Whats your favorite cutie mark design, of all mlp generations?

Ooh, that's a tricky one! There are so many great cutie marks in MLP but I really like the ones that are creative, functional, 3D or in any way different from the norm.

The cutie marks I like the best are G1's Precious Pocket ponies from year 9. Bubblefish's cutie mark is my favourite out of them all. She's got a lil friend, how adorable is that?

I'm also rather fond of the Magic Message ponies from year 6, though I don't like them as much since they're so easily damaged, so it's near impossible to find ones in good condition. My favourite out of them is definitely Floater, she's so cute! I have a theory that her cutie mark may have been the inspiration for Pinkie Pie's.

I really like Magic Message Floater's color scheme, other than that one dark balloon. It seems out of place.

it’s a 1996 MGA magic touch pony! what a neat little line this was. i think with just a few more touches (better eye paint and maybe a forelock or bangs) they’d have really been up there with mlp. some of the other ones i see MIB online really make me think of small-scale budget dream beauties.

i love her ‘absolutely not a magic message cutie mark’ swan symbol, i honestly like it more than most of the actual magic message designs. i can’t for the life of me actually figure out how the gimmick activates though. i originally guessed sunlight or heat but i couldn’t pin it down to either of those consistently. it just happens sometimes? my phone absolutely hated trying to photograph that red paint and by the time i got a decent one the baby swans were disappearing again… anyone have any idea…?

So, I try to keep personal stuff on my personal blog, separate from this blog, because I know you come here for the silly quotes and I don’t want to distract you from that or upset you when you’re just coming here for a quick laugh.

But this kinda trumps all of that.

There is a genocide happening right now. Palestinians are being slaughtered with the very clear intent of wiping them off the map.

I am dirt poor with very little prospects. I have very little money to spend on charities or relief funds or even people’s personal gofundmes for things like just getting out of Palestine before they die.

But I do have this blog, and I have all of the wonderful people who keep coming back here, day after day, to get a little laugh. I hope to keep this blog going for as long as I can so I can keep you laughing for as long as I can.

But this is where I have to play the panhandler and ask for some of that good will back. I have to. This is too huge NOT to.

If you have any money, any at all, to spare, please look into the various relief programs or personal gofundmes that can increase Palestinians’ chances for survival. Every little bit helps.

And if you’re like me and you have absolutely no money to spare, try checking out Arab.org. It’s a clever little site where, by clicking on each of their tabs daily, you watch a very short advertisement that increases revenue for their charity.

If even half of my followers made the effort of clicking each tab on that site on a daily or even semi-daily basis, it would make a world of difference to a lot of people.

People tend to see what we want and disregard the rest. I'm guilty of it myself, on occasion. It's how super-progressive shows like Star Trek often get conservative fans who angrily complain about "messages" and "politics being forced in". They only want to see laser-shooty, whoosh, science-fiction adventure so they ignore the text and subtext which they find conflicts with their worldview.

In-canon, Season 8 Episode1, Princess Twilight is told what she is allowed to teach and whom she is allowed to teach it to by Chancellor Neighsay. Neighsay is a recognized authority figure in Equestria who removes her book of friendship from being taught under penalty of school closure. He BANS her from teaching a book. Ultimately, she tells tells him where to go and how to get there and she teaches from a BANNED BOOK, a book she is told she is not allowed to teach. That is canon, in-show.

If y'all never saw that episode, that's too bad. I recommend it. Good biz. But if y'all are the kind to actually side with Neighsay or make excuses for him. Ew. Just ew. Bad biscuits, bud. Bad biscuits indeed.

Knowledge should never be forbidden.
