from different time periods, they'll all have their own opinion on the whole regression thing. Though, I think Hetty would be the only one overtly weirded out by it.

I wouldn't categorize everybody into CG & regressor boxes specifically because of the whole group dynamic. They're a family one way or another!

Kids

I heavily HC Trevor as a flip! In a lot of the story lines centered around him, he deals with his actual bio childhood & and teen to young adult years. He's one of those regressors who will dip in & out of headspaces within seconds when he's emotional. Are you talking to a 6 year old who's upset about being told what to do? A teenager who knows all the words but still can't verbalize his feelings?? A 33 year old who's realizing his life may have not been as great as he thought and now struggles to adjust to new perspectives?! Yes. All of the above.

On a lighter note - I think Sam is super accepting of everything. Finds older Saturday morning cartoons to stream, tries to play games with the kids as best as she can, reads 'em stories, etc. !!

I can also see Flower teaching Hetty a thing or two about honoring and healing her inner child! Letting that little girl, who hadn't learned and didn't understand social customs yet, barrel through the hallways while playing catch - or climb up on counters and furniture just because nobody can tell her no this time !

The rest of the family

Sassapis is the resident bad influence. Especially on Trevor. He's absolutely Trevor's bonus older brother, who teaches him nothing but mischief!

Pete gets delegated to babysitter the most out of everybody. He's qualified...enough! It's not like the kids can cause any actual harm this time around-

Flower seems like a flip to me! More of an age dreamer than a regressor, but she did have friends who regressed while she was alive & has the most experience with it! She also keeps trying to get Thor in on the fun...if only he would stop repressing it >:[

Alberta is really fun for the kids to be around!! She'll tell them stories they've all heard a million times..but who cares! She's so good at performing and acting them out it's always entertaining. She's also a big comfort when things get rough. Somehow knows just what to say or when to scoop somebody up for a hug. Even if she herself isn't very confident about doing things right with the kids.

And..Issac just can't deal with kids. He's one of those people who absolutely does not know how to behave around children, and that extends to his friends. Not that he doesn't like them!! He's just v e r y awkward about it. Don't leave him in a room with someone regressed. He'll cry. /hj

I haven't watched this silly little show in a while but I was fixated on Trevor for a looooong time,, so most of my more specific HCs are for him JSBFEJ

First, let me just say how brave you are for sharing this. Feeling alone in your regression and not having the support you deserve is so hard, and I’m so proud of you for reaching out!

I know how heavy it can feel to wish for a caregiver or just someone who “gets it.” It’s completely valid to want that kind of connection and support—and while it’s tough to not have that right now, I promise you’re not stuck feeling this way forever! 💌

Let’s talk about making regression feel safer! (and less obvious so you don’t have to worry about judgment from others.)

The truth is, a lot of regression activities can blend in with “normal” adult hobbies:

🌸 Subtle ways to regress:

Love coloring? Call it “adult coloring for stress relief” (which is super trendy right now!)

Like plushies? They’re just cute room decor or collectibles (many adults have them!)

Cartoons or kids’ shows? Totally normal—nostalgia is a big thing these days.

Playing with toys? Call it a “creative outlet” or say you collect them—it’s way more common than people realize!

You don’t have to call it regression if you’re not comfortable sharing that yet. Frame it as self-care or stress relief, and you’ll find it’s a lot less intimidating for others to understand. Plus, this way, you can still enjoy your little space without feeling too exposed!

💡 It’s okay to start small with your family and friends. For example, you don’t have to explain everything about regression to them. Maybe you can share that you’re into things like cozy routines, nostalgic shows, or collecting cute things because they make you happy. If someone asks why, you can just say, “It helps me relax and unwind.” Simple and true!

💌 Your family shouldn’t judge you for what you like. I know that’s easier said than done, but here’s the thing: you’re allowed to enjoy what makes you happy, and that’s not something anyone has the right to take away from you. If they don’t understand, that’s on them—not you. It’s okay to set boundaries with people who can’t be supportive. You don’t need their approval to be you.

🌟 The online community can be a great source of comfort. If you’re feeling isolated, finding others who understand can make a huge difference. Even just reading posts, connecting anonymously, or observing the community from a distance can remind you that you’re not weird, broken, or alone. You belong, and there are so many people who would love to cheer you on as you explore this part of yourself.

Lastly, I want to remind you that you’re doing so amazing right now. Even if it doesn’t feel like it, you’re showing up for yourself and doing the best you can—and that’s more than enough. 💖 You deserve to feel safe, loved, and free to express yourself, and I believe with all my heart that you’ll get there. I do want to preface this but reiterating that I’m very new to the agere and petre community. I’m still learning as I go about myself and how I fit into this new personal aspect I’ve discovered. To any littles reading, this is my big blog and I do post/reblog nsfw content, so please be mindful when navigating through it.

-yes, autistic!Yelena is an age regressor. (I have thoughts about petre!kate too, but that’s a different story. Someone feel free to bomb my inbox.)

-Yelena’s little age is 3-6, correlating to her time in Ohio before the Red Room

-age regression is not something Yelena is familiar with in any way. She has dropped into Little Space several times once free from the Red Room, but has never understood what it is or what’s happening and has frankly been a little freaked out by it.

-the first time she slips into Little Space while she and Kate are dating, she stays far away from her girlfriend out of panic and fear of Kate’s reaction. She still doesn’t understand what’s happening to her and has no idea how to express to Kate what she wants and needs and how she’s feeling.

-it takes a little bit for Kate to catch on that something is up, but once she realizes, she watches carefully to try to figure out what’s going on. They’re babysitting Wanda’s twins one night when Yelena slips without really realizing, the comforting weight of Kate’s arms around her shoulder, a toddler in her lap, and a Bluey episode on the screen all mixing together with the strain of the day to pull her under.

-Billy tries talking to her about the brightly colored characters on the screen, which is when Yelena realizes she’s slipped. Her initial response is the same panic, but Kate sees what’s happening and holds her close, rubbing her arm and whispering soothingly to her to help her calm down, and Yelena melts into her, cuddling Billy close like she might a stuffie (he’s all for it, he loves to snuggle. Auntie Lena is warm and comforting)

-she stays in little space the entire evening, and is still deep when Wanda and Natasha pick the boys up. Kate knows a little more about age regression and sort of puts two and two together, but decides to talk to Yelena about it later, and just takes care of her the rest of the night. Yelena doesn’t talk very much, she’s shy and embarrassed, but Kate is perceptive and they take a quiet bath before changing into soft, matching pjs and cuddling in bed with the dogs.

-it takes a couple conversations for Kate to land on age regression, and she helps Yelena do some research online, looking through posts and essays and researches done and made by others. It takes her a while to come around to the idea, and during that transition period, she tries not to feel little at all, but the stress just builds and builds until she gives in when Kate suggests helping her regress to feel better and have a safe space.

-Kate does a ton of her own research on how to be a caregiver, and connects with people in the community online to talk with others and learn more.

-it’s a slow progression, but eventually Yelena is almost 100% comfortable with her regression, and Kate is her safe place. She texts her the moment she feels herself slipping at any time.

-they got home one day from picking out little gear for Yelena at the store when Natasha comes to visit, and her initial reaction to it is to think that they’ve decided to have a baby or adopt

-it’s a bit of an awkward conversation, but one that Yelena does want to have. Kate gets everything put away while they talk, but once Yelena has explained and Natasha asks a few questions, all she does is tell Yelena that she always here for her. (She also re-threatens Kate and makes sure she’s taking care of her sister)

-I haven’t decided if Yelena calls Kate mama or papa while she’s regressed. Thoughts?

-Yelena age regressing does not negatively impact her relationship with Kate in any way. It takes Kate some time to learn how to be the caregiver that Yelena needs, but they learn together.
