Guys you're going to have to let me say something odd for a hot second. But when organizing my desktop sometimes I consider what it would be like if my games were little dudes living in a neighborhood with the games I put next to them. And let me tell you.

Isn’t it a bit strange how the Inspector says he could never return to the point in spacetime when Emerald was abandoned on the steps of the synagogue, yet he already went there twice?

Granted, one of those times was after the pixies had nicked her from the synagogue, so technically that happened in an alternate timeline. The 12th Inspector had done that in ‘Before the Drought’, after all.

thinking about Nico adjusting to letting himself miss and long for the people he loves. based on these bits from the sun and the star:

thinking about this again… luke spending years perfecting an apology, creating a plan for aemond not to hate him, etc. in a modern au he even gets the idea of giving aemond a new prosthetic eye before rhaenyra tells him it’s a bit too much (and aemond would probably punch him for it.)

but when they meet aemond is… not interested, to put it kindly. he must engage with luke since viserys is dropping dead at any second and he wants the family to be United, but that’s about it. he doesn’t talk to luke, barely looks at him, and luke should be glad he doesn’t have to go through the process of apologizing, but it feels wrong. he feels like he should do something for aemond.

now, as far as my mind goes, this could get weird very quickly. luke could spend most of his days helping aemond out with shit like his car or schoolwork, and as weirded out as aemond is, he lets it be. as it turns out, luke’s obsession with apologizing is just obsession, after all.

i like lucemond amnesiac fics but what about amnesia EARLY on the lucemond timeline. like aemond losing and eye and hitting his head on the way to the floor or something, ends up having no recollection of the event whatsoever and alicent doesn’t help at all. she just tells him it was an accident whatever. never mentions luke.

rhaenyra + the kids still leave and baby luke is eaten alive by guilt over the years. fast forward he comes back to king’s landing and prepares to meet with aemond and being threatened within an inch of his life, only for aemond to glance at him for 2 seconds and then just ignoring him. like. 100% nonchalant.

I don’t usually do discourse on this blog but that last reblog hit the nail on the head. Reader interaction is at an all time low for fic authors and whilst I’m eternally grateful for any and all kudos and comments that I do receive, I feel as if in the past couple of years there’s been this weird migration of comments - they’ve left ao3 and they’re on tiktok instead. So, rather than people leaving comments on my fics, they leave their comments on the videos of people reccing my fics. I see tiktoks about my fics and they’ll have double, triple the number of comments that the fic itself has. It’s so lovely that people are talking about my writing, but it’s just a very strange phenomenon and a very odd feeling when you have a fic that you assume wasn’t overly well received because it has hardly any comments on ao3, but then you see a tiktok full of comments with people saying that it’s their favourite fic.

And I’m going to say something potentially controversial here but not ONCE have I seen a tiktok creator, whose content relies solely on other people’s fics, say anything along the lines of “leave the author a comment if you enjoy the rec.” Literally never ever seen this. And I think that’s a real shame.
