Hey !!!!!
If you’re a African-American Hoodoo practitioner, please do not get these three books, as they are written by white people who are doing digital blackface.
Hoodoo is a closed African-American spirituality practice that only African-Americans can practice. We do not have a lot of resources or books written by African-Americans so I will try to provide all the books that I use by actual African-Americans.
It’s upsetting that I find a book about Hoodoo thats written by a white person or a non-African-American person. I don’t like that.
Some African American Hoodoo authors I suggest are:
Stephanie Rose Bird
Monique Joiner Siedlak
and Tayannah Lee Mcquillar

Soul food, AAVE, black fraternities and sororities, HBCUs, soul line dances, hip-hop/r&b/funk/folk/blues/basically all genres of music, and so much more wouldn’t exist without the enslaved Africans (and their descendants) who made the most out of what they had. It’s a total slap in the face for anyone to pretend otherwise.

a good aro friend on dc gave me this idea (who is now my enemy for the same reason) that we come up with more jokes, personally i'm aroace and aplspec but overall is what i'm talking about. cause according to them, the dragons and garlic bread is getting old and lets quote on quote STeAM oUt Of their EaRS. they just went on a rant about it but couldn't come up with a single (much less good) one. arooos what do we got? edit: this ought to show you @saucewisdom as no one who talks ill about garlic bread must be allowed to get away with it

Why am I looking up “How To Do An Irish Accent” on YouTube so that I can do a good accent for McGilded in TGAA? I am so down deep this is so much.
There are so many accents I have to do! And I’m bad at almost all of them! British I can perfectly (I’m in theatre and had to do a British pronunciation class because we were doing Mary Poppins for our musical) I can do an American accent (I am from the States) but…
Ong I CANNOT do a Russian accent! I had so much trouble with the Russians and I kept going back to British on accident.
AND NOW I HAVE TO DO AN IRISH ONE? I CAN’T KEEP DOING THIS.
