It's still on you to enforce your boundaries. You post something publicly, you forfeit your ability to regulate who can view your work. If you're obsessive enough, you can regulate who actually interacts with your work by stalking each person in the kudos list, comments, or bookmarks and then blocking snyone you don't like, but you do not get a say on who may silently read your posts. Not unless you private your work and only show it to specific people.

THEY ARE COPING MECHANISMS. shipping yuu and tsubaki has genuinely *made me feel better and less gross* about being in a relationship with a 17-year-old when i was 12 because i was being groomed. i don't know why. i can't explain it. i just know it helps.

i also have HORRIFIC intrusive thoughts that often involve graphic imagery of me committing csa, specifically against my own siblings. don't feel this needs to be said, as it's kind of in the name, but these thoughts bring me immense distress.

antis will say, with their full chest, that i'm a groomer and pedophile and need to be kept away from children because of the things i ship and the kinds of characters i am attracted to. they will tell me i should not be able to see my own siblings because i'm going to harm them. this is DEEPLY triggering.

i live in fear that one day i will hurt a child. i don't want to. i know that. but i've had intrusive thoughts about it regularly *since the age of 11*. i am so scared that one day i will act on those thoughts. and regularly seeing people call me a child abuser for the way i cope with my own trauma is absolutely not making that any better.

Okay, so I don't get why do you need to put emphasis on the age of a non-existent being, but I understand that it is once again the moral panic thing that is the secret weapon of any anti.

Nobody is acting like the creator is a bad person, but they(idk the creators pronouns) should understand the way that Internet works. If you make something public, and more important: ON THE INTERNET. You should expect that not everything is gonna be a rainbow land of Fairys. Like: Take for an example the mlp fandom.

The second part of the rant I just don't care cos it's just an anti being a kink shamer and dramatizing something completely chronically online as if the people who drew r34 of these characters were demons, and completely forgoting the main point of the Yaelokre drama, that is: Yealokre doesn't know how to deal with the internet, and they had very unrealistic expectations about the ENTIRE INTERNET. Yes, I understand that it's very bad to see a bunch of people disrespecting someone's boundaries. But, about the characters... it has become something public since when Yaelokre decided to post them. If Yaelokre doesn't know how the internet works, then the problem ends up being theirs too, unfortunately.

I was on TikTok when the fandom exploded and I could see that it would go very wrong at the moment when a fandom thst was growing REALLY FAST and 99% of the fandom was already "Ah, we're going to be the least toxic fandom in the world!" Or "Ah, we're going to police anyone who wants to participate," etc. If Yaelokre wanted a closed community, then why they make it public? Yaelokre is not a kid, I find it very weird that they don't have any previous knowledge about how fandom behave on the internet.
